:: The hidden leaf village was calm and peaceful as usual. The law was kept tight, and it's residents were loyal and obeying. The villagers moved out with their usual activities, enjoying life while it is peaceful. But how long would it remain so? ::
 
:: this peace was instantly diswrupted in a commedic fashion, by a large smoke-bomb going off in the village ::


Ikuto: "get back here, damn you!"


:: a student who had been following Ikuto around had stolen a smoke bomb from his sensei, and used it in a prank, Ikuto chased the boy, with a towel around his head, tarred and feathered ::


Student: "hya-ha-ha-ha! you look like a... *OOF!""


:: the boy collided with a shadow clone of Ikuto ::


Student: "look... about the tarring and feathering... uhh... ahhh.."


:: the shadow clone and the origional smiled, but there was no humur in his eyes ::

:: a few minutes later, Ikuto was forcing the boy to paint the entire Uchiha residence ::


Ikuto: "you do realise, if you do this agin, i'm gonna make you do tyhe Hokage's builging as well!"


Student: "i'm sorry!"


Ikuto: "should have thought of that BEFORE you tarred and feathered me!!"


:: by releasing chakra from every pore in his body, Ikuto had already gotten rid of the tar... but he was still angry ::
 
:: Katon sat on a the branches of a tree in the village, his sword impaled on the ground below. He was reading a book based off of the history of the world, learning more and more about the gods that they all knew. Amaterasu was the goddess that he served, though he was not a disciple of the god, he lived life as if he were in fact a servant of his god. He was however interested in the other gods as well, and their servants. He began to read the final passage. ::


Katon: "Though the gods created the world together, no one truly knows if they remain allies today."


:: Katon sighed closing the book and looking up at the sun. ::


Katon: " Well, If the god's are against each other, I think it would be a big inconvenience to the world.."


:: He closed his eyes, relaxing as a cool breeze hit him. However his relaxation was interrupted with a messenger's voice. ::


Messenger: "Katon, the hokage has sent for you. Looks like there is a mission waiting for The Land of Fire's Sannin."


:: Katon kept quiet for a bit, staring at the sun again. ::


Katon: "I have a feeling this is more thank just a mission.."
 
::Ikuto had already carried the boy home, and told his parents what he had done, as he left the Nara residence, with the young Nara boy bieng scolded in the background, he noticed his old sensei ::


Ikuto: "hey! Yamanaka-Sensei!"


Yamanaka - sensei: "Ikuto Uchiha-san! how are you?"


Ikuto: "good, sensei"


Yamanaka: "please, drop the "sensei" i'm retired"


Ikuto: "i'm gorry, Yamanaka-sama"


Yamanaka: "AND THE SAMA!... look, i gon't want to think about my ninja days, i only want to watch my grandchildren grow up and to see my old students flourish... just call me "Takashi", okay?"


Ikuto: "thank you, Takashi-san, shal we walk? i have heard that the games shop has a new foreign game in called "chess" it is suposed to be similar to shougi, but just as old"


Takashi: "sounds interesting... i am curious of these far-off lands, their strange ships and "gun-powder" weapons."


Ikuto: "indeed, sensei"


:: as they walked away to buy a chess set, neither noticed the strange coldness descending over the village, many animals could feel it, but few of the other ninjas did... something was going to happen, and it would happen soon... maybe not today, maybe not tomorow, but soon ::
 
:: Katon had made it to the Hokage's office, they were deep in discussion about the recent mission. ::


Katon: "The Hidden Cloud Village huh?"


:: He said this as he stared down at a piece of paper given to him by the Hokage. ::


Kage: "That's right, you are to go there first and recruit the people we need."


Katon: "Then move on to the next country?"


:: The kage nodded. ::


Kage: "Make sure you speak to their Kages too, let them know what's going on."


Katon: "Will do, maybe they can point me in the direction of their finest fighters... Ill see you in a few weeks."


:: The Kage nodded. ::


Kage: "Be careful."


Katon: "Except those countries..."


:: The kage nodded again. ::


Kage: "I'm sure there are many powerful ninja who are willing to help. You have to find them."


:: Katon nodded standing up, putting the piece of paper in his pocket. ::
 
:: Ikuto was playing chess with Yamanaka-sensei hust outside the Hokage's building ::


Ikuto: "this game... it is nothing like Shougi, yet somewhat similar"


Yamanaka: "... checkmate"


Ikuto: "what?"


Yamanaka: "i've captured your king, according to the rules, you lose"


Ikuto: "ahh cra... hey, is'nt that the Leaf village's Sannin?"


:: he got up, bowed to his former sensei, and ran to the Sannin ::


Ikuto: "Sannin-sama! how are you? would you like to get some ramen with me? or something?"
 
