Heyo this is the cs page for The future of Jarack! I've only put the bare minimum that I need to see to accept a cs but feel free to add to it if you want. Once I rate your sheet with a cookie your character is accepted.
If I rate it with a heart then that means I'm super proud and impressed with what you put down.
(I probably didn't have to ask you to edit one thing! You impressive person you)

I'll post my cs when I get time and as I have multiple characters I may bunch some in the same post under spoilers. Sorta hoping more people arrive to replace my extra characters aha

Lyle of Jareedi
The eldest child of Queen Shina

Age: 25
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 142lbs
Sexuality: He's only really interested in people who can best him in one-on-one combat.

Detailed Description: Lyle has long black hair that is braided and typically out of the way for sparring, or anything fighting-related. In casual settings, he allows it to fall loosely. The Prince is tall and lean, but he is still a worthy opponent in hand-to-hand combat and sword fighting. He has deep-set, light brown eyes that resemble his late father, and a scowl to match. Lyle has scars from sparring and training, the most notable being a long spidery scar from being hit by a lightning spell. He typically wears all-black formal clothes or is suited up for brawling.

Personality: Prince Lyle is standoffish, coming across as disinterested and aloof. He would rather settle a debate with a fight to the death and finds every excuse he can to not be stuck in a conversation. He leans on his sisters to do the talking, as they are both far more talented when it comes to the skill of speechcraft. Although he is proper and often antisocial, Lyles cares deeply for his family. He shows his love in odd ways, and wouldn't hesitate to kill someone for threatening the Princess'.

Magic Abilities: Lyle is skilled in earth magic. Most commonly he uses stones and hard clays to crush his enemies, even drowning them in sand.

Strengths: Agility, Stamina, and brute force
Weaknesses: Socially constipated, can be distracted easily when it comes to family,
out of all three siblings, he is the least ambitious
Likes: Sparring, training, reading, and favors dainty look daggers
Dislikes: Long discussions, the dark, and clingy people
Fears: Lightning

Other/Extra: As a child, Lyle once broke the arm of another child who had spoken ill of his twin. The child whose arm he broke is now one of his closest (non-relative) friends.

Equipment/Gear:

Quicksilver Daggers
Twin daggers forged by one of the most renowned blacksmiths of Jareedi. Lyle carries these on him at all times. These were a gift from his twin sister when he came of age.

grzegorz-kozlowski-avatar.jpg
Bladed Brass Knuckles
Perfect for close combat, and sturdy enough to break bones, these blades were carved from the bones of a whale by an unknown shaman. There are rune details along the bone, which are written in an unknown language. These weapons were found discarded near a mountainside, and Lyle was given permission from his mother to wield them.

Name: Yahno Stawa

Kingdom: Akuma

Age: 28

Gender: male

Sexuality: straight

Personality: Confidence in human form, Yahno is as charming as he is devious. A Curious and hungry nature that always pushes the man forward towards his goals and desires. Yahno is fond of social events and situations despite lacking the noble presentation and effort those from Jareedi or Maho display.

Appearance: standing at 5ft10 with messy black hair and a bright blue eye. Yahno is definitely handsome if he is cleaned up and smiling, his left eye was lost in battle and his face is usually wrapped in cloth to hide this.
Like most from Akuma Yahno is athletic and strong from growing up in the altered lands. One might say he is in tremendous physical condition.
Yahno has many marks from battle but only the one noticeable scar across his eye and nothing worth mentioning below the neck. Usually wearing simple clothes that are easy to move in but prefers robes.

Mana: Yahno is talented with electricity, able to conjure and control thunder and lightning in various ways.

Strengths:
Peak physical form, like most from Akuma Yahno has strength and speed from growing up as a tribal in the wilds.
Talented, years of practice with his mana have resulted in Yahno being inspiring and fearsome with his control of electricity.
Talented warrior, a formidable combatant at close range or a distance.
Adept with runes, yahno lacks the knowledge to be considered a rune master but he is better than most when it comes to magic crystals.
Hunter gatherer, well versed with survival in the wilds of all Jarack.

Flaws:
Missing a eye, can only see out the right eye.
Addict, the alcohol from Jareedi and Maho are leagues better then the fermented fruits the Akuma manage to make. Yahno will always drink if it is available to him.
A smokers cough, the Akuma smoke herbs for medicinal and recreational purposes. Yahno took that to heart and the results often ruins his own stealth attempts.
Naive, despite travelling around Jarack and learning much Yahno still is unaware of many different things and customs. Such as bowing infront of royalty for example.
Can hardly read Jareedi or Maho text, oddly though his handwriting of both is notably decent.

Gear:
Yahno prefers to wear one of the simple robes bought from Jareedi, red, purple, black, green blue etc.
Yahno carries a dragontooth dagger.
dragontooth.jpg
As a chosen warrior of Akuma Yahno was gifted armor and multiple treasures from the Akuma vaults.main-qimg-618e2e515629efb748510d5a00a61600.png

A variant of "Chosen" Armor Akuma warriors might wear.
17cdcd0cdc0a0b5c9fcfed886b78b3a4.jpg

Backstory:
Yahno Stawa grew up like most in Akuma with family and friends living off the wilds, though Yahno learned the other lands would call his people savages and tribals he still enjoyed and respected the Akuma way of life. Living in simple homes, dressing in the furs of slain monsters and beasts, hunting and foraging, earning your rank and honour in combat.
At the age of fourteen Yahno was already considered a talented and worthy hunter, by age sixteen he was chosen as a elite warrior and gifted his treasured rune blade and protective garbs/armor.
It was then he decided to roam the lands to see what he could find and learn. Yahno was able to travel across Jarack and experience much, he became addicted to Maho wine the moment he tasted it. It's safe to assume Yahno has committed crimes across the lands and has either been sneaky enough to go unnoticed or to powerful for local authorities to detain or kill.
After five years of roaming Yahno returned home to find his aged father working to unite the various tribes of Akuma, Yahno helped.

At age twenty five Yahno and a team of hunters had a encounter with a mysterious enemy. Though casualties happened Yahno was able to lead four hunters to defeat a full ship of invaders. Welt offered a treasure to each as a symbol of gratitude, Yahno chose the blaster.
A woman slightly older than yahno named Anah Kel taught the man how to operate the projectile weapon as she was given a scoped blaster years ago.
The two grew to love each other but unfortunately Anah was killed by a blast of magic in battle, Yahno was able to avenge his love and recover her treasure. Despite the sorrow it brought Yahno kept the scoped blaster to remember her by. (And the Maho scum who cursed her)
At present times Yahno is known throughout Akuma as king Welt's eldest son,"the trusted traveller"

Extra:
Only the elite and chosen of Akuma have space weapons, if they all did this would be a much different story.

