Just adding my happy shock at being mentioned in the newsletter. I actually read it this time. smh

I added Urzoth. They're a bit of a work in progress--I spent way too much time on Pathfinder's shaman sights to have not used any of it. So if anyone has questions about their skills or suggestions...?

Oh, and Urzoth is a 'no' on the resurrection question

Yup! A lot of the characters are out on quests currently, but there are a few in the Guildhall on the main thread available to interact with. I’ve spotted a few new character sheets so I’m sure more will jump in later too.

Lol! I’m interested to know what history the veteran hunters might have with one another.

I’m going off their bios to see how Callan would get on with them, but when I’ve played him before he does find friendship in the most unlikely people (usually characters who wallop him one for some reason).


Because he’s a miserable s*d I’ll probably say he’s not befriended anyone yet, so it’s easier for me and he can build friendships naturally.

Barry’s current mission is to find the siren a hunting partner/friend. Then maybe he’ll spend less time at the bar bothering him. Haha.

Not terribly much has really happened thus far barring introductions and the beginnings of two quests. And as far as the two quests are concerned:

Ruins of Bal'Dak: The designated group arrives to meet the professor Hawkins. They pass through the Baylin's Wall only to be stopped by a scuffle between a wayward Calixtos and a group of ruffians over his newfound griffin companion, whom he's named Arthagus. Note that this group is currently being stalked by antagonists, compliments of me.

Holes: The designated group accompanies the local yokel Farmer Giles to his nearby farm. They discover that the holes (and by proxy, whatever made them), is larger than advertised. The group descends into one of aforementioned holes and are currently engaged in a face-off with the culprit beast: the Shaelmaar.

Back at the Guild: Introductions continue as some new (familiar) arrivals coalesce and consider undertaking a new mission that may consist of shrine purification.

If these count as spoilers and we'd rather people read to find out more, lemme know and I can nuke this post.

It’s still early days. Since the RP started only one day has passed.

The first day consisted of a few new recruits signing up to the guild, either by talking to Beryl (the guild master) or Stan (the bard). The characters chatted and some decided to check out the quest board and form teams.

The next morning after a quick breakfast the two questing teams set out on their adventures. The holes group are at a farm not too far from Colby, and the Ruins group were about to cross into the Wild Lands (but have been interrupted).

It’s currently just before midday. At the Inn some hunters may be setting out or returning from quests, or just hanging out and taking time off.

"OGHMA'S RUINS"

In the far east lies the Ruins of Forgotten Whispers, which was once a cavern of worship for several gods before it fell into disuse. Through visions, ARGIUS has seen that goblins have defiled the altars to worship their own madeup goddess, Taketa, who is seen to be the goddess of the goblins. Oghma sees this as a disgrace and insult, and wants ARGIUS and a party to slay the goblins without mercy and destroy the shrine of Taketa and restore the ruins to their former glory.

(Any loot found in the cavern is available to the party.)

Reward: 50 GP​
