So one of the biggest things(if not the biggest) we've been getting asked for years since the site's creation is how to help the site more, become staff, or any number of similar based questions. So with that in mind we are proud to introduce you to:
The Helper Initiative is a new type of user that we have incorporated into the site. Helpers while not staff, are users who have a direct line to the staff and are responsible for and work with the staff to accomplish and improve upon core areas of a User's Experience on RpN. We know that there are many passionate users who care about this site and we hope that through this we can reward them with proper site resources in an effort to allow them to accomplish amazing things for the betterment of the entire community.
Helpers are broken down into several categories:
While we want helpers to fill a certain role, making it easier for helpers to find their place on the site, their responsibilities also include working with the staff and other helpers, for example BBCode Helpers might dip into the newsletter occasionally due to it is styled with bbcodes. That is where this will shine.
While I don't want to rant on forever I will leave some final points as any thing else can be answered via questions:

- General Helpers: Someone who is familiar with our functionality and rules, someone who can answer just about any question directed at them. Usually hangs out in introductions and site questions and information.
- BBCode Helper: A master of the dark bbcode arts. Someone who can answer just about any question in relation to the site's BBcode collection and how to combine/use them for amazing effects.
- Newsletter Helper: Someone who is decent at writing, likes interviewing, researching and just overall working on something that everyone will read
- Contest Helper: Coordinators of official RpN contests/events. Requires a lot of work and planning!
