Fantasy The Knights and the Dragon Brothers - CLOSED!

There is a maximum of six spots open, but we can immediately begin with the appearance of two knights, and the spots can be filled in over time-- just like a quest, characters can join in late in the game (as long as it is deemed appropriate and doesn't mess with the flow of the story).

1. A) Modern day; they accidentally fell through a magic mirror into this fantasy land, and hope that by helping the princes, they'll find a way to go back home. B) A squire who longs to be a knight, but is constantly scorned by their superiors. They hope that by helping the princes, they'll be able to use the experience to qualify themselves as a knight. C. Other backstory! Please run it through with me first.

2. A) Human, B) Anthropomorphic animal, C) Elf D) Inexperienced Witch/Wizard E) Anything else! Please run it through me first.

The Princes

• Name: Jiro
  Age: 20
  Species: Human
  Jiro is an intelligent, strong-minded individual who is probably the most involved in trying to find a way to break the curse. He is the third oldest prince, and the first one you meet before you agree to begin the quest.
• Name: Daiki
  Age: 24
  Species: Fairy
  Daiki is the eldest of the group, and by default, the one to inherit the throne despite his heritage. He is the most cautious and carries the most guilt; he constantly worries for the welfare of his brothers, as well as the knights. He sees it as his responsibility that nobody gets hurt.
• Name: Zayn
  Age: 18
  Species: Human
  Zayn is the youngest of the princes, but massively outweighs any age-factors with his brute strength and stubborn ability to keep moving on. He doesn't deny that his brothers are more 'beautiful' than he is, and tries not to let it negatively impact him.
• Name: Mitch
  Age: 24
  Species: Human
  Mitch has an easy-going personality that rivals Zayn, but he has the charm and flirtacious nature that his youngest brother will never have. He's flamboyant and cheerful, but carries a rather menacing dark side when he's angry.

  Species: Human
  Yago is quite arguably much more intelligent than Jiro, but more so in that he pieces things together much faster than he does. He notices the most minute of details with his fastidious need to keep things organized.

  Age: 18
  Species: Human
  Kev is the second youngest of the six princes. He's the risk-taker, but often dives in headfirst rather than think rationally about the situation. He was also gifted with a beautiful singing voice... but can't do it without attracting a swarm of animals.

Odette always admired knights, she thought they were strong and brave. She always dreamed of being one but unfortunately it was hard for her. She came from a poor family and a abusive father, who ended up giving her a scare which she keeps covered up. She is a very good fighter but because of where she comes from she gets mocked a lot and no one ever seems to give her a chance to prove herself. She feels like they know her skills but because of her status they refuse to move her up to knight. So she has decided to take on this quest and make them notice her and once she succeeds they won't be able to refuse her the title knight.

Brief Backstory:
Growing up Siorin was raised around knights, greatly admiring their strength and loyalty. The knights of her kingdom protected her many times, loyal to a fault. Siorin was born into a noble family. When she reached the age of 14 she ran away from her home, leaving her family behind. Partially because she felt the pull of adventure, but the biggest reason being that she did not want to be married off, as she was the next in line. She left behind all ties to her old life, aside from a small pouch full of trinkets, and a single note left to her chambermaid and closest friend Alisa. She cut her hair short when she left, and was soon brought into a band of robin hoodesque bandits for a time, and happened upon the rumors, and wanted to test her skill in becoming a knight, not unlike the ones who protected her when she was younger.


Her parents were rather controlling, and her siblings while friendly, thought she was a bit odd to be hanging around the castle staff. Alisa is three years younger than her.

Ragnfridr Winter

Ragnfirdr was an orphan that was taken under care by her master Brynhildr, a powerful witch. She was found starving and fainted by the road, when Brynhildr picked her up and brought her into her hut. She herself could not remember what happened that night, but she saw her master as a family and voluntarily became her apprentice. Together they were both scholars and healers, surviving not far from the forest. And Ragnfridr became a maiden quite capable.
Things were not quite easy for witches. When Ragnfridr go on the streets, few made eye contact with her, and there were whispered gossiping sounds. She tried hard to ignore people's clentching fists, and eyes of fear, and the mocking. But Ragnfirdr and Brynhildr were tolerated for their exceptional skills of healing, and even though some overconfident knights dare challenge them, they were not driven away.
One evening Ragnfridr came home to find two knights at the door, knocking and saying things most foul. They blamed an incident on all witches, and they were laughing with each other with vulgar jokes. One of them said that cursed princes asked for help, but they were no princesses, thus no endless fortune and power to come with marital, only fools would do the errand.
If the knights being rude to them and scorn them before did not anger her, these duol did. Not only they ignored a call for help, but for such petty and selfish reasons. She was going to cast spells at them, but Brynhildr came out the door and stopped her. The knights continued to harass them until dinner time, and went on their way with light footsteps.
That night Ragnfirdr made up her decision. If those knights won't take the quest, she will. It will improve the witches names, and most importantly, to prove those petty knights that she was more noble than them, knightier than them, and shame them if possible.​