:: Katon glanced at Ikuto and smiled. ::


Katon: "Ikuto you've gotten big. I'm sorry, but at the moment I haven't got the time for ramen, I've just been given a big mission by the hokage."


:: Katon was always cheerful when it came to his villages people. ::


Katon: "I'll be back soon, I've been ordered to travel to the other countries. We can have some ramen when I get back, promise!"


:: Katon nodded to Ikuto, but didn't much time to talk, so he continued on as Ikuto waved behind him. It was time to travel to The Hidden Cloud Village. He made it to the north gate, and continued down the path for three miles until he could no longer see the village. ::


Katon: "Well now, time to pick up the pace.."


:: He bit his finger and performed a summoning jutsu, summoning a large phoenix with golden red feathers. ::


Katon: "Pino, it's been a while since we went on a mission together."


:: Pino chirped happily. The chirp of a phoenix was raspy and deadly sounding, however Katon found beauty in the voice of a phoenix. ::


Katon: "Well i'm glad you're happy."


:: He climbed onto Pino's back. ::


Katon: "We need to head to the land of lightning's hidden cloud village, there are some ninja there that I need to get involved with."


:: The phoenix chirped again, and burst into flight, leaving behind a sparkling orange trail from it's tail feathers. ::


Katon: "Here I come!"


~Leaving region~
 
After Katon had left, two genin ran up to Ikuto. "Ikuto-san!" one shouted, obviously overhearing Katon speaking and hearing the man's name being spoken. A jounin quickly followed one of the older looking genin out of the group of slightly younger ones that crowded Ikute. "You met Katon-sama! He is legendary! You acted so casual! How did you do it!? Can you introduce us to him!?"


"Easy, tykes.... he doesn't even know you and you're overflooding him with questions...." the jounin said, the older genin walking to Ikuto, as if sizing him up discreetly while gathering up his rowdy and awestruck teammates. "Sorry for my rude teammates.... I'm Yoshiro Hitaki, this is Emma, and that is Tsubaki.... my sensei is," he motioned to the alleged jounin and sensei of the group. "You can call me Sora....." the jounin said, smiling at Ikuto.


Yoshiro bowed, knocking his teammates on the back to force them to bow as well to the higher ranked ninja and newly introduced person.


"So who are you? Do you know Katon-sama? Are you guys friends?! Is he your dad?! Uncle?! Brother! Oh my god, that would be so cool! Are you!? Are you?!" the questions came again.
 
::Slurping noises could be heard from a mile away as Reijin devoured his ramen voraciously; since he had decided to skip lunch for some extra training, he was completely famished. Plus, having to file a report on his recent mission wasn't exactly what someone would call "relaxing." After devouring his second bowl of ramen, he put his money on the counter and left the ramen stand.::


Reijin: "Whew...now THAT is what ramen should taste like..."


::Since Reijin had some spare time on his hands, he decided to take a nice leisurely walk around the village, looking at people walking by and seeing if anything new was happening::
 
:: Ikuto Laughed, and bowed to the gennins ::


Ikuto: "no, i'm not related to him... i just know who he is and he knows me."


:: he got into a comfortable squatting possition ::


Ikuto: "you see, even though he IS legendary, he is still just a man, and sometimes, even legendary people might just want to relax and talk to someone without them asking for their autograph"


:: he ruffled their hair ::


Ikuto: "hey, next time you see Katon-sama, just say hi, who knows... he may even play a game of baseball with you guys"


:: he smiled ath the gennin, then stood back up ::


Ikuto: "farewell, Sora-sama, please take good care of these gennin and make them as strong as a Kage"
 
The thought of Katon playing a sport with them sent the two genin in a fit. They tugged at Sora's sleeve childishly, which considering that they were roughly 14 was weird. "Can we? I want to play baseball with Katon-sama!"


"He's very busy these days... I doubt he could..."


Yoshiro looked at Ikuto. "Hey! Where are you going?" he asked, shoving his thumbs into his pockets.
 
:; Ikuto shrugged ::


Ikuto: "to find something to do... unless you wanna have a sparring match? or maybe teach these kiddies a trick or two"


:: he looked gown to the kids ::


Ikuto: "wanna learn a jounin-level jutsu, called "Kage Bushin no-jutsu"?" (shadow clown jutsu)


:: he made a clone of himself to show it ::
 
::Perched on the rails of the Hokage building stood the young anbu officer Corashi Hyuuga he gazed down below his eyes scanning the surface for any disturbances, it was a slow job, but someone had to do it::


Corashi{ Everything seems fine... Even though Katon left a minute ago....}


::Corashi was surprised at the fact that no fanfare gathered to see him off except a small crowd below.::


Corashi-{ He is Konoha's ace.}


::Corashi held his cloak and plummeted down to the streets below landing neatly on his feet::
 
Yoshiro couldn't help but laugh a little. "They have seen it and both have learned it, Ikuto-san..... our sensei taught them."


