What it would take to be a half platinum dragon. I don't want it to be a race you can just pick right off the bat as Bahamut is a platinum dragon himself. So what sort of pre requisites need to be attained to be able to become a platinum half dragon.

Hhmmm... well, I’m not as well read into DND as you probably think, but I’ll do my best. there’s gotta be something leading up to it. They can’t be like that from the very beginning. Probably nerf the powers a little too. Can’t make it too crazy at the beginning. Maybe it’s a blessing from Bahamut? And there’s some kind of uhh... trial? Task they have to complete? Like,

Bahamut: You have served me well mortal. I am willing to give you more power, but you must first complete this task.

And it’s a grueling task that makes you question your morals. At first they were gung-ho about it, but then it’s kinda wrong? And they have to decide whether they listen to Bahamut and do this horrible thing or say no to Bahamut and (just as an example) spare this child’s life.
 
At which point Bahamut is pleased, and gives some speech about good and evil, and bestows his blessing. Because you “remained good despite being pressured to do bad” and yadayads
 
Look man i’m A dnd enthusiast but I haven’t actually played the game, except for two one-off sessions with some of my gal pals that I’m pretty sure they didn’t know they were doing anyway, soooo???
 
The guy playing the druid thinks the plan will work. The thing is the polymorph spell doesn't turn atracks magical. And Tiamat is immune to damage dealt by non magical weapons.

And alongside that the grapple strategy he planned can't work because she's a gargantuan creature.

Boy oh boy you guys are good, I was trying to get that back issue fixed for the past 500 years. You know you guys could make good Chiropractors.

A single customer has proven my idea we are evolving backwards. Said the food tasted bad and never took a bite of the food.
 
Oh gods no. I'm a fry cook/waiter (really depends on what they need.) But I was helping the waitress out with getting food out when this one customer gets up shouting about how the food was shit and left without paying.
 
I am playing the best one shot ever. The party are people who died, made a deal with some thing to come back. And now they are obeying a 13 year old boy.
