Welcome, CI9 operative. I'm Jimmy, the Intel Officer here at ECHO, and this is the EchoChamber. This is where the magic happens. Here we'll teach you what you need to know to be an effective operative, and all the ins and outs and little formalities you'll have to follow. It's just paperwork, we all do it, so no whining, you hear me?


All right, here's how it works.






Alright, there are four generalized "types" of mutants that we have on record. None of the shit's set in stone, but here's what we DO know.



Class 1, Naturals



Naturals are the ones who took the Genesis Bullet like they were supposed to. No problems, no accidents, everything going according to plan. They're typically perfectly fine, mentally stable and all that, though the mutations they undergo are incredibly....well, effective. This leaves them looking a little less than human. Save for having a humanoid figure, they undergo a lot of very impressive changes, stuff you can't really hide away with makeup and good lighting. That being said, naturals also don't have any need for additional augmentation. They're ready to go just the way they came out of the box, no extra bits or pieces needed. Batteries included, all that jazz. Their capabilities are typically
physically oriented, they're strong and durable, but we typically arm them with a few weapons, just in case they need a little extra pizzazz, yknow? Pretty straightforward.


Class 2, Harnessers



Harnessers come out a little rough around the edges. As we've observed, a harnesser is a mutant that's just a little premature, like an undercooked steak, still nice and juicy but just a little too much yknow? As a result, their body doesn't do a very good job of sealing in all that extra power they pack. They have a tendency to
leak out pure energy. I've seen some that leak heat, some that leak electric charges, even one guy who leaked radiation. As a result of all that leakage, we typically give them some minimal augmentation, stuff that they can use to harness their power. Hence the name, duh. These guys tend to do a lot of harm to the baddies, but they aren't as heavily armored as Naturals, due to being all...unfinished. They're also not the best at blending in either yknow, with the whole oozing energy and wearing a bunch of tech shit to keep it all from goin all over the place.


Class 3, Augmented



Augmented are the runts of the litter. The bullet put them back together, but that was about it. Still technically better then the average human, but not a lot of added perks besides maybe silky smooth hair and no signs of acne. That being said, they still completed the test. They took the bullet and survived, so they've earned a spot with the team. The Augmented are also useful because they look
completely normal. They can go in public without anyone batting an eye, slip through a crowd eezy peezy. Normally you'd think that wouldn't be very useful, but it's almost necessary in our line of work. To compensate for their lack of mutations, Augmented are given heavy duty augmentation. We're talking power suits, high tech gadgets, weaponry, the works. It's all personalized for the user too, no standard default shit for the special snowflakes here at CI9, no sir. However, the only problem is that Augmented aren't allowed to have permanent fixtures. Mostly because it ruins their ability to look normal, if they can't take off their super suits and stuff. They get whatever they want for the most part, but they gotta be able to take it off from time to time.


Class 4, Overgrown



These one are interesting. You know how Harnessers and Augmented got the short end of the mutation stick? Well these guys went overboard. Their bodies took the bullet and then some, and boy did they go to town. A lot of them grow to
massive sizes, and they're all ridiculously strong. On the other hand, they have a tendency to come out a little off in the head, they don't think so good. So it's a bit of a sacrifice for them. They're arguably the toughest kids on the baseball team, but they can't do arithmetic for their lives. That or they're batshit crazy, one of the two typically.

Alright, so I know I might be a buzzkill by sayin' this but the club has rules. ECHO dictates that each class of mutants has certain "limitations" to keep you guys under control. This is supposedly for our safety, so if you punks go rogue you won't be too tough to put down. Not that we're worried about that...



Naturals:



-No augmentations. Designing augmentation for Harnessers and Augmented is easy since they aren't so....different. You guys, not so much.



-Two weapons only. This is mostly thanks to a guy back in CI7 named Jerry. Jerry wanted to carry 9 different kinds of explosives with him on a mission, then he ruined it for the rest of you. So thanks, Jerry.



-No harnessing capacity. There have been a few batches of mutants that came out technically Natural, but could still utilize their excess power like Harnessers. These guys get put down, they're considered too dangerous to be trusted. Naturals get enough physical-based powers anyways, what should it matter to you guys?



-No "clean" Naturals. This isn't even a limitation, this is just an impossibility. Naturals do not come out looking normal, they just don't. Harnessers sometimes can pass off as normal from afar, but they glow and ooze and all that. You guys just aren't built to look like people anymore, it's just a matter of fact.



Harnessers:



-No enhanced durability/physical powers. This is the same reasoning we have for Naturals. A harnesser with the endurance of a Natural would be considered too dangerous and would be destroyed before it could remember its own birthday.



-1 melee weapon plus your Harnesser Augment. The idea for this rule was that Harnessers don't NEED weapons, if anything we give them to 'em to make 'em feel better.



-No "clean" Harnessers. Self explanatory, you get the drill.



Augmented:



-Limited to one set of Augmentations. There's only enough tech for everyone to have one nice little box for themselves. If we gave one guy 3 suits we'd be using 3 times the funding for 1/3 of the usefulness. That's just economics.....or was it accounting?



