PERSONALITY:
Gail is a prissy and fancy young lady who obnoxiously puts her appearance and herself first before anything else. One might claim she's selfish and self-absorb and they couldn't be more right! She wants everything and everyone at the tip of her fingers. She's sassy, overconfident and manipulative. Also be wary not to trust this one completely since she'll gladly shove you into a cliff if her life depends on it.

Defining Trait: Futakichi is the "Jaws" that are on Mawhile's head, where in this case, it has an embodiment of it's own. It appears when she removes her head gear, a cloth that charismatically takes it's own form as a headdress. Similar to magic from a top hat, Futakichi appears as a demonic, monstrous anomaly. However, as in Pokemon, Mariko's "jaws" are her only method of attack. Once Futakichi is defeated, she has no way of attacking on her own, only able to resort to fleeing.


Personality


Mariko appears to be a collected, cold, and cunning by nature. She displays a high level of intellect, often showing herself to be competent and insightful, though with this, she's often seen as cynical and antagonistical, trying to explot the weakness of others for her own gain. Fortunately, she lacks the ability to defend herself, as her only means of defense is through her "jaws", Futakichi. Because of this, she's often silenced by the strength of others, knowing well enough on her own she can't beat anyone. Mariko tries to keep her distance from people, and seems to take great difficulty in trusting others, especially with the means of the apocalyptic setting that they're placed in as of right now. Her views on the journey are critical, her accompaniment with the guild strictly set on self-preservation than the good of gijinkas.

The strange, demonic anomaly, her "jaws", Futakichi, is much similar to that of a hostile, wild animal. Only Mariko can directly communicate with it, and it's inhuman strength and constitution make it a horrible force to reckon with. Mariko relies on it as her only source of offense, yet the being by itself is useless, unable to comprehend it's own thoughts without her. Because of this, it often dissipates when left a radius too far from Mariko.

Defining Trait: Unlike many of his clan, Chase runs physically, despite most of his people being used to special attacks. With this, he wields two blades, to which he refers to them as "his babies". Even while he runs physically, he is capable of utilizing his blades for directing special attacks, such as short flare or air blades.


Personality


Chase is awfully hot-headed and rough around the edges, though it's perhaps his obliviousness and naivety that makes him a charismatic person. Without much of a grasp at situations at hand, he runs into situations without thinking them through, often getting him or others hurt. Despite his phenomenal strength, constitution, and sympathy, he doesn't seem to have the smartest head on him, getting frustrated easily. Even so, he holds a very brother-like personality, quick to sympathize and help people, much to his childhood friends disliking. With a heart similar of a child, he greatly enjoys the prospect and hopes to become a hero.

Personality// Abby is a hard-working and dedicated leader, honest but encouraging with her guildmembers. While not the worst fighter ever, she does tend to lean more on the strategical side of things. After all, it's been a while since she last set foot in a Mystery Dungeon...

History// From the moment Abby stepped into Ridgepeak Town, she was something of a walking legend. The town gains its name from the ridge it overlooks, leading down into a massive crater from which no one's returned from. That was, until Abby strolled into town one day from the direction of the center of the crater. Immediately, she took an interest in the already set up Explorer's Guild stationed with in town. It wasn't a guild of repute or note, really. But they taught her the basics to combat and exploration. Eventually, Abby managed to work her way into the Guildmaster position, gaining a fair amount of personal fame in the process from the dangerous but rewarding expeditions she went on. Anything from Zero Isle to the depths of the sea, it was said there was no dungeon that Abby couldn't best. To be on her team in a dungeon was supposedly the highest honor she could bestow. As such, many hopefuls flocked to her guild, which she renamed to the Guild of the Divine Guard, but very few measured up to Guildmaster Abby's standards. In the course of a few years, Abby built up the guild from the ground, gaining both reputation personally and for the guild among explorers of all walks of life.

When the first of the great storms rolled in, many turned to Guildmaster Abby to make decisions. However, the guildmaster was just as dumbfounded in these turn of events as everyone else was. Unable to come up with a solution more than flee, the once great Guildmaster seemed to be falling from grace. The size of the guild dwindled, and many more discredited Abby and her exploits. By the time the towns were blown to rubble, many had forgotten about Guildmaster Abby and the Guild of the Divine Guard.

But Abby hasn't forgotten why she did all this in the first place.

