Character Bio: Will ended up in Hermosa by accident, and got stuck due to the forcefield. He had dreams of being a cop, but decided to start a ranch in the outskirts of Hermosa, not far from the Olympic forest. He believes the strict rules put into place are unfair to those looking for a big future, and has become very aware of the fact that there are favorites in the town after he tried to expand his ranch, and in return got land taken away.
Appearance: Will is 6'5, with a lean build. His skin is suntanned, he has dark brown hair, and is eyes are hazel. He wears the everyday rancher getup, and has his "lucky brown hat".
Extra: He has a soft spot for kids, and believes that they deserve a better life if they're going to grow up in Hermosa.

Miriam stands at 5'6'' and weighs 134 lbs. Her hair is red/orange in color, long to about three inches past her shoulders, and her eyes are a deep chocolate brown. Her skin is fair in tone and she has light freckles on her face. She normally wears long dresses that are ankle length and have bell sleeves, wearing a nice jacket over it if it's cold out. She often wears nice sandals on her feet. Her favorite color choices in clothes are forest green, white, lavender and grey.

Personality:

Miriam is kind and soft spoken, but sometimes her curiosity tends to get the best of her and she has more often than not ended up in places she doesn't belong, such as the slums in the West Side of town. She loves to go on an adventure, and especially loves walking through the woods of the National Forest, and can be found there nine times out of ten if she's not exploring the town. She is a sucker for old classic films and music, and has a heavy interest in Medieval themed costumes and decorations. She is currently trying to convince the mayor to have a Renaissance Fair, but so far the mayor has ignored her requests. She may hold one on her estate without the mayor knowing at this rate. She loves to learn new things and despite being a socialite, she's not overl formal or stiff, but more laid back while still being polite.

Character Bio:

Miriam was originally born in England to wealthy parents, and from a young age she traveled the world with her family, getting to see the sights and try out so many things such as the food in each country. Her family had her homeschooled her entire life, and by the time she completed it they all ended up in Hermosa. They have lived there for a year now, and since turning eighteen, Miriam was given the estate in Hermosa while her parents moved to the tropics to retire on an island. She tries to go and visit them, but because of the mysterious energy field around the town she sadly can't go anywhere. She firmly believes this town is too strict and is trying desperately to convince the mayor to allow residents to have more social gatherings and more variety when it comes to movies being played as well as restaurants. Unfortunately she keeps getting ignored every single time, but Miriam is persistent and won't stop until the mayor listens to her.

Extra:

A fox has made its home in Miriam's backyard, and she likes to visit him every so often and give him tasty meaty snacks. She's named him Pumpkin.

She has a closet full of Medieval style dresses and shoes that she will sometimes wear out in public for fun.

She loves to climb trees and loves to soak her feet in the cool water of the streams in the National Forest.​

Eliza stands at 5'4'' and weighs 129 lbs, has peach colored skin and tends to wear a lot of denim (Jackets, jeans, shorts and skirts) and either regular T shirts or nice V neck shirts, as well as sneakers and boots. If she feels fancy she'll wear a nice light spring dress, knee length and very flowing. Her hair is dirty blonde and just past her shoulders by a couple of inches, and her eyes are sky blue. She does wear round thin-framed glasses most of the time, but sometimes she'll put in contact lenses.

Personality:

Eliza doesn't like to be coddled or protected, she's not some damsel in distress and she can handle herself well in a fight when it comes down to it. But by no means is she violent or aggressive by nature, she just has the guts to stand up for herself which has gotten her into trouble quite a few times. She hates seeing others getting bullied, especially by the mayor and her friends, and tends to help the person being bullied get away from the situation. She's opinionated and sometimes blunt to a fault, but she means well and has a good heart overall. Outgoing and friendly, she loves to make new friends.

