Does anyone have a page reverence/number of where i can find some in depth information on the elemental poles :?:

Thx in advance

The only thing that I remember about the poles talks about as you travel closer to each one, Creation becomes more and more focused.  Heading south, you will come to a plain of endless fire.  North is a frozen expanse.

I seem to recall from the Kingdom of Halta book reading rumors that as you journey east, the forest extends forever and each tree is a powerful manse.  It also stated that this was probably just tall tales told to entertain.

The fifth pole, the one of Earth, is discussed in the Fair Folk book along with the info on the Mountain Folk.  They are the only Fair Folk stuck permenantly in Creation, and they are in service to the Empire.  The Machine God freed them from the prison that was made around them by the creation of the world.  He then set them to work making many of the wonders that were later given to the Exalted in their battle with the Primordials.  After the war, the Solars made Autochron place a geas on them to prevent them from ever permenantly leaving their mountan home.  That was one of the things that led him to abandon Creation to the outer Void with his followers that he could take with him.

There are varying references to the Poles all over the line, but 19 is the best bet. What exactly are you curious about?

Well ive heard read a few things along the line... but i guess i just want to know, Whats There :?:

Ive heard that there is a DB martial artist defending each pole of his/her corrispoding element.

And also in the caste book of night i think it sadi that your blood would litaraly freeze the closer you got to the northern pole, you would be burned to ash at the center of the fire pole and just stuff like that... any truth

I find these references for First Edition:

There seems to be a shift in perspective in Second Edition regarding the location of the Wyld in relation to the poles. In First Edition, most references treat the poles as an ultimate barrier, to which the Wyld leads. In Second Edition, there are many references to things "beyond" the poles, including the Wyld. These are references from Second Edition:

  • Defined - Exalted 2, pg 16
  • Fair Folk dwell "beyond" poles - Exalted 2, pg 16
