Realistic or Modern The House on Beacon Street

@Annabella

You're getting me so pumped for this roleplay.
xD

So many ideas coming to mind for Erin.. *-*

OH YEAH. THAT REMINDS ME.

Don't we need to discuss how everyone's relationships will be like with each other?

If they've lived with each other for a while..
:P

I mean... it's kinda straight-forward with their personalities but yeah..

Well, tbh, Jonathan is Cyril's biggest fan right now(though he will burn anyone that says anything). And I am so up for Jonathan and Erin to be mortal enemies over toothpaste.

@KaoriMei @Trace

@AlwaysYours

To be honest, I wouldn't exactly see our characters as mortal enemies.
:P

More like two people who brush each other off with a hi and bye. Literally.

Jonathan and Erin are two completely different people.

Hard to explain.

@AlwaysYours

No kidding.

Just beware of Erin making fun of Jonathan being a witch/wizard.
xD

Maybe we'll say the Werewolf is our newest housemate? Everyone else, let's make some connections!

@Annabella I think Linus would enjoy spending time with Bip. She's sweet and seems pure which might give Linus some comfort, knowing that innocence is preserved beyond death. Maybe it makes him feel less guilty for doing what he does. I don't think they'd be great friends, but rather roommates who are in each other's good graces.

@AlwaysYours
If that guy blows up one more effing pot! Hahaha! I don't think Linus would get along well with Jonathan, but mostly due to roommate issues (rather than Supernatural ones). Linus's aversion to his own condition has made him somewhat averse to those who embrace their supernatural-ness (see Linus's opinion of Zeno). I don't think Linus would do anything to show that he's not the biggest fan of Jonathan, I am sensing a crap ton of passive aggressive behavior. :P

@KaoriMei Over the past year, Linus has probably warmed to Erin's sassy attitude and silly nicknames. At first, they'd probably be too different to be friends - maybe they still are? Has Erin every shifted into someone else to spy on her roommates? Or do something equally heinous just for fun? Because that would not fly so well with Linus. Otherwise, I see potential for possible friends.

@Trace Maybe when the two first moved into the house, they were bros. So they went to some overrated frat parties or house parties just to see what the fuss was about, and maybe during this time Cyril (poor Cyril) has zero luck with anyone while Linus shows off his game. There's no reason for Linus to dislike Cryil. In fact, he probably regularly encourages him to come out by offering to be his wingman. ;)

@AlwaysYours I believe Bip would be nice to your character, trying to participate whenever he makes potions (as best as she can with reading them out since she is unable to touch tangible objects) and feeling as if she were able to do something with assisting him. She'd possibly be friends with you despite your behavior.

@KaoriMei Bip would treat you like a sister, she has a certain attraction to those who are of an opposite nature than her and would always be there for your character if you needed help. She would possibly look up to you for your confidence and would respect you.

@Trace Bip is really interested in the area of feelings as she feels that she can not possess emotions anymore and would be inquisitive about your job. She wouldn't exactly appreciate the early bird behavior but she understands what it's like to never have something requited and could relate with you in her own way.

@Annabella Sounds like everything is copacetic between Linus and Bip. :) (But keep in mind he hasn't told anyone in the house yet about his actual affliction. Everyone, Bip included, currently believes he's just a merman who has special land privileges or some other BS he's concocted to explain why he doesn't have a tail. No one knows about the luring people to their death thing).

@AlwaysYours I'm cool with that!

Oooh, okay. I'll edit it.

Yeah, I think discussing general relationship dynamics or established events would probably be good. Also, maybe the order that people moved in, if it wasn't all at once. I'll just give my two-cents for now. I'll think of more stuff later, I swear. C:

@AlwaysYours Awww Cyril would be happy to hear that, tbh. C: Cyril is probably a regular at the bar that Jonathan works at. I mean coffee shop. He'll probably call it the bar for kicks. Also, he doesn't have any siblings of his own but he totally gets and admires that type of love and devotion. Cyril is close with his parents, even if they don't always have time with him because of their work and the distance, so while he doesn't have first hang experience he gets it and really digs that quality in people. Also, Roof buddies. How did that start? If he's the newest one...well, perhaps the room has been vacant for a while so Cyril's been used to being able to just use that window as a leverage point on his way tot he roof. So he ends up passing by Jonathan's window and, oh god, there's someone in there what. Btw, probably had a bag with his laptop, a portable stove, a blanket, a fold-up lawn chair, probably a whole bunch of junk that he's trying to bring up there. Cue awkward self-conscious staring through the glass because wow, probably not the first impression he wanted to make. Or something.

Also, Jonathan makes potions, Cyril makes smoothies. It's pretty comparable. No, it's not but Cyril might say that as a joke.

@Annabella I think Cyril will be particularly kind to Bip. He can't imagine what it would be like to walk in her shoes -- to suddenly be invisible to most everyone he knows. To him, that's heartbreaking, and while he's not going to make sad faces at her when she's not looking, he's going to be very considerate of her. He hopes that, if it ever comes down to it, that cupid's slingshot pairs her with another supernatural. He can't fathom what would happen if a human is meant to be with her. He’s seen a lot of heartbreak—he doesn’t want to see another one, especially to a person he knows.