Character Bio:

Born in Northern England, Eliza moved to America at a young age and lived in New York city up until she graduated college, going to school for creative writing as well as media and journalism. In looking for a job, she saw positions open far away in a town called Hermosa, which was on the other side of the country in Washington State. But feeling the call in her soul, she could not fight it and moved to Hermosa to get a position at the Hermosa Times Newspaper. She wrote opinion pieces for a while, and as she saw what was going on with the mayor playing favorites with wealthy residents while treating common locals like slaves with strict rules that Eliza found to be unfair, she wrote hit pieces on the mayor and her friends calling them out for breaking the very rules they need to abide by. Why should they get away with breaking the town rules but other residents couldn't?

Shortly after she wrote those pieces, she was heavily reprimanded by the Editor in Chief of the paper and she was henceforth forbidden to write any more opinion pieces. She tried to fight it, but it came down now to not only losing her job but facing punishment from the Mayor herself. Cornered, Eliza accepted her fate and is now only writing factual news articles for the paper. Though, some of her opinions very subtly slip through the cracks if one can read between the lines, which caught the attention of Basil Hawkins, the town's private detective. After meeting with her, she became Basil's contact within the newspaper, and the two exchange information as soon as they find out anything new on the mayor and her friends/allies.

Eliza has a pet dog, a grey and white miniature schnauzer named Gurgi.​

Appearance: Standing at 4 feet tall, Clark's body is covered in gray metal. He has two arms that end in claws. At teh bottom he has two pairs of wheels that allow him to move around. His head has a small hole where his mouth would be, which is where his voice comes out of. He has two eyes that can change color to reflect his emotions. Green is their regular color, blue means sadness, red is anger, yellow is happiness, and pink is love.

Personality: Clark is helpful and supportive, as he is programmed mainly to fill the role of an assistant. He can be curious, and likes to explore things that he finds interesting or new, expanding his own database of knowledge. He is very friendly, and he can be very selfless when it comes to helping and protecting those he cares about.

Bio: Clark was created by Sherman Miller in his workshop, and was programmed to serve him as an assistant. There isn't much to say about his bio yet, since he has just been created.

Appearance: Standing (or rather, hovering) at 4'3'' tall, Alice's body is covered in a resistant but elegant white-colored metallic alloy, covered in a thin layer of transparent hard plastic protecting her systems from being damaged by water. She does not have any sort of feet, and instead hovers a couple of inches above the ground. Her 'face' is a screen that displays two pixelated eyes. She has two arms that have incorporated laser guns, and are also extensible to allow her to grab objects from a distance.

Personality: Alice is very responsible and focused on fulfilling her objectives. She is programmed specifically to follow the orders of her creator, and the orders of whoever her creator tells her to obey. However, despite seeming cold and robotic at first, inside Alice harbors a sweeter interior that can show friendship, affection, loyalty, kindness and even love to those who become close enough to her.

Bio: Alice was created by Alyssa, and immediately established a link with her creator, obeying her orders and overall helping her in any way possible. There isn't much to say about her bio yet, since she has just been created.

Appearance: Standing at 6'6'' feet tall, Data is very tall when compared to most humans. His body is covered in a shiny black-colored metallic alloy, silver-colored arms, feet and face. He has two robotic arms that end in claws, as well as four other robotic arms that are initially hidden inside him, but can be revealed and hidden again as required. His face has a small screen with one large red circular light in the center, as well as an small hole below the screen where his voice comes out of. He has metallic legs and feet. His feet can be used for walking, but when moving at higher speeds is required, wheels will pop out of the bottom of his feet, and a jet booster will come out of his back, allowing him to easily outspeed most targets.

Personality: Cold and serious, unlike Clark or Alice, Data wasn't programmed to have emotions, and instead was only programmed to achieve the goals his creator has set him. As he has no emotions, he cannot feel anger, guilt, remorse, happiness, love or any other emotion. All of his actions are solely a result of his programming.

Bio: Data was created by Dr. Robinson to assist him in his goals. Since then Data has been following the evil scientist's orders, working for him doing whatever he is ordered to.

