Nothing was working. Many have already suffered injuries from the man who've gone berserk, and now the Fire Kingdom is attacking with beasts made entirely from fire, and from fire that won't be put out, even with the effort of the air and water benders. Screams of dying villagers and soldiers alike echoed throughout the forest, and the stink of smoke fills the air as the flames dyed the streets with red.


Aki hears the call for retreat from Irene, and before he could do so, he was struck by a fire bolt on his left knee. He falls down, letting out a loud grunt when he hits the ground.

[The Elder]

Zen realised the situation was getting worse the more we stayed and didn't leave. He took charge. He starts to surf the earth dodging fire attacks and blocking it with a rock shield he fired rapid fired rocks at their heads. He surfed in between his group and the fire benders creating a very think wall. When his task was complete he Stumbles and falls to the ground. We gotta get outta here NOW!! He said faintly. @Mr jake

"Thanks Thea but You're going to have to for a while. Don't worry it won't be for long." she said assuring her that ir would be alright with her usual smirks. "Everyone go, I'll hold them back for a little bit until you guys are in a safe distance from here. I'll reunite with you guys later. I'll be fine." she turned her attention to Thea. " I promise." not waiting on a reply she began to make shifting and coiling movements, forming a giant snake of water around the lower body, elevating her from the surface. though she had a fear of heights controlling a whirlpool-like pillar of water, rotating it and directing its movements at the same time, maked it easier for her to dodge attacks. she began to use her water whips as well, holding most of the fire kingdom off as best as she could. she knew that there was a chance of her being captured but she was able to risk it. " Go now, I can't hold them off for long!"

''YOU STUBBORN IDIOTS!'' the young general shouted at Irene as she helped Zen off the ground. By now the creatures became greater in size, Aria flew on top of her cyclone to face Irene, ''they are not affected with water, it's like they're made from gasoline fire, water helps them, doesn't kill them, now get down before Zen's wall be broken'' as she spoke the fire spirits were about to penetrate the thick wall: ''there is time for everyone to escape. we have lost a battle after winning one, IT IS ONLY A BATTLE" As an arrow of fire was shot towards Irene, Aria jumped in front of her knocking her off her whirl pool, and onto the ground, (I'm sorry but i couldn't separate Irene and Thea xD XD) she grunted and ran to help Aki up: ''remember the ice you helped me with when i was wounded? use it on your knee. LET'S GO PEOPLE.NO ONE IS GETTING LEFT BEHIND, IF ANY OF YOU DIES THEN SO HELP ME GOD I WILL BRING YOU BACK TO LIFE AND KILL YOU AGAIN'' She helped him up then looked at Zen's wall and put a layer of thick wind to support it longer then looked at their only solid option, the hidden air temple. She looked at Jake: ''remember the old air temple we used to be told about in the air kingdom? the one with equipment, healer monks and is a safe haven for any element? I know its whereabouts''

Zen was on the ground for awhile until Aria camed and help him up. Thanks Aria. You have to stop her. We gotta get outta here. He said tiredly. Zen saw everything that happened between Aria and Irene, but it was a little blurry. Zen dragged behind the group trying to walk over to everyone.

Nodding Aria went to Zen and put his arm around her shoulder then floated, ''it's tricky, do you see that cloud that never seems to change it's place?''she addressed Serena, ''well it's there. we have to fly there'' using a light wind herself she lifted half of the group expecting Jake and Serena being air benders to lift the others then started floating towards the cloud that as they got closer and closer, revealed a floating temple. It took a lot of concentration to keep the temple up, a total of twelve ancient monks who possessed different elements, three water, three earth, three fire and three air, it had everything from food, to healers to equipment, all the leaders of the kingdoms knew about it, but representing ultimate peace, it was agreed two hundred years ago that no matter the wars going on, the temple would not be touched, after only a hundred years, the temple was forgotten about by most of the elements

Serena knew of this temple since her grandmother was taught there to become a healer. She helped lift the others up as well using her air abilities. She looked in awe at the ancient temple and the monks holding it up. Thea crossed her arms as she too was in awe.

