You guys down with waiting for time to advance in the rp, then? That, or I could think of a different subplot to be able to start with in the day.

Are you fine with maybe doing a subplot with me? I was thinking about opening it with a dinner between your character/some ambassadors and the Houraisan family. Most of the boring stuff like the establishment of trade could be done by this point in the meal, and the two sides could exchange stories, interests and stuff like that. It would have to be about suppertime in the rp, though, so waiting for now might be a necessity.

Im good with starting it up now and having them get to know the guy first. Then traveling together to the tree tomorrow out of curiosity. Vampunk Vampunk Your character should be able to feel the energy in the air. The humans would just feel....uncomfortable probably. Like the air was thicker. She would probably have to explain that to Havel though. He knows her under the mask right?
 
Basically, what I had in mind is: Hunt the yokai causing trouble for the village at night, you guys go to the tree in the morning, and later on, the Houraisan family extends an invitation to your characters. Given the fact that yokai encounters have been rare throughout the entirety of the province's history (except they'll get much more frequent now that they're making more frequent appearances), it'd make sense for one of the only known yokai in the province being slain to be a pretty big deal.

You know it. You guys kill some bandits on the road, and when your characters need rest in the evening, they stop at the nearby village.

Second rp in two days that I can possibly bring a character I made years ago but could never play! Tis very nice.

Count Gensokyo Count Gensokyo Yes that works, I was actually writing up a post now with my character on her way to the Hourasian household. I had written that it's basically a meeting of formalities to ensure that the long standing partnership between Mizumoto and Hourasian does indeed remain standing. I can time skip within my post and end it with them at dinner. Would the daimyo and his children, including Kaguya, be present?

Yep. Most of the family excluding the eldest son will be there due to him having important business to take care of. We can actually start with the meeting up of the two parties at the start of the meeting like you're writing now to have some introductions between the characters and then wait for an appropriate time to time-skip to dinner. If you're down with doing that introduction post, you can have it so that your character is just arriving with her ambassadors/guards at the entrance to the daimyo's estate, where I'll write up a warm welcome for them in the following post. Then, our characters can have their formal introductions and such, and when that seems to be wrapped up, one of us can time-skip to the middle of dinner. Sound good? Does that make sense?

Now that that's on my mind, how will time work in this rp? Should we all respect time relativity in the rp by only posting during the appropriate time of day? Since it's established as mid-day, should we all have our posts around the same time for consistency?

Hmm...this might just be me being a weeaboo and/or a nitpicky little scrub, but I'm not sure if pineapple was even grown in Japan or not.