-Augmentations must be removable/detachable. Some folks get little biotech implants for quick assembly, but the point is you guys are supposed to be the ones who can pass off as human. We need you to keep it that way. TRUST ME IT'S IMPORTANT.



-No mental augmentation. Dr. Leumas has a very strict "No Mindfucking" policy. We don't do brain stuff. None of that telepathy business, that's going into uncharted territory. The most we do is sensory enhancement, and that's where we draw the line. End of story.



Overgrown-Really? I have to read this to them? They probably don't even know what I'm saying.....alright ALRIIIGHT fine....



-No weapons. If this rule doesn't make sense to you, imagine a 11ft 3 ton 6 eyed demon of a mutant coming at you with an 11ft 3 ton sized weapon. It's just overkill at that point.



-No Harnessing capacity. We haven't seen it happen yet, but the protocol is that if we do, we gotta kill the thing. Way too dangerous, especially considering how unstable they a-QUIT LICKIN ME.



-No intelligent specimen. I guess the reason they made this rule is because Overgrown are naturally juuust stupid enough to follow orders. Most can speak in simple sentences and understand commands, but if they ever get particularly clever, or at least clever enough to decide they wanna stop following orders, then we have a very, VERY large liability to deal with.



The second number in the Storage Passcode is

Pre-Bullet Name: Johnathan Argo



Unit Alias: Rook

Mutant Classification: Natural



Physical Description: 6'4". Tan skin, dark hair. Mutation has developed heavily in extremities, noted by the large gray bone-like plating that covers the arms and legs. Small vents can be seen in each of the plate structures, but are difficult to make out without close analysis. Eyes described by field operative as "Jade Green". Black hair, neatly cut. Body is in pinnacle efficiency condition. Subject has developed a 4 foot tail, with a dense spherical bone club at its tip. Field operative advises to avoid subject while making sharp turns. Subject was provided with simple pants and combat boots, as well as a loose vest for his chest.



Mutant Capabilities: According to field analysis, subject is capable of exuding Vector Shockwaves, direction-based force blasts, performed by momentum of the arm and air circulation in the mutated plating creating a dense and concentrated air pocket for maximum kinetic output.



Augmentations: N/A



Armaments: Subject has been assigned two Q Series Mag Maces. Large spherical maces with detachable heads that can be thrown at targets for ranged assaults. Special magnetic tips on each weapon's handle can recall the hammer's head back to the hilt.



Interview Debrief: Subject lived alone, and worked as a tattoo artist. Supposedly the regions where he placed most of his tattoos were obscured by his mutation. No known immediate family. Parents described the subject as an upstanding citizen, and an avid patriot, fond of his artwork and his work in freedom.



Unit Behavior: Subject has been described as calm and collected. Recommended for field work.

Physical Appearance: 5'11". Subject is in pinnacle body efficiency. Dirty blonde hair, seemingly blown back by mutation. Large scarring along the neck that extends somewhat onto the left side of the subject's chin, seemingly a result of his power exhaust. Subject's harnessing augmentation covers most of his chest and shoulders, the systems covered by simple black plating with large amounts of exhaust vents. Tightly-armored tubing extends down the subject's arms leading to heavily plated gloves, sealed to prevent any accidental exhaust. Subject was provided with simple baggy pants and combat boots for efficient movement.



Mutant Capabilities: Subject is capable of expelling massive amounts of heat from his body, to the point where the fires he releases lose pigment, and can be referred to as Whitefire. This heat is most often expelled from his hands, but analysts suggest the heat could be expelled from other locations on the body.



Augmentations: Q Series Augment "Thruster". This augment piece covers most of the subject's torso and hands. It allows the subject to divert its natural heat exhaust into offensive capacities without harming the subject.



Armaments: Subject was assigned a Ferrite compound shortsword capable of being heated to red-hot levels without losing structural integrity.



Interview Debrief: Subject was described by his wife as a loving and caring individual. Subject previously worked as a school teacher, and was highly regarded as an outstanding educator. Subject's family has been financially compensated, as it was later learned that the subject was a retired military member, who had been part of the developmental process for Q series technology.



Unit Behavior: Subject was described as outgoing, lively, and an enjoyable personality. To be considered for possible PR campaigns in the future.

Physical Description: 5'4" in height; 145 pounds with slightly athletic build; long dark brown hair to length of middle back typically tied up in loose bun; hazel colored eyes; bears tattoo across entire back of a Korean turtle sitting on some rocks beside a river with an elegant red and white butterfly on its back showing the combination to mean longevity, free love, and happiness; subject possesses slight bags under eyes


Mutant Capabilities: N/A


Augmentations:

  • Sunglasses- the glass is replaced with optical-sensor fields to permit the user to examine far away distances and provide nighttime and heat vision; removable eyewear that is also geared specifically towards the designated user's sight parameters that will not work if others try it on
  • Booster boots- the boots provide additional power when jumping to scale buildings or to give an extra boost when darting off after a target; it is a means to compliment the agility and strength of the individual and does not exceed to superhuman heights
  • Bugs and GPS wristlet- for tracking movement of an individual, to record audio, or provide surveillance, the bugs allow for the user to provide distance between the target and the user to obtain information or to help track down the intended target


