Hisune

General
Name:
Hisune "Shadow" G'trakeir

Age:
20

Gender:
Male

Species:
Half-demon

Appearance traits:
Has a blizzard tattoo on his back which can light up with full moon

Personality
Hisune never really got in contact with children from his age. This made him some sort of outsider, loner but also really independent. He knows how to handle a task alone. He is really close to nature, because of the living in the woods, and doesn't like if people hurt animals, plants or disturb nature.
Hisune can be hot tempered, especially against people he doesn't know that well, it leads to troubles most of the time. When people get close to him, they can notices he is really caring and always wanting to help.

In a group, he questions himself nearly all the time

Abilities
Being a creature of the shadow, Hisune is light equipped, he has some leather gloves and boots. For weapons, he has two kind of knives, a combat knife and a trowing knife. He is more skilled in trowing the knife than fighting close combat with it.
He is also able to disappear in shadows, which gives him a big advantage in woods, but a disadvantage in open fields or fighting where a fire is near, because of the light. He can move/bend shadow, creating a small wind with it but is still learning

Background
Hisune grew up in the forest together with is mother. He never knew who is father was, or what his father was. At the early years of his life, Hisune noticed he could do things with shadow, move them around or make them darker. The other children in the village nearby the cottage in the woods where he lived, couldn't do that. People called him weird, a freak.

From that moment Hisune barely went back to the village. One day, he asked his mother where his father was. His mother told him "Your father is somewhere else, he didn't wanted to see you" and gave him two knives "Train with this, maybe you will be able to visit him some day"

Hisune started to train, running trough the woods, from shadow to shadow, hunting imaginary animals. He learned how to survive, find herbs to heal him and read to signs the forest could tell him. In the eighteenth summer, he said his mother goodbye and traveled into the world

Prerequisites

Name
Hannun Nimzo'qauq

Age
Indefinite; Hannun finds it difficult to understand the concept of time

Gender
Male

Species
The truest of demons

Physique, Persona & History

Appearance

An improbably long, gaunt figure, easily distinguishable from the rest of the blasphemous hoards that cover the grounds of the underground caverns. He's usually covered in a thick veil, and oft bears the lean skull of a beast which he wears as a mask; something which both assists him in obscuring his face, all the while giving him a unique presence, as he seems to believe. He looks, when communing with the ground and the zephyr above it, as if a sallow tatter exposed to an expeditious maelstrom — quick and barely visible to the eyes. He has no discernable physique, so as to speak of, no muscle or whatsoever — this, however, shouldn't be relied upon when estimating his strength, which far betrays his appearance. He possesses bony and chitinous ashen skin — and from which, his ribs seemingly jut out — that resembles the thread-bare rags most beasts tend to be draped. Tormenting to the eyes.

As most demons, of either lower or median stature, are ought to have, he has hideous facial features; steely, glimmering slits which goes around as the anatomical structures he uses for observing, eyes as most humans like to call it; aquilian features, the cheekbones tapering along and about his reclining hair; long ragged waves, thorough and layered, resembling strongly a raven's feathers; an impossibly voluminous smile that covers a wide chunk of his face, lips thin and hardly visible; pronounced sharp teeth, and muscles straining and apparent.

Personality

Hannun, while not lacking in his desire to keep up with a tasteful demeanour or deliver everything with a modicum of panache, is a ruthless cutthroat with little to no compunction when it comes to deception and death; a trait which he coats, though thinly, with his sugary voice and faux docility. Despite his crude upbringing and relativity with the rest of the beastly demons, he possesses a wile that only few are gifted with and a loose code of honour — one which he but vaguely follows, often only resorting to a sordid sort of pragmatism. To a more stoic observer, it could alternatively be interpreted as subtle cowardice.

Hannun is an efficient user of various stratagems, and in general, a rather scathing individual; he is a formidable opponent when it comes to pursuing precision — having received a fair amount of knowledge from his various peers, and garnered even more by perusing the wilds.

Nevertheless, his cunning intellect far surpasses that of his fellow comrades, and the ancestors that cover the spans of his dumb bloodline. His sharpness and his superiority in the fields of subterfuge have gained him both fame and notoriety, gradually leading him to distance himself from the packs of ignoramus that so dwell amongst his place. This efficiency in artifice alone has twisted him into a being more self-centered and egotistical — plagued by sporadic bouts of delicate insanity and a general feeling of superiority over others — than most demons.

