Elyse watched, not saying a word. It was... beyond her words. So many beautiful lights coming together... so that's what a firework was. She had read stories, but never actually seen any in person. For that matter, she had never been to a festival either. So this... this was amazing. She looked back up at Kili, glad she could share this with him.

Kili smiled at her, and grasped her hand as they watched the scene before them. He stood there in silence, enjoying the beauty of the fireworks until Elyse said she was ready to move on.