The majority of Akumans use weapons made from beasts and monsters or have "found" proper weapons off the brave travellers who venture into Akuma.

description

It takes a conscious effort on one's part to ignore Layla.

She, like her brother, stands at 6'2, cutting a striking figure amongst others, and easily draws a crowd with her winsome appearance and character. Her wardrobe tends to be more conservative, preferring dresses and suits that leave everything to the imagination.

03.

personality

Layla paints herself as dainty and demure, a fragile flower incapable of enacting harm upon others. She is soft-spoken, and is generous in giving her aid to those in need. But that's simply all it is: a painting. In truth, many of her actions are the result of weighing the pros and cons of every situation. She's certainly not above sacrificing others if it meant she could win.

04.

backstory

Every sea has had its fair share of storms. Even Layla, 'oh-so-demure Layla' was once such a storm. Of her siblings, she was the troublemaker, rebuking her mother at every turn.

Truthfully, the relationship between herself and her mother had not always been so contentious, but after the death of her father, it didn't feel right to see her mother take to the throne so easily. To the young Layla, it seemed like her mother had long been waiting for that moment. She had thought, then, how heartless, (as if her mother had not also mourned his death.) And so, in retaliation, she rebelled.

Often, you would see a young girl stomping about, an omnipresent frown on that face. She would badmouth her mother and would shut out any attempts at reconciliation. The only times she would ever respond in anything that resembled respect was towards her twin brother, who she, surprisingly, continued to get along with.

Now that she's much older, her stance has changed, but by then, it was far too late to return their relationship to what it once was. It was her turn to be on the receiving end.

Her mother, whenever possible, would refuse to meet with Layla, and disproportionately treated her less favourably than she would her other children. And, after all that I had done, why wouldn't she? Following a particularly violent altercation, Layla understood her place.

So, she turned her sights outwards, to grow independent of her mother's shadow. And for a while, it was working. She managed to marry a man that, although didn't love her, respected her. She was able to explore a business opportunity and founded an apothecary that sold luxury perfumes and cosmetics. Her name came to be associated as the Flower of Jareedi, and she was spoken in glowing terms in both high and low places.

Everything was great. Until it wasn't.

Years of having borne no children have soured the once-harmonious relationship between herself and her husband. Soon, he served her the divorce papers. Once again, her world was crumbling. What would people think? They were bound to laugh, to mock, and then, the whole world would share in her mother's disdain for her...

Steeling herself, only one thought resonated in her mind: far better to be a widow than a divorcee.

Many all over mourned Layla's loss, leaving her their condolences that, unbeknownst to them, were being received by the perpetrator herself. Though the guilt gnawed at her, she will always come out first. No matter what.

The years following that were relatively prosperous, but the order from her mother has put a stop to all that.

05.

power

mana

Layla possesses water magic, keyword being possess, as she merely has the ability. She has neither the natural aptitude nor the time to perfect it as much as her siblings might have. While incapable of great feats (ie. creating tsunamis,) she does have an accurate grip and excels in fine-tuned manipulation, so long as it's on a smaller scale.

strengths

— ➤ Her choice of weapon is rather unconventional, at least by Jareedi standards, in that she prefers poison to swords and magic. Thankfully, she's fairly good at it, enough that she could potentially get away with (more) murder.

— ➤ Everyone from Jareedi knows that Layla was once an aspiring jockey, competing in as many tournaments as she could in her youth, and winning quite a fair number of them for her expertise in horseback-riding and mounted archery. Still, it's been some time since she's held a bow, and much longer since she's ridden the saddle, so she is out of practice.

— ➤ While there are still whispers of her delinquent past, far more are keen to point out her charisma and her charitable deeds. Layla, though impeded by her mother's disfavour, seems to still be a well-loved figure by the people.

limitations & weaknesses

— ➤ The very first time she had seen a corpse, it had been that of a beggar that had been run over in a carriage accident. It stuck with her how easily human lives could be taken with, and even more so when she saw the corpse of her then-husband. Traumatised, Layla has developed a fear of corpses and is incredibly averse to the idea of her personally taking lives. If lives must be taken, she'd rather a guard or an attendant do it in her stead.

— ➤ Unlike her twin sibling, Layla has always preferred the courts to the battlefield. She's in her element navigating through the intricate workings of high society, but against opponents that intend to physically harm her? Dead-weight. Because of her inexperience in combat, she's far more likely to die in the ensuing chaos or be taken hostage.

— ➤ As a public figure, the actions she can outwardly take in retaliation are small. Constrained by her image, Layla must always act as a paragon, peerlessly virtuous in every sort of way. Her vengeance can only be meted out in the shadows.

gear

— ➤ Layla is never found without her cosmetics on-hand. Hidden within some of these cosmetic vials are poisons that she keeps in case of emergencies.

— ➤ It's not unusual for someone to request from Layla a performance, so she's made a habit to bring a small lyre in her suitcase wherever she went.

— ➤ Though it's never seen use, Layla keeps a small dagger her twin brother had given her, because "you never know what could happen."

[+] Name [+]
Annelise Bravehart

[+] Kingdom [+]
Maho

[+] Age [+]
27

[+] Gender [+]
Female (She/Her)

[+] Sexuality [+]
Demi-romantic, Pansexual

[+] Personality [+]
Anne is generally joyous; maintaining a bubbly positive attitude most of the time.
That being said, she's not always rainbows and sunshine, in fact she's often scarily serious.
Often putting up a guard and crafting a delicate cold exterior. She will not do this unless she feels she needs to.
Typically to new people she meets; she is joyous but not overly bubbly. She is often skeptical of the new.
Just to point out another aspect of her personality; she is occasionally surprisingly stealthily flirty.

[+] Appearance [+]
Height - 6'3
Weight - 167
She has several battle scars that litter her body.

[+] Mana [+]
Anne spent many years perfecting her magic; she specialized in a few areas.

Perception serpentine - Annelise is able to bend the will of the mind.
This manifesting as voices, visions, or thoughts that come into the victims world.
They decide whether or not to accept them.

Light bending - Annelise was only able to do one thing with this ability.
That was to change the direction of the light and make shadows or darker areas.
Along with this she can also direct light onto someone.

[+] Strengths [+]
Dexterity - Anne is extremely quick and agile.
Going along with this she has incredible slight of hand.

Stamina - When performing physical demanding tasks,
she can do so with ease for a long period of time.

More often then not this can be a pretty bad thing.

