Already done that damnit, spell failure.
Also, Magic Cow? How? Ive given it a more or less semi-reasonable acceptance of physics and limits on how small they can make their bodies so as they grow they have to find larger hosts and the like lest they die.

You cant even talk about magic cow bull considering your own creations defy physics even worse than mine own creatures of whom I actually did crunch numbers for. (Punching force was a bitch)
They don't defy physics because they follow the physics of another dimensions. :P

OH GOD NO WHAT HAVE I DONE. I CREATED A SOFT SCIFI SPECIES!!!

But they create damn interesting and fun characters tho!

Or... alternatively you can invent some crazy dimensional theory to explain the dredge thing , like what hard scifi does to things that cannot be explained with modern science, but are nonetheless necessary.
lol sounds like my Liiku. I can explain them if needed, no doubt the gm will want me to

Theres a lot more info on the Dredge backstory than whats right in that 8 page clusterfucky SCP thing I posted but are irrelevant as of right now.

That CS was more or less to let the GM and other characters know what a Average Dredge is capable of physically.

True, I probably should finish the updated one which has Class C abilities and psionic capabilities but I probably wont post it here since im not using any Class C though my char may have a few minor ones as is dedicated to Class B's such as tracking, or standard aura of confidence, domination which influences people slightly. *shrugs*

The Dredge themselves were created with some pretty epic and disturbing shit involved, coming out of one of the best rps ive ever had and will remember the clusterfuck which spawned them with much fondness. *nods sagely*

The Liiku were created in a pm for an extremely slow RP that is still going on.

ahh, humble beginnings

The Liiku he created were originally to kill off my Dredge because they scare the shit out of everyone. *grins happily*

Not exactly... I thought of that nut it would be too noobish. So instead I created a Dredge opposite to see what it would be like.

They cant kill all the Dredge, 99.99% of them left the universe and they have no government or nation

But they evolved beyond that to take on a life all their own aside from that so good things come from competition provided its the friendly sort.

yeah, it was firednlt.

You want unfriendly?

Meet the Egderd, that are parasites that infect dredge and take control. Only dredge. And they spread through contact and nothing can cure them.

No! They never were the bane of Dredge!!!! - maybe, well... Maybe the theory of them were...

But now they are unique and epic, way better than stupid Dredge! And cooler!

Ahh, Maybe Dravak x Dredge here? ;)

Keep yur dirty smelly dog paws away from my Beautiful Galumora! *whines*

Though another Dredge I err... Suppose so. *has an evil idea and grins maliciously* It could be a younger Nagashira. Bob, your ancestors had a few wild nights with her am I correct mr Fancy Cat Emperor or rome the THIRD.

Are you proposing Dravak hit it up with a Dredge in this RP?

That might be interesting, considering his history with Dredge

No idea honestly, i dont toy with Romance much, also lets move this to someplace else so we dont blow these guy's interest thread up with stupid crap. I mean we dont want this becoming another clusterfuck of almost 3,000 replies now do we like the last few? To the PM?

Don't worry guys, I've been much busier than anticipated, but I'll be uploading the new and improved info sheet tonight sometime, so get your engines warmed up, as things are probably gonna pick up quickly after that.

will you be accepting new players? I'm interested in joining, followed good old Jarky here

I will be, and @Bobisdead123, You'll be given a reserved spot, and for others who want to join it will be clarified how we will go about that as soon as the new info sheet is posted. I'm working on it right now, so it shouldn't take too much longer.

ok thank you!

I earnestly await your sheet!

Terminology:

High Council: Main leading authority of OIGA races and territories, with representatives from all races of OIGA

Swarm: Large, hive-mind unit of Devorantem

Domain of Steel: Large artificial planetoid in the galactic core, serves as the home of the OIGA. Was once home of the Precursors. Massive, about the size of Earth’s local star.

Galactic Fringe: Outer rim of Milky Way

Galactic Consumption: Devor’s end goal, consume all biomass in the Milky Way.

Locations:

Nexrith: Homeworld of the Dragx

Yuclite: Origin of L-Crystals

Tyrannus XI: Homeworld of the Drakon

Domain of Steel: Large artificial planetoid in the galactic core, serves as the home of the OIGA. Was once home of the Precursors. Massive, about the size of Earth’s local star.

Technology:

Hardlight Technology:

Divided into two categories, Rigid and Free-Form.

Rigid: Uses less energy, and projects from one or more source. Forms a rigid, non-flexible object with no weight. Disappears as soon as projection from source ends, and requires a receiver.

Free-Form: Mostly used as projectiles, this type of Hardlight is used for more varied purposes than Rigid Hardlight and requires more energy, meaning it is only really efficient on smaller scales, such as portable computers, Hardlight blades, or projectiles.