Name: Dr. Stephen Robinson

Appearance: He has an average height and body shape. He has pale skin, with ginger hair. He is usually seen wearing a lab coat and black or gray pants.

Personality: Dr. Robinson is arrogant, ruthless, cynical and power-hungry. He is self-centered and considers himself to be the greatest scientist in all of Hermosa. He is very inventive and resourceful, great at coming up with ideas and solving problems. He uses his intelligence and knowledge of robotic engineering for his own evil purposes.

Bio: Dr. Robinson loved science since he was young. He was actually very enthusiastic and dreamy when he was young, and was convinced he would contribute to society with his knowledge as an adult. However, he was severely bullied during his childhood, being called a nerd, and beaten up by several bullies at school. Stephen never really grew out of his resentment towards all of those who mocked him as a child. He studied until he obtained a doctorate in robotic engineering, and now plans to use his machines to show a world who once rejected him what he is really capable of. To get the resources necessary to keep up his investigations and machinery development, he has become allies with the mayor, offering to serve as a technological support.

Appearance: Tall and slender. She has a pale tone of skin, long, straight black hair that reaches about four inches above her waist. She wears large, black rectangular glasses due to her myopia. She is generally seen wearing a white lab coat, and black pants, along with white sock and black shoes.

Personality: Smart, analytical and well-organized, Alyssa does her best to get the job done. While she is somewhat of an introvert, and isn't exactly the best at socializing, once she gains enough trust in someone, she can open up to them and be a very supportive friend. She generally takes her work very seriously, but she's very kindhearted, and really wishes she could help the world be a better place.

Bio: Alyssa has loved science since she was a young girl. After studying robotic engineering and chemistry in college, she needed to get a job. She became Dr. Robinson's lab assistant. Soon she understood the mistake she had made. Dr. Robinson was a skilled scientist, but he had very different values, and didn't care who he harmed or even killed on his way to achieve his goals. However, Dr. Robinson has threatened and blackmailed Alyssa so that she won't quit her job, so for the time being she's forced to work for him, hoping one day to be free so that she doesn't have to work for someone as evil as Dr. Robinson is.

Appearance: Tommy has short, goldish brown hair, along with a light tone of skin, blue eyes, and a few freckles on the sides of his face.

Personality: Cheerful and energetic, Tommy loves to explore and have fun. He's very adventurous, brave and curious, a combination that leads him into trouble sometimes, since he can sometimes walk into dangerous situations unaware of the consequences. He is also nice, sweet and caring, and very kind and well-mannered as well.

Bio: Tommy moved into town with his mom when he was only six years old. Despite his young age he has definitely noticed a few weird things going on in town, and being the curious little boy he is, he isn't afraid to wander off and investigate for himself, seeing as his mother is busy most of the time. He is currently in fifth grade, studying in Hermosa Elementary School. His teacher is Lynette Darling.

Personality:

Publicly, Pete presents himself as a kind, wise, good-natured but somewhat simple-minded and accident-prone hillbilly. However, this is merely an act, in truth Pete is an intelligent, sneaky, selfish, hot-tempered and embittered individual, obsessed with reclaiming his wealth at all costs.

Character Bio:

Descended from pioneers who had managed to make a large fortune in one of the various gold rushes of the 1800's, Pete was born into a wealthy family in the Southern United States. Groomed from a young age to one day take over the family business, the McKennon Group, he attended various private schools and briefly served in the military, before joining the business in a management role. After several years he eventually became president of the company and enjoyed relative success. However in recent years, unbeknown to the public, some bad business decisions have left the McKennon Group in dire straits.

Pete has had to call in several favours and take out several loans in order to keep the company afloat. With little elsewhere to turn, he is now resting all his hopes in some old mining claims held by his family in the Olympic National Park that Mayor Sybil has graciously recognised. In recent weeks, the McKennon Group has arrived in Hermosa in force and have begun establishing operations in Olympic National Park, causing tension with some of the town residents.

