Lol the plan was that it was a lawful good merc group that paired up with a khodai clan that needed their assistance. I am in the process of making the khodai character RN.

... you know what... fuck it... Holland isn't needed or necessary. Not like I wanted to make a character anyways.........

Hey guys. Can't wait to start in on this. I've read a couple of the most recent pages, and don't really know how to go about jumping in. What's the largest settlement on mars (Or rather, the one with the most players) my character could start poking around in?

Babylon Colony. It's brand new to the game, hasn't been touched by any players so far. You could be the first.

Any pictures to describe what Babylon colony looks like, or can I do that?
Five districts arranged in a plus shape, buildings look more or less like this.

I like how it looks. Very metropolitan. Perfect place for a traveling salesman to set up shop. Avari Avari raises a good point though. Is there anyone who's character is kind of in between stories rn who would care to join me in Babylon?

Wouldn't that put him pretty far away from anyone to interact with?

How far is Babylon from Eden?
Not too far away; about, like, 50km. But we have some fresh meat who might be starting out there once they actually post, so there's that.

Lucy is also FROM Babylon so will be going there at some point no doubt, but not until she's finished in Eden

Well, I know I, for one, will be heading there after this whole Finch debacle, and MsPolite MsPolite was asking about starting places earlier. Maybe she'd be interested in joining you. Maybe, tho.
Or you could start on your way there; after my test today, I'mma post a traveling character myself.
If I'm allowed I may make a second character and for him it'd make logical sense to be in a more established location. So I might be in Babylon with my second character, if allowed to have two.

Oh yeah, totes. You've posted in-game, so you can make many characters now.

"If they resist, glass the colony"

Coming soon to a RP near you!

Have some questions. What's the bleeding edge of small arms technology?

This character is a corporate fixer who is sent to strongarm locals. He has money backing him so he has the best. Not the most powerful stuff as he carries small weapons but high tech.

Also, cybernetic implants, what's the status on those. Are implanted eyes a thing?

The bleeding edge (i.e., the best you can buy) when it comes to small arms are these tiny guns colloquially called "Stingers" which fire small projectiles of superheated plasma.
Implanted eyes are a thing, yes, but at most, all they can do is see in the dark and change eye color. No x-ray vision or motion tracking or that just yet.

Kobe Nathan Wade Kobe Nathan Wade I don’t mind having our characters interact, I haven’t even posted yet cuz I wanted to wait for a good jumping off point and idk how @Aviary would come in I’m still reading up on what’s happening, also just to let y’all know Nelly is considered a bandit and wanted, though most people haven’t seen her face just her armor.

Oi Bill Nein Bill Nein how exactly did Adrian learn how to stitch up and cauterize wounds? Last I checked, his profile doesn't say anything about medical training...

Shit... I thought I put that on there... I use this "devon(the name of the original character)'archetype all the time in these futuristic RP's. That usually is a thing he knows. To actually quote the barebones CS "due to being in combat generally without a allied medic, Adrian learned how to do some basic medical procedures I.e. Stitch/cauterize a bullet wounds, lacerations, broken bones, dislocated shoulders, and burns"

Ah, mmkay. Guess I didn't see that on the profile. That seems logical. Carry on.
