The Eternal Phoenix of Unbreakable Brass


The Eternal Phoenix is one of the oldest exalts, if not the oldest still alive. One should think that matter would be settled as he is one of the original 300 solar incarnations, however the time warping weapons used during the primordial war and the fact that he keeps silent about the exact length of time that passed during the Time of Cascading Years from his perspective.


His actions during the Primordial war are the stuff of legends, even today every child is told the story of how the Eternal, at the end of the war, held of Malfeas including all of his sub-souls for three days give the rest of the host time to defeat the remaining Primordials and force them to surrender. even then the Eternal kept fighting until his, the soon to be Yozi, and the rest of the Eclipse and Zenith castes combined effort finally convinced the King of All to surrender.


After the war the Eternal spoke for exiling the Yozis instead of imprisoning them, but as he was exhausted, both physically and psychically he wasn’t able to convince anyone.


Once the matter of the Yozis had been dealt with, the creation ruling mandate had been given, and all of the Eternals wounds had been healed. He left the east in order to return to his homeland in the south, where he quickly carved out a kingdom for himself, that retained its independence until the Dissolution invasion and the aftershock war. Then the Eternal freely joined the deliberative, both in order to more effective defend Creation and as an excuse for taking far less interest in his nation. Centuries later his arrogance became so great that he no longer feel the need for an excuse from doing anything he doesn’t want to.


After the war, and the thousand struggles era The Eternal took a deep interest in the reformed Deliberative, and gathered so much support and influence, during its founding that, he was able to hold equal standing with the Hierophant himself. However The Eternal dislikes this arrangement, since he sees himself as the clear superior of the two, but he has been unable to, despite countless attempts, to surpass him, and establish a clear dominance.


Aria – the Flame of the Hearth


Aria is The Eternal Phoenix of Unbreakable Brasses personal royal warstrider, built in his likeness out of pure Orichalcum. It was named after his Lunar wife’s first incarnation at the Eternals personal insistence. The Name is not the only thing it shares with his old mate, in fact the warstrider’s AI was made to be a perfect copy of her, both in the form it takes and in its carefree personality.


This made it so that when the Eternal attuned to it and she showed herself to him for the first time, he instantly fell in love with her, and began spending most of his time attuned to “herâ€. His love for the AI made him make a grave mistake, one day he realized that he had spent to much time with “her†and so “she†had missed her maintenance session. Horrified he realized that “she†might be hurt if he ever unattuned himself from her. He therefore vowed to never do that, and learned a charm for sending “her†elsewhere, specifically so that he wouldn’t risk “her†harm.


By now it is several centuries since he made that decision, and savants theorize that if he were to leave “her†by now, “she†would crumble to fine dust.


Aria is outfitted with the finest flight system that was possible at the time of her creation (artifact 5).


A small essence cannon with essence batteries to match are built inside each of her hands, placed strategically alongside her back and forearms sits 6 essence capacitors, as emergency power sources, while a (now shattered) hearthstone sits in her brow.


In addition to his beloved warstrider Aria, the Eternal has few other artifacts in combat he wields Elistar the Nigthcleaver, a warstrider sized daiklave made of Orichalcum, and with prayers to the Unconquered Sun and the maiden of battle, etched in starmetal along its length.

The Roar of Eternity Lost


When the first of the Primordials fell, it let go of a terrifying scream of fury and rage. This roar reached the entire world, from the deepest pits in the western ocean to the peak of the great eastern trees, even in the hall of his surviving brethren in Yu-Shan. The power of this roar was so great as to imprint itself into every soul alive at that moment. As they died and entered Lethe their souls were cleansed of this mark, before it was reborn. However not every soul was reincarnated, some of them became ghosts and stayed in the underworld for a shorter or longer time, this gigantic cloak was woven by Berengiere, the Weaver of Voices from the voices of 101 of these ghost, freely given in exchange for reincarnation destined to exalt as a dragonblooded from The Eternal Phoenixes gente.


By imitating the power and frequency of this roar the wearer can teleport to anyplace in creation and Yu-shan, however this requires expending 5m, success on a difficulty 4 performance roll (difficulty 6 if teleporting between creation and yu-shan), and makes the wearer appear within (10 - thresshold successes, minimum 10 yards) miles from his intended destination, in combat the wearer must take a miscellaneous action before disappearing on his next action. The cloak cost 5m to attune to.

Hearthstones:


During the first age the Eternal Phoenix of Unbreakable Brass was know as a collector of Manses and hearthstones, however as the Usurpation began his former servants destroyed all but two of them the inviolable Pillar, and the Tempel of Sleeping Fire, the first because they didn’t know it existed, and the second because they, didn’t dare destroy it for fear of the chaos zhar-pitsa would cause if freed.


The inviolable Pillar


This manse consist of a enormous pillar of steel with runes of white jade, and occult markings keeping it outside of fate, and impossible to find. It was built in the deepest secret in the hearth of mount Dari a mountain in the Eternal Phoenix of Unbreakable Brass’s domain, its entire workforce consisting of summoned demons, and the local god of the mountain first bribed while the construction happened. And when it was finished the demons and the god was ghost-eaten, just to satisfy the Eternals growing paranoia.

Shortly after the first lesser elemental dragons, became greater elemental dragons lost their mind, the Unconquered Sun Declared that they should be locked away for the good of creation. While the Kukla was held prison in a mountain at the bottom of the sea, the nature of zhar-pitsa, the first Greater Elemental Dragon of fire, required a different kind of Prison.


He was therefore captured in this specially built Manse made of a colossal Ruby, shaped into a great temple, it every feature a prayer to make him sleep safely and to honor Hesiesh, from the runes on the great pillars, to the layout and the placement of the great pillar of fire in its center. 650 Garda birds where then bound by the command of the Sun to defend it, until he ordered zhar-pitsa freed, and the Eternal Phoenix of Unbreakable Brass was given the duty of defending it against any threat they couldn’t stop, enforced by the oaths of 3 powerful Eclipse

Artifacts and manses approved. Especially the manses, very flavourful. If you want, you can get rid of the Lower Level Hearthstone flaw in the Temple of Sleeping Fire. It's a potent manse, I'd grant it at least one extra point.