He couldn't help but show off in this one moment. With several handsigns, he moved his hand. "Come on. Hit me, Ikuto-san. Find out what I have learned with that Jutsu." at this moment, the genin was hoping the man who used the Shadow clone jutsu would hit him. After all, he wanted to show off the Lightning Kage Bunshin he had finally mastered with his sensei's training.
 
::Corashi stood up straight looking around the village he spotted Gennin and a man he believed was called Ikuto::


Corashi { So peaceful hard to believe this is a ninja village at all sometimes..}


::Corashi's ears perked as he heard kage bunshin no jutsu be said he directed his analyzing eyes at the crowd then began to watch with a all too knowing smile on his face::
 
:: Ikuto raised his hand, in a sign for "no" ::


Ikuto: "if we both had a fight in the middle of the village, a bystander could get hurt, maybe some other time, anyway, i'm going over to the Akamichi-clan's residence, they are having a barbecue, and they are inviting anyone who wants to come. You know what that means... "


:: imagine a room filled to the brim with Choujis... yeah, thats what... but with some women in there as well ::


Ikuto: "damn, i could go for a feast"
 
Yoshiro smiled, the two genin stomach's rumbling.. they were hungry as well. "Sora-sensei, can we go Ikuto-san?" Emma asked the jounin sensei of their threeman squad. He nodded with a laugh at their pleading cries of food desire. All three bowed to their sensei before he disappeared, leaving them in Ikuto's care for the time being.


Yoshiro looked at Ikuto, his Raiton Kage Bunshin being poked repeatedly by Emma in an attempt to find out which was which. Emma found it. The Raiton Kage Bunshin exploded in electricity, but didn't harm her too much. Her blue hair stood upwards and literally defied gravity, hovering up for a moment before falling down past her shoulders. Yoshiro laughed a little. "So when is the Akimichi barbecue?"
 
:: The Hokage stood reviewing his ninja reports and then made the decision. ::


Nagashima: "Hm.. There are still many ninja here that can help Katon when he returns... I must call for them.."


:: He handed a paper to one of his ANBU messengers. ::


Nagashima: "Send them to me.."


:: The ANBU nodded and then vanished. ::


Nagashima: "We will see how well they can do."


:: Within no time at all the ANBU reached the three Nagashima ordered him to inform. ::


ANBU: "Ikuto Uchiha, Yoshiro Hitaki...."


:: he then looked over his shoulder towards Corashi who wasn't far away. ::


ANBU: "And Corashi Hyuuga.. The Hokage has sent for you... "


:: The ANBU's voice then got more serious. ::


ANBU: "It is urgent... I suggest you get there as soon as you can. "


:: The ANBU then vanished. ::
 
Entering Konoha


:: Oh boy was Kaito excited. He could see the huge walls oh Konoha. It had taken him a day or so to travel to this primary city of the fire country, and for what reason? Well that was simple, Ramen of course! ::


:: Konoha was the source of the worlds best ramen, hands down. While visiting some distant relatives, he had the honor of experiencing their food. Hands down it was the best, even rivaling that of what Kumo could provide. Enough so that he traveled at least once everry few months to get a bowl. Though this day would not turn out well for him. ::


:: As Kaito came to the great gates, he soon realized that all of them were sealed tightly. After looking around, he saw no harm in opening one himself. After getting a nice grip and forced the door open with all his might. ::


"Raaaaaagh!"


:: With a swift pull, the door began to slide open. He let go and the door continued to open. Then as suddenly as it opened, 15 ninja appeared around him. ::


Konoha Guard: "Sir Halt! You are not permitted to pass!"


:: Kaito looked at the men strangely. ::


Kaito: "I only wanted to get in. "


:: The other ninja thought this request was weird. They only opened the doors when people were coming, and they had no request of a ninja coming. Then they looked better at the man and realized he was a Kumo nin from his vest. ::


Konoha guard: "Sir, We need you to come with us for questioning."


:: Kaito crossed his arms. This was not turning out good. ::


::All the ninja stiffened up when he crossed his arms. ::


Kaito: "Seriously guys, this is all a big misunderstanding."


:: As one of the guards came in to arrest him, he tripped on a rock and all hell broke loose. ::


Konoha Guard: "GET HIM HES RESISTING ARREST!!!!"


Kaito: "WHOA! What? Whos doing that..."


::Before he could finish. One ninja kabob-ed him with sonbon needles, acupuncture style, paralyzing his body, While the others bound him with ten tons of rope.


