Alex had been watching as the group began to discuss and talk over their strategical advantages and disadvantages of the situation. To be frank, this system seemed fair, everyone here, having combat experience or not, was of the same rank, they were their own class outside of JTF rank systems (except their higher ups of course), and they were technically their own branch, so jurisdictions for them were pretty iffy. As Alex began to put his respirator over his mouth, a ping was suddenly catching his attention.

If any of the group had noticed, Alex had begun walking a few feet away towards the ping, the sonar hit of the direction of the Base of Operations, surely they'll get the hint to at least get moving. The walk itself to the base was about a 15 minute walk, might as well get started. "We should definitely make a choice during the move there", Alex spoke over his shoulder as he began making his moves, "Aren't gonna accomplish anything if we just sit around."

The time felt rather quick, but discussion could've definitely been done the entire time of this. The voice of ISAC rung through their ear pieces once more as Alex brought a hand up to cover his ear about 8 minutes of walking, standing still.

"ECHO LOCATED NEARBY."
With a perk of the eyebrow, Alex suddenly looks at a nearby street camera, hitting a few buttons on his watch to see a diagram be laid out. As these orange grids and lines began to appear in front of them, it shows what looks like several crews of JTF soldiers sprinting in a frozen image towards of where the panicking was coming from over the intercoms, to the East where the location of another JTF checkpoint was on their GPS. By the looks of it, the footprints aren't super old, but they have been there for awhile. Alex then makes a face of startling discovery, it seemed throughout the situation, he never noticed.

The sounds of gunfire and screaming is now echoing towards the site of where the Echo soldiers were going. He brings his eyes to the location of the Base of Operations, seeing that it's only a few more minutes away, the sounds of Gunfire, definitely sounding further down the street, but more frantic than ever over the radios.

Alex turns to the crew once more, a look of grim sincerity, "Well, this is our last chance, everyone still wants to head towards the Base of Operations?"

It seemed like the boys didn't like the interaction between her and Michelle, but it didn't matter. It was clear that she was alone in this. Amelia shifted uncomfortably, looking away as her hand came up to her nose. Rubbing the tip with one of her knuckles, she was obviously taking a moment to think about what to say. She was outvoted here, Scott and Michelle obviously not into her train of thought. And the newbie she still didn't know the name of was in the middle, apparently trying to comprise but Amelia knew what his words meant. He was trying to keep the peace, but he was leaning on heading to the base. "I don't think we should just...let those people die. The JTF are reservists, military, like you guys. Would you want to be abandoned by your backup?" Amelia asked, finally looking back at the group before her attention turned to Alex.

He had started moving, and not wanting to fall behind, she quickly secured her mask back on her face and started following. He had been silent on the issue, either not wanting to take part in what could be a decision with terrible consequences, or if he just wasn't sure what to do. It didn't matter, silence didn't help either party. She was trying to come up with more ways, something else to convince these hard-asses to help the people they were supposed to be helping when she heard the ECHO ping too.

Coming to stop, she watched as Alex activated it, ISAC not forcing hee to do the same in order to show her what was going on. This only solidified the idea they needed to help the soldiers. And that was all she was asking, help the soldiers, then go to the base. Not run around for a few hours and help every Tom, Dick, and Jerry they found. As the gunfire and screams go more desperate, she turned to look at the three who wanted to head straight for the base. "You know where I stand. I guess this is up to you three." Maybe they saw her as naive. She was young, no previous military experience, but she was an agent just like them and they weren't even giving her a good reason to ignore the JTF soldiers. People, who just like them, were giving up their lives to help their city.

"I guess we'll continue then", Alex replies with an affirmed nod, the group seemingly quiet and dead set on moving towards the Base of Operations. Perhaps they were right, whatever was going on, was none of their concern, orders, are orders. They were soldiers first after all. "Hopefully this won't bite our ass later..", he mutters to DeMarco, seeing her point, but, the majority had made their say. With another check on his respirator to make sure it was tightened and well fit, he starts to head towards the direction of the Base of Operations, giving the group a wave of his arm in a way of lead.

The walk took like estimated, another 15 minutes of time. As they began to approach the outskirts of the building, many can notice groups of soldiers and guards positioned around the entrance of the building, looking strangely at the group with confused eyes as to why civilians were just, waltzing in, before seeing the glowing orange on your backpacks. The guards immediately backed off, returning to their posts as Alex approached the entrance with a chuckle, "Didn't mean to scare or confuse you boys, sorry about that." One of the guards tilts his cap with a grin, "Don't worry about it, Captain is ready for ya in there." Alex nods and looks over to his shoulder to the group as he steps in.

The walk through the decontamination chamber was slow, but didn't need any stopping of movement as it sprayed and cleaned them of any chance of contagions as you pursued your orders. At the end of the hall, stepping out of a small office, was a man in uniform, this man, unlike the JTF troops around, wasn't in camo, but was in civilian attire similar to yourselves. One could also notice the old familiar glowing watch on his wrist.

"Captain Michaels, nice to see some more friendly faces", the older male told the crew, "Welcome to our current base of Operations, come on in, I'll show you what's going on." He gave them a hand gesture of a follow wave, before returning to the office. "Seems self explanatory enough huh?", Alex retorts to you all with a chuckle as he follows him in.
