Marcet allowed himself a small smile as Stephen came into the room. Stephen was another person he knew. Quite a bit more than Jenifer. "I should have suspected you were behind our social gathering. Kate only convinced me to come after she had me watch a documentary and said I might find a straightjacket." Stephen's entrance didn't phase Marcet that much, only got him to look up from the files. They'd known eachother since they were at least ten, and Stephen always had the best practical jokes. With Marcet's ingenuity and Stephen's miscieviousness, they had gotten a teacher that they both disliked to quit her job after a semester of relentless pranking.

He shrugged off the reading in the dark comment. He did it all the time. "Kate went off to the bathroom. You just barely missed her. Pitty too." Marcet closed the files and tucked them under his arm. "I suggest we wait a bit for her. Anyways, It's been awhile since we've talked, how are you, enjoying your archeology career along with college?" He asked with a slight raise of his eyebrows.

Stephen nodded slightly and began scanning the room after Marcet let him know he'd just missed Katelyn. So she was alone in the building then. He hoped she didn't go get herself hurt, that be a big bother for him if someone were to be injured on this expedition. He heard the file snap shut and brought his eyes back to Marcet as he directed a question to him. "Oh, college. Yeah, it's nice and all. I enjoy the classes I'm taking for the most part. We're going over carbon-dating in my archaeology at the moment which is pretty interesting. Doesn't have all the adventure you see in the movies of course, but it's pretty cool at times. What about you? You still pursuing medicine?" He brought his eyes back to the pair of people he didn't really know. So the last question was unnecessary, he knew that Marcet was still doing the pharmaceutical engineering. He leaned a little closer to him, not wanting to offend anyone. "So... Who are those two? I knew Katelyn invited them but..." There really wasn't much else to be said. Marcet wasn't a big people person he knew and Stephen also knew that people just didn't tend to like him so having two strangers on one of their adventures was pretty strange. He could easily allow Katelyn since he sort of knew her, but these two he didn't know too well.

Charles walked to the Hallway. His clothes were in a disaster due to the fierce kicking and punching he had been doing. He wobbled a bit when he walked he grabbed on to a wooden desk and curled his hand, crushing a large chunk of the desk. He gripped his forehead and gritted his teeth then bit his lower lip. Blood trickled down his chest. "Four, five, six. Four, five, six. Four, five, six." He screamed (everyone in the asylum could probably hear it).

"There are more!?" He thinks aloud, his main body visible shaking and convulsing at the thought. Only after the other's of his mind had reassured him there were no others in his mind. Then what was he worried about? It took him a few long moments to realise he was being spoken to, the speaker was Maliik himself, he didn't really have strong opinions on the ghost, mostly because his personalities were split down the middle of whether they liked him or not. It then occured to him he was speaking about intruders in the asylum! How dare they! They forgot him here, they didn't try to help him, they didn't do anything at all besides leaving him to suffer alone. Of course even if these aren't the same people who initially abandoned him here, he though them all the same. So as he heard more of the plan concoted by Maliik; his minds could only agree, he will be the one to push down the tree. Making sure they could never leave again! "I/We accept your plan, I/We will enact it with haste." They all could only stare for a moment before setting off to their goal, leaving the room. Moving to Hallway (Rm:109) with his singular purpose.

Maliik smirked, becoming transparent once again, in visible to the human eye like the Cintes usually were. He began floating down hallway 109, preferring not to touch the ground, unlike the Cinte. Maliik liked the Cintes. They were crazy people. Like, really crazy people. He was a really fucked up group of people, and Maliik respected that. Afterall, it was hard enough just being one.

As he meandered his way down the hallway, he slowed a bit. All of the Cintes were more than enough needed to push over the old rotting tree. And they seemed to be quite eager to. He decided he wanted to wait until it actually happened. "Oh yes. And then I can materialize and have, like, an actual conversation with them. That would be most lovely. Hell, I might even be able to convince them I'm still alive. Technically I am. Aww, just screw it." Maliik stopped in the hallway in front of the bathrooms and began to quietly hum the pink pathers theme.

