...♤Lumina's mind was hazy, a mixture of black and white, a mixture of lucidity and insanity. Her mind had been fighting this internal battle ever since she felt Kenji disappear. And now more than ever, it was like the two sides were fighting in her head to take over, either go insane or stay normal. It was like someone had put black and white paint on a canvas, swirling the colors around with a paintbrush. The colors mixing and taking up more space on the canvas, that was what her mind felt like. Simultaneously under her control and out of her control. But even with all of that happening, she was still able to hear Thomas. She heard the metal cuffs snapping off, and she summoned up enough energy to turn her head to look at him as she heard him speak back to her. Why? Well, that definitely was the question, wasn't it? Well, part of it was out of thanks for him even being willing to help her. But really, there was more to it, she thought. So as they laid there, Lumina tried explaining herself the best she could♤...
"B-because... you... were w-willing... to risk y-yourself to h-help me... i....I just... w-wanted to repay... t-the favor.... a-and I know w-what it's like... t-to feel truly alone... so... i-I di... didn't want y-you to have t-to go through.... t-that alone... any...more..."

...♜Thomas listened to Lumina as he tried gathering any mana he could, and what he did gather he used to start to numb his body, trying to get the phantom pains to go away. Then he attempted thinking, but there was just a ringing in his mind that wouldn't go away, and he'd much rather think over what he would say instead of just saying it. Though Lumina's words did strike a few cords within him, though most of them were almost immediately silenced by the way Siegfried had made him, but that didn't stop his mostly human body from starting the water works. Before Thomas even knew what was happening his eyes had started crying for him, though his face showed mostly confusing as to why it was happening, an obvious sign to all but him of Siegfried's tampering. At that moment Thomas had gathered enough mana to numb enough of his body in order to force himself up, though breathing raggedly, he managed to get over to Lumina before falling on his ass. As he spoke once more, Thomas brought a hand up to his mouth, biting it so it would bleed as he finished talking♜...





"In... truth.... I'd h-... help anyone in n-.... need. A-as for f-... feeling alone... I-i've been denied that..... Inst-... stead i... f-feel....... I feel empty whenever..... a emotion that he block..... when an e-emotion that's blocked tries.... tries to activate........ Now then.... i think if i u-use.... a b-... bit of my life..... i can get a.... a portal open for you...."

Hayate nodded and remained still, "I see... We-- he's not back from his mission yet... He'd be back home right after he gives his report on the mission." He then laughed lightly. "You're hold on really tight. Something wrong, Thana?"

Taylor laughed lightly when Celia pouted and splashed water on him. He immediately knew that she wanted to know what he was hiding about his plans, but knowing Celia, she'd be over it in mere seconds so he wasn't bothered by it... In fact, he always found her cute when she pouted. He then watched as she got out of the bath and made her to the shower. She had a good idea when she said she'd rinse off in the shower... Taylor nodded and rubbed his chin in thought, that's when he decided he'd join her, to do the same.
"My original plan was to shower, so I guess I'll join you."


He then got out of bathtub and drained the water. As the water went down the drain, he went over to the shower and waited with Celia until the water as hot enough. He then stepped in after her.

...??Celia didn't mind that Taylor was going to join her in the shower, though honestly she wasn't thinking about him when she stepped out of the bath and said she was going to rinse off. She thought he would have just either get out and dry off or just stay in the tub, but apparently she thought wrong. As she rinsed herself off, she turned around to get everything off her back and poked Taylor's cheek repeatedly as the bubbles washes off into the drain. It looked like she was having fun just doing that. Celia giggled a little before she turned back around and putting her head under the running water of the shower head. She thought about what she was going to make once she was out of the kitchen, her expression now solemn. Maybe she'd call her mom to help her with idea's.. though the more she thought about that, the weirder it would be. Celia was sure she could find a recipe book around somewhere in the kitchen that would be useful to her or she could.. a grin made its way to her lips as she remembered something that she had been working on in the bakery, a recipe for these really good cookies. She had made a sweet cookie recipe, with the help of her instructor of course. Celia would definitely make those, just thinking about it got her really excited and wanted to get a start on things. Pretty much done with her shower, she slipped passed Taylor and spoke as she hurriedly got out of the shower, soon going over to get her towel. It was a miracle she didn't slip and fall from bouncing so much in excitement. Though she soon realized she didn't bring any clothes in here with her and stopped short as Celia held her towel close to her body, soon looking back towards Taylor. She only wondered where they were because she usually brought clothes with her when she was going to shower??...


