Ezeris is a shit hole kingdom, thanks to the royals. The royals got everything while their people have hardly anything.
Some people are lucky to get food and water, since someone from the castle knows about the hidden escape routes around the kingdom. That person secretly gives them the food and water to survive, and they praise the gods for that.