Armaments:

  • Bo staff- with the appearance of a walking cane, with one press of a button the cane extends out to a full bo staff made of an alloy mixture whose recipe is a government secret, allowing the bo to be extremely durable and heavy enough for the subject to wield and carry for extended periods of time
  • Katana- used only on more dangerous missions, the katana is crafted from a renowned swordsman from Japan, crafted with the finest of metals to a wielding weapon that would never rust, break, or lose its sharpness


Interview Debrief: Majority of information about subject came from close friends with minimal contribution from subject's family. Subject came from affluent family with great financial stability and had great education and job experiences. Family of subject did not seen to exert much effort in being involved in the subject's life or contribute to the subject's interests and refused to discuss further. Friends had mentioned subject was reliable and social to everyone especially the patients in the subject's care at the hospital. Lived alone and practiced martial arts very day of the week and was always found studying in subject's study. Subject was also engaged to son of predominant family with business ties to subject's father's business that ended with the subject's death.


Unit Behavior: Subject displays characteristics of an introverted and studious individual. Subject is very serious about several aspects prior to and after Genesis Bullet. Worldly in knowledge, curious, and intelligent in nature is witnessed in current psychiatric evaluations and is the same when compared to interview with subject's friends prior to Genesis Bullet. Shows to be very trustworthy to those who prove their loyalty and sincerity and will protect those the subject holds close to their heart. Holds very high moral standards and does not like to see others not following simple moral conduct.

Physical Description: Subject is 6'2, 200 pounds. Solid, but long frame gives him the ability to control distances in close quartered combat. Subject has neglected to cut, or trim both hair and beard. Despite lack of hygiene, remains physically imposing.


Augmentations:


Overlord Augmentation System - Sleek, durable this full body armor is built for maneuverability and speed, though it may leave a little to be desired in the defense department because of its light weight. The helmet features a state of the art neurological interface, streaming data instantaneously to Whisper. Distance, wind direction, weather conditions, body tempatures all seamlessly transmitted without the need to read a HUD. Every split second counts. Visor also gives multiple optical options, ranging from different spectrums of light, to energy admissions.


On a lesser scale, the OAS enhances physical abilities. Meant mostly for long ranged combat, hence the name, the armor still enhances speed and strength for those messy up close situations. Escape, however, may play to the suits main strength, which is to keep the inhabitant concealed. Tempature supressors and fluxuators, and nanofibers embedded in the fingers and feet of the suit for wall scaling make it a premier stealth weapon.

Armaments: "Lola" - A modified Savage 110 bolt action long range rifle, and Vicks pride and joy. Sporting an adjustable stock and trigger, muzzle brake, .338 lapua Magnus rounds and a free floating barrel, this little baby has everything he needs to get his target talking to angels. It has a scope by formality only as the Overlord system replaced its function. Subjected painted a smiley face on the end of it to "reduce scope reflection."


Springfield XD5 - Old fashioned .45 pistol for when things get splattery.


Interview Debrief: Subject had no immediate family to speak of. Observation showed subject to be morally deplorable and perhaps suffers from multiple personality disorders. Tendency towards deceit aids career in real estate, and also displays lack of conscience. Unable to sustain personal relationships. Interests include booze, illegal narcotics and prostitutes. Displays pathological aggression towards those he sees as threats, but remains cunning and tactical.


Unit Behavior: Troublemaker. Refuses to cease playing practical jokes on staff and other unit members. Responds to every reprimand with "blow me." Vulgar, disrespectful and makes most female staff uncomfortable. Program disqualification repeatedly sugested but subject continues to pass aptitude exams and physicals in impressive fashion.


Subject is volatile and the unit should practice extreme caution in regards to Vick moving forward.

Miscellaneous Information: Best fit for long ranged target elimination, high priority assassination and scouting.


Subject continues to worry staff. Potential hazard to CI9 if subject is compromised. Probability of compromise is alarming.

Mutant Classification: Harnesser


Physical Description: Just like the classic Disney character, Aurora has blonde hair, but she much rather keep it short most of the time. It's easier to manage. Her eyes are very much green, some people would describe them as emeralds set in her skull. Apparently, no one she has spoken to is all that eloquent. She stands barely at five feet, three inches.


Mutant Capabilities: The Genesis affected the production of pheromones and her olfactory senses. Subject affects the moods of humans and non humans around her, along with being able to pick up various scents normal humans would not be able to.

Augmentations:


O classification of the W series - Subject has augmentations that appear to be face henna tattoos. These helps the subject block out scents she is currently not looking for and identify scents she is.


P classification of the W series - Subject has inlays on the side of her arms (triceps) and her thighs. These inlays help control the release of pheromones when she's stressed or overly excited. The inlays on her arms measure about four inches long by two inches wide with rounded edges. The inlays on her thighs are twice that size with the same rounded edges.


S classification of the W series - Subject has scent dispensing grenades which she either presses against her inlays to inject pheromones or breathes into it if inlays are covered. (Also classified as Armament)


S.1 classification of the W series - Subject carries with her grenades meant to neutralize previously deployed pheromones or scents. (Also classified as Armament)


Armaments: Pistol, DMR, baton, S class; series W grenades and S.1 class; series W grenades.


