cheers for spring; for life; for a growing soul
INTRODUCTION.
Sippe Wallace croons to the crowd a tale of the trouble that follows in her wake. Her voice sends tingles down the spines of the patrons while the alcohol warms their bellies and lowers inhibitions. Some look down at their glasses in wonder. It was said that the establishment held some of the best alcohol that the country had to offer. Or perhaps it was the taboo that surrounded substance that made it all the more tantalizing to those who sought it out. Hushed rumors spoke of the lengths gone to acquire such delicacies. Conversations held outside of polite company spoke of cops paid for their silence and ingredients smuggled from different countries. For all of the glitz and glamor, there was something off about the club. A hint of danger that only worked to draw more people in.
The crowd suddenly comes to life in a flurry of applause and cheers. Sippie smiles and takes a bow, disappearing behind the red curtains that decorate the stage. A figure emerges soon after, dressed to the nines and sporting full cherry lips. They part to reveal pearly white teeth. She steps forward, leaning into the mic. โPlease give another round of applause for Ms.Sippie Wallace. Weโre honored to have her as a guest singer in our little hole in the wall.โ Her voice is husky, a lovely purr that teases the ears. She stands tall as she smiles out at the crowd.
โWelcome to the Fox Hole my dears. I do hope that youโve enjoyed the first performance of the night. Get comfortable, youโre in for a treat.โ
INFO.
There are whispers of a club that only opens once the sun has settled firmly below the horizon. The Fox Hole is an establishment that may not be as old as some of their big name competitors but it is definitely a diamond in the rough. The speed in which it is gaining notoriety has the competition scrambling and scheming to find out the key to its success. Some say that itโs due to the exotic and hard to obtain liquor that it offers while others swear that itโs because of the grandeur of the interior and the professionalism of the staff. No one truly knows how The Fox Hole has gained so much traction.
No one except for those involved in the business are aware of the blood, sweat, and tears that The Fox Hole has been built on. Many patrons are naive to the fact that they are sometimes in the company of dangerous criminals. There are waitresses that know all the ways to seduce and slay a person and cooks with the skills to rob a person blind without them even realizing. Yes, The Fox Hole is no mere speakeasy. It is a place for skilled criminals to hide in plain sight. A criminal organization that plans on building their legacy and securing their place at the top.

Hello and welcome to THE FOX HOLE! This takes place in Harlem, New York during the 1920s. The center of the rp focuses on a fairly young criminal organization that is known as The Skulk. This organization is in control of the speakeasy The Fox Hole. You will play as a member of the staff, someone with close connections to the organization, or even an enemy. There was a previous version of this but Iโve decided to put a little spin on this! This roleplay will take place in a modern fantasy setting, where supernatural creatures walk amongst humans.
RULES.1. Due to the dark and mature themes (within reason of rpn guidelines of course) iโm setting an age limit of 18+ for roleplayers. Should I find out that youโve lied about your age to join, youโll be kicked from the roleplay immediately.
2. Real face claims, preferably those that fit or somewhat fit the time period, are the only types of claims that Iโll be accepting. I wonโt be too picky but I donโt expect to see modern day influencers (unless they have some type of vintage photoshoot/pictures). Written descriptions are also fine!
3. Save the drama for the in character interactions. I wonโt tolerate any sort of bullying, bigotry, ect ect. I have absolutely zero patience for it and youโll only receive one warning should anything happen.
4. Discord will be required for plotting and ooc purposes once the due date for sheets close. I find that it makes plotting and talking easier than using the site.
5. In order to try and keep the rp from dying, roleplayers are required to post at least once or twice a week. I understand that real life comes first so Iโm willing to compromise when it comes to posting.