@MidnightSoul He'd definitely prefer if she didn't leave her blood bags lying around the house. Please. That makes him somewhat queasy. If he ever hears her slipping out at night, I think he'll figure out what's going on and he'll probably stuff his face into his pillow and think rainbowy-sunshine thoughts. Killing for self-preservation isn’t something Cyril can easily wrap his head around and I think that, overall, he’s going to find that side of her frightening. Cyril also finds the fact that Rydel is immortal somewhat intimidating and most likely speaks very respectfully to her. She is much older than he is, after all, and, according to how he was raised, that dictates you a certain amount of respect. The fact that Count Dracula is her godfather? [i}Scary as heck[/i].

@Raphael Yeah, not washing his dishes--that's minus many, many points in Cyril's book. Eating his food? Also minus many points. However, Cyril cooks a lot of healthy food and mostly has raw ingredients lying around since he cooks from scratch all the time. Maybe that'll be a deterrent unless Zeno likes chomping on raw broccoli and onions and kale. Cyril's not afraid of him, but he obviously finds him morbid, dislikes what he sees as a terrible disrespect for the sanctity of life, and most likely won't go out of his way to talk to him; at the same time, he's not going to go out of the way to ignore him. Cyril might be self-conscious but he's no pushover. If Cyril thinks he looks down, then he's going to ask him if he's okay, and Zeno can shove it up his face if he doesn't like that.

@KaoriMei Depending on how much Erin makes fun of him—and for what—he might have been hurt by her barbed comments more than a few times. If it’s just a light hearted thing now and again, then that’s fine—Cyril’s got a sense of humor and a weird nickname is most likely not going to bother him. However, he can be a bit self-conscious. Her shapeshifting probably still startles him and if she’s walking around in someone’s skin around the house…he’s probably going to get all “arghhhh stranger danger!” up at her.

@Pluvious I like that idea! I don’t think, generally, frat parties are his thing, but he was probably curious and, well, St. Valentine’s servant might have business at a horny college party…right? Right? No comment Cyril’s problem with relationships is that he’s looking for is The One but he keeps bumping into people who aren’t so great for him along the way. It never seems to be the right time and the right one for him. While in a way he might be envious at how people flock to Linus, he’s not looking for just a one night stand—even though, honestly, Cyril’s had his own experiences with hooking up. They never make him feel good, however; often, he ends up worse off than when he started. Despite that, I do think he won’t be able to not feel self-conscious around him. The guy has something he doesn’t, after all. I can definitely see the wingman thing. Cyril might be a little mopey to him about his lack-of-relationship problems at times. Maybe they also run together occasionally? Cyril’s a stickler for fitness. Also, I think—if, in the future, Cyril finds out the true nature of what Linus does to deal with his condition, there’s going to be an interesting change in their relationship. We’ll save that for future talk though.

@Annabella Instead of neutral they can have an alright friendship, they respect each others privacy and belongings but also on some days they enjoy each others company.

@AlwaysYours Rydel would probably snap at him for always making up so many potions and probably testing them on the roommates or blowing up the house. She will enjoy seeing him do the spells though.

@Trace I think Rydel doesn't want Cyril to see the beast side of her. She doesn't want to scar him for life is he sees her with blood around her mouth and a dead body on the ground. So, if she ever has an urge and he is around she will force him to leave for his own protections.

@KaoriMei I think Rydel and Erin would be the best of friends since they both attack animals and have gotten into fights with them.

Yes. We can do that!

Aight, before we begin to make awesome blossoming friendships - which most of you have anyway, I'm gonna tell you a little story about why Erin made a deal with all of the room-mates to not shift into anyone related to them or.. basically, anyone the know.

Before dear old Jonathan (the newbie) joined the lovely crew, there was a young man that lived in his position, except he wasn't a witch... I have no idea what he was 'cause that's not that important. Anyways, continuing with the story. Once upon a time, Erin took interest in this man, who we shall name Bilbo for now. Except Bilbo had a girlfriend, unfortunately. Seeing the two happy and... well, enjoying their relationship made Erin jealous. Okay, I give up with the whole fairytale theme. Basically, what happened is Erin became jealous and one day, just y'know... a thought came across her mind to shape shift into his girlfriend. One thing lead to another, they did the humpty dumpty in bed and yeah. Pretty straightforward. He found out, flipped at Erin and moved out. Enter Jonathan.
xD

There you go.
^_^ Could have made that sound way better but I'm on my phone right now. Call Erin what you want, but she don't give a fuuuu- xD

I'm having too much fun.‎

BILBO'S NAME SHALL BE...

XAVIER. That's hot. :3

Yeah. You better snap, friend.

I kinda want Erin to be the outcast of everyone. Though having one friend won't hurt. '-'

I need to read through everyone's idea of connections... be right back.
