Jersey returned soon after looking at both Lucifer and Mr.A "Are you two done yet? Cause I'm in a hurry since I do have a meeting with my father!" Though his father's identity was hidden from the modern angels, most demons who know Jersey know that his Father is satan so that is why he is highly respected in hell and by most demons and is also feared by most angels who know this. Lucifer was to be his escort.
"Oh that's right! I was meant to escort you to Hell! Better talk another time Mr. A!" Lucifer said and bowed politely to Mr. A before he jumped down from the tree and back down on the ground, he opened a portal to Hell and let Jersey walk before him.
"After you," Lucifer said as he looked around to make sure no humans were close by, few demons could open and close the portal to hell after all, and bringing down humans or angels into hell would be quite the commotion.
Jersey dived Into the portal and was in hell, oh how he missed the stench and the screams. He wondered if more of his old friends were still alive. He felt right at home but he waited for Lucifer to escort him to his Father.
Lucifer walked into the portal and closed it after himself, the feeling of being surrounded by Hell's flames and right off by their source was wonderful. But he had to leave due to the Devil himself commanding him too, man what a drag he could be sometimes.
"Now, can you find your way to the Devil on your own, or would you like me to walk you?" Lucifer asked as he was happy to see his friend again after so many years, but would love to mess around with the humans a bit longer, destruction was his kind of fun after all.
"Oh, and tell him I said hello. He's such a drag, but he knows how to rule at least," Lucifer said, without fear for the Devil as they were on good terms.
"I'll walk with you. Why were you gone for so long anyway? You didn't even send a postcard," Lucifer sulked as he looked around and thought of what had changed, but not a whole lot came to mind except in his own situation where he wasn't as unsure and had grown fond of working under the Devil's rule.
"I suppose I have gotten the honor of controlling the blue flames of the Devil himself, and I am in charge of Hell's army, but any time you want it you can have it. I've never been a big fan of responsibilities, they ruin the fun. Otherwise I believe most of what was once you were here is the same, except from the increasing souls that comes in, humans. They sin so easily, it's almost too fun watching them rot in here," Lucifer said with a sly grin on his face.
Jersey laughed "Let's just say I fell into a trap and speak no more of why I was gone." He kept listening and he chuckled "You can keep your job besides once my father let's go of his throne I'll have take so I'll have my hands full in the future." He heard about humans "Yes they do sin easily but there are those who help us and when they die they get the upmost comfort if that's possible here." He thought about his own armor "I smell an angel here!" Of course Lucifer knows that angel is a prisoner.
"Oh yeah. What was her name... Um... Sloan? Sloan sounds good, I never remember these names. Why is she here anyway? I felt so special when I was the only angel here," Lucifer asked as he flapped his wings a bit, having to stretch them out to make sure they didn't go stiff.
"Plus, when you get the throne, give me less responsibilities, take care of your own army. I'm far too lazy to order all these minor demons around," Lucifer said and let out a yawn as a small blue flame surrounded him, and whispered soft whispers in his ear before they disappeared. Lucifer stopped outside a giant door, as he opened it for Jersey.
"He's probably waiting for you, I did have a chat with Mr. A before we entered after all, probably not supposed to have used up all that time there," Lucifer said and closed the door after Jersey.
Jersey entered the doors and smelled his father and saw him on his throne, he flew in front of him and kneeled. His father looked at him and said "You may rise my son, we have many things to talk about." Jersey rose and looked at his father calm. They discussed certain thing then came the subject about the military "I am pleased to Have Lucifer leading our army very well but I think he must have the guidance of you Jersey so that we can destroy Heaven once and for all!" Jersey nodded and the conversation ended, he walked back to Lucifer "Looks like we'll be working together." He smiled as he went to the armory.
Lucifer was leaning against the wall, as he was waiting for Jersey. It took a while and Lucifer thought another 200 years would pass before they finished, but suddenly the door opened and Jersey walked out, with a smile around his mouth, or mouths on the other hand.