"Why the pink panther's theme, an inconspicuous onlooker might ask? Well. I doubt I actually live in an alternate universe, where I'm simply just a figment of imagination, spurred by bits of black dots arranged in different combinations on some sort of screen, and am controlled by a fledgeling writer who really has nothing better to do with his spare time but interact with people around the world he somehow knows through miraculous means of communication, BUT... If such a person must ask, it sure beats the jaws theme song for impending doom." Maliik raised his hands in a happy 'i dunnuh' gesture. "But hey, I'm crazy. What do I know?"

Spencer regularly walked the Hallways. Perchance an unfortunate mortal will give him an enjoyable time. He could sense their stinking flesh. The bastards. They have no knowledge of what is to come.
A lost child. Yes, a lost child to befriend them. Humans have a tendency to care for the weeping ones especially.

A crow flew past the group of humans, cawing in their ears. The mortals would have no knowledge of what it is saying. Spencer does. 'Doom is upon you little mortals. Doom will take you.'

The Plague Doctor's spectre began to laugh maniacally.
Death shall wake and the mortals will sleep.

Marcet was about to tell Stephen who his stepsisters friends were when the crow cawed at them. He blinked, then smiled. "Stepping your game up a bit since the old days? Clever, clever. But wait until Kate gets back for the real fun, allright?" Marcet getsured to Jenifer. "This is one of Katelyn's friends. Her name is Jenifer, If I remember correctly." He gestured to the other one. "This is her boyfriend. I have not learned his name yet. I haven't bothered." Marcet returned his gaze to Stephen. "Work, yes. I've been currently researching the relations between polymers and lipid based acids. Looking for a solution for stomach ulcers and such. I don't want to bore you though." Marcet walked over to where Stephen had tossed his light aside. "I'm keeping this. A souvenir if I fail to find a straightjacket or other restraining device." Marcet would probably be able to fix it later, the batteries were good still judging by the way it was flickering every once in awhile, something must have been loose. Given a bit of time, he'd have it working again.

Stephen blinked as the crow cawed at them. He was a bit shocked by this occurrence. What the hell was a crow doing in this mental institute? Then he heard Marcet comment on how he'd been stepping up on his little jokes. He'd wish he could take credit for that, it was creepy as all hell. That was when the first inkling of fear came into his heart. He discarded it though, this place wasn't really haunted. There was just no way. Instead he focused on Marcet's words as he informed him what little he knew. It seemed as though Marcet knew just about as much about them as he did, a little less though. He pointed at Kawazoe. "His name is Kawazoe." Not that it really mattered to him if Marcet learned the name, he doubted there would be much interaction after this. He nodded as Marcet went on to talk about his studies. Most of it went over his head when it came to the details but the general concept he knew so he nodded in comprehension. When Marcet retrieved his discarded torch and said he would keep it Stephen shrugged. It was junk to him now. "Go ahead if you want to. I'm going to find something in this building though. I'm not settling for a broken torch." He turned and looked at the exit from the lobby, presumably where Katelyn had departed to. He was itching to move on, but he'd wait for now. She'd be back soon enough. It wasn't like she'd gone off to explore already. A simple run to the bathroom before the excitement began. He smiled slyly and relaxed, this was going to be a fun night. Nothing wrong at all. That slight bit of fear went away as he thought of the fun everyone would have in the night ahead.

Katelyn was still walking fairly slowly with her eyes tightly shut. She shuddered when she thought she heard a man counting in a distance, but it must have been Kawa or Stephen trying to scare people. She heard them talking back and forth in a distance. She almost heard a crow too. It was strange. It sounded like it was inside the building too. She shook her head as her curls bounced around following her head's movement. Finally, her hand felt an edge as she continued touching the wall as guidance to walk down the dark hallway. She turned left down the hallway, still touching the wall. She forgot her phone at home and can't even use it as a flash light. She must be close to the bathroom now. As she approached it, there was a pungent smell growing within her nostrils. She gulped in fear. She was beginning to rethink using the bathroom. Maybe a tree would be less disgusting... she thought with a shiver.

[dice]17304[/dice]

The hallways had a sudden change in temperature. She felt herself walking even slower than before. She was trying to avoid the jingle noise her boots' buckles make. Her breath was shaky. While her left hand was touching the wall, she was hugging herself tightly with her other hand. She heard a faint hum. She froze in place and finally opened her eyes. It was dark, but her eyes were mildly adjusting to it. There was nothing before her. Not even a figure, but she still heard a hum and it sounded very close to her. Now, her back is against the wall and she inching slowly to her destination. Her chest was rising and falling in a very frightened manner as her hands were intertwined together in a prayer like position tightly pressed against her chest.