Brief Backstory :
Pari is the fourth child of a dignified but not rich family. The Braveheart family owns a farm and has a simple life style. They traditionally send their boys to serve the king's army but Pari's father has no son. He has nine daughters and is already too old to wish for a son. Most of his daughters has married to families of the same status but Pari is some sort of rebellious child in comparison to the rest. She has no desire to simply get married. This girl is so ambitious and keeps reaching for high. On the other hand she isn't pretty so can't win a rich or noble man's heart to use him as a step to get closer to her desires so she dresses like a boy most of times and works like a man. People know the boy-looking Pari as Pete. She has refused to get married and become a house wife, instead she has joined army under the name Pete Braveheart and now is a knight. But this is not enough. She intends to bring honor to her family but can't do it under Pete's name. She needs to come out and shine with her true identity but people will never accept her as a girl.
Once, when she had joined some other knights at a dinning to celebrate their mission accomplishment, she heard a drunken old knight singing a myth about a bunch of princes being cursed and imprisoned by a witch. That song gave her the idea of going on a new adventure to take the chance of changing her life. She thought of so many benefits saving a prince could bring her;
1. If one of princes would value her bravery over her looks and family status and married her then she could rise high in society and her family would be considered a noble family. It would be a great honor and also made them rich.
2. At least even if they treated her like an underling she could get promotion and proudly announce her true identity and a noble and high ranked knight. No one dared to criticize a hero and the honor would stay with her family forever.
Therefore, she made her mind and soon started her journey toward the cursed tower to save some pitiful princes.

Yes, she is dressed up like a girl as she wants to do this self ordered mission as Pari not Pete.

Brief Backstory: In the Year 2018 the explorer Alexander Valentine is known as one of the greatest archeological Researchers, yet his wealth in nearly always Overshadowed by his Immense gambling debts. This wound up getting him in some serious trouble, when he Wound up owing 3 million to an African Warlord by the name of Dom . After being captured by the warlords men in an airport trying to leave Libya. He was forced to Egypt where a temple was found by by dom along the Nile. Traps within the temple prevented The warlord from making it into the temple so he Made Alex search the temple. It was in this temple that he found the magic mirror. When he touched it he was pulled in and Alexander K Valentine was never heard from again.

Alex did manage to get one hand gun past Dom and his men. It's a .357 Magnum revolver, unfortunately he only has six shots.

Species - Due to a curse and a witch, crocodile man
Brief Backstory - Fredrick Sol was a knight before the witch's curse had transformed him into the man croc he is today. Although it was not as if Fredrick was a Prince Charming figure type of knight, but more of a stone faced, stout and large figure who Lady Luck never agreed with. All his quests and exploits never worked out for him. There was already a knight with a princess in his arms when he reached the prison towers. The thieves had already left the village they stole from. Fredrick ,for the most part, never had a successful quest. Then he heard of rumors of a witch among townsfolk around his hovel. As he always did, he ventured of and confronted the witch, threatened her with his blade... It was struck short, if course, by a curse. Skin turned to scales, teeth turned sharp and jagged. Just like that, with probably a literal snap of the fingers, Fredrick had turned into a large, hulking crocodile with the witch nowhere to be seen. He went back to his village but was ran out by the people and has been looking for a cure ever since.

Backstory: AJ is a runway, in other words she ran away from home. Being the youngest out of four older brothers is a hard task for this fourteen year old. Her mother is divorced, and works two jobs. That leaves AJ with all the house work, cooking, and other major things. She couldn't take it anymore, and decided she would live her own life with her own rules. Bad idea. Now she's on the streets with nothing but a small backpack, and twenty bucks in her pocket. With no support from anyone she decided to become a Knight. Yes. A knight. She knows she's not strong physical, but she is very intelligent and quick to her feet.


What could go wrong? A. Lot.