Elliott stands at 6'4'' and weighs 200 lbs. with olive coloured skin and an athletic build. He has green eyes and his hair is brown naturally but he has dyed it pink. Like his fellow park rangers, whilst working he wears the normal forest ranger attire but generally forgoes the hat. Whilst volunteering as a firefighter, he wears the standard protective uniform. Outside of work, he generally wears t-shirts and jeans with a pair of hiking boots and a green jacket.

Personality:

Kind, helpful and a bit of a goof-ball, Elliott is generally well liked by all who meet him. He can be a bit of a mischief-maker, intentionally or not, although he never means any real harm to anyone. He cares deeply of his friends and loved ones and will do anything he can to help, no matter the situation. He has a soft spot for children and is very protective of them, Elliott will often befriend and look out for them, especially if he believes they have no-one else. Elliott rarely ever loses his temper, only ever losing his cool in the presence of those who abuse children. He is also an avid outdoorsman, preferring to spend his time out in the wilderness rather than in town and has been known to, often unintentionally, disappear for long stretches of time.

Character Bio:

Even though Elliot was born in Hermosa, he practically lived in the Olympic National Forest. When not at school, Elliott spent most of his free time there and enjoyed nothing more than playing hide and seek with either his family or friends. He was known for being almost impossible to find, virtually disappearing into the undergrowth, and only ever being discovered when he wanted to be found. With the national forest holding such fond memories, Elliott eagerly applied to become a Park Ranger as soon as he was able. He has worked in the role for the last several years and can be often be seen heading up guided tours for visiting school groups. In town, Elliott volunteers at the local fire department and has recently qualified to become a smokejumper, a role that has allowed him to combine his two passions.

Contrary to his Disney incarnate, David is a smart aleck who likes to stir the pot and enable, a bit cheeky and easy to go about on Basil's shenanigans.

Paul and Danny are male, Cathrine is female. They are 15

Appearance:

Paul is the tallest of the three. He is lean and scrawny, with auburn hair. His face is long, with eyes always looking bored and tired, despite him often laughing. Red is his go-to color

Cathrine is the thinnest of the three, she was a long neck and a long face. Her hair is long and brown, and she often seem expressionless. Her go-to color is purple.

Danny is the shortest and roundest of the three. His face is rather round as well, and he has a big smile. He colors his hair green. His go-to color is also green.

Collectively they are all rather pale and often wear masks to hide their identities (even though everyone knows who they are).

Personality:

Paul, Cathrine and Danny are the Hermosa school's worst nightmare. The three of them are vicious, mischievous and childish. If there are any troublemakers pulling pranks and vandalizing, it is most likely them. Despite not being siblings, the three of them are always together, moving as one unit. Their number one goal is having fun, and the number one way of achieving fun is through other's misery. School is definitely a bore to them all, so they do everything they can to make it more their style. (Poor teachers)
Paul is the acting leader, though he never listens to outsiders, he can follow the ideas of his friends if he has nothing better to come up with. He is the loudest and often acts cocky, often getting upset if people insult him.
Cathrine is the voice of logic, and is much smarter and collected than the others. Though she finds their pranks fun, she is a person who would rather spend time and effort into doing something spectacular, instead of doing something small and effortless.
Danny is the "little brother" of the group. He is often teased by the other two and is the most childish. The others are quick to put blame on him and push him around if they feel like it.

Character Bio:

Little is known about these three, where do they live? Who are their families? No one knows.
As long as they have been a part of the public, the three have been known for terrorizing the town. Is your house surrounded by toilet paper? Probably them. Did someone puncture the car wheels? Probably them. Did someone throw a rock through your window? Probably them.

They are pretty neutral in the alignments, but are more than happy to do wicked deeds for whoever can give them something back. What they take in return for doing things are usual services, such as not getting kicked out of school, permission to stay out after nine and never being taken in by the police.