"I'm getting out now! I just remembered something and if I don't do it now, I'm gonna take longer in the kitchen then necessary. Wait.. where are my clothes?"

Hayate smiled and slowly placed his fingers under her chin. He gently raised her head so he was able to look, Thana in the eyes. "Alright. I'll give you more of my time." He said, before giving her a kiss. Hayate soon pulled away and went to change into his pajamas. "So, what were you getting ready to do or did you plan on staying home for the day?"

She probably could if she tried, but right now she was way too tired. As she watched him, her eyes widened a bit to see him crying. From everything that both he and Siegfried had said, she didn't think that he was even capable of crying. But, the world was a surprising place, and this seemed to be no exception. Also to her surprise Thomas started making his way over to her, not even flinching as he plopped down beside her. He seemed to be doing something, and she looked up at him with an expression that mirrored her feelings. She noticed he had bit his hand, though she didn't know what for, that is, until he mentioned that he could make her a portal out of here. Lumina just looked up at him for a moment, her heart beating fast at the thought, but then... she managed to get a hand moving, reaching over to place it on top of his now bleeding one, as if to say "no, it's okay." The phoenix managed the smallest and weakest of smiles as she spoke, tears starting to prick at her eyes at the sight of his continual kindness and of how shitty their situation was and really cming to terms with everything♤...

...♜Thomas gulped as he looked at Lumina, she couldn't have accepted her fate already. No, there was nothing here to accept as fate, it was just his masters cold, empty, meaningless cruelty. Maybe if he hadn't been in that city earlier things could have been better for Lumina, hell, if he had been looking somewhere else it could have been avoided and she could be happily in the arms of the one she loved, with him being perfectly alive. But no, he had ruined it for her, and yet she was here, next to him, suffering for him. It mad him angry, not at her, not at the world, or even Siegfried, he was pissed at himself, though once again, it couldn't grow to hate, he couldn't hate. So Thomas to a deep breath before forcing the words out of his mouth♜...





"YOU IDIOT.......! You should hate me right now, if it weren't for me you'd still be with the one you loved, if i hadn't brought you here the first time he'd probably be alive! So don't you dare try to help me, you should just be like everyone else and use me as a stepping stool, my life has no value either way, when i die that's it, i will literally disappear."


...♜Thomas let out a breath before starting to draw sigils of blood on the ground, an empty, but focused look on his face as he kept himself slightly bent over as to ensure he knew what he was doing, now willing to she Lumina just rot away here, the only that should have that fate is him, he didn't want to burden someone else with it, especially when they had a true life they could be living, one that was theirs by right. Just because he was made and lived as a tool, doesn't mean others had to bare his fate.... Wait, something was off... Shit, he felt the connection between him and Lumina extend to the point it was when Siegfried was connecting their nerves, that meant he couldn't hide anything of his current feelings to Lumina. But wait, why would Siegfried do that all of a sudden?♜...





"Thomas, I command you to bring forth ash, so i may witness a new born fire."





...♞Siegfried had stealthily been waiting in the shadows the whole time, getting a great deal of amusement from watching the two of them think they were alone, and if Lumina wanted to stay, if she accepted her fate, then who was he to deny her that? After all, he could also use it as a lesson to make Thomas more obedient, so it was truly a win-win for Siegfried, easily the the most bang for the buck entertainment he has had in a long time.♞...





...♜Thomas's face showed the horror that he felt throughout himself as he bloody hand clenched into a fist and a mana blade started to shoot out of it, he tried to stop it, but he just couldn't, his mind was to weak right now, but he didn't want to take a life, he had never taken a life before, let alone one of someone he wanted to help. Thomas yelled, but nothing came out, his thoughts were all in panic, and his blade was piercing through Lumina, but in that moment he turned all of it's power into numbing, but it was a struggle to keep it that way. With his breathing speeding up it was obvious that Thomas was having a panic attack. He just realized that he had grabbed Lumina's shoulder at some point and was holding her up while he held the currently non lethal blade to her chest, it viably coming out her back. Thomas was now shaking, with his eyes wide with horror as he was repeating the same thing over and over as he cried, knowing the slightest break in his focus would kill Lumina♜...