Personality: More often than not, Kurama comes across as nothing more than an old grouch. Rarely does he have the patience for the antics of the younger Pokemon around him. Arceus help you if you try to grab and pull on one of his tails. But past the rather rough exterior, the Ninetales cares a lot about the ones he works with, looking after each kit placed in his care as if they were his own. Kurama isn't afraid to take a harsh approach when guiding others. However, there are times when even he is gentle.

    Age:     Sixteen

    Appearance:     Koi is a young man standing at a surprising 5'0, his face round and baby-like and his skin smooth and tan from being in the sun all day. He has bright hazel eyes and red short spiky hair with a big crown shaped yellow tuft at the front, and at the back of his head, a large stiff fin can be seen, waggling or flopping depending on the moods he's in. His outfit is usually a red hoodie with yellow strings and blue jean shorts with socks and brown wooden sandals at the bottom. Strapped to his back is a yellow knapsack and he always wears a read beanie, a small hole at the back cut to free his fin.

    Personality: Unlike the Magikarp race, which is usually quiet and humble, Koi is loud, a bit of a hot-head, and cocky. Whether a conscious choice or not, Koi likes to brag about things such as his achievements, his possessions, and even his future goals! He faces every challenge as if its the easiest thing he's ever done and usually rushes in headfirst, but will get frustrated if he can't do it, trying to hide it and always failing miserably as a result. It's hard for him to admit defeat, and whether its good or bad, he'll always stand back up and try again. He's also pretty gullible and naive on some things!

    Despite his faults, Koi does have his good qualities. He's always willing to make friends, able to forgive easily and look at people behind their appearance. He's also kind, always willing to stick up for the little guys due to the fact he never liked it when he's always being bullied. And he's loyal as well, Sticking by anyone who'd given him a chance and would help them without question.

    Biography: Koi was born in a small village near the beach known as Karpton. As he grew up, most of the residents have slowly began to realize he wasn't like the other kids. Instead of playing with sticks safely in the village like the other kids, he would always run to the forbidden forest filled with dangerous Juvenille Gijinkas, wanting adventure and excitement. And many times when one of them would come into the Village and try bullying one of the Civilians, Koi was always there yelling at them and challenging them. Finally, his father decided to take Koi, sit him down, and tell him the ways of a Magikarp.

    ...And he didn't like it.

    He didn't want to be some docile farmer who solved every little problem with trade! He wanted to be an adventurer! A Heroic One! One who'll stick up for the little guys! But more importantly, as he grew older, he wanted to be the first ever Magikarp to prove everyone wrong. And so, at the age of thirteen, Koi had secretly ran away from the Village to pursue his own path! There were many adventures to be had, but as he traveled, he took notice that none had more adventures than guild members! And so, he had tried to join a guild.

    ...It hadn't gone well.

    Many guilds laughed at him, told him he didn't have the potential or just simply didn't have the attitude, yet just kept looking. And one day, he had finally encountered a guild that accepted him, a guild that saw the potential inside him. And for the next three years, he stuck with them. He trained himself and even got to participate in a few dungeon runs himself! Life was good for Koi...until the crystals appeared and earthquakes became a daily occurrence.

Personality || A bookish and intellectual young man, it may be somewhat surprising that Faron decided to go the more dangerous route in life. Upon closer inspection though, perhaps it isn't so. Although less rowdy than many of those he's befriended, he has always been the one to poke into situations that an otherwise ordinary and sane person would avoid.

For instance, poking and prodding with his bare hands at a Beedrill hive.

He has an incredibly laid-back personality otherwise from his extreme stunts he pulls from time to time, though to the point his carefree attitude might seem like he doesn't care in dire situations unfortunately.
Faron, does in fact care, but too afraid to show his insecurities and anxieties, he masks it all with a smile and a shrug.

History || His memories of his family are vague, as he isn't particularly close to any of them. From what he remembers however, he came from a sleepy village up in the north by a large graveyard near the seaside. It was nice enough, but he felt he wanted more. He left his village when he was fifteen, tired of scaring travelers as they paid their respects to the dead.

From what Faron recalls, he traveled aimlessly, just taking in the view and found a good friend along the way, though they went their separate paths a few months before he came across the guild he works for today. However, it was due to said friend that he even went out to look for it in the first place and the one of the reasons he's here today.

Personality: Practically emotionless, Curtanna makes decisions based on self-preservation rather than a want to help others. The only thing known to shatter their emotionless shell is combat. Cruel and merciless, Curtanna loves to extend the suffering of whatever's unfortunate enough to cross their blade.

