Simply put yes. Archers use a weapon called a Launcher which they use to funnel their flux through. The Launcher is different for everyone since everyone manifests their flux differently.

Just read it. You're approved to start posting. Also yes, your launcher can be a glove. So long as you're using the glove to manifest and 'launch' your flux projectile I have no issues with how your launcher looks. Just so long as it's not anything too crazy. Like Gundam crazy lol.

If you can make it so you're blood isn't toxic that would be awesome. The flux sickness is an interesting direction. You can't curse someone with flux. Everyone is born with it just few people have the capability to actually use it. Aside from that I don't see anything particularly wrong with your character. Make those edits and you should be fine to post. We definitely need more healers. Also are you able to use Discord? I've set up a channel for us on that but I also make announcements here as well.

I have made the first edit. Now they just have green blood. I'll just say that the sickness will be the price of his healing abilities towards others. So, he's just born with it.

In the meantime you're welcome to make your introductory post or read up on what's been going on in the main thread. I would appreciate it, if you haven't already of course, to go over and read the first post I made so that you at least know who your teachers are and get a better sense of the setting. Hope you enjoy the roleplay.