Personality:. Tony Scozarri is a born salesman. At first glance he is a very charismatic, gregarious man. Often being called a real "Mover and Shaker", Tony is a great influencer, using his charm and cheerful, almost bombastic demeanor to make sales and pitch concepts to a variety of clients. Co-Workers often describe him as a calm, level-headed man in the workplace, often staying calm and planning his way out of even the most complicated of problems, almost like a robot.

In reality Tony, under the influence of a villainous Cog spirit is a more sinister, dangerous figure. Tony is a calculating, cold, uncaring schemer who will do anything to advance both his agenda and the agenda of the Cogs. He has absolutely no sense of humor, laughing at almost no jokes, unless they are dry, or rather boring. He tends to hate pranks and gags, and has been known to respond with an unusual amount of violence against anyone who would dare to prank him in the office. Like all Cogs, he often seeks to eliminate Fun wherever it is, and has been known to sabotage any fun activities that he can, often being called names like "Killjoy, or Stick-in-the Mud" in the process. In occasions when he "glitches out", aka when his Cog possessor unintentional reveals some of it's true nature, Tony turns into a blank, monotone, emotionless husk of a man who seems rather "inhuman" or "alien" to anyone who talks to him.

Character Bio: Tony Scozarri is a Senior Manager in the Harris Conglomerate's prestigious Sales Division. Growing up in Milan, Italy, Tony became involved with the Harris Conglomerate when he was hired on in the late 90s due to his advertising experience with a local car corporation to help pitch the "Venice Dream" resort to the city of Venice, which he succeeded in doing. During the next 19 years, Tony climbed up the corporate ladder of Harris' sales division, recently being promoted to the rank of Senior Manager. Tony associates this rise in rank to hard work and determination. But, he always leaves off one more important detail, his "possessor cog".

In the parellel world where all Disney characters exist, there rests a place called "Toontown." This town is the home of Mickey Mouse, his friends, and a silly race of creatures called The Toons. This place was once also home to a race of evil business-themed Robots only known as The Cogs. The Cogs were a invention of one Gyro Gearloose that went rogue and tried for years to conquer Toontown and turn it into a dull, grey, corporate wasteland. Among these Cogs was Mover And Shaker #154-b, an average Mover and Shaker Sellbot Cog who managed to avoid destruction for a long time. Eventually, The Toons manged to destroy the Cogs permanently, ending their threat to Toontown. However, while their physical bodies were destroyed, The Cogs found that their hardrives were still somewhat functioning, projecting ghostly, shadow-like images of themselves. Before they could use this however, the Cogs were accidentally pulled into our world by the Sorceress' evil spell, stranding them on Earth as disembodied spirits.

The Cogs eventually found out they could possess the bodies of the "fleshy humans" that surrounded them and began to plan a Corporate Takeover of Earth, finding the this world much more receptive of boring monotony then their old one. The Cogs then began to posses, or "inspire" as they call it, the bodies of various yuppies, lawyers, accountants, and other professionals and began to work towards the Grey, Boring, world they wanted. Many of these Cogs ended up working for the Harris Conglomerate, including M&S 154-b, who took over Tony's body while he was still in Italy. The Cogs seek to use Harris to further their evil agenda, but have to contend with Buy -N-Large, who is keeping a close eye on them so they don't try to steal Simon Dawson away from it. Tony is currently in Hermosa, trying to set up a Harris Field Office in the old courthouse to help sell the new resort to Hermosa, which he privately bought out months before the Resort was pitched to the Mayor.
Extra: Mover And Shaker can manifest in the real world as a shadowy, ghostly image of his true Robotic Form.
Tony speaks in a Thick Italian Accent.
Half of the emplyees in his Field Office are other Cog 3.0s, often of the Sellbot, or Cashbot variety, but with a few Lawbots and a Bossbot thrown in the mix.