Narcissistic - Her whole life Anne had to fend for herself. It was hunt or be hunted

1624414478038.png

[+] Backstory [+]
From a very young age Annelise knew what she had to do. She was the second oldest of Seven children. By the time she was aware of her responsibilities, her older brother was out of the house. He had left to pursue his own life of traveling. To keep a family of eight afloat, her parents were constantly working. Doing the most they could to make money for their children. That left Annelise with the job of taking care of her siblings. In the place where they lived that was no easy feat. She had to learn to manage kids, cook, clean, and even tend to fields. Of course her siblings helped out where they could, but none of them were quite old enough to help with everything. She was constantly working; only really getting a break when the children went to school. She used that time to tend to her own studies. Annelise didn’t go to public school; instead she taught herself. From history to math, earth magic to mind manipulation. It helped that she was smart, so she never really had a problem with it.

Everything had been fine, that is except for one thing. There were raiders that threatened their lands. Annelise had to protect her siblings, so each time they came she had things prepared for them. Food from their crops and things of the like. She would have the children hide in the house, and she would go out to meet them to make sure they didn’t try anything. She covered herself head to toe and never spoke to them. As her abilities grew with mind manipulation, she started to distort their vision of her and her lands. Each time they came back her powers grew more and more powerful, and so did her fighting skills. She had been practicing with a retired army man. He knew of the threat that they all faced living in these lands, and he had seen something in her. He taught her how to defend herself. One day he gave her his longsword. His exact words were “Go. Protect them.” So she did just that. When the raiders came to collect their spoils; they found it wasn’t there. It was just her standing in her cloak. She had her hands wrapped around the longsword, and had hidden it under her cloak. They didn’t see her as a threat, so they didn’t think anything of it as she inched forward. They yelled asking her questions; growing more and more irritated. Once she was close enough, she looked up at them and did what she had to.

She had been 17 at the time. After the raiders had mysteriously disappeared; people started to talk. In a small town like theirs word went around fast. There were fields in between their whispers but it always reached the next person. Then it reached the ears of a trainer of a small guard there in that area. So she naturally went to go see this little girl who had defeated a group of many men. When she arrived Annelise had been training. At the time her parents were home. The trainer and her parents spoke inside the house for an hour or so. The children had been sent outside with Anne. They were all very curious. When the trainer emerged she talked to Annelise. She would go with the trainer and learn to fight properly. Her parents had agreed; they would get a certain amount of money each month and Annelise would get trained.

That’s how Annelise found herself in a town guard. She quickly became the best of the best; both in intelligence and in pure skill. By the time she was 19 she had moved so far up into the ranks; word of her was sent to others. “A person of her greatness shouldn’t stay in a small town,” said her trainer. So, after saying goodbye to her family, she was sent to the heart of Maho to train. The giant city where the castle of Maho lay. Her skill was great and her mind was abundant with wisdom, and she was nearly 20. It’s so sad how even the worst of things happen to people like her. She took a long break from her work, which she had never done before, and came back with a child. Nevertheless, she worked even harder than she had before. She had already been used to taking care of another other than her own so it was easy for her to do. Word of her, a single mother with skills unparalleled, was sent to the royal guard. She had been requested to work for them. Of course she couldn’t refuse. She leaped at the opportunity.

Annelise was 23, and working for the royal guard with a child. She worked loyally for the kingdom for another 3 years. Then she was requested to appear before the king. She went, and got promoted. She had been chosen to be a royal advisor. Or at least at the time; learn to be one. A year later she actually took the title. So that’s how a small town girl with a child found herself in the castle. Through pure skill and determination she made her way all the way up. She still sends letters home to her family, and tells them of her life.

Almond Corey

Age: 7

Weight: 75lb

Height: 4’4

Kingdom: Akuma

Gender: Male

~ Appearance ~

Almond is a bit tall for his age, but he doesn’t really mind nor pays attention at all. His hair is what gave him his name actually due to its almond color despite the light brown gradient on the tip of his hair. He has puffy rather curly hair with his glasses that can be easily mistaken for goggles sitting idly on top of his head that he only wears when he needs them, otherwise his delicate feelings and fear of someone judging him makes him not wear them that much. At least he can show off his beautiful blue crystal-like eyes. He often wears a collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up with a cafe-like styled tie along with lace and ruffles along the shoulder part of the shirt and sleeves along with suspenders and black puffy shorts. He also has lace boots, one going up to his knee and the other at a normal boot length.
( I’ll draw him a picture as soon as possible, hang tight till then! )
~ Personality ~

Almond is a bit shy since he’d rather play with animals than communicate with his own species, tho once he warms up to someone he’d treat them like they were his sibling. He will often cook up special meals for the people he favors and even makes them hand-crafted goods! They’re… poor quality but at least say thank you!

~ Talent: Beastmaster ~

Ever since he was young…er, he found out that he could “control” small animals with ease making them do whatever he wanted them to do ( somewhat at least ). Even tho he’s only 7, the seemingly gifted young boy can already control a dragon. Tho it’s obvious that he needs improvements, he’s thankfully up to the task of bettering himself!

~ The gear in his backpack ~

( pictures are a WIP )

Wilton the teddybear
His fairytale book
His defense ‘staff’ which is just a large stick
Portable gas stove looking invention he made
A bamboo flute he made himself

~ Strengths ~

good cook - Surprisingly a good cook for his age, anything he makes will leave people refreshed.

Creative - Inspired by the stories he reads in his book he can create a homemade trap for both animals and humans.

Translator - Since he spent the majority of his life so far in the Maho orphanage he learned how to read their language along with quickly learning Akuma’s written language once he came back home.

Kind soul - In general he is a very sweet boy willing to help out anyone he cares about right away no matter the task!

~ Flaws ~

Too curious - His curiosity often leads him dismantling weapons and trinkets, not only is it dangerous but he often leaves them beyond repair and he sometimes does it to his own little inventions.

Gullible - With a mindset that everyone is nice until proven otherwise he believes everyone, even thieves, can be trusted until proven otherwise leaving him vulnerable for kidnappings and such.

Physically weak - Relies on others for defense.

Clumsy - Doesn’t pay attention much and trips a lot. Not really trusted with crystals and glass bottles or anything fragile in general.

~ A bit of backstory ~

Due to an incident involving a very dangerous beast chasing his parents, they hid him somewhere in the woods right when he was only 1 that just so happened to be near the kingdom of Maho. Luckily tho; before he starved a Maho citizen came along and just assumed he was a child born in Maho simply abandoned and took him to the orphanage in Maho, and that’s how he ended up there in the first place. Thankfully, a specific man who heard the word of a misfit in Maho’s orphanage with a special Akuman like talent went and brought him home; but he never did ditch the clothing and a bit of the lifestyle from the kingdom and he also learned how to read actual words. Little is known about his parents, but the confident goofball will do anything to find them or at least find clues to discover who they were! Other than that, he seems to have adapted an apprentice-like role among the Akuma elites. He was also a slow learner and seemingly had no talent at the time he was in Maho, but he never talks about the orphanage that much.

Extra:

When he talks about ‘mom’ he’s referring to the lady who cared for him at the orphanage. After all, he never met his mom!