In fewer words, while Hannun might be remorseless in his venture for power and lacking a sense of fellowship, he's still a lot more refined than most demons, and in fact, may as well be more dense — having a strong deficiency, in the eyes of demons, in terms of having an affinity for mindless destruction.

Abilities

While often taunted as the weakest learner, Hannun's various schemes and ploys to earn power has led to him imbibing raw information in thorough phases, largely concerning matters related to magic. Rifling through tomes and pilfering opus' may seem a tad bit trifling to unwary witnesses, but to Hannun, it serves as a significant body for his abilities; and it is from such sources, that he has obtained his powers regarding the dark craft of necromancy and witchcraft. Taking terseness into mind, Hannun is exceptional at the art of bending the energy that flows throughout the world — he can also raise the dead, and control the enemies whose minds he had all but rendered sane and unbroken. He has also spent a better part of his time learning tricks relevant to illusions, which aids him in shrouding his more truer form.

Hannun is markedly fast on his feet. So much, that he oft seems fleeting above the ground — and to some extent, he can temporarily levitate off from the ground. As such, he's difficult to discern accurately from afar — mostly because he looks more like an aloof rag than anything.

Weaknesses

He has many deficiencies, and first and foremost is his lack of brute force and physical strength — this sickly stature has made him both a black sheep amongst his family, and a laughingstock amongst the less prevalent hordes. However, he's still more adept at combat than the average human.

He tends to get overzealous during certain times; furthermore, he's prone to indecision, especially during somewhat tense situations. He's also rather doubtful when communing with other demons — a result of seeing himself as peerless, even though he has a flock of peers.

Backstory

Hannun's beginning was sour, and possibly of the worst kind a demon could expect to have — his parents themselves were mere thralls, and didn't quite experience the demons' fateful expansion attempt. Their only job were to serve demons and pander to them continuously. Thus, and in simple words, Hannun and his brothers were cursed to a life of servitude, and a premature death if their misfortune happened to be so great as the many other thralls. To Hannun's luck, he was found to be too sick, even to consume, and lacking the great physique that his brothers were endowed with. Rendered the runt of the litter, Hannun was promptly abandoned.

His family had no use for him.

Hannun would've met his death at the ravaging monkeys — starving because of the severed ties to the world above — of the underworld had it not been for one of the more greater demons who roamed the barren lands. Maduk, as he was known by many, was less-barbarous than most demons and he had lived long enough to experience the great war and even participate in it — he was smart enough to withdraw when he needed to. Maduk wasn't a kind man, and he didn't rescue Hannun simply out of compassion. You see, Maduk was an innovator, and he also had an enduring hatred for humankind — so much, that he longed to break out from the cage they were imprisoned in, and wreak havoc in the human world.

To do so, he required several disciples.

First among them, was Hannun himself. He was to be trained, day and night, until he displayed the intelligence and cunning necessary for him to be Maduk's first and foremost apprentice. Even at a very young age, Hannun understood the weight of the opportunity.

And so, he went.

Maduk's hideout, a place carved and chosen with great secrecy in mind, was of the wondrous sort. To reach the den, one must first require the guts to traverse through the murky, treacherous crevice that guards it — though Maduk himself had a secret route, one far more safer, to his subterranean den — and then cross safely through the labyrinthine passage that secures the hidden valley from any curious pair of eyes. Though as blanched and sinewy as the rest of the barren lands, this particular place had a certain appeal to it — chief of them, was the lavish structure of the bronze monolith, ancient yet kept alive and clean by Maduk's daily attendance.

Few bore the fortune to see such a sight, especially in a chaotic land like his.

Hannun was assigned a room in one of the many minarets that stood guard behind the silvery monolith — it was cramped, and filled with books and a language he had yet to learn, but it served him right. And it was there, where he spent a good chunk of his life, tending it his daily studies and viewing the pre-sentient fauna that scuttled about the wiry, hollow trees. During his first years, as Maduk taught him his principle and guided him to learning the foundation of his studies, he learned of Maduk's source of power, and something that prevented him from resorting to savagery. It was a crystal ball with many faces and edges, and it shone with a glaring dark light — Maduk explained, and he did so carefully, that the instrument's primary purpose was to store spiritual energy.

