He is waking--
Earth plummeted into chaos and darkness nearly overnight. It started with the hounds; black dogs, as large as horses. Then came the black blooded ones, human in form, but far from human in mind. Then came the spirits, cold, hungry. All were murderous, tearing down cities piece by piece until there was nothing but ashes.
The people left alive fled into the countrysides and mountains, trying to alienate themselves for protection, some forming groups, others opting to hide away on their own. For years it stayed this way; the earth was engulfed in darkness and fear, and practically ruled by the king of hell himself who watched gleefully as his children kept his playthings in check.
Then, from the shadow, there emerged a brightness.
They called themselves The Profits, a group of highly trained survivors who had each been visited by an Archangel and gifted powers. Their mission is simple-- save the people of earth and bring them to the light. This is the end of days, the apocalypse, the fall and salvation of men.
