The Inn ~At~ Nowhere
When your tavern is located smack dab in the middle of nowhere, you'd think business would be pretty lousy. Not when that "nowhere" also happens to be the crossroads that lead heroes, travelers, and scoundrels alike to exciting lands of adventure. Thus why the inn known as the Moon & Mug has become the headquarters for adventurers all around looking for food, beer, and bed. In reality, however, it is a nuthouse for the numerous shady and eccentric characters that come passing through or have become regular patrons. Hell, some are even living here.
Running the joint is an old man who's been cursed by a former flame to live out the rest of his days as a talking cat and his nephew who has to juggle the insanity of it all. Good thing they have help from a staff of dedicated workers! But the staff here knows that the job requirements aren't simply waiting tables and pouring drinks. After all, with adventurers come trouble, and not the simple tavern brawl either. This is a land of magic and monsters. Unusual and fantastical things are bound to happen and it's up to everyone—staff and patrons—to make sure their little home away from home is still standing at the end of the day.
But all this craziness can't be good for your mental health right? Well, the cast of characters aren't the most noble or well-meaning people but at least they know how to band together for a similar cause... maybe. Misadventures await! It's just another day at the Moon & Mug.

This RP will revolve around the Moon & Mug and its staff and patrons. Naturally, you can play as a member of the staff or one of its regular patrons. Some patrons even rent out rooms at the inn so they're basically live-ins. The inn will act as the main hub but you are free to travel outside if you so choose to pursue adventures and stories in more varied settings. Because of the nature of the inn, it regularly attracts all sorts of trouble and shenanigans and it's up to the characters to deal with the problems. This RP may/will employ dark humor and does not strive for political correctness. If you easily offended, reconsider joining. But, it's all fun and games and nothing is really meant to be taken too seriously if at all. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
