Thanny
The Destined Undestined
- Jari Coriander, Somnum Court, his ear stuck to the door in hopes of hearing Kagura's answer in Sanctus Heights -
Xion136 Mystics Apprentice
Jari listened in to the conversation on the other side of the room, if one can call it conversation. Everything had gone silent, and he wondered if they retreated into a different room to have their discussion. Feeling defeated at this possibility, Jari clung to his last hopes that they were still inside the room the door led to. If nothing happened, well, he would move on, albeit feeling like a filthy sneak.
- Pali Noirtier, Umbra Court, stuck to his promise in front of the Elvenwind, onlooking the two lovebirds -
[Stuck to his promise in front of the Elvenwind. =P ]
- Daruk Mordem, Ignis Court, fighting forest titans on the outskirts of Aeternalis -
The Ignis maester frowned as his boulder, intended to hit the original thrower of it, whiffed, but found his smile again when it sailed into the titan behind it. There was an inherent satisfaction to dealing damage to something you wanted to destroy, no matter how slight, though what one (or maybe two) of the forest titans had mentioned made him question: were these creatures or maybe constructs meant to preserve Vivifica? If so, why were they destroying everything and causing trouble to the locals? Did they not recognise this town as being under Vivifica's protection? Actually, was it under Vivifica's protection or Sanctus Heights'? He needed to catch up on history, but that does not prevent the chance to bluff on what he did not know.
First things first, though, he realised as the angry tree creature he set ablaze tried to grab him. Sadly, it succeeded, but after being launched earthward Daruk sought out the sky and, much like swimming underwater, aimed to maneuver himself to the topmost surface, narrowly escaping crashing into the roofless schoolhouse by flying up.
Increasingly bruised by boulders and titan hands, Daruk flew like a rocket up close to Titan #5 (the one talking to Gerik) and attempted his bluff.
"This town may be destructive to the forest," Daruk voiced boomingly, "but forests regrow, and the town is under the protection of Vivifica itself. What you are doing to its citizens and their buildings is against Vivifica's current wishes! Leave them out of it so that we may settle this ourselves without outside casualties."