Appearance: Tall, good body shape with a good amount of curves. She has fair skin, with long, black hair that reaches about four inches above her waist, and icy blue eyes. He tends to dress up very well, either a mixture of professional and attractive clothing, or dark and colorless clothes that allow her to blend in and camouflage herself when trying to be sneaky.

Personality: She's very clever, confident and a bit self-centered. She's intelligent, and cunning, and very persuasive, almost always finding a way to get what she wants. She can be deceiving, and isn't particularly known for loyalty or honesty most of the time, usually just teaming up with whoever gets her greater benefits. She has a noticeable french accent.

Bio: Michelle was born in France, but moved to USA with her parents as a teen. Her parents died in a car accident, leaving Michelle alone to fend for herself. She became a very skilled thief, but has also found a way to get by as a spy and a double agent. Basically she'll find two parties that are enemies with each other, and make deals with both sides, only staying truely loyal to the side that offers her the best benefits. She will then serve as a double agent, relaying confidential information to the opposing party. She's skilled at this, and along with her love of treasures and gems, she's been able to be quite well off despite her rough beginnings.

After a long day at work at the local pet store, she enjoys playing Elvis records and unwinding on the couch with her son.
Biography: Lilly was born on the big island of Hawaii to a single mother much like herself. At the age of 16, Lilly fell in love with the study of ocean life and began to pursue classes at her local community college. Growing up in the shadow of her older sister Nani always made her push herself to gain her mothers' approval which only met she did not have time for friends or anything outside of school. At age 20 she owned her first exotic pet shop called "Rainboa Exotics", things took off for her until she fell pregnant with her son Turo at age 23. Lilly believed she would lose her business and source of income. Days before she filed for bankruptcy she received a phone call from the state of Washington with a business opportunity. After finding a place to set up shop she and her son found an apartment in Hermosa.

Personality: Turo is pure chaos and mischief. He loves to learn new things and make friends. He is not shy in the least and will tell it how it is as all children tend to do. He loves to tell jokes and play pranks. This kid is very smart when it comes to getting into trouble and if something is happening you can almost best Turo started it.
Biography: Turos mom had him when she was 23 and he has lived in Hermosa his whole life. He cannot explore beyond the town and cannot understand why which makes him flustered at times. He has yet to be put into school but has a few friends that come over for playdates since he and his mom cannot leave.

CHARACTER'S NAME IN HERMOSA: James Marcus Hook

DISNEY NAME: Captain Hook

APPEARANCE:
Cpt. Hook is only 40 but he looks like he's 70. He looks almost like a caricature of PTSD. He has beady black eyes, which are sunken and hollow, usually trapped in a distant gaze. His cheeks are also sunken and pocked with burn scars. He has gray hair and a thick, unkempt beard that's matted with years of neglect. He's usually dressed in his military uniform, but absolutely DESPISES anyone mentioning it. The bottom half of his left arm is missing, so his left sleeve is tied in a tight knot where his arm ends.

BACKGROUND:
James Hook was born in Oregon in 1979. He always knew he wanted to serve his country, like his father Admiral Harlan Hook. This ambition was borne not out of a sense of patriotism, but out of a desire to belong in an organization - one worth fighting and dying for. He enlisted in the Navy as soon as he could and trained hard. Because of his hard work (and honestly, a little nepotism), earned the rank of captain very quickly.

Captain Hook ran humanitarian missions in the Iraq War. The Navy figured it’d look bad if the famous Captain Hook got injured. Unfortunately, it happened anyway. Per usual, Hook gave his men some time to mingle in a nearby village - talk, eat, laugh with the locals. One night, Hook and his men were all gathered around a bonfire, chilling with some locals. A sweet child approached Captain Hook and offered him a ragged crocodile doll. Hook accepted the gift - it was such a cute kid, and such a nice night, how could he not? - and paid the price.