History: "They say curiosity can kill you, a caring heart isn't any better."

It wasn't long after the disasters had started, a rather freshly minted Gardevoir had split off from her caravan in search of medicinal berries. She had yet to grow accustomed to the large increase in psychic ability that came with evolving. Her desire to help pokemon in need soon drew her to the sounds of cries for help. Having never heard of Honedge or its related forms, she was confused when the cries led her to a rusting, discarded sword and shield. "We were dropped while trying to escape one of those storms," the voice said, "We've been trapped here ever since."

Feeling sorry for the strange pokemon, the Gardevoir picked up the sword and shield, looking to take them back with her. "We can help you," she'd said, "maybe we'll even find your friends on the road."

The struggle for control lasted a week before Curtanna gained complete control over their new body.

As the caravan grew suspicious, she slipped away into the night. It wasn't long before she stumbled on a guild looking to solve the cause of the impending apocalypse.

Serving as proof of their foolish attempt at grabbing the sword and a good indication of their condition.

Iriana is a peaceful soul. Her presence is calm and gentle, like a stream lapping at the shore. Her voice is soothing and soft-spoken. She tends to get lost in the crowd compared to her larger, more rambunctious poke friends. The Musharna-girl has a persistent love for the world around her; she considers it her goal to help her friends find happiness and to assist in keeping her community well. Furthermore, she’s very emotional and sympathetic to the concerns of those around her. She’ll help a stranger in need, cry with a friend, and bake poffins to cheer someone up.

However, while the girl has a heart of love, she struggles with boldness and bravery. She sometimes loses her voice to those around her; it can be hard for her to stand up for herself. Iriana doesn’t like interjecting, leading, or interfering. Additionally, the girl has a hard time leaving her comfort-zone. Dangerous situations scare her. She looks to others to find security in times of trouble, and usually just needs a friend to push her and help her be brave.

History: Iriana was born in a sleepy forest along the ocean side, a place where the trees swayed to the humming of the wind. She was raised in a loving family of three: her mom, dad, and younger brother. The girl enjoyed a sweet childhood of plucking berries off trees and running barefoot in the sand. However, as she began to reach her teenage years, a famine swept across her town. Berries became a rare sight. Her family struggled to survive. The girl watched her brother’s ribs become more noticeable, and her mom work extra hours in an attempt to make more money. From this point on, she became determined not only to help her own family, but the families around her, as well.

Rai’s presence is loud and commanding; his yellow and blue eyes seem to demand you to look at him. Standing near the male feels electric, metaphorically and legitimately. His body sends off a hum of electricity into the air. This electricity can increase on his mood, and when he becomes immersed in one of his typical mood swings electricity will quite visibly shoot from his hands and arms. For the most part, Rai is laidback and chill. Most are comfortable around him. He isn’t hard to talk to and gets along with nearly everyone. He’s quite personable and charming and has a tendency to put others at ease. However, his personality can be overpowering. He likes being in control and having power. When he doesn’t get his way, he’ll argue and fight until he does. Furthermore, he isn’t forgiving and it isn’t rare for him to hold a grudge for years.

History:

Rai was born under a cloudless sky in a lush field that stretched as far as the eye could see. He was presumably abandoned by his Blitzle/Zebstrika family, as he was instead raised by Ponyta and Rapidash. The subject of family is still hard for the male and he doesn’t like talking about it. Growing up was difficult, as he was obviously different from his counterparts and stuck out uncomfortably. While his family was loving and helpful, the male wasn’t ever able to fit in. Once Rei turned 16, he headed his own way and left his hometown.

Personality || Ambitious and cheerful, Aden is most literally the definition of youth. A bit loudmouthed, he has good intentions even if something rude slips out of his mouth once in awhile. Though quickly nearing adulthood, he's still as brash as ever as if he was still in his teens. Nothing seems impossible to him and one of his many mottoes he lives by is "Never give up!". Truth be told, he may not even have 'give up' in his vocabulary.
Being so adamant in his beliefs, Aden might annoy those with more pessimistic views, but nonetheless he has good manners (most of the time) and a cheerful attitude to go with it.

History || Not much is known about his past. He tends to be secretive about it, and even a bit ashamed.
From what he's told, he came from a faraway town somewhere in the east and was an only child. Both his parents were explorers, and it was because of them did he also want adventure in his life.