How, a baffled Hannun asked, can such a thing be possible?

Maduk answered only with a cryptic nod, and made his way to his room — Hannun realized that he, apparently, wasn't jabbing at humour when he said that he was an innovator. Thus, with the strange crystal by their side, Hannun and Maduk stayed distinguished demons, though they rarely visited the outside world. The energy was difficult to consume and rightly bland, but it did its job, as his Hannun did his.

In this way, time passed by like a fleeting moment.

Once Hannun grew up to a more responsible age, he was given a modicum of autonomy; and once Maduk found it fitting, he allowed Hannun to traverse outside of their haven, to learn more of the outside world. As he grew up, he became as able — though, actually less — as Maduk. He became a more thorough student, gradually fostering his inner cunning, and resorting to thievery to gain various important pieces regarding witchcraft — Maduk oft turned the other way, however, he found it right to berate Hannun at certain times.

As he grew even older, Maduk garnered even more disciples.

It was then when Hannun, as he was traveling and pilfering, found Gahen who had discovered his dangerous act of thievery. Gahen was a cruel demon, who found pleasure in cannibalism and savagery, but also shared the intelligence of Maduk — and seemed to even know him. Gahen, stuck in his vainglorious monologue, allowed Hannun his window to escape. The greenhorn demon found the very presence of Gahen to be unnerving, and he felt that shit was about to go down very hard. He hurried back to the monolith that he lived in, afflicted with paranoia, and asked Maduk about Gahen.

Maduk apparently thought of himself as superior to Gahen, who was a past 'colleague'.

Hannun, not yet blinded by vanity as Maduk was, shut himself off from the outside world, in front of a very baffled Maduk. As time passes by, with Hannun growing even more delusional and stuck in his own personal world, the rest of Maduk's disciples grew. Eventually, Hannun was compelled to leave his ludicrous life, and joined Maduk in his many searches for a way to flee away this damned land. Even though he regained his previous composure, he was still troubled by Gahen, and Maduk's refusal to speak of him properly. Progressively, Maduk realized Hannun's unease, and decided to give him his prized book as a gift — as a means of calming him. Hannun made it a note to disguise his nervousness afterwards.

At a certain time, Maduk claimed that he had found the right way to escape; one he was sure would work.

The seal that was blocking them were already in tatters and failing in keeping the integrity of his objective intact. It was, however, unbeknownst to Maduk. Maduk sent his young disciples to a quest to gather the required items he needed for the spell — Hannun took no part in it. And when they came, with Maduk readying one last, grand feast, they bore a look of great, barely controlled hunger in their eyes which Maduk failed to notice, having shrouded himself in his vanity even further.

And it was, only a few hours before the feast itself, that Maduk's death eventually came.

All four of his disciples feverishly pounced upon the confused Maduk, tearing him limb from limb with whatever they could manage — all while Hannun stood witness, shocked. Hannun, after gaining back his usual sharpness, lurched after the crazed demons and slaughtered them with a ritual knife. He was sure, and he was rather sure, that it was the work or Gahen. If his theory was right, his position was compromised. The place he called home was now open knowledge to Gahen. He took one last peek at Maduk's last notes, learning though vaguely of the significance of his talisman. Taking a ritual knife, his book, and the talisman, he fled away to the boulder.

In his long travel, he never sighted Gahen; he must be toying with me, Hannun thought, playing with me.

Hannun quickly fled to the isolated entrance, covered by a boulder, and tried to do everything in his capability to open up a rift. Used the talisman and all, but naught came from his efforts. That was until he noticed a fracture in the spiritual shield of the great rock — it was his moment to escape!

Using the book, and the secrets held within it, he jumped through the sliver and ended up in the world above, brimming with life. It felt like a lucid dream.

Now, Hannun roams the lands seeking great power, all the while trying to learn of the talisman's true meaning, and the origins of Gahen.

Misc.

Inventory

Maduk's Talisman: An amulet — supposedly originating from more ancient demoniac origins — which he obtained from the slain corpse of his mentor, Maduk. Its base is composed primarily of a a pale golden triangle, seemingly argent and resplendent, with a rather large crimson gem placed tenderly on the centre, and fixed onto its place by various locks. Its chain, unfortunately, broke in the scuffle that took place before Maduk's death. Hannun has yet to decipher what it actually was meant for.