Interview Debrief: Not much was said about the subject when co-workers, worked at a small bookstore, were asked.


"Quiet, I guess. I never really saw her that much."


"Pitiful looking girl, really, not to be mean or anything."


Her parents confirmed her quiet personality. They hinted at agoraphobia, but she was never properly diagnosed.


All in all, subject is a quiet homebody with little or no combat/self defense training, but is easily lead.


Unit Behavior: Subject was also identified as an avid reader and dreamer. She liked to keep a clean and organized space (work and home). She is easily stressed or excited, but when someone with confidence or a higher authority speaks with her about a task, she does not waste time. Recommended to be in the room for peace talks.

Mutant Classification: Natural


Physical Description: 5'4'', Pale skin (where showing), Dark brown hair. Mutation has caused the growth of smooth dull green scales across subjects body with focus on the regions covering vital organs, the skin to scales ratio is currently sitting at 50/50. Unknown if they will spead with time. Subjects eyes have a slit pupil and yellow/gray pigment, described as 'Snake-like'. Subject also possess internal venom glands, leading to fangs within the mouth.


Mutant Capabilities: Hardened scales covering most of the body, able to resist small arms fire and cutting weapons such as knives. The scales do not help against blunt trauma. Superhuman reaction speed and reflexes, could possibly dodge a bullet if the subject was aware it was coming. Not as much strength as you'd expect from a Natural, but the speed makes up for that. Subject also posses venom glands, the venom is seemingly unique and anti-venom is being created for our own use. Fitting with the theme, the subject also possess an extra sense, allowing her to perceive the thermal spectrum.


Armaments: First, a custom knife with hidden container to allow the storage of venom within the grip, a small release button causes the venom to coat the blade.


Second is a pair of lightweight pistols, effective when combined with the subjects enhanced reflexes.


Interview Debrief: Subject was in final year of university, studying biology. Parents described the subject as outgoing and good at making friends. Interviews revealed the subject was known by most students in her course. Large turn out at the funeral.


Unit Behavior: Subject was described as optimistic and focused on making friends. Subject seems suitible for working on a team.

Miscellaneous Information: Subject seems to be an ectotherm, recommended not to be based in cold climates.

    Physical Description: Subject seems to have an abysmal height of 4'10" tall and weighs 105 pounds. currently subject has a wingspan of 8'2". Feather's eyes currently are a dull grey. Her hair reaches down to the middle of her back and is onyx black to match the metallic looking feathers her wings posses.


    Mutant Capabilities: Subject has a pair of jet black wings with metallic looking feathers in them. The edges of these feathers are sharp enough to pierce and tear through flesh and some light armors. Subject can fly however prefers to walk so that she can use her feathers as long range projectiles to assault her targets. Feathers grow back normally within thirty seconds unless inhibited by subject becoming panicked or severely injured.


    Augmentations: N/A

    Interview Debrief: Subject seems to have no close friends or relatives as none attended the funeral. What information we've gathered is that she dropped out of high school after her family died at age 16 and has been roaming the streets looking for purpose in life since.


    Unit Behavior: Unit shows signs of distrust towards men and will lash out violently when sexual advances are made. Outside of interactions with the opposite gender, subject shows no signs of desire to interact. The subject isolates often grabbing a book or staring at a painting rather than communicating. However, the subject does respond when spoken to and will proceed with conversation out of necessity. Subject remains calm and uses logic to dictate actions over emotions more often than not and has shown excellent leadership qualities.

Physical Description: 5' 5", or 165.1 cm. 128 pounds. Very lean body and heavily muscular. High stamina due to countless hours spent running. Subject keeps hair long, but puts it up regardless. Left handed. Entire right side of her body is covered in tattoos that all contain meaning. Her left eye is miscolored purple, and the pupil in that eye "leaks" and is unable to take the proper circular shape.


Unit Behavior: Attempts to irritate those around her with ridiculous, absurd theories that piss people off because of the highly controversial nature of them. When starting a conversation like this, she is fierce, and devotes full support to her argument even when she knows it is wrong. Out of conversation, she appears slothful and bored. Always willing to offer advice.


Misc. Inf.: Hydro, Claustro, and Taphephobic. Also shows signs of misophony.

Mutant Capabilities:
Vex secretes the alkali metal francium, which in combination with water, explodes with the equivalent energy of a pound of RDX explosives per gram of water and francium combined.


Augmentations: Vex was issued a permanently-attached vest protecting the francium secretion, keeping it safe from the elements as any water touching it would be absolutely catastrophic. The vest covers her entire back, her chest, some of her stomach, and extends down the right arm to the tip of the thumb, where a small nozzle is. The vest is completely asymmetrical, as it only covers areas secreting pure francium, and is easily hidden by clothing.


Armaments: One three-hundred pound transforming mechanism that takes the form of an artillery piece, a massive anti-materials sniper rifle, or transportation in the form of a motorcycle.


