Zoe started her day just like anyone else would. She got up from her bed and went into the bathroom to fix herself up for the day. A few minutes later, she stepped from a steam filled bathroom and waltzed back into her own room and placed on some short shorts and a tank top. She placed sunglasses over her face and grabbed her car keys along with her cell phone. She walked down the stairs and to the outside and immediately got stares from the neighbors, which she didn't care about. Most of them knew her job but she would deny it if any of them asked.

She plopped down into the driver's seat of her car and turned the engine while backing out of her driveway, hearing a car beep their horn at you. "Watch where you're going!" She shouted after rolling down her window. She sighed to herself before continuing on down the road. She went downtown and turned once more before reaching her destination. Zoe had got out of her car and saw one of her best friends that also worked at the brothel. "Hey Eliza." Zoe spoke towards her friend as they hugged and gave each other small pecks on their cheeks. "Hello Zoe. How are you fairing this morning?" Eliza asked. "I am fairing good. Yourself?" She replied while walking along with her into the brothel.

Eliza responded that she was good as well then they were approached by the owners of the brothel, Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln. They both smiled towards Eliza and Zoe as they hugged them in the process. "Good thing you guys are we earlier than usual. We have a twenty-one year old celebrating his birthday party here and wanted the best of the best to host." Zoe rolled her eyes as she smiled afterwards. "Well, let us go get changed." Zoe spoke towards them as she walked towards her room and closed the door behind her, leaning against it and exhaling before walking over to her closet and picking out an outfit to wear for the day.

After she changed into her outfit and put a little makeup on her face, she saw that she had enough time relax and that she did. She reached underneath her pillow and pulled out her sketchbook and colored pencils as she started to draw. Zoe felt a little different today and didn't know why but she hoped that she was going to soon find out.

This was his hellhole; Trip, after trip, after trip. Demetrius, his mom so delicately calling him Demetri, was standing on a stone slab, of course, doing his father's dirty work. He shook his head, his brown hair that did not dare move out of place stuck to his head like glue had been scrubbed all over it. As he spoke pleasantly about oil, people started to gather, listening in on the conversation. They looked like little mice with buggy eyes staring up at him like they expected the big rich man to throw them a piece of bread, some looked pissed, some looked calm like this happened every day.

The oil. Why was he speaking about oil and its importance to the worlds economy? His father owned a massive oil company that almost acted as an empire itself called KP or 'Kapa Power' it was based in India, where his father was from, yes Demetri is part Indian, where it started spreading out into other countries selling gallons. When his father got to Greece, he met Demetri's mother, Juno. They married quite quick, and therefore the next heir of the oil company was born.

Anyhow. Demetri was standing on the stone slab speaking, once he saw that he sold enough people on oil, he hopped off the slab, looking around at his surroundings. He had to admit, Scotland looked very beautiful, his eyes flickered to a man in a suit,

"Ah," Demetri said, approaching him, "Mr. Vince, is it now time to go to the hotel? Or does my father have something else planned?" His voice had a bit of a velvety sound to it, it spoke with smooth unfaultered words. Which was rather weird for a guy who was generally quiet outside of business work.

The squatty man looked Demetri warily,

"No sir," He said, "Hotel it is," A sly smile appeared on the heir's face,

"Very well, let us be on our way." The two passed by the cranky, upset people and the happy, excited ones, Demetri trailing ahead of Vince. He reached the slim black car and watched as Vince opened the door for him. Demetri gave a nod of approval before sliding in and adjusting his tie, for once maybe he'd be able to get some alone time in the hotel.

She continued to sketch in her book until the bell dinged for herself and the other ladies to come forth to be introduced to a customer. She hated this more than anything but it paid well so why not work there. She placed her sketchbook back underneath her pillow and stood up with a sigh as she reviewed over herself in the mirror. After a nod of approval, she exited her room and walked down the hallway and towards the front. She wasn't in no real hurry to get there.

Zoe stood next to Eliza and smiled then eyed the customer as all the ladies introduced themselves. The customer made his selection, which thankfully it wasn't her so she could go back and sketch in her book but was stopped by Mr. Lincoln. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked towards Zoe, who was a little confused by the question as she nodded while speaking. "Yes Sir. Why would you ask?" Mr. Lincoln sat down in a car at the bar. "I don't know. Your introduction seemed a little unhappy this time around."

Zoe walked over to him and sat down as well. "I'm fine, Mr. Lincoln. Just some personal stuff going on." She smiled while getting up and looked at him as he did nothing but wave her off. Zoe was quite relieved that she could go back to her room and she didn't have to mingle with the other ladies. She felt really comfortable being by herself anyway.

She stumbled back into her room and closed the door then walked back over to her bed, sitting on the edge. Before she could even have a chance to grab her sketchbook again, the bell dinged. She face-planted herself on her pillow then got right back up and exited her room while walking back down the hallway.

Her eyes gleamed up at the male and she smiled brightly as he could be her ticket out of here. He had a driver, dressed much more sophisticated and even had a nice demeanor about himself. She made sure she had the right posture and tone when it came time for her to be introduced. "Hi, I'm Zoe and I would love to tempt you today." She giggled softly after her introduction and continued to smile brightly.

