Fantasy The Experiment (Reboot)

[Zak Knight]

Zecseas looks back at Leo a little sad and shakes my head "N-No..." he looks down knocking his hair in his face as he continues to walk "It hurts to think... Why do I think of this?"

 

[Shog]

"Um, er, I'm gust going to, uh, leave now" Leo managed. "You can get back to what you were doing before. Sorry for the disturbance." He now turned back into his snake form and started to slither back into the forest. If she really wanted to stop him, she could just grab his tale or something.

 

[Nekoni]

Aeni trotted next to the snake and pulled at his large body with both of her hands "Hrmmmf....n-no..you're not a disturbance! Don't be shy..." she objected with her bell-like voice, holding firmly onto his smooth scales "Um...Leo...even if Zecseas is being...ah...I-I'm...W-We're happy to be friends with you...." she said, trying to shake off any thoughts of eating the animal. Reptiles and birds had become a favorite treat to her from the scientists, a savory delicacies that she took happily.

 

[Zak Knight]

Zecseas goes Panda form and starts to run creating distance fast as he thinks "Why does it hurt?" Zecseas looks down at the grass moving quickly not really paying attention as he does

 

[Nekoni]

Aeni turned her head quickly after hearing the heavy trotting of pawsteps fade away in the distance "Zec....seas??" she called out into the trees, with a concerned voice "W-Where are you going??" she asked the far off shadow as he rested her hand on the serpent's back "I guess...I tried to force him to face a fear he didn't want to..." Aeni muttered guiltily.

Vincent moved his right arm so that it was resting on the pillow behind Luna's head. With a final amused glance he pulled her towards him quickly. Keeping her pinned against him, a smile coming to his face as he watched her surprised reaction. Triumphant that he had managed to pull it off, he closed his eyes continuing to relax. Even though he kept his grip around her as tight as he possibly could without hurting her. Having her this close comforted him in some way. He was starting to feel oddly fond of the tiger.

Luna's eyes widened at his action, her face pinned against his chest. She tried to struggle for a minute before giving up and staying there. It felt kind of nice here. She breathed in, her nose bombarded by his sent. She sometimes hated the enhanced sense of smell, because it felt like she was taking a bath in his sent.

Vince smiled not feeling her struggling, he loosened his grip slightly liking the feel of her this close to him.


His breathing slowed into a steady rhythm and within a few moments he was fast asleep. His chin resting on the top of her head, inhaling the smell of fresh rain and lavender every time he took a breath. Her smell surprisingly seemed to calm him. It was different then the musty smells he was familiar with.

Luna realized after a while that he was asleep. His breathing was slowed as he fell asleep. She sighed, not moving. His head was kind of heavy and his warmth was like a trap. She closed her eyes, smelling something indescribable. She felt her body grow heavier as she started to slip from her consciousness into sleep.

 

[Shog]

Leo stopped struggling and shifted back. "Are you sure?" He asked surprised. "I don't want to get in the way of anything…". The truth was he was just surprised someone wanted him around. Or at least not to leave. It was honestly a first for him. He didn't even have a clue what to do in this situation.

(Lily and Evan are in the kitchen. Lily offered Nyll some eggs and Evan stole lily's as to everyone else I think their bedrooms or outside)

(Zecseas, Aeni, and Leo are outside at the moment, that's all I'm positive about)

Nyll smelled the eggs, their scent was nice but not enough to make Nyll go crazy for them. Seeing that Lily had lost her share and seemed to be the one to make them, Nyll just shoved the plate towards her and walked out of the door. Nyll turned into his snow leopard form maybe looking for a resting place.

 

[Nekoni]

Aeni nodded "O-Of course!" she replied adamantly to Leo. "I'm not sure why he's acting so weird...Maybe...I should leave him alone...or.." she muttered a little, unsure as she saw a large spotted cat exit the house. "I would think...he would be the most thing to fear in here...very unstable, don't you think?" she asked as she tied off her bundle of flowers with a strip of vine.

Leo smiled a little. "I don't think 'stable' is a good word to describe any of us" he said. "Let's face it. We have been away from people for so long, we have no social skills. We arn't even full humans anymore. And to top it off we went from a small cage to a larger, more deadly one. But even so, is it really that bad? We are special like no one else on the planet. Doesn't that change perspective a bit? Sure, the scientists are simply rotten, but it is kind of cool."

