Baldur looked over at Kage, then back at Asura. He huffed, before turning back into his human form. He looked over at Kage and grabbed his stuff. "I'm sleeping outside."

Asura calmed down and walked deeper into the cave. Not saying anything to Baldur or Kage.

"im not apologizing for breaking the sword. do you know how many times i've been forced to have a blade forced into my skin over and over again and only having it stop just before you die? only to repeat the process immediately after most of the major injuries heal? or do you know how many times i've nearly been killed by a sword just for accidentally bumping into the wrong person? and that's not even the worst of the shit thats been done to me as a kid." Asura exploded, though his tone and volume were scarily calm and quiet. He closed his eyes for a minute and let out a deep breath. "sorry, forget about what i just said."

"So? It was the last thing my mom gave to him," Kage said with a glare. "It was her sword she used when she lead a small army to save a few of our kind abut 15 years ago. It's special," She then listened to the part about his past. "I'm sorry for whatever happened to you."

H stared at his hand clenching and unclenching it. Asura felt the urge to hold Kage stir again... feeling that it might relax him like when he'd held her earlier.

Serena gripped the crystal umbrella tightly, and grinned.
"Hunters? Where? I love hunters, especially when I make them scream!"


Serena started to giggle again. She loved to fight, and loved to make enemies suffer, it just makes her happy.

Opal looked back sat Serena, her calm yet cheerful face much different than hers. "I see what you mean by your name being the wrong fit for your personality. Should I see if I could get their attention?" She was about to transform back when she picked up shouting from where she had come from before. "Do you hear that? It sounds like it's coming from that way." She pointed in the direction of the noise. "I saw a dragon over there earlier. Should we investigate?"

Asura pushed out a breath. "whatever." He reached up and attempted to pull Kage into his lap, like earlier. He did it slowly so Kage could pull away if she wanted. "anyways i'll apologize for breaking the sword later. but now while i've still got traces of anger in my system."

Baldur set up his tent a little higher up on the mountain, in a cave that was more like a dent in the side of the mountain. He had dug a hole and made a makeshift forge, using his molten gold and fire with rain water that pooled in another hole. He busily worked on the blade, making sure that it looked perfect and pristine.


"I want to give you this Baldur. As a way of saying thank you for all that you have done for me and Atlas. Don't break it, okay, Sunshine?"


"I won't. Thanks, Snowflake."


"Seriously Baldur? I thought we were over this."


"I will never give up, little sis. I love you."


"I love you to, Goldilocks."


Baldur's cheeks felt wet. It.. it was probably just the rain. Yeah.. just the rain. He cupped his hands over his face and wept silently.

She allowed herself to be pulled into his lap, "I'll go check on him later. I hope he isn't doing anything stupid." She let out a sigh, "I really hope he won't hold it against you."

Asura rested his chin on Kage's shoulders lightly after she entered his lap. His arms also encircled her loosely. "... yeah i hope he doesn't either..." Asura's tone was like a child who knew they were in the wrong. His face took on the look of a kid who didn't want to be hated. The tone and look were Asura's true feelings. He was a kid in the sense that he didn't want to be disliked by people.... mostly because he'd been hated as a kid so that feeling had carried over.

"well... what hasn't happened. i was a manual labor slave at one point. then i was sold to an underground fighting thing. where either you killed or you wouldn't see tomorrow.... there's a lot that's happened." He answered with a shrug. "did you want to know about my whole past? or just some of it? either way, its a long story."
