I figured I might as well nail everyone following the RP's development with a tag,who hasn't hopped on already. Everyone else who is interested,the following instructions are for you,as well.


The RP is set to Public Posting. You do not need me to invite you,or go through a moderation process outside of me approving your character before posting in the Chronicles subforum,which will be created when I have enough people to get the ball rolling.


However,you still need certain permissions before you can even post a character signup. Here's how you do that.


Simply find and hit the "Join Roleplay" button,or some button labeled to that effect. I was Skyping with an applicant when this came up,and they rapidly found the solution themselves. If a mod can swing by and point people to more precise instructions,that'd be stellar.


This thread will be used in the future for announcements,as well as assorted Grandos Paradox-related chatter. If you have any questions regarding anything related to the RP,pose them here. If you have the question,others more than likely have it,as well.
 
The Chronicles section is represented as a tab under the RP Home tab. Scroll up,and keep your eyes to the left. You should see it there.
 
Would have loved to explore Bockrath some more, but that would mean posting more paragraphs.


@Alad V, are you still accepting more people?

Great post though, @Heartsteal. I'm usually not pleased with whatever I post, but I see RPs as a chance to get rid of that nagging voice in my head that wants perfection and nothing else. I'd never write anything otherwise :D

I need you to get at least one more post in,to get yourself into Jugo. Everyone else,to your lodgings at Jugo,if you think you can squeak in a post. So,let us agree on a time: Let's say it's early to mid evening,at the "present time",occupied by Koboi?


Also,@ninbinz ,travel across the sea is very dangerous and expensive. The seas are so shallow that conventionally built ships made to make such a voyage would disembowel themselves on the seafloor. As such,ocean behemoths would not exist. The biggest threat would be the sharks and jellyfish off the coast of Dagnone. Or Bockrath Bay,in it's entirety. The most economical way to travel abroad is airship,or rail,if you're in Centra or Eidelon. I sorta mentioned most of this in the Codex.
 
@Alad V I dunno, I knew all of this but for some reason I just couldn't compute it. I will go through and edit it accordingly.


Oh, yes, Koboi should be inhabiting the present time.
 
Travel by sea isn't impossible,@ninbinz . Effectively,it would mandate a VERY large barge. Wide surface area,so less required to be under the surface. However,such a ship would need quite a bit of fuel to move,so it'd be expensive.
 
Yeah, perhaps I could get a discount by working for passage. Which is entirely possible if I kill off a crew member.
 
Will have a post up by tomorrow. How long are travel times from one continent to another?

Sorry for the delay. Meant to post this last night, but the site was down for me when I got home, and was still down when I checked this morning. Just got back - finally out of the scorching sun!
 
I've heard many reports from several people that watching threads does not work,Ninz. Either way,I've always advocated actively monitoring threads you're involved in. Few things are more reliable than your own two eyes.
