☠ The Epidemic of Eternal Eden ☠
In the year 2045 AD, a famous entrepreneur known as Elliot Greene reveals her latest product to the public during a tech expo presentation. However after the unveiling of her invention shown to the public, Greene immediately collapses with several seizures on stage causing panic and chaos among the crowd and those who were watching the presentation at home on screen.
The emergency vehicle rushed Greene to the hospital as emergency physicians struggle to keep her alive. Unfortunately she did not make it and died on the way to the hospital due to unknown causes. A few days later following the death of Elliot Greene, more people begin to fall ill across the world with varying symptoms ranging from fever, nausea, paresthesia and much more. Things only get worse when it appears that the number of ill people multiply with each passing day and those who have fallen sick end up dead from a few minutes to a few hours.
This wide spread pandemic has caught the attention of the World Health Organization aka W.H.O. Many doctors and scientists across the world study this mysterious virus from ill subjects. Upon further testing, W.H.O realize that this pathogen is capable of spreading airborne and has the ability to mutate and evolve rapidly causing multiple delays in the search for a vaccine to this deadly virus now named “EVO-1” which stands for Evolutionary Virus One. This marks the start of a plague that would soon eat away at the human population
Ten long years have passed since the sudden appearance of EVO-1. The year is 2050, the global government has pooled all of their financial resources into researching a vaccine for this disease. The death toll at this point has been up to an estimated amount of 4.5 billion deaths which is about 55% of the entire population. Many delays and failures along with the rapid mutation of the EVO-1 virus leads to a last resort project that would preserve future generations until a cure is found.
The project is known as “Eternal Eden” a giant dome which contains a fully functional ecosystem, city and preservation center located in the middle of the atlantic ocean. Only minors who has not caught the virus is allowed sanctuary inside this miracle of a place at the only cost is that they must wear a metallic medical anklet bracelet at all times in order to be monitored in chance of finding a cure to this virus. Thus W.H.O continues to research for a cure inside this dome of cleanliness and solitude.
