As some of you know, I've been working with a business consultant to make my art into a business---not just off sites like deviant art. Earlier this week, we discussed laws and how to keep myself out of trouble. As many of you are aware, it's illegal to sell copyrighted material without permission. This includes doing fanart for paid commissions.


I thought because I was not receiving any money from the fundraiser, it would be fine for me to do fandom pieces. This is not the case. Because there is a financial transaction occurring, I could be liable for copyright infringement.


To protect myself and RPN, I will not be doing any fandom pieces for this, or any other event. I know some of you requested fandom pieces already. I will get back to you so we can figure out an alternative.


I'm sorry about the inconvenience.


Tlr - due to legal reasons, I will not be doing any fandom art.