Hook, realizing the doll felt too heavy, and noting the heavy ticking coming from the bomb, checked the stuffing. There was a bomb inside. He managed to throw it away before the bomb was detonated, but it was still too late. Four of his men were killed, along with one civilian, and several more injured - including himself. Having lost a hand, Captain Hook was deemed unfit for service and sent back home to Oregon. The Navy lavished him with honors and medals for his service, but all Hook wanted to do was serve. Unable to live in the same house as his wildly successful admiral father, Hook moved out of his parents’ home to Washington state.

Hook doesn’t remember why he came to Washington, or to this town. He hates it here. But he hates it everywhere. At least here, the bartender respects military and gives Hook some bottles to take home - and the Mayor is always so sweet on him, like she’s trying to help. But nobody can help. Not exact for that Frank Tarantino, who brings him booze every so often.

EXTRA:
Unlike his Disney counterpart, Hook is generally polite and still bears himself like a military man. A... very drunk one, sure, but he still calls people "sir" and "ma'am".

The discrepancy in personality comes from a simple fact: the original Hook was seemingly educated. I've taken liberties and decided that Hook's "soul" desires being an ideal leader of a group of fighters, no matter who they fought for. The Disney Hook found himself captaining pirates; Hook v2.0 was lucky enough to have a military father and thus became the "ideal" military captain. And now that he's failed, he's fallen into a deep depression.

Appearance:

Zàishēng stands tall at 5'10" and has a very muscular figure, making him look notably intimidating— his other features, such as his chiseled jawline and sharp cheekbones, only accentuate this image. He has dark brown eyes that oftentimes appear black, a short, unkempt head of ebony hair, and lightly tanned skin with few blemishes besides the occasional scar. When it comes to clothing choices, Zàishēng is almost always seen wearing leather jackets, t-shirts, and jeans, quite standard attire for someone of his time period, but his clothes have the distinct feature of almost always being marked by some form of allusion to Zàishēng's Chinese culture.

Personality:

Zàishēng is a rather distant individual, lacking very primary social skills which come in the form of creating close bonds with others. He holds a very harsh disposition, seeing everything as something that needs to be taken up with the utmost sincerity. He has a very hard time expressing his emotions besides his determination, which makes others see him as apathetic in the face of anything else; he is also very quick to discard his honest feelings in the name of doing things correctly, with no flaws intact. He has a very bent mindset as seeing people as either 'strong' or 'weak', and refusing to look past those two traits. Though Zàishēng is a very hard person to get close to, when he does finally warm up to someone, he is slightly more attached to his emotions when around them, showing kindness in the best way someone like him can, which is often through insincere sounding compliments— in the end, though Zàishēng has a very hard exterior, underneath his no-nonsense disposition, he's only a sincere man with extreme trouble expressing his emotions through an outlet that isn't some form of aggression.

Character Bio:

Zàishēng was born to General Yǒngshì, a Chinese veteran, who built his son to be the perfect warrior from the start as to continue the Yǒngsh family legacy. Though his father was never a bad parent, treating his son with the utmost care a single father could, Yǒngshì was very strict and Zàishēng didn't have much of a childhood beyond military practices carried out by his him, which oftentimes resulted in the child's physical overexertion. When Zàishēng was fifteen, he realized he didn't want to be part of the military, but he kept up the image of a warrior until he was eighteen, when he finally enlisted— however, after five years of active service, Zàishēng received an honorable discharge of his own accord. Zàishēng, though unsure why he came to Hermosa, has convinced himself he came to the town to avoid his father's disappointment at his discharge.

Nouvelle, of her own accord, has achieved the peak of what she considers the form of a 'desirable women' to be, being petite at only 5'6" and maintaining a skinny physique with a slight curve to it. She has smooth dark brown hair which she heavily maintains, brown eyes (though she wears blue contacts, considering blue to be the 'prettiest eye color' for a girl), and creamy skin devoid of blemishes besides a couple of moles located on her left breastbone and right side of her upper collarbone. When it comes to her clothing, Nouvelle prides herself on wearing the latest designer dress fashions, specifically blouses, gowns, and skirts, but anything that shows off her physique is a go-to for the woman, no matter the design.