Artillery form: The mechanism unfolds into a massive artillery piece that takes five minutes, 32 seconds, and 13 milliseconds to set up anywhere. It first folds up into its most compact form, scans its surroundings, then sets out the anchor legs.


**If the artillery piece cannot find sufficient anchorage, it will not deploy. Example conditions would be muddy ground, swampland, or similar circumstances.


The artillery piece then unfolds, opening a hatch for loading in the special shells. Vex must then fill two areas of the shell with francium, the propellant half and the payload half independently. Because of the massive demand of francium, she is unable to fire this weapon many times. Of course, there is also the issue of transporting ammo.


Motorcycle Form: The mechanism folds into a cube, then slowly moves its pieces into place. The entire process takes barely a minute. Afterwards, the francium-powered engine can be easily refueled in about five minutes. The engine takes very little francium, barely a gallon, to run for hundreds of miles. However, if the motorcycle were to be submerged in liquid, it would explode violently.


Anti-Material Rifle Form: The mechanism folds out into a ten foot long rectangular prism. Afterwards, it takes shape and rapidly places its various parts in place in exactly two minutes. The scope is manually mounted by Vex, and is easily adjustable to up to 100x magnification. The shells are held in a magazine, but require Vex to fill the propellant and payload with varying amounts of francium depending on the amount she has to spare, the distance the bullet needs to fly, etc. Inside the main body of the bullet are actuators that can accurately correct the bullet if minor mistakes are made by the shooter, but are not very effective past that. The farther the shot, the more time the actuators have to correct the flight path.


Interview Debrief: Vex is only useful for loud missions. Very, very, extremely loud missions. Or high value target assassination, because her margin of error is almost 0. However, collateral damage might as well be her code-name, due to the nature of the projectiles she fires. She is unable to use any shells other than the ones customized specifically for her weapon, as other shells simply aren't large enough to fit in the barrel, or are designed for being fired from tanks, and would damage the weapon.


Treat with caution. Keep failsafe nearby at all times.

Physical Description: Unit stands at roughly 14'6", he hasn't been measured since his revival. His body is comprised of a high-density combination of metallic carbon fiber and a similar mineral composition to that of marble. His eyes seem to be protected by a thick layer of clear crystalline fibers, yet all you can see when looking into the sockets is white. Unit politely requested to not be subjected to a laparotomy, thus not much else is known about his internal structure. Unit's body is not static in nature, and is prone to mild changes from time to time, to allow for any adaptations.



Mutant Capabilities: Besides the absurd strength possessed by Overgrown naturally, the unit has the ability to incorporate stone and metal based structures into its body, and the unit's body will then incorporate its biology into the structure, allowing the structure to be manipulated and reformed into something more useful. Unit can also shed portions of its body if necessary.



Augmentations: During Marble's training process, someone placed a small spinning satellite dish on top of his head. It is entirely useless and serves no purpose, but Marble has never bothered to remove it since.



Armaments: N/A



Interview Debrief: Before the bullet, Marble was a POW found in a Soviet encampment that was overtaken by CI5. The subject had been tortured extensively, and had no identifiable records to his name. Upon returning to headquarters, the medical team found that his genome would accept the Genesis Bullet. The unit was in a traumatic medical state upon arrival, and so in order to save him the bullet was introduced to his body surgically. Extensive investigations have yielded no further information on the unit.



Unit Behavior: Unit's behavior is primarily passive, and despite being mute, the subject responds to vocal inputs and commands very well, but will not respond unless addressed politely. Unit communicates with physical gestures, and the occasional grumbling.

X Series "Crusader" Armor. While the armor may be simple in design, and lacks any high-powered mobility functions or motorized movement, it's the most durable armor ever made. EMP resistant, withstands nuclear impacts, and ricochets a sable round like it's a ping pong ball. While that might be its only benefit, it's an incredibly nice benefit.



Armaments: Unit carries a large deployable wall shield, made from the same material as the X series armor. Unit also carries the X Series "Dickpunch" Launch Lance. The weapon is designed like a traditional jousting lance, but the point can retract into a heavy duty spring-loaded mechanism that allows it to deploy at high speeds into a target. The Launch Lance also has two propulsion boosters that provide for long range strikes and the ability to cover long distances and scale tall height clearances.



Interview Debrief: Unit was orphaned at a young age, and raised by the leader of a small crime syndicate. Unit was raised with her twin sister, and taught to perform as a professional assassin. Before the bullet, the unit was sent to eliminate a CI8 operative, and upon capture with her sister was provided a choice to accept the Genesis Bullet or live imprisoned thereafter. Unit made the correct choice.



Unit Behavior: Unit is aloof in most situations, and extremely blunt. She appears entirely relaxed, as though unfazed by most situations, and only shows signs of aggression when the safety of her twin is threatened.



Miscellaneous Information: Has a habit of striking people without warning. Take caution.

This augment was issued as a pair of simple earbuds, however, when put into the ears it works as an auditory overhaul, allowing Lila to have superhuman hearing well beyond the range of anyone. It not only expands the range of her hearing capabilities, so that she can hear higher pitched and much lower pitched frequencies, but also amplifies any incoming noises. Using these earbuds at maximum amplification would allow her to hear a pin drop at a thousand feet.