Arriving into the Day Room, Cinte was uncaring of anything in the room, he didn't really care for the room even when it was here, but he did remember the plan, trap the intruders, they will stay with him forever. Penance for them leaving him here, for abandoning him when they were supposed to fix him! This enraged him, causing his form to waver in anger; he took the anger outside. Angry at everything at the moment, he wasn't like this usually but when he was admitted he had been prone to outbursts of anger, the "demons" had caused him to become this way. He spotted the tree, the tree where he would wish he could hang himself- or selves, in life. He remembered all the rage of still existing with these ghosts with his mind he summoned it from the depths of his mind, focusing on the tree. The tree threatened to snap before it was finally pushed down, blocking off the enterance, a random branch even flying off and hitting a car. Satisfied he moved back to the Day room and waited.

The note picked up by Kate is old. Not old enough to be originally from the asylum but old none-the-less. The note is scrawled in random words and phrases but one is remarkably calm and collected, if still creepy looking.

"Two exist in this place."

the words seem to become pure scratch after the point.

Jennifer smiled when Marcet replied to her comment in a sarcastic tone. This boy is on fire! she squeaked within her mind. She didn't get to react to accompanying Katelyn to the bathroom because Stephen hastily came into the lobby with a live torch and she acted repulsively to it. "Boy! Get that thing away from me!" she yelled as she stepped away from the fire, but it went out without him having to retort to her uncomfortable disposition. "Great," now the room was pitch black and she had to get her eyes adjusted to the darkness again. She turned on her phone and used the 'Flashlight' app to light the room. Jenny decided to snoop on Marcy and she walked over to his side as he looked at the files and casually spoke with Stephen. She smiled and bit her finger when he introduced her to Stephen, "Hi, nice to meet cha! Call me Jenny." She looked back down to Marcet, then a distant voice was heard, but she couldn't make out who it was and where it was coming from. "Oh, shoot! I got to get to Katie," she almost forgot about her. "Be right back," she said with a wink. Before she set foot into the hallway, a loud thump was heard at the front of the asylum. "What the fuck was that?" her eyes were wide with fear. "Okay, someone else get Kate cause I'm shitting bricks," she walked to the other side of the lobby and looked through the vestibule, her phone lighting the dark entrance. She didn't want to investigate by herself and she definitely did not want to go find Kate by herself.

Maliik had stepped into hallway 106. He had heard the tree fall over. The Clintes had succeded and done as he had asked. Maliik decided he liked the Clintes. One of the people that had come was standing in the doorway to the lobby. Maliik turned visible, and walked down the hallway, still humming the pink panter theme. "hmm-mm, hmm-mm, hmm-mm mm-mm mm-mm mm-mm mm mmmmmmmmmm... Ey! 'Ello there!" He gave a slow little wave, nothing much, just a raise of his hand and a slow curl of his fingers. Maliik barely stifled a barking laugh. Oh, this was going to be fun. So much fun. He smelled blood. But first, they needed a bit of fun. "Let's do some stuff, how bout it?" He asked, affixing his blue gaze on the girl, "Have to set the mood, contribute to the tone. The tone is the most important part." He began moving closer to the room, just a casual stroll. He hadn't planned what he would do if people came, but he had an inkling now. It would be great.

Charles walked through the Hallway muttering the same numbers (4, 5 and 6 just in case you didn't know) and shivering while rolling Elizabeth's bracelet. The blood had dried by now. A large bite mark rested on his lower lip causing extreme pain to a normal person. Charles simply ignored the pain as it was petty compared to other scars he had.