Name: Maria Rose Circa

Kingdom: Maho

Age: 23

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Personality: Maria is a kind, caring, and polite princess. They are a bit clumsy when it comes to walking around in high heels, and won't shut up when someone is talking about an interesting topic that she knows about. ( Tea, fantasy books, cooking, and etc. )
They are talented when it comes to using their magic, but will purposely make someone float off the ground a bit if she is dealing with someone she doesn't like. She doesn't show off her anger towards someone immediately, but will do minor stuff to indicate when she is angry by putting more sugar cubes in someone's tea, staring at them for a very long time, or etc.
Maria is an excellent singer and waltz dancer, and may hum a song when nobody is looking in her direction.
They will protect the Maho kingdom from any potential dangers, because they do want to make her father proud of her.

Appearance:
21b2e27432eb12752797747fd5ed4be0.jpg

Her height is 5'7, has blonde hair, and blue eyes.

Mana: Gravity Magic

Strengths:
Singing
Waltz dancing
Cooking
Their magic
Their book has a lot of incantations for her to do
Social

Flaws:
Useless without her book or wand
Can be clumsy when she is wearing high heels
Their speed and stamina suck, because they are a mage
They want someone to validate how great she is ← Secretly doesn't think that she isn't great like her dad or her siblings

Gear:
A beautiful spell book
A beautiful wand
A necklace artifact with a barrier spell
A ring artifact with an anti-poison spell
Another ring artifact with a major heal spell

Backstory:
To be born into the royal family of the Maho kingdom would be a dream come true for anyone who wants to be a mage or a spellsword knight. However, the reality of that dream is more of a nightmare. Because anyone who wants to become a mage or a spellsword knight has to protect the kingdom from a potential war or the threats.
As for what Maria's life was like, it was calm in the beginning. She had a happy life with her siblings and her father. Because they didn't learn about Ains's incredible teleportation magic, nor about the mage or the spellsword thing, until her gravity magic ended up appearing.
...Oh boy. It was a mistake to give the little princess a wand, since the first thing they tried to do with their gravity magic was to accidentally float off the ground. Everyone had to get the princess, since nobody knew if they were going to hurt themselves if the spell were to wear off. The spell wore off, but they were able to catch Maria before they were seriously harmed. Their lady in waiting then scolded them upon hearing what happened, but she was glad that the princess was alright.
Eventually, her father asked little Maria what they wanted to be when they grew up. They asked her father if they could be like them, and this caused them to be surprised. They weren't expecting her to want to become a mage, but then he realized how little Maria would swing a random stick around from the garden like it was a wand. It didn't do any spell, but it was cute to watch them do that.
King Ains let Maria become a mage, and her magic training was stressful. The young princess would mess up on their incantations, do the wrong spells, and etc, because of how difficult it was to learn how to master her gravity magic. After having to deal with the struggle of learning how to use their gravity magic, they were able to know what their incantations are, and how to use it. She also joined the other mages to protect the Maho kingdom from a war or any other threats, so she can make her father proud.
Extra:
King Ains: Maria looks up to her father like he was blessed by a god, because of how powerful his magic is. She wants to be as powerful as he is, so her family would be proud of her achievements. However, they don't know that her father is using her as a tool.
Siblings:
Rias: She feels bad for her little brother, because he doesn't have a unique magic like her. They do care about him, but how straightforward he is towards her does sometimes hurt her feelings.

Name: Rias Circa

Kingdom: Maho

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Polyamorous/Pansexual

Personality: Rias for better or worse is straightforward about his thoughts and opinions and rarely holds his tongue, especially at the expense of his father and at times can come across as cruel or tactless, that is not to say he is unkind.

Rias is very adventurous and willing to take on or even attempt daunting challenges, whether it be a long forgotten crypt or a visiting diplomat. That adventurous side can also be regarded as impulsiveness as Rais has the tendency to think about the consequences long after the point of no return.

Due to his feeling that love shouldn't be constrained to only two people, Rias very rarely if ever gets jealous when it comes to his romantic interests and their lack of fidelity. In fact most of his partners have been passing fancies, something Rias hopes to remedy one day.

Though he finds his father's ambition uninteresting and borderline silly, Rias too harbors ambitions that could be his undoing.

Appearance: 01228c5f93e552642a071997d99e3536.jpgAdventurer-Ras-1.png

Rias stands at 6'3" weighs 190lbs

Has a scar on his left index finger near the knuckle

Eyes don't have any set color they can simply be described as iridescent

Mana:

Spartial Storage:
"A spellsword does not die empty-handed nor come unequipped"

Rias has the ability to open little pocket dimensions for storage. As overuse and the larger the item placed inside and retrieved take a toll on Rias reserves he can't use the ability more than three times a day.

Barrier Manifestion:
"Protect me from all illnesses and stay all attacks of ill intent"

Rias is capable of summoning and erecting a barrier that surrounds him and juts out about two in every direction.

Strengths: Extremely intelligent and a quick study. Only really needs to be shown how to do something or how it works to understand its applications.

Despite his common magic, his output is nearly unmatched among the kingdom of Maho. His dexterity is often whispered about among the people of Maho, both in and out of the bedroom.

Well versed in non-magical combat whether it be named or armed.

Flaws: As the son of the magic king Rias suffers from mild sense of superiority believing himself more important than he is in some cases. This can be exploited by both playing on his confidence or challenging it.

His lackadaisical attitude has caused a lot of friction between him and a lot of his father's advisors and even his family, to which he regrets even if he doesn't seem like it.

A pacifist at heart. Dislikes combat as a whole after spending time on battlefields training with spellswords and will avoid it if he can which makes many quick to label him a coward.

Gear: Rias gear consists of his spellsword attire, a white hooded cloak, black trousers and brown boots. All magically enhanced to endure magical attacks for short durations and weaved with strands of Rias' hair to prevent his own magic from overwhelming its protections.

When trying to be inconspicuous Rias dons his "commoner attire" which consists of a black cloak, a black long sleeved shirt and black trousers.

Weapons: A magically enhanced sword artifact that Rias uses as a buffer to augment his other magical abilities. Capable of directing a blast of razor sharp wind magic with a swing when in use.

A shield artifact that augments his barrier magic and allows it to expand over a wider area.

Backstory: Being the younger child of King Ainz, Rias expected to have less expectations thrown at his feet. He wasn't prepared for his father's ambitions to cast as big a shadow over his life as it did but what can one expect when they're a child of a king… especially an ambitious one.

From as early as Rias could remember he was studying magic, whether it be incantations, words of power to strengthen or weaken a spell, or keywords to activate various artifacts and found the whole thing pretty morbid. Who would want to kill people for a chance at false glory? What drove a person to make such choices?

