The three pokémon trainers were standing on a line looking at the Professor. He smiled and gave a hug to them "You are all talented. I believe that together you will reach our objective" he smiles and gave to each one a pokédex and a bag full of food and other resources. Each one of them had their personnal bag but the Professor believed that they should have an extra bag just in case.


"Now then, be kind to each other and trust your friends." he smiles and opens the door of the appartment, showing the outsie, a beautiful green plain, with a forest far away.


"oh one more piece of advice. Do not tell anyone our objective. Darkness lurks in every corner" he says, giving them another smile and waves "Goodbye and take care of your pokémons"

Jessica Stood in front of professor Willow holding Sol her Vulpix. "I'm the most talented one of us three" She thought snickering silently to herself when the Professor handed her a new bag full of food, water, various potions and pokeballs, Jessica strapped the new around her back as her personal bag was more messenger bag like and hung off only one of her shoulders. Being the First to step out side Jessica took Willow's words of advice and nodded to herself. 


Sol nudged her trainers legs trying to get her to pick up the pace as they started to fall behind "Okay, okay I'll go faster Sol" Jessica giggled and started walking faster to catch up with Anton and John. "So are you boys excited for our mission?" She asked the boys once she caught up with them. "I for one am SO Pumped!" She added with great enthusiasm and fist pump for added cheerfulness.   
 
Anton nodded, looking vaguely concerned as he took the things Professor Oak handed him. He slid the pokedex into one of his pockets, and stared a bit confused at the bag, before sliding off his large backpack fitting the components of the additional bag into it. He then rolled up the additional bag and stuck it into one of the side pockets. He glanced quickly at his new companions. They seemed okay, though he rarely had complaints about others. He quickly lifted up his backpack, grunting as he got both arms into it and checked the pokeballs on his belt again. Jessica was ahead of him by the time he got out, and he started down the path after her, his long legs and fast walking style allowing him to catch up quickly. 


He smiled, mirroring her enthusiasm, and nodded. "Yeah, can you believe it? We're looking for the Legendaries!" Anton let a bounce add itself to his step as he walked down the path that separated the growing grains, the grasses blowing gently in the wind. He kept himself from looking forward too much and instead turned his attention to the people walking beside him. "Oh, your Vulpix is very cute," Anton noted as he saw the small fox-like pokemon walking near them. "What's her name?"
 
John smiled looking at his partners, they were all going to be together for a long time and so they should know each other a bit better. He looks at the Vulpix and nods "Yes you are right, it's really cute. Is it a she or a he?" he asks not really sure by looking at the pokémon's face. He then looks at his three pokéballs. He had also amazing companions who he could rely on. His Jolteon was fast, his Gastly had an amazing power and cubone was good in defense. He smiled once again before looking at the faces of his comrades. They seemed both nice and the girl was pretty. Team Valor, he thought by looking at her red hair. Since he was Team Instinct, the other boy should be from Team Mystic.


He tried to remember their names. Spark, his captain, told them but he didn't remember. Ant? No that was an insect... Antonny?  No he remembered it was shorter. Anton? Yeah that sounds about right! he thinks for himself, happy to remember the name. The girl started with a "J" like his name was. Jessica he remembered quickly. He kept smiling at both "My name is John! John Drake!" he says quickly "Hope we will all get along and have fun together!" he grins putting his hands on his white coat's pockets, a present from the Elder of his village. "The Mythical Birds huh? We don't even know how to start though" he admits but still smiling "Maybe ask someone from the police?" he asks giving them another smile.

Jessica Watched the boys and smiled as her Vulpix was getting attention "Her Name is Sol" She said sweetly to the boys before picking up the trotting pokemon who was loving all the talk about her. "I know It's gonna be a fun!" Jessica said adding the same bounce in her step that Anton did. "I'm Jessica Snow by the way" She adds with a sweet smile before Sol speaks up for more attention "You need to learn that everything doesn't revolve around you Sol" Jessica Laughs and nuzzles her Vulpix.


Jessica looks at John as he says they could ask the police "Ohh honey no" She says rather flirtatiously "The police never have any good information, the real dirt is always found at the bar" Jessica says with both a condensing and flirtatious tone. She walks ahead of the boys and turns around so she's walking backwards "I'll take you guys to my bar" Jessica says with a wink before turning around so she can see where she's going in the upcoming forest.     
 
"Anton Reed," Anton said, letting his eyes close as he smiled. "Yeah, I hope to get along with you all, as well," he said, tilting his head to indicate both of them. 


"A bar sounds pretty good," he grinned, watching Jessica walk in front of them. He paused as he stared off at long grasses, idly watching them bend in the wind creating the illusion of ripples and waves. The dirt under his leather boots was well packed with the occasional small stone. "I was thinking about that, as well. I was planning to look for irregular weather and unusual pokemon behavioral patterns. Wherever the Legendary Birds went, there's probably going to be some signs of that in the surrounding environment." 


