Kimi sat on one of the benches out in the park, her eyes distant and in thought. The girl was getting stir crazy at her apartment. really needed some fresh air since she had locked herself in her place for several days. It was nice to have some peace and quiet, but sometimes it just ate at her nerves being cooped up for so long... probably because that's how she was as a kid. Always locked in. She shook that thought away... nope. Not going to be one of those depressing girls in a story, she thought.
The girl sipped on her canister which was filled with a blood substitute. It usually did the trick of quenching her thirst, but it was cold and tasteless, almost like water. It did nothing for her therapeutically. The dhampir let out a sigh and checked the time on her phone... she'd been out for a while... might need to head back home soon.