Ritual Knife: A slender, sharp blade usually used for sacrifices by the more 'civilized' demons. Despite its flimsy appearance, it's surprisingly hardy. Its base is an ironwood handle, coloured a deep shade of crimson which is likely treated blood. From the wooden base, extends a long strip of metal — similarly to the amulet, the blade is also tinged with a silvery hint. The blade, and the metal bindings on the handle, are decorated with ornate runes.

The Book of Ashes: Maduk's personal litany of verses and rituals — some he made himself, and others he obtained from various treatises — that he gave to Hannun shortly before his departure from the physical realm. It's covered, and bound, with the skin of a rugged hydra, scaly and tough against the environments. The pages clipped on it are imbued with magic that prevents them from rotting, should they ever be removed from the readily cursed book.

Extra:

Hannun is rather curious, especially of the vibrant flora & fauna that are scattered throughout the lands of the, eh, normal creatures. In his thorough studies of botany and zoology, he has obtained both a love for gardening and felines. He, however, has yet to develop an affinity for kitsunes or other human-animal hybrids.

He likes to commence rites, and lead rituals.

While he has a silky voice, it's more than likely to turn raspy when he gets more unfocused or loose. It's also, to be honest, an act of trickery. Most of the time, usually when communicating with demons, he's likely to resort to his normal voice.

He loves observing sentient creatures unlike his own. Unfortunately, he isn't tender or gracious enough to approach them, kindly and without evil intent.

Akane Hitomi
948f2f0bb25ac9ce75ada23880a83d1d.jpg

Name:
Akane "Crimson Reaper" Hitomi

Age:
387

Gender:
Female

Species:
Kitsune (Nine Tails)

Appearance:
Akane doesn't look bad for a woman who has lived for over 3 centuries. She has white porcelain skin, long, black, glossy hair tied in a ponytail with a fancy head ornament, and striking yellow eyes. She is dressed in an extravagant and heavily emroidered blue kimono that would not look out of place on the Emperor's wife. She would indeed not look out of place when accompanying such persons, if not for her other features.

Her white, fox-like ears and nine, long, fluffy tails betray the image of a high-class woman. The sword she carries with her, hidden in a beautiful sheath, would also make her stand out. Even if you were to ignore her unnatural features and weapon, one would not think of her as a meek and innocent maiden. The bloodthirst she gives off would make even veteran samurais tremble and her piercing and intense gaze is enough to make the weak faint. This however, ks nothing compared to when she srarts to fight.

Gone is the cold and elegant beauty, replaced completely by a savage beast. Her face contorts into a savage and hungry grin, her teeth elongated into vicous fangs. Her eyed gives of a crazed and hungry light, completely erasing the refined and elegant woman of before. She moves with unparalleled speed and agility, unseemingly hampered by her burdensome kimono nor her njmerous tails. She is a beast out for her pray, best not to get in her way.

Personality:
She gives of a refined and elegant feeling, one similar to a lady of high standing. While she is friendly and amiable, she has a tendency of placing people an arm's reach away, always putting on a cold exterior. She has a sad and melancholic look in her eyes, the eyes of one who saw many loved ones perish. She keeps people away, keeps herself from getting attached, in order to avoid pain and sadness. However, pierce through hrr cold and tough exterior, and she reveals another side of her, maybe her true side. She becomes like an overprotective mother, nice and caring and just a little bit nagging. She strives to do her all to make her loved ones happy, and she shares both their happiness and sadness. She would however do her very best to never look sad nor anxious, not wanting to see her friend be worried about her. She would carry the burden all by herself, not wanting her loved ones to even feel its weight. She will be a great ally and an even better friend.

All of this though goes out the window once she starts to fight. The cold and refined lady, the sweet and overprotective friend, both of these gives way to the vicious and ferocious beast. She turns bloodthirsty and seems to take pleasure in seeing her opponents bleed. She seems to take a twisted form of solace in seeing her enemies fall, showing that she is stronger and that, by extension, she deserves to live. She tries her best to keep this side of her under lock and key, especially around those she adores, but it doesn't always succeeds. Upon sight of demons or a strong opponent, the beast within starts clawing its wah out. This of course doed nothing but scare people away, save for her true friends.

Abilities:
Fox Fire - Akane can conjure nine, head-sized, balls of blue flames the gives off intense heat. Due to recent developments, the size and heat of her flames wrre reduced to half. This doesn't affect her much, since she doesn't use it for direct combat (more on that later).

