  Welcome to the modern world, except this may not be the one you are used to. Why you ask? Well one difference is that, before you knew nothing, and now you see reality, step through the veil into the horrors that await the night and fight your demonic parentage. That's right you are a Dhampir, half-vampire, and it is a Vampire that sired you. These are not the fragile beings you hear of in stories, these are demons in human guise, and they use their powerful magic, knowledge, and army of thralls in attempts to destroy and control the world. As the offspring of such evil, it is your duty to eradicate them and bring balance to this realm. It will not be easy, as the thralls that stand in your way range from the measly decaying ghouls to massive ogres, and worst of all the terrors themselves, Vampires. Do you dare partake in this quest as a member of the cursed breed? Do you want to see the true workings of your waking world? Then step right in, and try to use your demonic blood for something useful instead of getting killed.

  1. The Way characters will Work.
  
  
  Okay, so in short your character must be approved by me in order to participate in the roleplay. Notice that everyone is a Dhampir, which is a half vampire, and must have a demonic father that sired them. For more info check the Codex entry on vampires and Dhampir. Once you have a character sheet approved and your character is official and canon, then good.
  
  
  2. The Way story will work.
  
  
  By far the most complex aspect is the way the story will work. The main adventure is going to be divided into chapters, of which there will be around 12, maybe more if we need that much extra development. If you should have any questions take them to the OOC, I'll be glad to answer them.
  
  
  3. Lore, the codex.
  
  
  By now you might be saying, "Hold on that's a lot to process," and it is. To make all of the story stuff simpler to review and archive, that's why we have the Codex. The codex section contains all you need to know about the world thus far.

  1. Follow RPN rules in general
  
  
  2. If you misbehave I will kick you out make sure you stay out, so please be friendly to your fellow RP'ers
  
  
  3. Characters will die sometimes, that's how stories work, but please ask permission from the character owner before killing any of their characters.
  
  
  4. The RP is mature, which means we can all touch some more adult subject, but censor actual bad words and if any cross character action gets to be too much, then please just fade to black.
