Fantasy The Hunt Is On!

Vaskar half smiled at Lila as he gripped a hand over his chest. "I'll be in my bathing chamber." He hugged her and kissed her forehead. "You should get some rest." He spoke with a smile. Grabbing his sword, he walked to a red side door, walking inside and turning on the water. He sighed and pressed the button in the center of his chest to force several straps holding his gear together to release. He then pulled off his leather jacket and tunic. He stood infront of the mirror to show several large gashes across his chest.

William was restless. He couldn't sleep. He felt like he couldn't breathe. He went and krept slowly out the door. He jumped on top of the roof of the house and laid down staring at the stars. He began to breathe deeply and sighed while staring at the moon, thinking about his family.

After a long time of using herbs and wraps. Vaskar had finally treated each of his wounds and had scrubbed the blood from his wounds and body. As he opened the door, topless and rubbing his long hair with a towel. He needed to sleep but wasn't sure if he could. It had been a very long time since he had any visitors in his house. It made it feel like a home.

Lila

Lila sat on the couch thinking her head down, apparentlh she was thinking so hard she had not noticed William's disappearance. Vampires, Hunters, Kidnapping, So Much Blood... She thought to herself terror running through her eyes before she snapped to focus.

She looked over to see Vaskar she let out a blush." Y-Your done already? Wait, where is William?" She asked getting up in surprise.

Vaskar looked to see Lila bright red, as he noticed he was shirtless infront of her and blushed as well. "Sorry, I thought you were asleep." He then noticed will had disappeared. He held out his hand to Lila and pulled her up. "Come on you've fought sleep off long enough." He led her past the bathing room to a master bedroom with a very large bed and very antique hard wood furniture. Around the room hung several assorted weapons and paintings. He smiled to her. "Please sleep. If I can't find will I shall return. I promise." He kissed her forehead and grabbed a black t-shirt. Stepping out of the room closing the door. No vampire could get to her in that room. It was blessed and silver engraved fifty times over.

William stAred into the night sky. He thought back to the story that Vaskar first confronted him about. It was made up. He was ridiculed and beaten by his brother for refusing to partake in drinking human blood. His brothers spread lies around the world. William never sold out any vampire, he believed all living or undead creatures should live and peace and harmony and balance. Sure that may required vampire to drink human blood, but in the way they did it and to the extent they took it. William believed vampires had a duty to try other alternatives for they needed the human to survive not the other way around. But atlas no one thought the way William did. He was worried about the other vampires. He was worried about Vaskar and Lila and her friend. He then made a pledge to himself, "I William hart alone, shall defeat theses vampires. I have to find Lilas friend and then go off and protect everyone." For if there is one thing that William had come to realize in his 300 year young life, was that he was expendable. And the world needed people like Vaskar and Lila so he was prepared to die for them. "If someone has to go, it should be me" he thought and began to get up.

As Vaskar looked around the house he finally made his way to a balcony and climbed onto the roof, hearing William speak of saving everyone he slowly made his way to the top next to him. "Big words for a loner." He spoke in a calm voice. Holding a hand over his sword to shift it as he sat down. Holding his shoulder he looked to William and the sun beginning to rise behind him. "The lone warrior is a path you do not wish to seek my friend." Loosening the patch over his eye, he removed it to show a scabbed over pair of eye lids with three long scars across the top. Sighing heavily, he looked to his vampire friend. "You wish not the path I have lived my ally. Trust in a long exhausted warrior."
