I'll get my reply up after that, since it's kinda relevant to know the currency stuff.

Ah, yes. Currency. I forgot to talk about that. Let's remedy that, shall we?
Multiple Earth countries are backing the colonization project, so on Earth, currency is highly varied. On Mars, however, a new type of currency has been created- the Human Standard Credit (HSC). The HSC is used in place of any Earth currency, to prevent the hassle of exchange rates and equivalents, but can still be converted to any Earth-based currency. That's just for taxes going to the many nations of the Gov, though, so we don't need to worry about that.
For the purposes of this game, we'll say that 1 HSC is equivalent to about 2 United States dollars.

Hi all! I guess I'm going to be one of your militiamen! The game looks great so far.

capMARVELOUS capMARVELOUS As a militiaman do I work for the Gov or am I more of a local hire? Actually, better question: Have I even been approved to play yet? My character was liked but I'm not in the roster.

Welcome! We're glad to have you.
As a militiaman, you do indeed work for the Gov, helping them maintain order in the colonies. And I'm currently at church, so I haven't had much time to check your guy out. From my quick scan, though, he looks pretty good; I'll give him a heart once I do a more in-depth analysis.

Touch of Home and Jenna's Gear and Repair are two separate buildings. Yes, they are connected, but you could not see into Jenna's shop from Touch of Home and vice versa unless you are walking through the door between them.

That'd be quite funny. I imagine Zero and her arguing over who got him first while the guy lies there with like half his body blown to bits.