Having inherited his mother's capacity to absorb knowledge and his father's magical power Rias never seemed to struggle with anything for more than a week which had many proclaiming him a prodigy not seen in the kingdom's history since the first royal family. At least until his own powers manifested.

As a royal, one is expected to have unique magic even among the other royals and yet here was this child, son of the magic king with the magic of the common folk. Rias remembers it well. It was the last time his father ever looked at him with what resembled pride.

From that day forward the shadow Ainz cast grew smaller and smaller and the expectations Rias inherited all but disappeared giving him more freedom, which he spends chatting up any chambermaid or errand boy who catches his eye, much to the disapproval of the royal advisors.

Rias could care less about his father's ambitions at this point. Whatever plans he has for the fire queen or Jarack as a whole aren't his concern. Though he's not sure his father would agree.

Extra: Probably gonna add something here late

Name: Rowena
Kingdom: Akuma
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual

Appearance:
{Height: 5'11}
{Body Structure: Thin, minimal muscle.}
{Hair: Dark red, kept long.}
{Eye Color: Hazel}

Mana: Mental Influence

Strengths: While she can handle any weapon nearly as well as anyone else, the princess's mind and influence are her ultimate strengths.

Flaws: Limited in her mental influence. Stronger minds are able to ward off her power.

Otherwise, she has a strong moral code that tends to override common sense. In her mind, if one sees an injustice there is no excuse not to simply storm in and right it, not understanding that not everything is black and white, and neither is she always correct in her thinking or her execution of extending justice.

Gear: Carries a bone dagger on her person at all times along with a curved bone-blade stashed on her belt. The curved weapon stretches to three foot in length, six inches in width. Has the uncanny resemblance to a farmer's scythe.
Backstory: Known as the 'delicate one' Rowena is not all what she appears to be.

As a youth, she was quite spirited and constantly found herself on the cusp of trouble. Citizens of Akuma would often jest that the king would have to offer up half his land in order to find her a husband, while others pitied the man for having such an untamable offspring.

The rebellious streak within her was both annoying and invigorating, to say the least.

However, sneaking off to train with warriors, planting venomous (albeit dead) snakes in the grumpy cook's bed, and wrestling with boys, eventually waned as she entered into adulthood.

If the rumors are true, Rowena has no intention of being a pawn in a political game only to be eventually wedded off. In fact, rumors suggest that the princess may have already fallen for a man whom she frequently sneaks out to visit under her father's nose. Of course, some dispute such a claim, but support a much more outrageous idea that she is actually sneaking out in order to carry valuable information to their enemies, casting a traitor's light upon the poor princess.

But what weight can the rumors possibly carry? Rowena is 'delicate' after all.

Dartha Rout,
Age 44
Veteran knight of Jareedi. Blessed with fire magic.
Dartha is a proud soldier of jareedi, a gruff sort with a rough way of speaking to his friends and subordinates, Though towards royalty he attempts to sound like a noble religious warrior, most can tell this is a act.
Stories of a fearsome 6ft7 hulk of a man wielding a flaming mace with one arm are known within the armies of Maho and Jareedi.
14 years ago it was under Dartha's command that the fire army raided the city of Mogga
(now known as Rolragga) taking the grand library of Maho hostage which led to the magic kings surrender.

Salla Deems
Age 35
A elite commander of the spellsword division of Maho's army.
Salla could be considered a eccentric charmer, handsome and in decent fighting shape. Standing just under 6ft

Salla is very casual with his speech and is regarded as having a odd sense of humour, often giggling at his own jokes and at others who haven't even said a joke.
A bisexual flirt who won't hesitate to compliment either gender if they catch his eye.
Has spent most of his life studying two types of magic.
He carries a artefact capable of blasting bolts of electricity.

Force magic,
put simple this magic allows one to put energy into air (or objects )to be used as a projectile, while it isn't sharp like most wind mana these force balls are able to break bones or kill victims with the strongest protection. While more difficult to use quickly Salla is also able to enhance his physical actions with force magic.

Barrier magic,
This magic is simply forming a shield or barrier of magic to defend against anything.
Able to coat himself or project his protection in the shape of a wall.

Salla was promoted to commander after a brilliant strategy involving teleportation and barriers, able to flood and defeat a large portion of Jareedi soldiers 15 years ago.

name: Allois Stawa

kingdom: Akuma

age: 20

gender: male

sexuality: unlabeled(doesn't have a preference for gender or the matters of relationships)

personality: Allois is always curious. He rambles on and on when he gets the chance to talk and creates a hypothesis(a fancy word he loves using). He gets excited when it comes to any form of knowledge and always is asking why. He loves exploring and trying new things even if they seem weird. He is also always writing things down in his book(even though many of it is jumbled and unreadable to anyone with proper schooling in language and contains various pictures). He claims to be a scientist and won't agree with anyone who says otherwise. Is very gullible and will believe most things people say about things to be facts(like someone saying something crazy about something he doesn't know much about), and even if he does know things about them, he won't count it as fake until it is proven wrong or correct.

5162c177f391f068d2beb7155a964f9c.jpg appearance: Allois stands at the height of 5'11 and supports a very thin and lacks the muscles most of his people have. His hair is a moon-like white that usually remains fairly unbrushed. His skin is a tanned tone of pale and is dusted with freckles and moles alike. His eyes are a shade of brown that mixes with orange to form a shade akin to red.

mana: electric~
1626658755263.pngwhile Allois can use his mana in the usual way of attacking with electricity he prefers to use it more uniquely. Using old mechanisms, he can use the electricity flowing through them to make it look like he can control him. These are extremely damaged and the only thing they can do on their own is power up. Using electricity he keeps them afloat and the most he can do is create a shield to protect him from attacks as well as a beam of energy(laser beam bois)

strengths:

  • learning new things(very fast learner)
  • energetic
  • friendly

flaws:

  • gullible
  • short attention(can't sit still, needs to be learning)
  • physically weak(prefers to avoid attacks)

1626660893068.pnggear: Allois carries a large bag that is far from convenient that is packed with books, robot parts, tools, and other small things such as vials of random plants, a motor and pestle, charcoal pencil, and an ancient artifact that will unseal something amazing(its a coin. the answer of what it is is a coin). He also has a small round mechanism that similar to his powers are in rough shape and the only thing it can do is move around. It also doesn't understand most of the common language so it pretty much just helps out when it knows what's going on(which isn't often). It has no other uses as it is broken and Allois constantly has to fix it(not that he knows how).

backstory: Allois grew up and was trained to fight, but honestly he found it boring, the only thing that interested him were his powers and even then, no one could answer all the questions he had about them. He searched for knowledge and they simply didn't have what he was looking for, no one seemed to and he felt like an outsider. That was until one day he met a woman who claimed to be a 'scientist who had snuck into their country to research it. Allois was hostile until he grew too curious. She told him stories and taught him things he never knew had answers. From there he labelled himself as a scientist and wished to become like her.