-P.D.V


This augment is the personal deployment vessel, shorthand as P.D.V. The PDV is functional only to a degree as true armor (only immune to small arms fire), as its primary focus is to enhance the mobility of the wearer. The PDV uses hydraulics, motors, and servos to make locomotion extremely easy for the wearer, to the point where any form of movement, despite the intensity, becomes little of an issue. Because of a sensor network placed in the helmet; the suit predicts the movement of the wearer before the electrical signals from the brain can get to the limb, and moves the limb of the suit corresponding to the signal from the brain. When sprinting in the suit, the wearer can easily reach speeds of 50 mph comfortably, and maintain it easily for hours.


Folded into the stomach area of the suit is a satchel containing a large variety of first-aid equipment, that can easily be removed by pressing a switch on the inside of the suit.




Armaments:


"SWAG"


The Swiss Weaponry Armored Gun operates on three different settings: Assault Rifle, Railgun, and Shotgun mode. When set to Railgun mode, the gun folds out into a long, seven foot barrel and starts charging up the massive battery both in Lurid's suit and in the gun itself. After firing, the reload process takes seven seconds. Lurid is unable to move properly until the battery in her suit recharges back to at least ten percent, as firing the gun fully depletes the battery in the gun, and almost fully depletes the battery in her suit. After recharging in about two or three minutes, the railgun is ready for firing again.


When set to assault rifle mode, half the barrel folds to become a bi-pod for a much smaller, more compact style. There isn't much to it, in this stage, other than it uses kinetic rounds instead of electrically charged projectiles like the rail-gun.


When set to shotgun mode, the bipod comes down to form a grip, and half the remaining barrel comes down to make a double-barreled style. However, the ammo for the shotgun is a belt-style, letting it be fully automatic.

Unit Behavior: Very excitable. Wild swings of mood could happen in moments, as if it's a game to her. However, she has a good heart and shows plentiful compassion and empathy towards anyone she sees, despite their situation. Despite this, she also shows extremely violent tendencies when angry and significant bloodlust. Over-all, she is diligent and scrupulous.


Miscellaneous Information: Most of the chairs in this room are broken. Her past is a touchy subject.

Physical Description: Subject stands 1.37 meters in height and weighs 39.68 kilograms, both considerably less than pre-mutation measurements. All body hair was lost, and skin has taken on a slate grey tint, soft scaling, and a mucous layer. Eyes are enlarged, with focusing centers capable of compensating for clear vision underwater. A lobed dorsal fin extends from shoulder blade height to the tailbone, pelvic fins are located on the iliac crests, and pectoral fins are present on the pectoralis muscles. Increased capillary distribution has developed in the tissues surrounding the lungs, with gills appearing at the level of the seventh rib. Smaller bones have been replaced with cartilage, and joints are more flexible. All mutated structures appear similar to the anatomy of
Protopterus amphibius.


Mutant Capabilities: Minute stature and ability to fully submerse provide the subject opportunity to reach locations otherwise inaccessible. Scales protect the dermis and hypodermis, and the subject’s cartilaginous form allows for the contortion needed to fit through small openings. Consider placement in espionage.

Armaments: Subject has been assigned a 1.22 meter trident and a utility knife, both constructed of metal alloys resistant to rust.



Interview Debrief: A French gold medalist for women’s duet synchronised swimming in the 2164 Summer Olympics, the subject retired after being diagnosed with stage IIB lung cancer at twenty six years old. Subject moved to London to seek medical care with a specialist, receiving treatment and reaching remission by thirty. While NED, subject became a representative for a cancer research charity, but tumors reoccurred when the subject reached thirty five years of age, with her five-year survival likelihood placed at 3.52%. Subject was near death at the time of induction to the Genesis program.



Unit Behavior: Described as “tenacious as hell” by family. Subject’s loyalty to causes she sees as deserving of her passion will be valuable– granted she determines our organization meets her moral standards. Termination is recommended in the event of inflexibility.

Ribbon Blades


Her hair ribbons aren't just to keep her hair in the style she wants it, unseen they are actually extremely durable and sharp flexible blades made of top secret government alloy. They are extremely light and malleable. They are electronically operated via nanobots in the material that only give them their sharp edge when in contact with special made gloves made specifically for her that send electromagnetic pulses to the ribbons. Due to this, they are the ultimate stealth weapon as they are completely and utterly concealed as normal everyday ribbon until put in use.


Tazerphone





As the name suggests, she has a cellphone that functions as a normal cellphone, but isn't quite just a normal cellphone. It's actually a tazer and a phone built in one, capable of stunning targets up close and from a range of 10 FT via high powered condensed electric waves. Yes, there is an app for that.


Armaments:

  • 9mm Beretta with Silencer: Bullets go in, bullets go out, pew pew nuff said.
  • Light Kevlar: An extremely light, flexible, and comfortable kevlar to fit under whatever she decides to wear. Protects against small arms fire, knives, and to a minor degree physical blows.