Stephen watched as Jennifer started heading off to go get Katelyn and frowned. This was all going a bit too unexpected. He hadn't rigged this place up to scare them but here they were, strange things happening around them. And that wasn't the worst of it apparently. There was a huge cracking sound that sent goosebumps to his arms and then a large crashing sound and what appeared to be the sound of metal bending and glass shattering, this was quickly followed by Jennifer's violent objections to proceed further into the building. His eyes widened and he hastened to the vestibule window, taking a glance outside. That was, what he could make out of it. There was a tree blocking his view and, by the looks of it, the door as well. He backed off slowly, trying not to let panic take over. It was just a series of unfortunate events getting to his head. This place wasn't really haunted, no way. There was another door they could go through somewhere. He walked over to Marcet, trying to be casual about it. He kept his voice low so that Jennifer couldn't make out his words. No point in freaking the girl out any further. "So... Uh, do you by chance now the way to another door? This one is now blocked... By a tree." It just made no sense, why of all the places for a tree to fall? He couldn't quite shake the feeling that they weren't alone here now. The voices, the crow, and now this. It was just his overactive imagination getting to him. Secretly he actually wanted this place to be haunted so his mind was supplementing for him. That had to be it.

She ran to the bathroom once the mysterious whistling suddenly stop. Once she was inside, she heard a loud thump. "What was that," she whispered to herself. She held her nose as she came to realize how disgusting and repulsive the bathroom stalls were. She felt herself almost gagging upon inspecting each stall. The toilets were aged no longer the pearl white color they once were. Brown and red smears, sewage water throughout the floor, and bloody toilet paper rolls thrown all around. She was scared to breathe. To her disbelief, the last stall wasn't so bad, so she decided to do her thing there. It was difficult considering she didn't want to let go of her nose, but she somehow managed. After finishing her business, she felt something crawling up her leg. "Hmm?" She looked down and found a roach chilling casually upon her lower limb. She let out a loud shriek and swiped multiple times at her leg the stomped around in the bathroom patting all over her body. She accidentally breathed in the nostalgic air within the bathroom and found herself gagging uncontrollably. The series of noises she made were quite a scary combination. God knows what was going on with her.

Marcet shrugged. "There was a map on the counter. Katelyn took it, but I have it memorized, naturally." he replied to Stephen's remark. Being a reaserching scientist, Marcet spent alot of time looking at statistics, charts, graphs, and data tablles. A map was no problem for him to store in his memory. Looking out the window, he noted that the tree was extremely large, and ran paralell with most of the front of the building. Marcet walked out of the lobby and into the vestibule, leaving the door open so he could see Stephen and Jenifer. Turning the knob on the door and pushing outwards, the door moved forwards about a centimeter then stopped. "Just making sure." He said.

"Hmm, let's see..." Marcet mumbled, rubbing his temples, recalling the map, "The closest exit from here is the day area, but that seems to be blocked by the tree as well. Theres... an exit in the quiet area... And another at the west wing of the building. We should wait for Katelyn to get back before we decide to move anywhere though, she could come back here and not realize where whe are or where we've went." Marcet seemed eerily calm for the situation. His face was placid, showing no sign of fear, panic, or any other emotion for that matter. The rationel he used to work his way through situations seemed rehearsed. And it was, he was an extremely logical person afterall.

Jennifer looked to and from Stephen and Marcet. "Why you whispering?" she asked in an agitated manner. She watched as Marcet walked into the vestibule only to confirm her fears. "We have to find another exit?! We're locked in here? What if those other exits are blocked too?" her eyes were wide as she moved her hands around expressively. "Wait for Kate? Are you crazy? Let's just go get her!" she rolled her eyes frustratingly and stomped into the next hallway. "Katie!" she screamed. "Get your ass out of the bathroom, girl!" Jenny was suddenly feeling claustrophobic. She was freaking scared. She peeked her head back into the lobby, "Let's wait for the damn girl in the hallway. Its not like she's going to miss us." she spoke with an unnerving attitude.

She ran out of the bathroom coughing like a lunatic. She snapped her head in the direction her best friend yelled her name. Something wasn't right. There was panic in Jennifer's voice. "I'm out! I'm out!" she exclaimed. She looked around as her voice echoed. It wasn't comforting at all. She walked slowly back towards the lobby. The buckles of her boots making a clicking noise each step, she breathed in and out slowly. Why was Jenny yelling like that... she thought to herself. What's going on? She did recall hearing a thump not too long ago. Could it be that? That noise must have put her best friend on the edge. Well, Katelyn is quite certain she would be too if it weren't for the fact that she felt slightly at ease upon hearing her best friend's voice. Kate's surprise Kawazoe didn't accompany her to the bathroom even though she didn't invite him openly. She figured someone would come along. Huh, guess not.