Jake was looking in aw about this place. Of course he has been too hundreds of air temple some occupied some abandoned but this one fascinated him. From the water fall falling out of the clouds and then almost immediately condensating into the air, and the architecture was amazing, and the gardens they had filled with life of flora Jake thought it was the most beautiful thing he had seen since he was an adventure with his dad. He had something on his mind sort of a confession but at the same time it wasn't, he glanced at the clouds and bit his lip. It was the fact he was not a true air bender he was not raised with the monks and in a temple well..... He kinda did he would practice a lot if they were at a stop at a temple or taking a break somewhere He hide that fact that he was as good as every one else at bending because he did not have the proper training he picked up some cool tricks here and there but he was still somewhat ashamed.

Aki begins to cast the ice magic over his knee, though this would greatly reduce his mobility, it was the best thing to do in that situation. He follows Aria towards a floating temple, though he had no idea why that would bring any of them safety. The great Fire Kingdom won't be stopped by a mere temple, they won't even hesitate to flatten it to the ground if need be. He feels himself getting lifted by Aria's wind, and after entering the general area of the temple, he felt a great relief within his knee. There must be some sort of healing aura around the temple, he thought.


"What is this place..." He mumbled in awe.

(So what's going on? By the way hope you guys had fun popping bottles on new years! I know I did!)

(The gang is up in a very peaceful Air temple we literal just arrived)

Jake looked around amazed with everything he "This is so cool I wonder how long we will be here" after about 10 minutes Jake was separated from the group from wandering with curiosity, he had no idea were he was. Jake was approached by a monk he said "Hello are you a new comer?" Jake try's to answer he says "well ye......" The monk interrupted his answer "Well of course you are" He said joyfully "What is this a weapon no no no no no there are no weapons in this temple I will have to confiscate that" He took the weapon away from Jake abruptly "Now that I have taken away your weapon you are advised to go to your room and freshen up" Jake looked at himself there nothing wrong with........ all of a sudden he smelt a horrible smell "What is that smell......" Then Jake notices that the smell was coming from himself "Ok I see what you mean now" Jake looks at the monk "which room is mine?" He asked tiredly the monk replays "All the guest rooms are on the first floor of the temple take any vacant room to your liking If you have any problems please let me or any of the servants know" The monk walks away fast "Hope you enjoy your stay" Jake yells back "thanks you" He thought to himself "this will be one relaxing stay" He walks to his room it was so wonderful it was heavily influenced with architecture from outside. He looked at his amazing room and let out a sigh of relief, There were fresh clothes laid out on his bed that's when he heard the delightful sound of flowing water now sadly it was a pretty small room that was not big enoghe to hold a bathroom he looked around trying to figure out where it would be. He asked one of the servants she said "The bathrooms are at the end of the hall way the left was for boys the right was for girls" Jake replayed "Thank you" He walks over to the bathroom to find a refreshing pool of water. Jake thinks to himself "This is just what I need" He removes all his clothes and slowly steps into the bath and sits down with his back facing the wall.

After arriving to the temple Aria left everyone with the monks who gave them rooms to freshen up and rest a little, the wounded were taken to a healing room. She however went and sat on the edge of the temple she didn't want to speak to anybody, just listen to the wind and clear her mind. She felt like she kind of let everyone down and lost her patience a little. Sighing she closed her eyes.


In the great fire kingdom, The mighty general sat in the meetings hall listening to his counselors and waiting for any word from his daughter. The whereabouts of the temple, or even the existence of the temple wasn't known to the great general. The fire kingdom wasn't very keen on the belief of legends and in the art of war, legends weren't really helpful. After burning the whole village to the ground and the escape of that little group he sat waiting for word on the other villages from his generals

 

[Aine]

Aki, after entering the temple, felt his knee getting immediately better, and thus offered to help the injured move towards the healing room. After a few trips back and forward between the outside of the temple and the room, he spots Aria sitting by herself on the edge of the floating temple. She looks rather sombre.


"Nice view, isn't it?" Aki says, after walking up the the edge, his hands covering the top of his eyes while he gazes upon the clouds and distant mountains before turning around and looking at Aria.