She spoke towards Eliza through clenched teeth. "If this suitor doesn't pick me, I swear I'll break his face in." Eliza chuckled a little as they continued to stand there, waiting for the male to pick his lady for however long he likes.

(It's okay xD Was just wondering)

His eyes looked out the window, his leg neatly crossed over his lap. Demetri's eyebrows scrunched together when Vince drove pass the big hotel and down the street. The man shifted his weight when the black car skittered to a hault in front of some place Demetri couldn't put a name on. Vince helped him out and the man grew angry,

"What the hell?" He sputtered, "I was told we were going to the hotel!"

"This is the hotel sir," Vince said, "Your father said it's time to pick the woman of the company," Demetri's eyes burned,

"This isn't a hotel, it looks like some losers dump!" He said, "Where loners go!"

"Sir, these girls need help..." Vince said warily, "Your father wants you to find one here..." The squatty man pulled out an envelope from his pocket, "He told me to give this to you,"

Demetri's fingertips met the yellow colored paper and he ripped through it. He pulled out the folded lined paper and opened the folds, smoothing it out before reading it. His heart seemed to stop;

Dear Demetrius,

Here is where you will meet your bride. One who will help you succeed in life, when you marry, you will go to the United States where I want you to expand KP and spend the life you want with all expenses paid trip there.

- Dad

P.S Your mother has passed away, the disease that I told you about has taken her life from us.

Bitterly, he crumbled it up and thrusted it into the face of Vince's,

"Get the hell away from me!" He shrieked. His eyes narrowed and grew cold as he turned away. He walked toward the door.. Might as well see what was to offer while he was there. Just as his fist knocked at the door, the door seemed to swing open, causing him to jump for a moment. His voice grew scarily calm,

"Zoe?" He said, "Interesting name... I'm Demetrius Ramanishka,"

The male questioned her name at first then said that it was an interesting name. She giggled softly while parting her lips to speak but was cut off by Mrs. Lincoln, who came by her side. "She is very special. One of our best." Mrs. Lincoln eyed the gentlemen named Demetrius with a smile as she looked up at Zoe. "Why don't you go and show him your many talents." Mrs. Lincoln spoke towards Zoe, who nodded with a smile as she grabbed the hand of Demetrius and began the trek towards her room.

She would sit him down on the bed and whisper that she'll be back in one moment in his ear. She scurried towards the door and exited her room, going immediately over towards Eliza's. She knocked repeatedly on the door until she answered, busting herself through the door as she circled around with her arms outstretched and a lovely hum coming from her. "Someone is happy." Eliza spoke while closing her door a little.

"He's here. He is my ticket out of here. I can feel it." Zoe plopped down on Eliza's bed with a smile. Eliza had her arms folded over her chest and nodded. "If you do get out of here. You be careful out there." She said while walking over and sitting beside her. "I will, Eliza. Thank you." She gave Eliza a tight squeeze of a hug then raised up to her feet, exiting the room and going back towards her own, where Demetrius was waiting.

"Sorry about that." She spoke clearly enough for him to hear as she walked over and sat down on the bed. "So, tell me, what brings you here? You're certainly not dressed for a brothel." She laughed while taking off her shoes and sitting Indian style on the bed, waiting to hear his answer. She pulled out her sketchbook in the process and started to draw.

"Very special indeed," Demetri said, smoothing himself down as he stepped on in to the house, taken by surprise when his hand was taken by the girl. Well.... He thought. Might actually be worth it. He allowed the girl to tug him along, noticing she must've been maybe a year younger than himself. "Many talents Huh? That's cool"

He sat on the bed surprised by the comfort it had despite this being a house for the foresaken. Demetri was even more taken by surprise when he heard her voice buzz in his ears, it reminded him of honey, that was trickling down from a honeycomb. A small smile appeared on his face as the girl disappeared once more, but then it disappeared as anger boiled in the pit of his stomach, couldn't his father have just said before he left that Demetri would be looking for a wife?

His burning eyes scanned the room, the pale cream walls, the pictures and then on a few sketches that caught his eye. Demetri was amused by it, because it was different from his homeland art, but on the inside if he wasn't in such a fowl mood, he would've called it beautiful. His eyes snapped up when Zoe returned to the room,

"Well," he said calmly, shifting a bit, "it's more that I didn't know I was even coming here,"

"You didn't know you were coming here?" Zoe raised a slight brow in confusion as she looked off to the side, biting on her bottom lip a little bit. She then shrugged her shoulders while waving her hand in the air. "Anyways, if you didn't mean to come here." She stood up and walked over to her door, opening it to see if the male was going to leave or not. Whether he left or not, Mrs. Lincoln came and whisked Zoe away for a moment. "God, he doesn't know what he wants." Zoe muttered towards her as she sighed while running her hands through her hair.

"You have those type of customers from time to time, honey." Mrs. Lincoln said as they came into here office. "Eliza just turned in her notice and walked out." Zoe was crushed and a little heartbroken that her only friend at the brothel didn't even say bye to her. She stood there, motionless for a moment then questioned why she had quit. Mrs. Lincoln shrugged her shoulders as Zoe turned heel and walked back towards her room. If the gentleman was still in there, she would raise a brow. "What are you still doing here?" Zoe asked towards Demetri while sitting on her bed with yet another sigh.