She left him books(mostly picture books at first) and taught him language. In exchange, he gave her info on the land and how to avoid being caught. She left after a while but promised to return after some time. Allois has been waiting since then and hopes to see her again to learn more. Since then he has been making his own scientific discoveries(more like seeing things that have already been discovered and giving them weird names). He seeks knowledge and has become even more outcasted from his family, every day sneaking off when he can to explore ruins and open locked doors on their 'home'.

Name: Yelae Hart

Kingdom: Jareedi

Age: 20

Gender: female

Sexuality: asexual

Personality: impulsive and emotional, Yelae has is a spirited woman who can seem immature at the best of times and reckless at the worst. Her deep sense of loyalty towards her country and religion has made her both bold, as well as close-minded towards anything beyond this.

Appearance:
92b2012c0636e23f00d037504e3d4dbe.jpg

I found out this FC is a skin or something from a game (not sure how popular...) but imma go with it anyway since I really do love the design. I hope this doesnt rub anyone the wrong way haha ^_^'

Thanks to a sickly childhood, Yalae has grown into a woman of less than average height, built with lanky, taunt muscles on an underweight frame. She has an almost immature look, which is also influenced by her behaviour. Her legs, upper arms, and lower cheek are covered in burn-scars, which have since been 'enhanced' by deliberate scarring to make it into a design replicating flames and a phoenix. She has ruby eyes and silver hair kept long to replicate her older brother's style. This is meticulously maintained by servants.

Youngest.png

Mana: Fire.
Yelae is blessed with a potent flame mana that strengthens and wanes with her emotions, making it rather difficult to control when she gets emotional. She uses this to summon blasts of flame, or cloak her weapon and sometimes body in flames.

Strengths:
  • Skilled mage. Has a high degree of power and control over summoning flames.
  • Quick combatant. Learned most of her combat style from her brother (begged him to teach her a few tricks) and relies on speed to counter her fragility.
  • Strong will. Extremely determined when she sets her mind to something. You'd be hard pressed to make her give up.
  • Dancer: light on her feet and agile, Yelae's years of ceremonial dancing has made her moves graceful and her balance cat-like.
  • High pain tolerance. Evident by the artful burns across her body, she is no stranger to discomfort.

Flaws:
  • Weak constitution. A terrible immune system and fragile body. Can't take many hits in combat.
  • Lightly armoured; proudly shows off her ceremonial scars and wears clothing that will accommodate this. She believes that the only armour she needs is her faith, and that the spirits will protect her from harm.
  • extremely reckless; believes that the spirits will determine when she will die, and that she should carry out their will no matter the danger.
  • Close-minded and blindly loyal to her mother, faith and country. Can make her cruel towards enemies of the above and unable to see their point of view.
  • Impulsive and emotional. She doesn't hide her emotions and has a mighty temper.

Gear:
Dragonbone spear. A ceremonial weapon given to a chosen warrior of the faith. It is lightweight, sturdy, and extremely resistant to fire. Bone is a dull off-white bound by crimson silk.
662b642ac81d14e7835d7813a4ae8b52.jpg

Backstory: Yelae was always envious her elder twins, not just the bond between them, but how... perfect they were to her. More than anything she wanted to be like them. They were intelligent and skilled in the art of war, two sides of what it meant to be Jareedii royalty. Meanwhile, she was born feeble.

As early as 5 years of age Yelae came down with a terrible sickness. She had trouble gaining weight and often had a cough and fever. The skin on her limbs and part of her face were chronically covered in sores.

More often than not she was restricted to her chambers, or if it was a good day, the royal castle. Sometimes she would sneak out, only to be found crying from her bloody limbs or curled up and wheezing from too much exertion. As much as she hated her worsening condition, she hated the disappointing her family more. In whatever way she could, she would try to prove her worth --be it studying history, religion, or the control of her mana -- but it never erased her ever growing fragility.

Eventually the disease progressed enough that she was completely bedridden and fell into a coma. This lasted for almost a week before she suddenly awoke.

During her fever dreams she claimed to have met the Phoenix spirit, who she believed spared her life. In exchange, she vowed to become an agent of the spirits. She steadily got better from her illness, which she took as a sign of her 'rebirth'. Using her fire magic she burned away the diseased flesh, carving out symbols of the great phoenix spirit instead. Much to perhaps the disturbance of her family, but adoration of the priests.

The priests of the Jareedii faith claimed her to be a chosen of the spirits and welcomed her, not only as a holy one, but also a unique opportunity to extend their influence through the royal family. This caused a tension between the king and the faith over who could influence, or control, the impressionable girl.

Extra: absolutely adores anything related to dragons and phoenixes. Would steal a dragon egg if her mother would not punish her severely.

Name: Prince Nohren Hart

Kingdom: Jareedi

Age: 22 years old

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Personality:

Nohren has always been one to charge into battle head on or tackle any problem with fierce determination and an unbending force of will. He always strives to prove himself, but he realizes that sometimes one must do more than prove themselves to achieves their goals. He is a leader at heart with the soul and essence of a warrior. He is a man of action when called for and words when they are needed most, but he understands someone clearly when he has them locked in battle. To Nohren, a fight is like a greeting until it crosses the line of life or death.

Nohren can be calm and collected when such a thing is required of him, and in those moments, he always greets others with a smile, but behind those crimson eyes of his, the lust for combat grows stronger by the second. When he is not getting antsy though, he is usually friendly and high-spirited.

Appearance:

Nohren.PNG

Nohren is a young man that stands at a height of five feet eleven inches (5'11"). His skin is a lighter tan and his hair is raven black. He often prefers to wear garments that allow him to display the markings upon his body. Markings that he has bore since he first began fighting for both himself and his people. Some would even mistake him as some manner of barbarian when in combat attire. When he is not in his revealing armor, he is dressed in clothing befitting nobility, though it will be seen as something more loose and comfortable.

Across his body are scars, some well healed with time. Many of these marks are from damage dealt to him by monsters of the world or those who would desire his end. Smaller details of him would be the markings that adorn his body. Two rings round his arms, stretching as far as his abdomen. They look like two large suns, as if he proclaims he wields the fury of the sun itself. Running down the length of the left side of his face are two lines similar to the other markings of his body, all of which are colored the same as his eyes. A deep and eerie crimson.

Mana:

Manipulation and creation of fire. When he first began to take up arms, his use of his peoples strength in the way of fire was miniscule and unimpressive. With time however and practice upon unfortunate victims, Nohren has tempered and strengthened his use of fire. Like a tornado of flame, he rips through enemies and sometimes allies alike to dominate opposition and rise to the top.