"Oh teamwork? Yes! I don't need this boring job alone!" Lucifer celebrated as he joined in on walking to the armory with Jersey, but the only weapon he needed was the sword made from Hell's flames that the Devil had forged especially for him when he decided to join Hell's side instead of the Heaven's.
When they arrived at the armory "Wait here until I come out okay?" And he went inside and got his new and improved armor on. It was obsidian black with red veins all over his armor. He normal claws were covered with clawed gauntlets that could rip the best type of armor that the angels wear apart. Jersey exited the armory "Before I left and got captured I had the blacksmith upgrade my armor and over the years it got better and he says it's rivals even my fathers armor too." He smiled as his power source was back in his hands
"Would you look at that, it suits you well," Lucifer said and smiled as he looked at the obsidian black armor and smiled. It was good to see his friend back into his powerful state, weak demons were only extra luggage.
"Well then, what's the plan?" Lucifer asked as he immediately gave Jersey the leader position, he was a power demon, but was far too lazy and irresponsible to be in charge, knowing of this he didn't want the position.
"Sure, but you're going the wrong way..." Lucifer said as he walked the other way where the new training grounds had been moved after the armory had been expanded, but that was 100 years ago, and Lucifer didn't recall how long Jersey's been away for and forgot to mention it to him. The training ground were filled with hard training demons and they all saluted Lucifer and Jersey as they walked past them, before quickly going back into sparring with one another.
"Well we moved my house closer to the base, and we got our own magical practice arena after we had a few accidents... Mainly me being behind a couple of those, but otherwise I think you're pretty safe. I'm sure I'll remember something later though," Lucifer answered as a couple of demons walked up to them.
"Lucifer! Can you spar with us?" They asked, excited that Lucifer was down at the training grounds as he rarely visited them in person. Most of the demons admired Lucifer for his strength and even though he had a carefree personality, when he fought he was one of the most graceful and elegant fighters in Hell.
"Go ahead Lucifer spar with them, they need the experience and it'll show me just how powerful you've gotten since I first met you." He said, jersey came down to the Training fields to help his men train and if gave them inspiration to train harder.
Lucifer let out a small sigh as Jersey had given his permission, he was never good at saying no when they asked him in person.
"Okay, who wants to go first?" Lucifer said and grabbed a wooden sword which was close by.
"I'll go," the smallest amongst the demons that had approached them said and grabbed a wooden staff.
He came charging towards Lucifer as he dodges to the side and tripped the boy's foot. Quickly up again, he tried to hit Lucifer, but missed again as Lucifer hit his staff away and pointed his sword at the boy's chin.
"Game over" Lucifer said and smiled as he appreciated the boy's effort.
"You leave yourself far too open. Being aggressive is fine, but defending yourself is important too," Lucifer advised and the boy nodded happily as he immediately began training more defensively.
Jersey nodded "When I was in command I always came down here and sparred with the men cause it boosts moral and improves them as a unit as well and then I'd tell them on what they need to improve, keep going Lucifer." Jersey told him
"Okay, next!" Lucifer said as a small line had gathered along with a crowd who had never seen Lucifer fight in person and they were not disappointed as his skills were clearly honed, and he had not been slacking off as a lot of other demons had said as Lucifer did seem to be the type to slack off when the chance was given to him.
"I'll go," A girl demon said as she got one of the bows and the quiver filled with paint, as it would show where the arrow would have landed.
Lucifer stretched his arm as he was still holding the wooden sword, and smiled as the girl began shooting arrows in his direction, the arrows were quick and direct, as Lucifer was forced to run and jump around. The girl shot several arrows towards Lucifer at the time, but Lucifer swiftly dodged them all. Lucifer did a quick flip and turn as he grabbed one of the arrows that the girl shot, and painted her head red.
"You're quick, but your guard is down. If you're a ranged user, you need to move more. You got feet, use them," Lucifer said as the girl nodded and smiled.
"Thank you for sparring with me, it was a real honor," The girl said and bowed.
"'Oh, and your aim. Aim more where you think I'll dodge next, try to trick your opponent. I could easily see where your arrows were going, it made it too easy for me to dodge," Lucifer added as the girl disappeared.