    Age: Eighteen

    Appearance: Chazona's look is...unnerving to say the least. She stands at a looming 6 feet and her body is slightly voluptuous, her face beautiful and sculpted, but her skin jet black, slightly muscular, and incredibly cold. Her eyes are nothing but blood red scleras with only tiny black pupils and no iris, and she has rear-length bed-hair that glows a vibrant yellow. But her most noticeable feature is her four long black arms, her fingernails sharp and painted blue. Her outfit is nothing but a yellow dress with blue horizontal stripes, her underclothes actually being bandages that cover her body from neck to ankles. And she wears a yellow and blue Egyptian headpiece atop her...well, head.

    Personality: Chazona is...an oddball. She's talkative and friendly in a strange way, speaking in a playful manner and willing to hangout with anyone, but the way she moves and speaks makes it hard to tell if she's trying to scare you or befriend you. She's also a flirt with anyone older or two years younger than her, as well as being a bit too touchy with people she takes an interest in. But don't be fooled by her silly nature...she's a complete psychopath.

    She finds personal enjoyment in watching people, whether friend or foe, squirm at the sight of her (yet she also secretly likes it when they don't as well), and it fills her with even more glee when her enemies are in physical or mental pain. She's not afraid of killing, actually have done so in the past for reasons some have a hard time deciphering between good or bad, and she isn't afraid to flaunt this to her pals back at the guild. She's even found a hobby in following and observing people without them noticing, loving to find out little secrets or just jump out and scare them. You can hate her or love her, but always be cautious around this one.

    Biography: Ages ago, she used to be just a small girl who would carry a mask. She doesn't remember much of her childhood, other than wandering the deserts looking for something to do or just a friendly face to talk to, meek as a little doe. But as the years went on, her encounters and the trials she faced grew more viscous...and so did her. Before long, after her evolution, she had finally found her way out of the deserts and at the guild, to where she joined due to the thrill of dark dungeons and powerful pokemon to extermina-I mean...defeat. She has had many experiences at the guild, and although her personality is still unstable, there's a soft spot growing inside her...

    There just needs to be a few...brave individuals to bring it out.

Personality// Levina is one huge nervous wreck which isn't really that surprising given the situation. She is unusually jumpy and lets bad thoughts pile up more than good ones which leads her to always think about how something could go tragically wrong and worse case scenarios. Though her mind is just filled to the brim with negativity she claims that her thoughts are only realistic and that she simply won't be positive if not given a reason to be.

It's not uncommon to see her mumbling to herself about her own concerns or disagreements, often she can get lost in her own thoughts due to her tendency to overthink and fret over small things. She can be a bit dramatic at times and can exaggerate stuff way out of proportion when extremely anxious.

Though she comes across as cowardly (which she more or less is) she's never afraid to speak her mind. A lot of the time she outwardly criticizes the members of the guild for being ''too relaxed'', sometimes even going on long rants on how they should be more alert than ever now that the world is coming to a end. Overall she just wants herself and everybody else to survive long enough to see the end of this nightmare.

    Personality: Nexus might be considered young, but is nearly always calm and collected as he routinely meditates to maintain his focus and aura, preferring to analyze the situation rather than blindly rushing in unprepared. Quick and nimble, he attempts to either sneak around or speed past with his abilities rather than fight, mostly using them as a way to quickly scout and survey an area, but when directly encountered, he tries to use his speed and other abilities to be able to even the odds when necessary. Out of the direct field though, he tends to be quiet but wise with his words, happy to be able to talk and help others with even simple things. He's loyal to his cause, especially with the guild, wanting to try his hardest not only to survive...but find a way to end this reign of disasters striking the world. However, as aforementioned, he must constantly have time to meditate to try and focus upon his aura as well as balancing regular sleep, which is slowly becoming less and less effective. Without his proper meditation, it's similar to that of sleep deprivation, with him becoming weaker, more sluggish, irritable, and of course much more making him prone to stress, only making the cycle even worse.

Personality: On the outside others will think that Elias is an impulsive and a person with a big ego, who wants everything to himself and will do anything to get, but they are wrong. Elias is someone that is always calm and is barely serious at all. He is so that's hard to get angry and will usually look at that person trying to get him mad with a look of indifference. When speaking he is blunt and usually makes other get mad at him. One thing that usually throws other off is that he is usually always clean and never gets dirty when battling. He is someone that heavily relies on attack than defense