Maciv shrugged and followed Jenifer and Kazowe into the hallway. "Jenifer, calm down. There is no need to be upset. Deep breaths, deep breaths." Maciv was not going to have anyone panicking on him, afterall, this was just a practical joke by Stephen. Nothing to be afraid of. Or so he thought until they stepped into hallway 106.

Maliik, who had been leaning in a corner, materialized. "That's quite right Jenifer," He said with an upbeat tone of voice and relaxed body posture, "No need to be upset." A wide smile was plastered across his face, the corners of his mouth turned up at a strange angle. "Afterall, there's nothing here to be afraid of... Just the living... Really. Nothing bad about living. I mean, I like living, it's nice." His gaze roamed around, affixing on each person. It rested on the burly football player. What was left of his mind was working furiously. What was he going to do? Oh, he knew what he was going to do. Now all he needed to do was to find an instrument...

Stephen ran after everyone, feeling a sense of doom coming upon him. This wasn't a practical joke, this was reality. There was something going on in this building. As he ran into the hallway something caught his eye. A small glint in the light. He stopped and stooped over, picking it up. Some old necklace... His eye dated it back to older than the building itself. Strange. He stuffed the pendant into his pocket and continued on. Once everyone was in the hallway Stephen saw Marcet trying to console Jennifer about the situation and Katelyn had joined the small group outside in the hallway. He counted heads real quick and saw everyone was there, accounted for. That was a bit reassuring. No one had gotten hurt yet, best to get out of there before something did happen. He stepped forward, about to motion for everyone to start heading down the hall and towards one of the exits. Then someone began speaking. Some... Human? Stephen turned to the voice and saw a really weird looking guy. Why the hell was there someone else in the asylum? Goosebumps covered his body, something about this wasn't right. It was almost as if... This guy belonged here. The way he talked... Something was just off but he couldn't quite place it.

Charles made his way to Interview room 105. His head was still down. His claws were now hardened into claws and his teeth into fangs (as seen in the picture). He kept the bracelet in his hand. He screamed once again but in terror. Charles was scared. He was misunderstood. But there was nothing he could do about that. No one could. Only his Elizabeth could.

Katelyn crept slowly towards the neighboring hallway where she spotted all her friend and a strange man. "Uh... guys," she said a bit hesitantly. She looked around frighteningly, unsure of how she should react to the man who apparently dressed like he was a mental patient. "Wh-who this?" she went to Kawazoe's side and hugged his arm. She snuggled her face against him as she spoke softly, "The bathroom was so horrible!" She whimpered a bit, emphasizing her point, "It reeked like a dead corpse covered in manure." Most of Kate's body was behind Kawazoe. She was using him like a shield that he promised to be.

Maliik smiled wolfishly at the girls remark. "A corpse? Well THAT, right there, is quite the interesting suggestion." He reached his hand up to stroke his chin, his dark eyes darting around the room. There. On the floor. A piece of metal. With his mind he reached out to the burly person she was hiding behind. "Now friend, you wouldn't mind making one would you?" Wisps of thought transfered between the two, and Kawazoe doubled over, clutching his head. Maliik cocked his head at an odd angle. "Well, it seems one of us is a bit unwell!" Maliik snapped his fingers and pointed at the man, making an 'eyyy' sound some people do after a joke.

"Well, just a bit, just a bit, we need a headcount." Maliik pointed at each of the friends in turn. "One two three four five. Lovely. Do we have names?" Maliik stopped his assault on Kawazoes mind. "Oh stop it big boy, the fun's not even started yet."

Cinte arrived in the hallway (106) mostly because of the sound, he had heard Maliik speak, he felt the need to tell him he had finished his job. Upon arriving he went pale, in the sense that he turned more transparent. He didn't wish to interrupt Maliik as he was talking with the... uh.. people? He didn't know who they were, so they must be the intruders. He kept his anger in check, he wasn't so rude as to interrupt someone as they spoke. Although he did want to rip them apart, to crush their fleshy bodies he will wait, his time for revenge will come. His other four bodies floated around him, making themselves visible for they cared little if they were seen and took no refuge in translucency, they did release small amounts of laughter, each one in a different tone of voice though, faint enough to not be noticed immediately over Maliik's rambling.
