The doctor was sprawled out on a hot surface, dehydrated, hungry, and paralyzed. He tried to see, but his eyes would not respond. The only thing he could do was listen for something to happen. He immediately recognized the hard, metallic voice of a dalek. This is going to be harder than i thought. So the doctor, as the doctor always does, the doctor needed a companion.
