The Great Ninja War (Naruto) [Inactive]

He smiled at her reaction. "Yes it does". he turned his head to her looking straight in her eyes. "You're an heiress, Sora. Your entire life will work around your family." he said, his words were no longer whispers and although his voice was warm and soft, it had a deep and serious tone to it. And you will never appreciate them until they are gone... is what he wanted to say, but even Yoshiki wasn't so bold as to go there. He placed his right hand on her shoulder, his eyes now turning to the ground "Can I ever..." he paused for a moment, taking a quick look at the Araii Compound before looking back at her "Meet them? Your family, I mean. The Araii are so respected in this village, I always wondered if there's more to them than meets the eye." he removed the hand from her shoulder and awaited an answer.

Sora eye's locked with his. "Of course it will. I will one day rule my clan. But until then I'm not responsible for all of them. We can take care of ourselves." Her voice hardened. When he placed a hand on her shoulder her eyes narrow. When he started talking about meeting her family her mouth formed into a frown. Once he removed his hand she shot up. "No you can't meet them. Outsiders are not welcomed in the Araii compound. Especially a rogue like you."She spat. Sora's eyes roamed over him. What did he want with her family? "I would refrain from mentioning them again If I were you." She turned and started walking towards the compound. "Either I or Burning Mist, most likely not the later, will come and get you when it is time to go." She did a few hands signs and poofed away.

Suiro as soon as the first feather fell, he agitated his chakra and smirked. "I have a better idea..." The hand signs boar dog and ram went up and he lept a small ways away. "Water Style... Ripping Torrent!" The fast moving torrent of water gave the Amegakure-nin enough time to run out of the bar and head towards the village gates, hiding in the trees surrounding the village, however he left his forehead protector behind.

The jonin signed tiger, boar, ox, snake. When the water hit a log took its place. Re-appearing again the jonin was back in his normal form. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw something, the ninja forhead protect. What is a shinobi of Amegakure doing here? He carefully picked up the head band and then looked at Matsudai. Suddenly he appeared next to her. "And who might you be?"

Lowering her cup back to the table, Matsudai glanced up to the jonin that appeared silent beside her, offering him a soft smile as she chuckled gently. "Just a weary traveler, sir, in need of a good cup of tea," she claimed warmly, bringing the cup back up to her lips to take another sip, attentive in case he decided to do something.

Yoshiki sighed after she left. I don't know what I expected... he returned to the tea house he first met her. Surprisingly enough not a lot of time passed. There he saw another jonin from the village next to a peasant girl. There was a lot of water at the teahouse, like somewhat spilled an entire keg. He walked in closely to see what the jonin was doing when he noticed that there was more to the peasant girl then met the eye. He recognized her through her rags - she was Matsudai Rokkaku and Yoshiki remembered her back when he was a rouge ninja in the Land of Water. The jonin was clearly onto her, but Yoshiki wouldn't have that. He approached the jonin and gently pat him on the back "Dai." he took a quick glance at Matsudai "I just talked to the heiress, she said that you must urgently meet her."

As he lied he tried to keep his facial expressions in check. Yoshiki didn't want the situation to end badly on Matsundai, nor on him.

(((I just called him Dai since idk what his name might have been but I figured Yoshiki already knew all the jonin. I can always change that)))

(Thats fine. I was making him a random so i didn't name him.)

Dai looked from Yoshiki to the girl and then back at Yoshiki. "Then you better deal with her." He then disappeared in a fog of smoke.

Ready for the job in to attack, Matsudai was surprised to hear a somewhat familiar voice. Where have I heard that voice before? thought Matsudai to herself before looking up to see none other than Yoshiki patting the shoulder of the jonin trying to figure out who she was. A faint scowl curled on her lips.

"I had it under control..." she said bluntly, returning to her tea.

Sora appeared in the center of the compound. The streets still had a few people walking around on it, but most were now at home getting ready for bed. Roaming the streets people would stop and say hello to her. Sora smiled softly at them and waved back. Eventually she reached the housing section of the compound. It looks similar to how the Uchiha compound looked. The houses were traditional style but were mostly with dark coloring mixed with purple. Sora stopped in front of the largest house in the compound. Her family has lived in this house for generations. She took a deep breath before entering.

Taking off her shinobi shoes she heard loud foot steps running towards her. "Onee-chan! You're home!" A little boy around the age of ten came running up to her. He leaped up and she caught him giving him a big hug. "Shouldn't you be in bed Aoi?" He looked up at her giving her a big smile. He had the same hair color as Sora's but his eyes were a light blue instead of like dark coals. She put him down. "Now go to bed little one or father will get angry." She smiled brightly at him. Aoi pouted but he did as he was told.

She, her self decided it was time to go to sleep heading up to her room she changed into a purple kimono that had a white dragon design on it and a crescent moon on the back. The symbol of the Araii clan. You'd think it would be the symbol they wear on their face, but no. Being the heiress Sora knew exactly what the jutsu did that made the symbols stay permanently on their face and she hopes no one will ever find out. Once she laid in bed it didn't take long for her to fall asleep. Sora's last thought was of what Yoshiki said about this involving her family. No matter what she would protect her little brother. He was the one thing she truly cared for in this world.

After Dai poofed away, Yoshiki chuckled at Matsudai's words. He sat down next to her and took a small sip out of her tea. "Of course you did, Mat" he shortened her name. "It's not like Dai is a sensory ninja that knew who you were the moment you stepped in.." he gazed at her for quite a bit. Some years passed but she didn't change much. "Coming here can get you in a lot of trouble you know..."

Matsudai blinked to Yoshiki taking a sip out of her own cup of tea, sighing before pushing the cup of tea gently towards him to insist he finish it up, crossing her arms in front of her chest. Great...the nickname again after so long. Giving a faint grunt in acknowledgement, Matsudai shrugged and started to pour another cup of tea for herself. "Yes...but I am here on business from the Hokage of Konoha. I go where the Hokage tells me to and I don't question it," she explained simply.

Yoshiki could tell she was slightly annoyed with him, by the way she reacted to his actions. "I wish I could say the same about the Taiyokage..." he whispered as his head got closer to hers. "I work for him, now you know? I wasn't born here, but I left my days as a rouge behind and now I am supposed to act like a loyal dog...".

His voice was still silent, but his words were a little harsher. He took another sip before realizing that he might have hurt Matsudai's pride. "I...I meant no offence, Mat". He looked down to his cup for a moment before finishing it.

"Funny...I don't remember you being so upset with the idea of being loyal to your employer when you and I last ran into each other. You had quite the attitude towards everyone back then and you made sure to let people know what you were thinking," reminded Matsudai, sipping her new cup of tea before she sighed to Yoshiki's apology, waving her hand to show he meant no harm. "What do you want from me, Yoshiki?"