Interview Debrief:


Subject lead a fairly normal and average life according to friends and family. She was always a cheerful girl and participated in both track as wel as gymnastics in college. She generally always went out of her way to help people and was well liked by her many friends and family.


A turn out of roughly eighty people attended the funeral.


Unit Behaviour: Subject is described as exciteable, takaltive, carefree, and generally helpful. Subject was compliant in answering any and all questions directed towards her in a calm and friendly manner, even going so far as to strike up a conversation of her own.

Subject stands at 5'5 and weighs 140 pounds with red eyes and light blue hair, seemingly side effects of the bullet. Subject has grown extremely sharp fangs and 7'6" bat like wings. Subjects build could be described as chubby, though not exactly overweight. More *ahem* 'feminine' features are fairly pronounced.


Mutant Capabilities:


Despite her wings looking to be thin and relatively easy to penetrate with a sharp object, that is far from the case. Although they are light, they are tough enough to guard against moderate arms fire and lesser quality AP ammo. Knives and punches simply glance off of it. Subject is able to fly and prefers to do so over walking akin to her lazy personality. Subject is also able to use her wings as a weapon up close, as it is very disorientating to get slapped by a nearly 8 foot tall sheet of meat. Said wings are also capable of regenerating, albeit slowly, should they be penetrated by anything or damaged by a high force explosion.


Subject has been known to crave more iron in their diet, going so far as to eat raw meat and lick the tray clean of blood. So far subject has not drank the blood of someone else.

Armaments:

  • A Tonfa scythe. A bladed tonfa, more or less.
  • .45 Luger: A fully automatic pistol retrofitted to fire high calibre rounds at a high ROF.


Interview Debrief:


Subject was described as vehemently lazy by everyone spoken to, this includes family members. Subject was said to rarely, if ever, exercise or do physical activities that required a lot of exertion. This attribute was said to carry on to her education, as she simply dropped out of college due to it being to much of a hassle. Subject lived with her parents while 'looking for a job' up until the point of her death while, ironically, she was actually looking for a job.



Unit Behaviour: Subject is described as extremely laid back and lazy, putting in only enough effort into whatever needs doing to get it done on a adequate level and nothing more. Subject reluctantly answered all questions which she carded a 'waste of her time'. Subject didn't appear to be confrontational or adverse to conversation in the least, just adverse to the questions asked.

Physical Description: Standing approximately 11ft tall, Beast walks primarily on all fours (though when standing on two feet he typically hunches his back, making him only 8ft tall) and weighs well into 800lbs. His skin is a light grey color as if his blood has stopped circulating making him appear much like a corpse. His skin is extremely durable despite this and his muscle and bone structure is enhanced well beyond the human norm.


His eyes are COMPLETELY black, there isn't ANY color to them whatsoever making it impossible to tell exactly what he's looking at, you can only make guesses as light still reflects and one can see his eyes rotating as he looks around.


His mouth as grown extremely wide, stretching nearly ear to ear and becoming overgrown (lol) with massive fangs of bone. These fangs are NOT teeth, they are infact part of his skeletal structure and can be incredibly difficult to break or damage in any way. In the event that a fang is broken, it will regrown within two days.


His hands have grown similar 'bone claws' that are also near indestructible and regrown in two days. These claws can rip humans apart with no effort and can even pierce thinner steels.


Mutant Capabilities
: His mutations have given him numerous skills and abilities, aside from being inhumanly strong (he can rip the locked hatch off a tank or throw cars with some difficulty). Beast is also disturbingly agile for his size, on all fours he can run up to 50MPH or sprint in short bursts of up to 80MPH.

Blood Scent-

One of the many mutations of was the uncanny ability to smell blood from a mile away. Like a theoretical land-shark he can smell the blood in wounds and closes in on his prey.



Ballistic Skin-

Beast had his skin mutated so as that it can withstand several impacts from low-grade ballistic weapons. Essentially his skin serves as full body Kevlar and can allow Beast to bull rush a firing squad before ripping them apart.



Interview Debrief: Being a squatter in New York City, Kyle didn't have any close friends or family but upon closer inspection shows that a missing persons report was filed for him in Oregon almost 25 years prior. It's unclear what happened to 3 year old Kyle Standish or what drove him to New York City and likely will be lost forever due to his degenerative brain functions. His parents were informed that his skeleton was found in a burned down building in New York, giving them closure if but somber.


Unit Behavior: As his name implies, Beast acts like a hungry predator. His appetite never quite satiated, Beast has been seen devouring entire humans one after the other until his body could not hold anymore and he regurgitated the offal that he had eaten. Beast is to be kept on close watch while inbetween missions as his behavior is erratic much like a predator during a hunt. While on missions, Lullabies that are played on Xylophones seem to calm Beast down enough to cease his endless hunger and retain enough mental capacity to follow orders or to speak. Pre-recorded Lullabies are recommended to be brought along with Beast on any mission.

Beast will not wear headphones, making this Lullaby effect difficult while on-base unless played through a PA system though it may get tiresome for the rest of the Units.

