Futuristic The Intergalactic Rebels

Soluna

Junior Member
In this roleplay, you are an intergalactic rebel, trying to fight for your freedom and kill the Empress. Planet after planet, you fight through the cities, fields, forests, and caves. Anything to stop having to cower under a rock in fear. The most common enemies you'll have will be peacekeepers, soldiers, and dropships. All you have to do is shoot them in the right places. The peacekeepers have armor on most of their bodies, with weak spots everywhere. Soldiers all have powerarmor, and are a pain to kill without the proper equipment. Dropships... Well those are some tough SOB's. They need several hundred bullets and a rocket or two. The guns that we have are the GH-01 assault carbine, M1-01 sniper rifle, and the BD-6 combat shotgun. We have some utility knives, some drills, explosives, and that's all. Good luck, rebels.

1: No godmoding or being OP. Make some weaknesses

2: No controlling other peoples characters

3: No bullying people

I sat in my house, sharpening my knife, before reaching for the earpiece. "Are we ready?" I asked the other people.

"Ready is such a loose word, because I am always ready, for anything, you name it; JB Compton is ready." The sound of JB smacking his gum could be heard as he talked, "but I don't quite, at all, remember the plan."

JB ran his hands through his pockets to find his lighter. He didn't smoke anymore, but he always checked for his trusty lighter.

I sighed. "You try and sneak into that storage depot, while I cover you. Then you run in and gather up as much stuff as possible. Easy." I got up, picked my M1-01 from the coffee table, put my knife in its sheath, and made sure that all my explosives were with me.

"Your ability to reassure me will never cease to amaze me, Jake." JB sighed as he flicked the lighter open then closed. "How come you're not doing the sneaking part again? I hate fighting people!"

"Because you know where to put the explosives to blow the place sky high. And you can open doors." I opened my front door, and walking into the forest that surrounded my house. "I'll place a waypoint on the map." I said, swiping my fingers upward. A holographic map was projected in front of me through the earpiece, and I selected a building on the edge of the town.

JB looked at the indicated building, "You're kidding me? Isn't that their main supply depot in the town? I thought we were just raiding a small one!?" He walked toward the town with his backpack, empty and ready to stuff the explosives in. He frowned as if Jacob would be able to see him. "Am I getting any help besides you and your rifle? Like I said, Im not exactly a fighter and I doubt I'll be able to walk in like I own the place." JB didn't take his shotgun this time, he hoped he wouldn't need it.

When JB saw the building he walked up to a window in a local shop on the opposite side of the street and looked at the glass as if he browsing the inventory. "Im counting... three guards at the front door... Jake, I don't like this."

I got to a hill and got on my stomach, before crawling so I could see the whole town. I put the sniper on a bipod, before glancing through the scope. "Suck it up." I said, before holding my breath, aiming up the sights, and firing. There was a muffled pop, and one of the guards fell. I shot again, and a second one fell, a bullet through his head. The last one started to run away, but I nailed him through the chest. "There, no more guards. Feel free to walk in."

JB frowned more and hurried across the street. As he got to the door he looked over to one of the bodies, "Jesus, he's head is split in two." He held back the urge to vomit and clicked the door open with his kit and slid into the depot quietly and crouched behind a couple of boxes. "This place is pretty bare Jake.. looks like they must have moved some of their supplies already." He started stuffing his bag with the few explosives left. "They've got some ammo here, what types do we need?"

"Grab all of it. And hurry, we got some peacekeepers coming for your ass." I said, moving the sniper to face the wheel of an APC. I took aim, then fired. The wheel popped, and the truck crashed into a building. The peacekeepers hurried out, and I picked one off, before the others took cover behind the APC. "I got them pinned. Just get the fuck outta there."

JB heard the shots from the peacekeepers and stayed low and opened the front door just barely to peek out of it. The Keepers would see him if he tried to make a break for it that way. He went to the back of the depot and saw a window near the ceiling. He frowned and started to curse to himself as he made his way toward the window. He looked out the window, down a very long drop.

"Jake I can't get out of here man, the keepers will see me if I start to run and there isn't another way out." JB wished he had more friends at that moment as he climbed back to the ground floor of the depot.

I nodded. "Expected. Run past them. They won't see you." I told him, shooting through the windshield and blowing one of their heads off. "Two left." I said, before making a brand new hole through the others chest. "One."

Owen was sitting in the attic of a building that overlooked a guarded supply house. He was positioned by a tiny window, his assault rifle leaned against the wall next to him. As he watched the supply house he noticed a suspicious man standing across the street, talking, either to himself, or as Owen guessed, to someone on the other end of a radio. Then a shot. He leaned forward just in time to to see the target of the 2nd shot fall. before the third guard could run to cover he was hit. The suspicious man then crossed the street and headed into the supply house. Owen watched as a small firefight took place between an APC full of peacekeepers and an unseen shooter. Owen grabbed his rifle, rested the barrel on the edge of the window, and waited, ready to cover the suspicious mans retreat if needed.