Strengths:

Toxic devotion
(When he is focused on achieving a goal, he will do anything and everything to achieve it. Such drive has often endangered those close to him.)

physical abilities
(Nohren has been fighting or trained to fight since he was young, yet still of age to engage the enemy in battle. With time he has become a prime warrior of his people.)

leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire the people of Jareedi
(Nohren demonstrates his desire to stay strong to his people despite the recent desire for cooperation between the kingdoms. He shows that he is ready for anything, just as all of Jareedi should be.)

Flaws:

Bullheaded
(Nohren has a tendency to break down his composure when he is challenged. It often causes him to walk right into obviously laid traps. Though it's his ability to break out of those traps that sometimes saves him from his own downfall.)

Slight lack of compassion
(As one who believes in chasing your passions at all costs, he does not sympathize with those that have nothing or struggle to make something of themselves. The reason for this is because he thinks that if they still live despite everything, then they truly haven't put everything on the line to get what they want. One can always risk their lives for glory.)

Gear:

Nohren sword.PNG Nohren fist weapon.PNG

Nohren wields his weapons with pride, even going so far as to carry them with him day to day to show that he is not willing to part with them for long. He carries with him a sword, spiked and wrapped in a brilliant red cloth with a unique pattern running along the flat of the blade. The other weapons he carries with him are a pair of twin bladed gauntlets. Both weapons are often found bound to his belt, the blade in its sheath across the back of his belt and the gauntlets bound to its sides. When Nohren is in noble attire, his sword is often found directly upon his back.

Backstory:

Ever since his childhood, Nohren has always loved to fight. When at play, it was a fight between good and bad. Who played the roll of the Maho scum or the Jareedi hero did not ultimately matter to him, for so long as he fought, he would fight to win. Sometimes he would become a bit too much, hurting the children he played with, albeit on accident at the time. He was simply insatiable. Often times he offered himself to his father to fight in the war against Maho and his father laughed. "Such a willing soldier. You'd make a fine warrior of Jareedi," he told the boy who was merely the age of six at the time.

Thought denied a life of battle and action by his father for understandable reasons, it did not stop Nohren from seeking his own glory. As a kid it started as adventures through the enormous castle he called home. He explored every nook and cranny of the structure, even going so far as to hide personal treasures in small places that have been forgotten with time. As he played and created his own story, he told his grand tales to his sickly little sister, one who might have appreciated such stories since she was often locked away to keep her from the dangers of the world and prevent her condition from worsening.

He does have other siblings, but he never imagined them having much of an interest in the stories a young lad such as himself had to share, but when their father passed, Nohren's desire for a fight only grew stronger. Such rage built within him from the passing of someone that he truly admired, not only as a father, but as a king. Only age fourteen at the time, he devoted grand amounts of time to honing his skills in combat. No longer did he adventure within the castle, for he took his sword and his spirit to the arena's of Jareedi once he was fit and ready to fight in true combat after he reached the age of sixteen.

He spend grand amounts of time distanced from the castle, adventuring and creating a true story and inspiring the people of Jareedi with his grand feats. He grows trust and a deeper bond with his people, embarking on missions to eliminate troublesome monsters in the countryside that interfere with farming operations. He establishes himself as a person of true strength and heroism in the kingdom, one that will back down from nothing and will forever stay strong in the name of the Jareedi kingdom. What he truly desires though, is something that only sitting upon the throne will give him.

Returning to the castle was his next plan of action. He grew a bond with the subjects under order to protect the castle as well as those within the walls of the massive structure. He was slowly seeding the roots of his plans into being within all he influenced. He must develop a bond with those closest to the throne, for if his eldest sister were to be the one with rights to the throne due to their mothers claim of it. His plans must be put into action, and he would do everything in his power to sit upon the throne his father once sat upon.

Name: Mira Wixx

Kingdom: Jareedi

Age: 31

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Personality:
A woman of genuine kindness, but black-and-white naivety. Mira's friendly demeanor has her connected to many of the servants, some of whom gossip about whatever information they hear every chance they get. She sees no purpose in acting rude or excluding others, finding enjoyment in even the simplest things like small talk. Having served Princess Yelae for most of her life as her personal attendant, Mira is devoted to her and her overall well-being. Due to past incidents, Mira has come to fret over every little injury Yelae sustains (should she notice it). Whether Yelae appreciates it or not, she puts her all into making the princess look as presentable as possible; especially with the hair.

Appearance:
1627616416120.png

Mana: Water
Mira wields a versatile water mana which she mainly uses for housework or daily conveniences. She's used the mana to quickly gather water to douse a warm towel for a frail Yelae, alleviating some of her fever symptoms; swiftly mop up a dirtied floor where a bloodied Yelae curled up on; bringing cups of cold water for a sickened princess. On some excursions, she has used the mana to create a stream of bubbles for crying children.

Strengths:
- Houseworking (as expected of a maid)
- Beautifying (mainly for Yelae)
- Memorization (names, faces, who said what; written in her diary afterwards)

Flaws:
- Mira blanches and freezes at the sight of blood (she forced herself to carry through when nursing a young Yelae back to health)
- Runs her mouth amid gossip (doesn't adjust her volume when chatting with other maid friends)
- Not combat-oriented (not in the slightest)

Gear:
A small, leather diary full of her notable activities, her thoughts of the day, and an abundance of info she overhears.

Backstory:
Mira's family always held the Hart family in high regard as the ones leading their prosperous nation. Their high praises were ingrained in their young daughter's mind for as long as she could remember. They painted an idealistic picture of the Harts, making sure that a stem for any other aspiration in their daughter's environment could never sprout. They personally taught her the proper etiquette, how to efficiently handle housework, and how to address the royals. Though they raised Mira with love, they controlled every aspect of her life just to lead to the specific future they wanted for her. So when they told her that she was going to be a maid for the royal family, she cheered, for she literally could not imagine any different path in life.

And much to the Wixx family's delight, their efforts paid off. As they would learn, however, it wasn't exactly how they envisioned it.

Rather than serve the queen herself or one of the more notable siblings, Mira was designated to be the sickly Yelae's attendant. A position that while her parents stated for her to protest, Mira instead happily obliged.

To say Yelae's condition was exactly as Mira expected it to be would be a lie; it was much worse in person. She'd heard the rumors, but none were ever in vivid detail. None spoke of the sores dotting her body, or how Yelae was confined to a room for most of the time. Mira was even shown the places they found Yelae at during the occasional times she escaped, where blood seeped into the floor and could never come out. Needless to say, the other maids weren't the most eager to care for the sickly child.

Repulsed as Mira may have been, it occurred to her that nobody else would go the extra mile for Yelae. If Mira was to back down because of the princess' sickness, then nothing would have changed. Using the mana she'd been blessed with, Mira cleansed herself and her clothing before entering the princess' chambers, much to her peers' surprise. She wanted to give Yelae company while making the room itself a more pristine environment (the servants slacked off in cleaning there since they were afraid of spreading effects). Her willingness quickly landed her the role as Yelae's personal attendant, which would stick with Mira up to now.