 

[Nekoni]

Aei paused, then smiled gleefully as she realized there was another creature in this place here that thought similarly to her. "I agree. You're seem very quiet...you should talk more, you have very interesting things to say..." she said quite happily, picking twigs and grasses out of her hair "I believe...we are more than humans, but we are not animals...we're more like the link between them...these are powers that anyone would only dream of, and we are blessed enough to receive them. I suppose the scientists are just scared of when they have created...Much like Frankenstein when he first created his monster..." the honey brown haired girl rambled excitedly, unsure if she was making any sense to her new friend. She quietly observed the large cat, the home, the forest, and all the other things within it "Truthfully...I like this life...it's an honour to be part of it..."

Lily watches as Nyll leaves his plate and walks out. She scoffs a little. "Fine see if I cook for you again" She says not realizing he was giving them up because she lost her's. The shoving his plate away seemed as if he was unhappy with the results. She plops down in her chair and picks at the eggs, glaring angerly at Evan as he and his stolen plate make their way out of the room. She looks down at her plate with a sigh. Maybe she'd take a bath, it was so quiet on the third floor so she shouldn't have to worry about people constantly walking down the hall making her paranoid. She eats about half her eggs, not that hungry anymore anyways. She wanders upstairs to the third floor, so far she hadn't seen anyone or any sign of anyone else who made the third floor their resting spot.

Something moved his broken hand, causing Vince to wake with a painful start. Letting out a painful hiss, he looked over to see that he had merely broken the popsicle stick. His arms still wrapped around Luna. She was curled towards him, her face buried in the crook of his neck. Blushing darkly, Vincent looked at the girl in his arms his heart starting to hammer in his chest.

Luna shifted, her ears picking up the sound of a pained hiss, soon followed by the skipping of a heartbeat. Opening her eyes very slowly, she could only see a pink fleshy color. Confused, she blinked a few more times before slowly pulling her head away from the source of the color. As she backed away, she saw that the thing she was up against was Vince's neck. Recoiling in surprise, she rolled off her bed and hit the floor.

Nyll had been walking for a while now still hungry. It seemed that he had nearly reached the end of the region. Nyll's gaze fell upon a couple of very high walls, next to them was a boulder that was indeed high but not as much as the wall. Nyll felt as if someone was staring at him.


He looked behind to find out that it was just a feeble owl. It was a foolish mistake one that he would regret making. As Nyll walked towards the high fence he could hear a low pitched voice as if someone was moving. He looked around but to find out there was no one moving, was he losing it? Nyll thinking of the sound as his imagination did not may any more heed to it. He jumped onto the boulder as if ready to rest. ' Not fine enough ' he thought as he moved forward, moving towards the fall. Suddenly he could hear a sound, one that was very familiar to him. As he turned around, he saw a dart in his back. ' dam you all! ' he thought as he roared loudly. Charging over the leaden surface, towards the fence maybe ready to make a jump. Nyll growled and roared loudly in pain as many dart hit him. Nyll did make his jump just to reach the top of the fence before crashing down to the ground. His body penetrated with 10 or more darts and also electrocuted. Nyll made a helpless cry before going unconcious

Well, they did mercilessly rip us from out former lives against our wills" Leo said. "I think everything they have done so far has simply been a psychological experiment. The sudden change of life, the needles, no answers at all, a small room, and now this. Thighs could be different, but I think they are far from done with us."


He heard a loud roar and looked over to see the snow leopard had fallen down and was full of darts. He started to head over, but some guards got there first and took some blood.

Zecseas smiled brightly as he entered the forest shifting to human "Was it that easy to escape th-" Zecseas watch a animal near the fence make a jump and and fail then he saw the thousands of darts which gave him a brilliant plan "If that animal can take 10... What can a bear take?" Zecseas thought his plan through and finally decided to do it. Zecseas plan was to see how many darts he could take before he would fall in bear form which could lead to over all escape for him and his room mates "This is really gonna hurt but it's for a greater cause." Zecseas thought this plan over carefully "Okay... Here I go!" he starts run where the animal jumped in bear form roaring loudly

 

[Nekoni]

Aeni paused in thought, "Yeah I agree, it would be idiotic for a scientist to stop a successful experiment such as this...it's a surprise that we still have any stable mind set...Who knows, there could of been hundred of others that didn't survive by their first transformation..." She glances over after she smells the scent thick scent of scorched fur, her eyes wide and startled, never expecting to see the snow leopard down "H-He's.....alright, right???" Aeni asked in a small panic, watching the human's movements carefully as they pick samples from him. She heard the familiar thuds of heavy paws running against soft soil, watching the large panda with a startled look on her face "Is...he on a suicide mission??"