The last guard cowered behind the APC, clutching his assault rifle and looking terrified. I slowly pressed the trigger, and the shot flew true. The man fell backwards, his blood leaking over the ground. "You're clear." I told him.

Lysa silently watched and listened to the situation that unfolded before her. She hit the gas pedal of the car she had stolen not too long ago, the blood stains of peacekeepers still splattered in it. "And extraction has arrived." Her soft voice sounded over the com-link. "Get in." She pulled up upfront and opened the door for a quick getaway.

"JB, get in the APC. Lady, I'll put the coordinates of where you need to go." I said, before the holographic map appeared before me and I selected a location next to my home. "Meet me their." I got my sniper rifle and slung it over my shoulder, before getting up and walking back towards my house.

JB poked his head out and looked around, "Man I'm good!"

He looked over at Lysa and winked as he opened the door to the APC. He sat there and looked around for the keys and found them on the floor, stuck them into the ignition and started the APC, "Well at least this doesn't look suspicious covered in blood and bullet holes. I should be able to fix her up at the shop." As he drove he saw the man with his rifle resting on the ledge, and stopped, he stuck his head out of the window, "Well you didn't kill me so you must be a friend. Want a ride, pal?"

"Fix her up at the shop? True there aren't any blood stains on the outside but on the inside?" Lysa looked around at her handy work while cleaning her dagger. "Maybe I did too good of a job... you might have to redecorate the interior." Lysa stopped talking as she realized that JB began to speak to another individual.

Sticking his head out of the window, he said, "Well you didn't kill me so you must be a friend. Want a ride, pal?"

"What?!" Lyssanna shrieked. "Would you stick to the plan? You can't just go offering a ride to whomever we see!"

He looked over at Lyssanna for a moment, "You're so cute when you get mad at me." He grinned and then looked back at the man, "Dont mind her, she's weird." He smiled to the man, and unlocked the car then looked back at Lysa, "Plus, if he is a bad guy, you've got your fancy little knives to hurt him." He smiled and pressed his ear, "Jake, we're picking up an extra. He had a gun and didn't shoot at us, so I think he's a good guy."

Locus had walked up the street and had seen everything happen. She hadn't expected that. She had actually hoped to have a nice and quiet day, but when she was Lysa in the car she couldn't help but smile. Seeing girl bicker with some guy she walked around the car and knocked on her window. "Long time now see." She smirked and got into the back seat. "Since I see that you are picking up random people, why don't you give me a lift as well?"

Lysa opened her mouth to make an angry retort but shut it just as fast when she realized that it probably wouldn't help things. It wasn't that she looked for the bad in people, it was just that she had been in too many situations that taught her that trust shouldn't be given so easily. She put her fist on her cheek and leaned her elbow against the car door. "Oh well, at least JB is right about one thing. In such a tight space with such a big guy in the back, I would be able to slit his throat pretty easily."

Lysa's morbid thoughts were interrupted at the sound of a female voice and the slam of a backseat car door closing. "What?!" Are you serious?" Another shriek was let loose from the small woman. Despite being glad to see an old friend Lysa didn't enjoy deviating from the plan, they should have been at least near the rendezvous point by now. "I think I hear sirens of more peacekeepers somewhere in the distance! Why don't we pick them up too?"

JB turned and looked at the new girl and smiled, "Shoot, how can I say no to such a pretty face? Im JB Compton, you can call me JB." He pressed his ear again, "Jake, make that two." He looked at Locus, then Lysa, "Sweetheart, calm your horses, I can outrun any of the peacekeepers and I know the back roads better than anyone else. So." He looked back at Locus, "How do you two know each other?"

I sighed. "Just start driving. And JB, we're gonna have a word about this." I told him, sitting in my house.

"Don't call me Pretty Face." Locus said with an angry frown. "Let's just say that I bumped into Lysa a long time ago and I stuck to her… Who the hell are you by the way? JB? What a ridiculous name." She laughed. "So what is your connection to Lysa?" Locus asked with a warning tone. "If you got her into trouble I'll blow you up."

"And if you do anything to JB, I can hunt you down and kill you in a multitude of ways. So don't touch my friend." I said over the radio.

"Thats Jake, he's my buddy." The sirens were getting louder and JB couldn't wait on the man anymore. He started to drive again, as he drove, he talked and it seemed as if he was paying zero attention to the road as he looked over his shoulder and spoke to Locus, "What am I supposed you then Pretty Face?" He grinned and looked back at the road and took a sharp turn, causing the car to go on two wheels before landing on all four again. "And I didn't get her into any trouble, Lysa can do that all on her own, I just like to help some times, because she'll walk in front of me occasionally and I just simply am in heaven when she does that." They came to an intersection with a blockade, "Uh oh." He slammed on the breaks, and put it in reverse, looking over his shoulder out of the rear window, "Plus, Lysa dont know it yet, but Im gonna marry her, ain't that right Doll?" He grinned a little and turned the car around so it would face away from the blockade. After a few more ducks and reroutes, they were out of the town and in the forest. He pulled to the side of the road, "Alright. We best ditch the car, the axles are two torn up, I can hear the grinding, it ain't worth the save."
