While it was sad he was away, she bided her time by playing video games, cooking food, watching movies, reading books, etc. But, those things soon grew dull, and the goddess itched for more action. So she decided to leave a note just in case Takeshi got back for some random reason while she was gone, and headed out into the city.
She walked around a bit, people watching mostly, but she soon sighed, bored at how nothing was really happening. They were all so... peaceful. No thugs, or anything! Just... bland. She stopped in a cafe and ordered some fruity dessert thing cuz why not, and while she was waiting Violetta cast her gaze out the side window, not knowing what else to do.
Not moments after she did so she noticed something... a little unsavory. A few guys were harassing a girl (who was definitely not interested) to hang out with them, but she kept pushing them away. It escalated and for a moment she saw the flash of something shiny and one of the three grabbed the girl by the arms, shoving her toward an alley. Narrowing her eyes, Violetta vanished from the cafe and appeared on the street about fifteen feet back from the men, and her eyebrow twitched in anger hearing an anguished cry from the girl. They began to round the corner for the alley when Violetta opened her eye, the iris turning yellow. A clock face appeared in it, and as the clock struck 12 the female was right where she was sitting in thr cafe, and the waitress brought over the food to her. The men turned frantically, wondering where she went, before Violetta took a few steps forward, approaching them.
"Sorry boys, but little Missy can't play with you today."
Her hands were stuck in her pockets, so she didn't look all that intimidating, so one of the men (presumably the leader of the merry gang) took a few steps toward her as well.
"Well you could play instead, huh, doll face? "
He and the men snickered, beginning their advance toward her, when suddenly all four of them were in a field, with not a soul in sight but them. The two lackeys yelped in fear, one actually pissing himself, but the head honcho just glared at her.
"What the hell just happened??!"
Violetta turned toward them, but she looked a tad different than before. Her short pink hair grew longer and black, and was up in high pigtails upon her head. Her standard jersey jacket and jeans were replaced with a red and orange detailed ruffled dress, with a matching headband. She grinned as she looked down at the three, leaning forward for added effect.
"Oh, I figured this was better than making a scene on the street, don't you think?~"
The leader backed up a bit, but soon took out his knife, holding it out toward her, his hand shaking some.
"W-What the hell are you? Some kinda d-demon??"
His question struck Violetta as hilarious, and she leaned back, laughing histerically. This made the two other men just collapse to their knees, holding each other in terror.
"Oh, honey..." she spoke after her laughter died down, and she turned her head sideways to look at the trio. "I am so much more than that."
With a twisted grin she snapped her fingers and the knife was now in her hands instead of his, and he squeaked out some kind of scared sound. Violetta played with it between her fingers, looking down at it for a moment before making a motion with her hand. Nothing seemed to happen, but the knife was instantaneously gone... and lodged in Lackey #1's throat. He gasped and gurgled for breath, blood pouring down his neck before he fell over, completely dead. Lackey #2 screamed like a girl and tried to run, but soon his legs crumpled under him and he screamed more, but instead out of pain. The bones in his legs had disintegrated as he ran, and the rest of his skeleton soon followed as he laid there screaming out, but soon he laid quiet. The leader looked at Violetta with wide eyes, knowing he was next.
"Please... have mercy..."
His voice was quiet and pleading, but Violetta just walked over to him, kneeling down in front of him with a soft smile.
"You wouldn't have given mercy to that girl, why should I give it to you?"
She flicked her finger toward him and like that he didn't exist anymore. She sped up his time line so fast he simply turned to nothing. She stood up, the sick grin still on her face, before her form shifted to her normal one, tennis shoes and all. The world shifted back to the street. Her eyes were closed and opened them her irises normal now, sighing at how tired she was suddenly.
"Man... I forgot how exhausting that form is. I guess that's why I don't use it that often."
She glanced over to see the girl staring in her direction. Violetta smiled, waved, and started to head back home. She blinked and yawned, placing a hand on her stomach as it growled.
"Aw... I even gave my dessert away too... oh well!"
She smiled as an ice cream cone appeared in her hand, and she ate it while walking back toward home.
