Llapus are a subspecies of human. They move in packs, have pointed ears and sharp teeth. Slitted pupils and claws. On average they are much taller than the average human. They tend to be more colourful than humans, and usually have long, thin markings.
This pack, the Graycrests, travel a lot. They’ve been all over the snowy world of Axaria. They never stay in one place too long, sometimes staying in towns and villages and sometimes sleeping out in the open, under the stars. Why do they move so much? They’re running from something. A dark, evil force that calls itself Abyss. Somehow, it’s always following. The Greycrests don’t know how it’s able to track them, but they’re working on it. Details of the Abyss are kept hush hush by Cyran, the leader, and his circle. They don’t want the family to panic. All anyone knows for certain is that they disturbed something while on a quest, and now it follows them.
For years, the Greycrests have all been Llapus. Lately, they have invited other races into the pack. People they have come to love, people they feel could have a place in this rather large family, if they wanted.
The Greycrests tend to live off the land, but in Axaria gold is still important. For extra food, heath potions and medicine, Magic crystals to power equipment. When they do reach a town, they look for odd jobs, for quests. Over the years they’ve battled dragons, undead, even a dark wizard or two.
In the pack, everyone has a job. Hunting, looking after the young, gathering, guards and lookouts. They all know each other, they’re family.

You can have as many characters as you like, just don't overwhelm yourself lol
Your character/s don't have to be a Llapus, you could be an Elf, Human, Halfling, whatever you like.
There are a few jobs your character can have within the group, like Hunter, Fighter, Gatherer, Look-outs, Guards. If you have an idea for a different job, we can discuss it
and of course there are the quests. I'm thinking they'll form mini parties that go off and do this while the packs in town.
Oh! and magic is totally a thing, in this world anyone can use it.
So what we want to play with here is some slice of life, family times, but also dealing with nature and missions and all that.