Augmentations: Augmentations include full body kevlar armor that absorbs shocks from blasts and large amounts of force. Special wrist and ankle braces beneath equipment allow the subject to lift more three times her weight, increase the speed of her reflexes, and send shock signals to her muscles for adrenalin boosts when running on energy or health. However, the braces cannot be activated for extended periods of time due to the risk of the equipment overheating which can kill the subject.

Interview Debrief: Before the bullet, the subject lived on a small but quaint piece of land in Louisiana with her mother and older brother. Her mother was terminally ill, her father was deceased, and by helping her mother with treatment, the subject couldn't afford college (although she was excellent in academics). The subject's mother was too sick to work and looked to her children for support: Her eldest brother was a convicted felon and had difficulty finding work that wouldn't land him back in prison. Her other older brother (who enlisted in the army, went overseas, and was never heard from again) sent checks the subject and her mother every month to help support them, but it wasn't enough. The subject took up a job as a waitress at a sports bar during the day and gambled in underground cage fighting at night. More proficient in cage fighting than pretending to like people, she made most of her money by illegal means. The subject seemed to have no close connections with anyone outside of her family. Only relatives and locals attended her funeral.


Unit Behavior: Subject has yet to show much social interaction. During the study, it is found that the often retreats to her quarters in her free-time to write in a journal. When with others, she revealed a very calm and balanced, but still mainly kept to herself. She occasionally displays a soft, nurturing demeanor (mainly with her mother), but it is very rare. Her strengths are her abilities to persevere, focus on given tasks, and push herself beyond her limits. Her weaknesses are her stubbornness, her compassion, and her inability to let go. Subject cooperates well when given orders, but refuses to speak about her personal life or share what she writes in her journal. She seems to be witty with her few remarks and very blunt, but she shows compassion to those she is meant to protect.

Subject black hair and abnormally pale, electric blue eyes (as if blind).


Mutant Capabilities: Subject has the ability to harness, generate, and transfer thermal energy and electricity.


Augmentations: Subject is augmented with steel armor (Belt and arm braces only) that quickly eject and retract steel chains. These steel chains are used for rappelling down large fixtures, strangling/restraining enemies, locking onto enemies, and conducting electric current. Chains extend to a maximum of 32 ft.

Interview Debrief: Subject lived away from family on the outskirts of Metro Detroit. During his "final days", he drove thirty minutes to work in a manufacturing plant in the inner city of Detroit Michigan. He was tasked with operating heavy machinery and being responsible for their conditions. Subject maintained minimal contact with parents and other relatives, due to his disgust towards their criticism. The subject had two younger sisters who excelled in academics, school-sponsored sports, and recreational dance, but he didn't do so much as picking up a needle and get into fights in his younger days. Although 4 years clean, his parents still ostracize him for his past. Despite this, his family still attended his funeral, but were mostly driven by their condescendingly sympathetic ways. The subjects close [surviving] friends and his sisters were genuinely sorrowful towards the subject's sudden departure.

Unit Behavior: Subject is very nonchalant and laid-back in terms of being social, but he does take work very seriously out of fear of going broke, becoming depressed, and relapsing. He does have his stagnating periods of laziness though. Subject has a hard time opening up about his past and personal life and is easily offended by those who complain too much but have it easy.

Physical Description: Santa stands at a towering 12 feet tall, and resembles a mythological dragon. He has black scales and a 14 foot wingspan. He has sizable claws on his hands, feet, and wings. He also has a few gray horns on his head, and they poke through his hat. he weighs 9 tons and has a nice sheen to his scales and red eyes.


Mutant Capabilities: Aside from incredibly strength, Santa can fly using his wings, although not very fast. He can also use these wings to produce a hefty gust which can knock back objects that weigh around 100lbs or less at his strongest. He likes to bite things and has a large jaw strength as well, munching on cars and the likes. His scales are also hard as steel and are flame resistant.

Augmentations: N/A

Armaments: He has a large Santa hat which he wears at all times.


Interview Debrief: Richard was known to his co-workers as the man who never slept. He was always the first one to clock in, and the first one to go home. Yet, some people speculated he lived at the office and had no family. People tried to find any evidence of him sleeping in the office, but had no luck in the matter. Other than this, his co-workers rarely spoke with him.


Unit Behavior: The only thing Richard can remember from before he was shot was a very vague version of the story of Santa and Christmas. Richard believes that he was in fact Santa Claus and delivered presents to children. He likes to go around making children smile, but they usually just run away terrified whenever they see him, which makes him sad. Other than this, Santa likes to wish everyone a merry Christmas. He's pretty slow, mentally and physically, but this does not seem to bother him.

Physical Description: Standing 5' 11", rarely seen without his weapon of choice, a purple, customade bike, he wears matching purple armor and has a flaming head, with a white skull floating atop his neck. He has two horns jutting from his skull.

Armaments:


Doomrider is equipped with medieval age purple body armor plates. Not great against bullets.


Interview Debrief: The sociopath known as Michael was seen mugging a Harley Davidson store before his death. Before that however, he was known to be a motorcycle enthusiast who's will to ride has kept him with tough jobs, and tough breaks. Recently, due to a recent police discovery of a cocaine stash with "Return to Michael Vaugn", that has all changed as his luck finally ran out and he was jobless again.
