The Hidden Temple

I have decided you all get 3 in Awareness and in Defence because otherwise made very little sense.

And pick any Social or Mental Skill - choose a Focus. Don't add points to it, just choose a Focus.

Is there a more concise way to say "synaesthetic communication through light shows"?

Some helpful tips about magic in Mechanics, for our unarmed Bandi who will soon face threats a bit more durable than drones.

Speaking of unarmed, please all post here with your preferences for:

A primary ranged weapon, whether bow, rifle, flamethrower, rocketlauncher, shotgun, or something stranger.

A sidearm, whether any of the above.

A melee weapon.

Primary: Shotgun - Something formed into the palms, two barrels in each, something up close and personal.

Secondary: Rapid fire pistols, maybe sub machine guns

Melee: Whip with sticky toxic substance emitted, as usual always a fan of nemocysts

Added a focus to my Bandi, being Navigation: Spacial Awareness.

For a primary ranged weapon, I'm thinking something that can punch holes through walls. Long range, like a rifle or bow.

Secondary is something like kunai or grenades or summat.

Melee is a big ol' utility knife.

Primary Weapon: Rifle (assault or otherwise)

Secondary Weapon: Semi-Automatic Pistol

Melee: Axe

Utility Item: Explosives (Like C4 or Semtex, except magitechnical)

Primary: Forearm mounted bolt launher, basic ammunition type being an armor-piercing spike or shrapnel discharging cannister shot depending on the type of foe.

Secondary: Waist mounted chemical discharge system, backpack/soulcage fed. Primarily used to discharge poisonous gas made by the cage or a smoke cloud intended to jam electronic means of detection.

Melee: Wrist mounted oscillating pata, segmented blade that can be extended by a tether or collapse for combat in narrow confines.

Utility: Mimicry Parasite, able to rapidly grow and alter its appearance into a form resembling an individual the soulcage can provide adequate data for. Being entirely biological the inspection won't hold up very well up close or under sophisticated methods of detection. Can either be worn as a cover or deployed as a decoy.

Baksetra, Sauthogga, and Baskarmyna can meet up as you please. There's only one way out of that part of the facility. One obvious one, anyway. How you three approach it is up to you.

Let's see how many Jukari Sitara and Vulcanos have to mow down to get out....

Oh, @Blackadder if you could tack on a roll to your last post. Combat Pool, as much as you feel a need to use.

Hrm. Changing Skill specialty to more immediately applicable Investigation: Scene Reconstruction

Primary Ranged: high-energy laser beam that comes out of her face/eye

Sidearm: either rapid fire laser pistols or repeat-use flashbangs (can be set on time delay); stored in leg holsters

Melee: wrecking ball fists, flail arms around

That primary ranged weapon is actually a perfectly functional use of your Mana - until it runs out.

Giving you an actual laser beam rifle is easier.

These won't be upgrades to your 'cages - at best, they'll be linked for ease of use, but they're very much separate weapons as you may want to tinker or upgrade.

Prompted by the flash-bangs and grenades, let's add a utility slot. Pick a fourth item that isn't necessarily directly offensive, like flashbangs, breaching charges, or embrace the magitechnical bullshit.

Roll added.

Ahh. The mana-powered Blast or Bolt.

*ponderponder* Upgradable separate weapon? How much of Bandi are biological? Friendly fire could be awkward.

Primary Ranged: Sonic cannon; apparently this can be upped to lethal levels by causing an embolism

Sidearm: rapid fire pistols

Melee: knife or sai

Utility: flash-bangs

The stuff inside the 'cage is biological. Mostly. Outer shell is largely mechanical. Baksetra is something of an exception.

Single-target persistent debuff has two components - duration and intensity.

You can either spend Mana on it at a rate of 1M for 1 Round.

Or you can spend it at 1 Mana for 2 damage per Round, or 1 Mana for 1 bonuses/penalty to an attribute per Round.