Anton looked forward and up at the approaching forest. "So yeah, I think asking around in each town for rumours and stuff would be easiest. Maybe asking in a library or university, as well." He stared up at the tall trees, trying to make out leaf shapes and put names to them, and then back down as he nearly stumbled. 
 
John smiles at Jessica, oblivious of her flirty tone in her voice "I see... but we will have to be careful to not reveal anything about our mission" he says with another smile "A bar... well I don't really drink, or dance... Hope it serves water" he grins as he looks to Anton "Oh you are smart! Well you are from Mystic so I guess it's normal... anyways that would be a good idea."


He sighs "Library.. no way you two are going to catch me in there! You need to stay quiet all the time and it gets boring quickly" he laughs as he looks at the sky while walking "I can talk with multiple people. People love my charisma. Now a library? No way!" he smiles and thinks for a bit. "Hm maybe the birds hid on something familiar to them? Like a volcano for Moltres or an iceberg for Articuno? Don't know where Zapdos could be though" he says as they enter the forest. Since the trees covered most of the sky, the light clearly started to disappear and it was now darker. The forest was full of bushes and other plants and so it was difficult to walk in them. 


John smiles feeling pass through his face. It was nice.

Jessica let Sol down as they entered the forest "That's a Great Idea Anton!" She said turning her head toward the mystic team member "But I guess that's why you're Mystic" Jessica added turning her head away from him so she could watch out for roots and branches. "If you want Information about rumors you go to Bars, clubs, strip joints" Jessica told the boys "Those are places people with power hang out" She added while breaking a branch that was in her face "Why is it so hard to walk in this forest?" She complains as her long hair gets caught on some twigs and branches. 


Getting trough the forest kept getting harder and harder for Jessica because of her hair "I'm done with this forest!" She shouts yanking her hair loose from yet another branch stopping to take her hair out from her pony tail and readjusting it in to a bun hopping this could work. Catching up with the boys happened quicker than she thought. Sol was having fun darting in and out of the brush "Be careful Sol" Jessica warned "You don't know what kind of pokemon live here" She said not only to her Vulpix but also to the boys "I don't know about you guys but I'd rather not run into beedrill" Jessica added with a laugh.    
 
"I guess," Anton shrugged, breathed in the deep forest air and let it out slowly. "But there's a lot of stuff I don't know." 


He picked his way over tree roots and dead leaves, watching the ground. "Maybe somewhere where it rains a lot and there are a lot of storms." He thought about the kind of person John was and asking questions. Newspapers! He turned to John and said, "Oh, we could ask for information at the newspaper or pretend to be journalists when asking people questions." He carefully stepped over a weedle and checked around for unnatural rustling in the leaves. There were a few spots which he made sure to avoid the best he could. 


"Or a swarm of them," Anton agreed, nodding. He recalled some of his 'adventures' when he was younger, and shook his head to clear the thoughts, keeping a concerned expression on his face.

John smiled at them "Beedrils... I was actually planning on catching one" he grins as, with his arms, he would pull the branches out of his way. "Well Anton that is actually a good idea for him to stay" he admits while looking around and then turns to Jessica


"Hum... alright Jessica let me ask you something. How do you know about those places so well?" he asks wondering. He looked at the map while waiting for her answer. The forest was still far from over but they had a place to stay. A place where there aren't alot of bushes and they can actually camp.


He looks at his pokéballs. His pokémons should actually be hungry. He looked at them wondering if they brought anything for their partners to eat.

Jessica was nodding along to what Anton was saying while watching out for branches when John got her attention "Well that's because I worked as a Bartender for a few years" She says with a smile walking over to him "It was more of a night job while I was first starting out on team Valor" Jessica added while looking at Johns map from over his shoulder. "See any place that we can rest?" She asks putting a hand on the Instinct member's shoulder, really hoping that there was because she was starting to get hungry and she could tell Sol was too.  


Sol quit running in and out of the brush and was now trotting along her trainer "Here why don't you rest in your ball until it's time to eat" Jessica said sweetly taking her hand off John's shoulder and grabbing Sol's pokeball and returning Sol.   
 
Anton checked his pokeballs and looked up at the sky. It was still light out, though it didn't seem for much longer. He glanced around between the trees and looked for a clearing large enough for Tropius to move around in. The forest was still pretty dense around them. "Oh, wow, bartending is pretty cool. What was it like?" 


He stood on the other side of John to look over his shoulder at his map. He figured out where they were, still in the middle of the forest, but it seemed like there was a lake a bit further to the north, and a river further to the east. He held of on remarking on either, however, not really caring where they would decide to camp. He could adapt.
 
John smiles to his new partners "Yes I do see one place that would be good" he says raising his finger in the direction that they were walking to "If we continue walking like we are, we should reach it in 20 minutes. "There is a little lake we can camp next to. We can take a bath or even find some water pokémons" he says smiling "But it looks nice. I know we just started our adventure but there isn't other good place. The end of the forest is two days of walking." he says closing his map and looking around.


"If one of you knows a better way please tell me" he says smiling and looking at both "Don't be shy!" he chuckles.