Prehensile Tails - Her tails can serve as pseudo-limbs, with longer reach and greater flexibility. She can lift whatever her original limbs can handle, which can range from a brush to a sword. It was unusual at first, having to control numerous limbs simultaneously, but she got used to it after a while (A.K.A. a century of fumbling through it).

Illusionary Ten Sword Style (Sakkaku Juto-Ryu) - She has developed a rather unique and strange sword style. Using her nine tails to wield a sword each, in conjuction with the sword she wields with her arms, she is able to use ten swords simultaneously. Her fighting style focuses a lot of feints and distractions, such as making her fox fires dance around, to attack an opponent's exposed side. She usually makes fatal blows with the blade in her hand, but she won't hesitate to score an easy hit with the swords on her tails. Her sword style is more suited to a battle of attrition, making an opponent slowly bleed to death from countless cuts.

Excellent Swordsmanship - Swordsmanship is one of the fields Akane is very comfortable with. Her focus is solely on her own sword style, making her quite sloppy with other styles of sword fighting.

Enhanced Speed And Agility - Akane has especially honed her agility and speed since it suits her fighting style more.

Illusion - Due to her Kitsune lineage, she is able, to an extent, conjure illusions. Unlike other Kitsune, who are quite proficient with it, she is only able to, at most, conceal her inhuman features and slightly distort perception. She can make her tails seem more than they are, making it very suited to her sword style.

Weaknesses:
Her specialized sword technique, while having its advantages, also has a glaring weakness. Akane would definitely lose against an opponent with great endurance, since her fighting style focus on slowly wearing an enemy down. While she may be a master on her own sword style, she is at best average while fighting with one sword. Once she is disarmed, she's going to be done in by a master. She's also quite fragile, in a 3 century old Kitsune way, so she can't withstand and strong and direct blow towards her. Her peculiar side that comes out when she fights also poses a problem, the biggest one of all. It moves on instinct. Yes, that may be good in some cases, but once she is cornered or her self-styled techniques stops working, she would not be able to improvise or think on the spot and thus putting her in a precarious situation.

Backstory:
(If your character is hundreds of years old, then they must have been through a lot during their lifetime. So the older and more powerful a character is, the more detailed I expect the history to be. A 20 year old human and a 400 year old demon should not have similar length in history.
Remember, this is everything that has happened to them up until this point. Should be no shorter than one well-written paragraph. More for older, more powerful characters.)

Equipment:

Slaughter (Gyakusatsu) - Akane's main blade. It is a katana with a deep crimson blade with flowing patterns on te blade. The blade was forged by a master blacksmith, who through a complex method, managed to give it its crimson color. The blade recovers its wielder's stamina by absorbing an opponent's blood. It also becomes sharper and sturdier the more blood it drinks.

Sunburst Lotus (Akarui Hasu) - A set of nine swords forged by the same blacksmith who made Slaughter. The Sunburst Lotus are katanas of varying lengths with colors ranging from orange to yellow to red, all the better for distracting enemies. The swords could also release a bright flash of light, briefly blinding and stunning her foes. It's can also he used as a light source.

Miscellaneous - Smoking pipe, money pouch, a few snacks, some keepsakes.

Extra:
She really, really hates demons and even half-demons. She loves children and always has a few snacks for them.

Edric Yuma Edric Yuma Very well done mate. The only thing I will say is that her sixth sense ability will only work if those who are unfriendly are nearby.

Otherwise, she will need to rely on her normal senses. Basically, she can sense hostile intent. If someone approaches with no interest for violence or wasnt thinking about such things than she wont be able to pick up on them. The only exception to this rule is people who are naturally very dangerous. Characters like mine, who can kill others at the drop of a hat, despite not being evil, can trigger her sixth sense

Besides that, since using her knives exhausts her, I would assume punching also exhausts her. Since punching consumes more energy than swinging a blade most of the time (believe me I know)

All in all though, accepted.

Sure! That all makes sense. And yeah, I was intending for her to not use her hands except for like supporting herself when she kicks. Thanks for accepting!

