[Lumina]

A series of giant spiders began crawling towards her from both directions, attempting to gobble her up. It was almost impossible to navigate these spider caves and find the dark altar. At least, not without squashing a bug or 2.

Lilliana looked at the cave, realizing how underprepared she was. She was about to start backing up when a voice resounded in her head, and it sounded like it belonged to the same voice that was laughing in her head earlier. "Don't be scared, I'm here for you." And with that Lilliana found her body moving almost of its own accord, teleporting around the spiders so she could attack and squish them. Her eyes widened as she killed the first two, unsure of what was happening.

Noir looked at Yuto worriedly. "Should we have let her just go?" She looked off toward the direction Lilliana had head in. "She seemed awfully upset..."

 

[Himeragi Seiker]

Akiba teleported into the now offline entrance and simply stabbing his sword through the dimensionals back before absorbing its life force. Akaba was slightly injured, but alright. Akiba began tending to Akaba's wounds. "That should take care of the explosions..." Akaba simply said.

*Natsume just watched soon walking away*

Lumina had been focusing intently on the screen, amazed at the animation and the art style. It was so captivating to watch. But hearing Kenji's words snapped her back into reality, and a small blush crept on her face.


"A-a date?"


She glanced over at Kenji, before taking a drink of her hot chocolate, looking back toward the television.

Lilliana looked at the cave, realizing how underprepared she was. Yuto sighed as he looked at the ground. "Don't worry... When she needs help, I put a magic seal on her, and if she was so much as touched by anything bad, I would automatically teleport there." He explained.

The spiders squealed in pain as they both died. The cave was long and twisty. It would probably take YEARS to find this 'altar'.

After Akaba's wounds were attended to, Akiba teleported them out and he put Akaba in a sleeping quarters. Akiba began searching Natsume, to make sure she was ok.

*Natsume soon started to run to the sleeping quarters as if she was being chased. As she got there she was breathing heavily and was out of the doorway*

Akiba soon arrived at their sleeping quarters, not able to have a facial expression, but smiling. "Umm... Are you ok master?" He asked in his half human half robot voice.

Yuto sighed as he looked at the ground. "Don't worry... When she needs help, I put a magic seal on her, and if she was so much as touched by anything bad, I would automatically teleport there." He explained.

Who was talking to her?? Where did they come from?? "I'm you. Well, more like the darkness in you. And I've always been here, you just never opened up enough to let me in. Don't worry, I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help." Lilliana shook her head, holding it, trying to make the voice go away. "You're lying..." The voice laughed again. "No I'm not. Here, let me show you how to get to the altar. I'm your darkness, so I'm connected to that altar. It was made for people like us, after all." Suddenly a projection of the correct path played in Lilliana's mind, showing her how to get to the altar. She stood up, trying to ignore the voice, looming toward the innards of the cave. It seemed she had no choice but to trust it. She'd probably die in here otherwise. With that resolution in mind, she started making her way deeper.

Noir walked up to Yuto, placing a hand on his shoulder. "...alright. Yuto... did you feel this way growing up, too?"

Lumina had been mid-drink when Kenji said the word relationship, and she nearly choked on it out of surprise. She coughed a bit, trying to calm herself down before looking at Kenji.


"R-relationship...?"


She had read about dating in a book, but never really quite understood it. Or maybe she never bothered to read into it because she never figured it could happen to her. But her cheeks turned pink as she thought on what Kenji was saying.

It took about 30 minutes for her to get there, spiders stopping her occasionally on the way before she arrived in a room full of gold and riches, a room built to perfect and had a single circle-like altar at its center. It was the Dark Altar.

Yuto sighed. "That's just it... I couldn't. If I did then there would be no God of the Dark Exceeds and everything would be thrown out of balance..." He explained. "...Meaning my brother wouldn't exist."

Noir looked at Yuto. "Well I guess Noir has an easier choice, regarding that. But still.." she looked up to the mountain, a worried expression on her face.

Lilliana began walking up to the altar when she felt a stinging sensation on her arm. She looked down at it, realizing there was cut on it. "Ow.. when did that happen?" "Make a clone, and I can help you with that." "What? I can't do that..." "Don't worry, I'll help you." Lilliana raised up a hand, and with the help of the darkness a perfect clone appeared in front of her, except it was shadowy. It was.. a little weird, but kinda cool. After a moment the clone disappeared, then reappeared soon after, holding a first aid kit. It walked over to Lilliana, taking out the supplies to treat the wound. "What.. why..?" "I won't let anything bad happen to you... and deep down, as much as you don't trust me, you know I'm telling the truth." Lilliana was silent as she watched the clone.

Lumina looked at Kenji for a moment, seeing him get nervous, and it was then that she realized... he was actually being serious. She looked down at her own drink, getting a bit nervous as well.


"Y-Yeah we have..."


She didn't know what else to say. Were they in a relationship? It seemed like they were, after all the things they said and, well, did. It was embarrassing to think about.


"I-I guess we are d-dating, then..."

Origami looked at her book. "This?" She asks holding it up

"No, I meant what you said about learning new things. No offense when I say this Origami, but my mother used to say things to that effect. It's nostalgic to hear them again, I guess." He said, standing, and stretching his arm.

...❦She layed perfectly still for a moment, her chest neither rising or falling and she looked like she was dead before she jerked awake, letting out a scream in fear, which died down seconds later. Asuka put her head in her hands and cried, cried harder then the day before. It seemed she hadn't heard or seen Akira walk into the room, only repeating the words 'I'm sorry', how she 'could never forgive herself for what she's done' and how 'She didn't mean to hurt her'. Whatever Asuka saw or did, had obviously shaken her up and terrified her❦...





"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I didn't mean it!"

Noir hugged Yuto back, sighing worriedly. She looked up toward the mountain, her worries not fading. She couldn't help but feel that something wasn't right.

Lilliana watched as the clone stepped back, after fixing the wound. "Thanks..." she mumbled, looking back at the altar. Was it really worth it? She took a few steps toward it, getting nervous and uneasy. She had such resolve while coming here, why was she doubting herself now? She made up her mind. "Are you alright? You seem to have something on your mind." Lilliana looked up at the altar, sighing. "I dunno... just trying to steel myself for this... thing to happen." "What made you so determined to come here in the first place?" Lilliana clenched her fists, looking at the ground. "This is the only way I can protect them. My parents, Ken... I have to keep them safe. From me."


"You can keep them safe by using your power, yknow. Your father did it. And he's protecting you." Lilliana sighed. "I'm not like him. He can control it. I can't." "With my help, you ca-" "Shut up! It's my choice, not yours." She looked back up at the altar, taking a few more steps toward it. She would have taken more, but she heard a sound behind her. She turned her head a bit, seeing the clone walking toward her. "What..." "Sorry kid, I can't let you do that."