No matter how Yelae acted, Mira became attached to her. She sympathized with the young lady, helplessly noticing how she grew frailer and frailer. Eventually, it accumulated into a week-long coma, one that many were certain was permanent. Nonetheless, Mira continued entering Yelae's room, sitting by her side whenever nobody else was there and making sure her chambers were in the best shape.

When Yelae rose, albeit spewing claims of spirits and "rebirth," Mira was elated. It didn't matter just how the princess became; she was alive. And as long as she was alive, Mira wished to continue her service.

Arden Dupont

Kingdom

Jareedi

Age
23

Gender
Male

Sexuality

Heterosexual

Personality
Arden has spent most of his life preparing to serve and fight for Jareedi, which has given him near unwavering loyalty to the royals. This has also left him somewhat socially stunted though, more often sparring with his peers than making small talk. Most of the time he comes off as distant and reserved, rarely displaying emotion or giving his opinion while dutifully carrying out orders and politely escorting nobles. This silent and uncaring exterior is just that though: an exterior. Internally, Arden is fairly intelligent and has used his ever-present position as royal bodyguard to gain somewhat of a head for political intrigue.

Appearance
01814558-4F6F-4FD0-BBAD-40FB7C4E9F14.jpeg

Arden stands tall at 6’4 with grayish-black hair and light grey eyes. His build is lean yet well-muscled enough at 195 lbs to give him speed along with the strength and reach that comes with his height. He is overall very athletic from his upbringing, and this shows in his appearance. However, those years have left a mark, and small scars can be found across his body. More often than not, Arden can be seen wearing his armor to some degree. Should armor be inappropriate (not often as a Jareedi royal bodyguard), he usually opts for his uniform or formal wear when in public.

Mana
Arden has respectable control over earth mana, though he tends to use it defensively in order to conserve energy.

Strengths
Combat:
Years of training have left Arden with the physical ability and experience to be a formidable foe. With his height, raw power, and discipline, there are few who can best him in a non-magical fight.
Willpower:
Arden has both excellent mental and physical resilience, allowing him to push through grueling activities unshaken.
Composure:
Arden is able to keep his emotions in check and stay cool even in highly stressful situations.

Flaws
Cold:
Already naturally quiet, the stifling of emotions unimportant to his responsibilities while simultaneously learning to kill as efficiently as possible for years on end have left Arden desensitized, lacking in empathy, and difficult to connect with.
Subordinate:
Arden functions best in rigid hierarchies that dictate how to live his life. While this works just fine as a guard, in environments where Arden has to act on his own judgment he struggles to improvise and have confidence in his decisions.
Purposeless:
Arden has lived his entire life up to this to fight for Jareedi, not because of any love for the kingdom, but rather by being born onto that path and never straying. This has left him with no other ties or loyalties, meaning that should something happen that significantly disrupts his position, he'll be left with nothing to fall back on and no reason to push forward.

Backstory
Arden's father was a peasant soldier who managed to distinguish himself enough to earn a hefty promotion. Suddenly a minor noble, Arden's father attempted to marry and settle down. The former part of his plan succeeded, but when his new wife died during childbirth and his inexperience with high society led to extreme financial troubles, he rejoined the military, now accompanied by an infant son. Thus, from the moment Arden could walk and pick up a stick, his father put him to work, Travelling often, the only permanent members of Arden's life were his father and the handful of officers working with him. Not having friends other than those he beat on in the training yard, and finding his basic studies boring, Arden devoted the vast majority of his time to training. As he grew in size, he also grew in skill, holding his own against boys twice his age and drawing attention from higher-ups. Throughout this period, Arden's father continued to perform well in his duties, so when the siege of Mogga entered the planning stage, he was selected to direct a portion of the attack. While his front was a resounding success, the aging man sustained many injuries to which he would succumb afterward. This left Arden too young to enlist with only his father's meager inheritance to his name. Fortunately, his father's superiors decided to reward his service by sending Arden to be trained by the very best in the royal guard. Whether it was to honor his father, live up to his new prestigious position, or just all he knew, Arden spent the next 10 or so years on an unrelenting schedule, quickly rising through the ranks to his current position as bodyguard of the royal family.

Name: Siren Cold-Heart

Kingdom: Jareedi

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Personality: Siren is a extremely quiet person, preferring to let his actions speak for him. He’s typically looked at as distant, and lonely, but he holds deep feelings for his fellow comrades and friends, despite the fact that he’d never say it out loud. He’s loyal to a fault, and will follow orders from the king with no hesitation, even if doing so goes against his own morals. He spends most of his time alone, training, but will occasionally go out with friends when asked to do so.

Appearance: Siren is 5’10, 185 pounds. He’s most noticeable by his light blue hair, and a bandage he always keep on his left cheek. He always dresses casual, even when on the battlefield, sporting a white tee and black jacket.

Mana: Siren is capable of manifesting and manipulating Ice. He can create weapons using this, and it also allows him to spend long durations in cold weather with no effects on his body, making him a valuable asset during drawn out battles during winter months.

Strengths: Siren is a excellent combatant across the board. He’s proficient in hand to hand combat, along with being excellent at wielding a variety of close range weapons, including swords and maces. He also has some medium range capabilities, making use of a knife he has attached to a chain.

Flaws: Siren isn’t without flaws when it comes to the strength he’s built. He’s easily provoked, and loses focus from the slightest taunting during a fight. His Ice Magic is also very volatile, causing damage to his own body with each use of it.

Gear: Siren always travels with his Kodachi, a short Japanese blade. He also carries a knife on his side, attached to a 10 foot chain, wrapped together and fashioned to his belt.

Backstory: Siren was born destined for the military. His father, his grandfather, and his great grandfather were all soldiers, wielding Ice magic and providing support to their platoons. Siren’s father decided before he was even born that his son would be a soldier for the king. Despite the protests of his mother, Siren’s training began the moment he could hold his sword. His childhood was very different from that of the other children in his village. Day after day, he trained, endlessly. He had very little social interaction, barely remembering the faces of the people he lived with, excluding his father. His father had him on a tight schedule, leaving just enough time for Siren to eat and sleep before resuming his training each day. Siren’s mother was against this, arguing with his father every day for the majority of his childhood. One day, his father had enough of her, murdering Siren’s mother, while siren trained in the backyard. His father was respected enough, and wealthy enough to pay for a coverup, framing Siren’s mom as a woman who took a large sum of money and left the family and her children. From then on, life only became tougher for Siren, but his abilities steadily improved, until he eventually made his way into the Army, at the young age of 17.