[Name] Isas Shibahara

[Age] 67

[Gender] Male

[Species] Human

27ypxtj.png

Appearance
Isas stands about 6' feet 2 inches tall with a mesomorph build. His armor consists of a steel chassis and plating that covers him from head to toe. He also wears a black garb with red outlining on the outside of his armor. Behind the mask plate lies a face and body that is burned with scars so deep it would make you shriek in fear and disgust.
Personality

"Showing compassion is not weak, it is a sign of true strength."

Isas has gone through many changes in his attitude over the years but now has adopted a philosophical and open-minded approach. He does not view the world in black and white and challenges many views while still showing strong signs of respect, honor and compassion for both his allies and enemies even offering advice or help to strangers.

He also holds a soft spot towards younger people especially children, cuteness and child-like people.

Despite all of his nobility, he still holds deep hatred on people who had chances to become a person of good virtue but strayed on the path of immorality. This kind of scenario has crossed upon him many times in the past, mostly corrupted royalty.

Abilities
Isas has studied, trained and mastered many arts and weapons in combat such as Shurikenjutsu, Judo, Bojutsu, Jujutsu and Ninjutsu. With his armor, Isas is not as fast or nimble but his power lies in his close combat capabilities, strength and defense.

He is also a tactical strategist preferring to observe and understand his opponent's strengths and weaknesses before making his move. While he has to keep up with more robust opponents, Isas is always willing to put up an honorable fight to the death.

W
eaknesses

Isas is in a stage of old age where he doesn't have as much strength or stamina as he used to. He often has to deal with "old man" problems such as back aches, heart problems and breathing issues.

He is also more susceptible to heat due to his burned body underneath plus with the fact that he wears heavy armor that can help against blades but is ultimately weak against other heavy weapons like clubs and hammers.

He is also honorable to a fault where he would not attack an opponent nor kill them unless he had absolutely no choice. Not to mention that he refuses to use any sort of sword against his enemies making him resort to more non lethal kinds of weapons.

Not to mention he is just a human so anything imaginable can possibly kill him.
B
ackstory

"My past is what I've been through, it is not who I am. It has helped me but it doesn't define me."

Isas does not remember much of his past but only the parts that really hurt. According to what the people at the orphanage told him, he was born into this world as an accident due to a rape incident. Meaning he was never suppose to exist in the first place making him an illegitimate child. As he grew up, he struggled to live in the harsh world until finally abandoning his own morality by burning his whole entire town at the age of ten. He swore to never show mercy and to conquer everything in his path thus giving him the surname of: "Shibahara" which means "the flaming tree"

After many years of killing, cheating and conquering, he became a shogun of a powerful Japanese clan that ruled many territories, he used his title as a way to harass, terrorize and force people to obey him and his will. He fought many battles and won many victories.

However one fateful duel would ultimately change everything he stood for as he fought a lone samurai but lost to him. Realizing the gravity of his situation he expected death to swiftly occur but instead he was shown something that nobody has ever given him before: compassion.

Upon his defeat, Isas did not understand why the samurai did not kill him and over time he started questioning his own actions and reasoning to the point where he would again abandon everything he stood for and tried to right his wrong doings.

One night he decided to free all the prisoners of war inside the dungeons underneath the imperial jail however he was caught in the middle of the act. He managed to hold off many all the guards as the prisoners escaped but ended up defeated by the incoming men and was sentenced to being burned alive in front of an audience.

On the day of his execution, he was burned alive inside of a cage and tossed into a river as a sign of dishonor. Miraculously he managed to survive the execution and manage to escape the his former allies territory and head off to finish what he had started.

Inventory

A Bo Staff, his coin purse and his diary. Aside from that, he wears heavy armor that can take on a lot of punishment.

Abitilies
Isas has studied, trained and mastered many arts and weapons in combat such as Shurikenjutsu, Judo, Bojutsu, Jujutsu and Ninjutsu. He mainly uses stealth as a form of attack.

His body's current state forced him to rely more on agility, speed and reflexes rather than endurance and strength. While he may be fragile, Isas is capable of dealing massive pain onto his opponents, making him a glass cannon in most situations.

He is also a tactical strategist preferring to observe and understand his opponent's strengths and weaknesses before making his move. While he has to keep up with more robust opponents, Isas is always willing to put up an honorable fight to the death.

Weaknesses
Isas is in a stage of old age where he doesn't have as much strength or stamina as he used to. He often has to deal with "old man" problems such as back aches, heart problems and breathing issues.