Kaito: "Seriously? SERIOUSLY? I Only wanted food."


Konoha Guard: "Gag him and get him into the interrogation room."


:: After gaging him, it took nearly 10 men to move him. He was a heavy one, but no one would invade Konoha today, not even for some ramen. ::
 
:: Toshiru was waiting at the ANBU headquarters when suddenly dozens of Konoha Guards came in with an apparent intruder. They dropped the man off in the interrogation room, then spoke to Toshiru about the man. ::


Konoha Guard #1: "This man is extremely dangerous! Not only does he weigh a ton, but he was trying to breach the gates! We saw him trying to slam them down. His stomach was grumbling loudly at the time too and gave us all a sadistically hungry look. This cannibalistic ninja needs to interrogated right away!"


Konoha Guard #2: "Yes yes! It's a wonder how we're even allies with the Hidden Cloud Village when they produce such vile and horrid ninja!"


Konoha Guard #3: "Get all the information out of that man so we can stop any other invasions the Hidden Cloud Village plans on doing!"


:: Toshiru looked from each guard to the other, a painfully annoying looking beginning to appear on his face. ::


Toshiru: "I'll... see what I can do..."


:: Toshiru turns away from the guards and steps into the interrogation room. It was a room with dark steel walls and no windows. About half-way up the wall a spiked trim was going all around the room's walls, giving it an oddly eerie look. Toshiru takes a seat in front of the Kumo ninja and observes him. ::


Toshiru: "So what's your name, Cloud droppings?"


:: Toshiru knew full well that this was no invader. Konoha had a very good relationship with Kumo, and he also knew that the Hokage had just sent Katon out to recruit some ninja - starting with the Hidden Cloud. They wouldn't send someone to invade Konoha. Toshiru was annoyed and tired of work though, and decided it would be fun to mess around with the poor guy. ::
 
::Corashi nodded his head at his fellow anbu officer::


Corashi" Roger that.."


::Corashi broke into a run. He grabbed the handle of the door to the hokage building and flung it open sprinting into the building::


Corashi {What could he want? I just got promoted to Anbu it can't be anything high profile.}


::Corashi shrugged then walked to the hokage's office. He slowed down regaining his composure before walking in. Though he was anbu and was expected to be near and protect the hokage he had never dreamed he would do this so soon.::


Corashi" Corashi Hyuuga, reporting for duty.."


::Corashi entered then bowed::
 
:: Kaito heard what the ninja's said about him. It was all so very inaccurate. He only wanted some of his favorite ramen. Was that so much to ask? ::


Kaito: "amhm cmn ifs nif ifses thafs"


:: His eyes showed his true emotion, that of being mortally wounded by being called a cannibal. He would of said something but his mouth was still gagged. Thankfully a guard removed it so he could talk and defend himself at least. ::


Kaito: "First off: I did not so much as nibble on any of them. Though if they had smelled like ramen i might have... Wait no... that's not right...What i mean is..."


:: His head dropped. He was so hungry, he couldn't even think straight, or talk straight! He tried to explain himself again. Even if the man interrogating him seemed a bit rude. ::


Kaito: "I come here, to Konoha, every couple months for your spectacular noodles. The doors were shut and i was ever so hungry. So i opened the door. Its not like it was hard."


:: Just then there was a mild creaking noise and then a crash as the chair buckled under the weight of Kaito. ::


Kaito: "Ooof!"


:: He made a loud thud as he hit the floor. Why did this always happen to him. Its not like he weighed that much. Laying there on the floor he finally answered the question that was originally asked of him ::


Kaito: "Murakami, Kaito."


:: Even in his particular situation he smiled politely at the man. ::


Kaito: "Pleasure to meet you."
 
:: Ikuto turned his head, to look at Sora ::


Ikuto: "it's the Akamichi clan, they have already started, can't you smell it?"


:: he sniffed the air, the smell of barbecue and noodles was strong in the air, Ikuto's mouth watered ::


Ikuto: "follow your nose!"


:: as the Genins ran off toward the smell, Ikuto turned to Sora, with his sharingan activated ::


Ikuto: "you wanna come, you can't hide your hunger from these eyes" he said, with a chuckle


:: Ikuto held out an arm, Beckoning Sora to join him ::


Ikuto: "come on, it'll be great!"
 
::The Hokage smiled at Corashi. ::


Nagashima: "Good to see you... Now we must wait for the others.. i wonder what is taking them so long.."
 
Yoshiro broke out in a run, soon arriving roughly a minute after Corashi. "Sorry, Hokage-sama!" he quickly apologized, a single bead of sweat rolling down his tanned skin to his brow. He bowed before the Hokage, not coming up from the bow untill the Hokage said he could. It was something that Sora-sensei showed him... though he never knew why.