Personality:

Nouvelle is deeply insecure and makes up for it by being vindictive and cruel as can be. She bullies those she doesn't see up to her 'standards', though her aggression is simply a disguise for deeply set jealousy. Her sexuality is her biggest shame due to the pressure Nouvelle's mother, Lady Tremaine, put on the girl to find a proverbial 'prince charming', so she tries desperately to impress men she finds 'desirable' while bullying any female she meets. A spoiled brat to the highest degree, Nouvelle fusses when she doesn't obtain what she wants immediately. The girl seems to have a switch in her brain that prevents her from showing any of her true feelings beyond her shameless need to find somebody to fall in love with her and provide her with what she wants; though under her shell Nouvelle still retains her traits of entitlement, she tries her best to be nice and shows love by getting people she loves anything they desire, as she seems to have no other way to express her gratitude for someone. Overall, despite having a highly unlikeable demeanor about her, Nouvelle is simply a girl who has been pushed to see herself as entitled and above it all due to the domineering force of her mother and seems to act the way she does out of fear.

Character Bio:

Nouvelle was born with her stepsister Anastasia Tremaine to Lady Tremaine; from the day she could know what was going on in her life, Nouvelle was trained by her mother to be the perfect woman: prim, proper, and obedient. Though her mother was never physically abusive, Lady Tremaine instilled Nouvelle with the fear that if she wasn't perfect enough to be wed, then she simply didn't matter to anyone, including Lady Tremaine herself. When Nouvelle was ten, Lady Tremaine moved her and her sister into Hermosa. Nouvelle, though initially completely against the move, seemed to suddenly accept it one day, though how she came around to the move is an addled haze in her brain. Though her life mainly stayed the same during her time in Hermosa, when Nouvelle was fourteen, she came to the conclusion she wasn't attracted to the boys: it was girls who drew her eye. Ashamed by her discovery, Nouvelle resolved to keep her sexuality a secret to keep 'till she reached her grave. From then on, Nouvelle remained Lady Tremaine's perfect daughter: prim, proper, and obedient. But even she knows something is wrong with Hermosa. She just can't place her finger on it.

Personality: Suave, intelligent and coniving, James Price, Lord of Galloney (Why? BECAUSE I CAN AND IT'S FAR MORE PRECIOUS THAN A PROFESSOR) is Basil's biggest challenge and by far Basil's greatest love (sorry, Dawson x Basil shippers). He'll do just about anything to see to his own ends, break hearts, steal, "borrow", lie and scheme to make himself more comfortable. He also is high on respect, resenting when he is referred to as "Mr. Price" instead of "Lord Price" BECAUSE HE FUCKING EARNED THAT TITLE, DAMMIT! Tends to have anger issues and dotes on what he cares about (which can be Basil when it suites him...or if he redeems himself) but that's mainly reserved for his kitty.

Backstory: Much of Lord Price's childhood is unknown, he grew up in London and (insert crazy Jamsil backstory TBD with Moonlit Wishes ). After abandoning Basil to return to crime, he did indeed retreat to Calcutta to enjoy time with his riches before opting to head into Hermosa, where he now plots against Basil and the no good Gypsy girl Jayde. Will there be a redemtion arc? WHO KNOWS!?

Other: He has a pure white fluffy kitten named Ivory, who tends to meet a groomer once a fortnight to be groomed. (PREPARE YOURSELF, DOUG!)



He is pretty damn pissy when someone accuses him of paying some dude on the interwebs $50 to own a square acreage of land in Scotland to technically become a Lord. (Jayde will be that sassy bitch and do it all the time.). He is a legit lord with a home in Galloney that he tends to vacation in.

Tends to ring a little bell he keeps with him when he wants attention.