He is also more susceptible to heat due to his burned body underneath plus with the fact that he wears light armor that can help against blades but is ultimately weak against heavy weapons like clubs and hammers.

He is also honorable to a fault where he would not attack an opponent nor kill them unless he had absolutely no choice. Not to mention that he refuses to use
any sort of sword against his enemies making him resort to more non lethal kinds of weapons.

Not to mention he is just a human so anything imaginable can possibly kill him.

Backstory

Inventory
Isas carries many tools to help him on his journey such as:

Steel Bo staff, tonfas, shurikens, a kaginawa (grappling hook), a cross bow, money and his most important item: a diary.

He wears a light steel armor that covers him from head to toe along with his black garb.

Zareh Zareh come on Zareh. Dont beg. Nist remove it.

Also, you claim that this man runs light but

"His armor consists of a steel chassis and plating that covers him from head to toe. "

This is by no means, traveling light. Plate armor in any form othet than gauntlers is not light armor. Especially if his main form of combat is stealth. I know pikachu accepted this and I would too if this was not a stealth based character. Also

"Steel Bo staff, tonfas, shurikens, a kaginawa (grappling hook), a cross bow, "

A bo staff composed entirely of steel is heavy as hell. I have even wielded bo staff with an iron core and even those are nothing to sniff at. Bo staffs also need to be adjusted according to the height of the user and your guy is pretty damn tall. That just adds weight. Add a fully functional crossbow on top of that and you've no longer got "light" build. (Not that it was one from the beginning.) Crossbows weigh on average 9 lbs and those are modern adaptions. Ancient crossbows weight 12lbs give or take and thats just the average one. Then we gotta talk about draw strength and the weight of the bolts, etc. Etc.

The point is, your character is not a "light" build. He's medium at best going heavy depending in how thick that armor is and forget about stealth. With how cumbersome his gear is, plus his age and bodily injuries, you can pretty much dismiss this man's chances of sneaking anywhere

Im not hassling girl lmao. Im just pointing things out.

Its just I know what works in combat very well. Anything from guns to what type of shoes would be the best to wear in what type of scenarios and in what era.

Yeah, going to switch him to a monk style warrior instead.

Wooden bo staff would be the best, would be nice if Aluminum bo staffs existed back then.

Dont knock it. One of fhe most dangerous melee weapons in the world is a quarter staff. Which is made of wood and nothing more.

If you want, I can give you some suggestions here. Take em or leave em.

A bo staff or quarter staff is versatile all around and can be used with a multitude of different styles. I wont bore everyone with details but just know its an amazing weapon even by modern standards. Shuriken are decent for range but dont expect to kill anyone with em. Unless you catch em in the throat, chances are they wont die. Poisons can rememdy this.

As monk styled combatant, I would suggest plated armor oved the shins and forearms. Not the hands and feet. This way, you can deflect and parry any blade as long as it isnt an axe or something. The plated shin guards also double as an attack instrument, giving some extra oomph to those roundhouse kicks while maintaining unhindered movement.

As for bodlily protection, leather goes along away and layered/ padded cloth has been renown as one of the best forms of armor that offer great protection without hindering movement much. Also doubles that its dyeable so it can stay black or red or whatever.

Tonfas are effective weapons for defending but not very good for attacking. Especially if you take the idea of armor I mentioned previously and combine with a staff? People are gonna have a very hard time closing the distance and even if they do...

Because you are going for more of a "my body is my weapon" type character, this is actually what you would want. As a martial artist I mean.

Its still not much of a stealth character but he CAN sneak around now at least. Si you got that. Just dont expect to be infiltrating any fortresses or anything.

Its got strengths and weaknesses but overall, balanced and practically unmatched in hand to hand unless paired with an opponent of similar skill. Which you have got quite a few of.

Girl you are overthinking all of this Imao no need to be so advanced and technical although this is literally set in another parallel universe.

We are literally in a rp where demons exist XD

I'll just stick to the bo staff probably an armored bo staff user. I'll think of something also I thought quater staff is an English weapon? Why would it be in Japan? XD

Why were you wearing plate armor and using a crossbow originally? Idk.

I dunno, Its 5 am now I can't think. I'm going to go now before I start talking like a psychopath.

I say weird things when I'm sleep deprived. Yay

Cross bows were rarely used in japan so that's odd. I'm having a crisis between reality and fantasy.