Ships:

Ships will be varied in function and design. I've come up with an idea for everybody's starter ship, however. Venture Industries's last model before going under, the Venture Horizon is a perfectly well rounded jump ship equipped with two crew quarters, an engine bay, and minimal weapons systems, which will be decided upon by the player to give some unique functionality even for starter ships. Need to consult you guys on more ship details.

Factions:

MegaCorps:

MegaCorps will be the main power houses out in galaxies untouched by governments, and a lot of the time be the ones behind things such as shady black ops assassinations. There is no good MegaCorp, at least, not usually. To get to that level of power almost all of them have done shady things, some just worse than others.

Omniverse Manufacturing: Omniverse, stepping away from the usual Corp approach, does a little bit of everything. Ships, weapons, munitions, megastores, you name it, and Omniverse has at least one.

Titan Corp: Titan Corp is a Ship-Centric corp, dominating the space ship industry, and also the reason Venture Industries went under, if the allegations of assassination are to be believed. If you want a new engine, need better navigational equipment, or have a desire to triple your ship's amount of armored plating, you go to them.

Ash Enterprises: Ash Enterprises is a weapons-centric corp, and possible owner of the cheesiest slogan with "All our weapons leave behind is ashes!" as their claim to intergalactic fame. They've got railguns, beam weapons, particle weapons, good 'ol slug throwers, and everything in between for your life-ending needs.

Galen Medical: The largest medical industry in the Milky Way, Galen medical has a major monopoly upon the medical industry and is notorious for eliminating the competition through any means necessary.

Traveler: Traveler has monopolized colonization with prefab structures and is often the first group on the site of a precursor ruin. They seem to have a vested interest In the ruins though no-one knows why.

Governments:

Ordered Intergalactic Government Alliance (OIGA): The OIGA, generally pronounced "oygah", is debatably the largest galactic superpower, centered around the Domain of Steel and the neighboring solar systems as an alliance of races.

M.E.R.C. (Mercenary Emirates Revolutionized Coalition)

Sometimes a government in conflict with OIGA and sometimes just a group of run of the mill mercs, M.E.R.C. is as unpredictable and volatile as the people that comprise it. They inhabit the galactic fringe.

Criminal Organizations:

The Raven Syndicate: The Raven Syndicate, led by the mysterious Galumora, is an information brokage group that works within the shadows. They are few spread and can be found in almost any corner of the galaxy. Their inner circle, known as the Third Eye, is the only group who communicates with their current leader, whomever they are. It is theorized that they have always been led by Galumora, though that should be impossible due to what her current age would be.

Credit: @Jarkov Malachai and @Yesman

Burn: Burn is a group of underground gangs working together to make money and stand against OIGA, though they are more of a nuisance than a threat. Their attacks are all guerrilla, as they cannot stand toe-to-toe with the galactic superpower. They also seem to be quite interested in neo-terrorism, however, and have committed many acts of it.

Species:

Humans:

Compared to most other races, humans are late to the intergalactic party, but most certainly not it's weakest contender. They are highly adaptable, and can be found almost anywhere, as representatives in governments or lowly gang members. They are also an OIGA race.

Precursors:

The Precursors are as elusive as they are fascinating, the only sign of their existence being ruins found all around the galaxy. They were a very advanced race, even more advanced than any races that exist now, and Hardlight technology was obtained from their ruins.

Devorantem (More commonly known as Devor):

The Devorantem appeared before humanity even broke the boundaries of their solar system, coming from the empty space between galaxies to assault our galactic fringe. Information gathered shows that they have a hive mind social structure, and while they can think and process problems on a highly intelligent level, they cannot be reasoned with. They only have one instinct- Devour. They do so by slowly killing off a planet's life forms and gathering biological material in order to continue growing their species. They do not reproduce as most species do, as while some hatch from eggs, others are assembled from the genetic material scavenged from their numerous conquests, allowing them to make perfect killing machines.

The Devor have their own 'technology', although it hardly qualifies as such because even their weapons are living in some way. They make use of plasma and energy based weaponry by using advanced chemical reactions within their weaponry. This does not, however, stop them from using easier methods of attack such as launching spikes, or attacking with talons and fangs.

The Devor's ships are even biological, using systems similar to that of their weaponry. They are akin to massive, floating ant or wasp hives.

Throughout history, the Devor have been an ever-present enemy, and according to the Precursor's ruin's, (a placeholder name for that ancient extinct alien civilization) The Devor have visited the Milky Way before, only leaving once they had exhausted it of all biological material. It is believed the Devor are what eradicated the Precursors.

The Devor communicate via a telepathic network.

The Devor are categorized into different 'swarms', such as the Eradicate Swarm or Corrupt Swarm.

Swarms are in essence separate 'Hives' of Devor, meaning that while they have the same end goal, and seem to have been one unified unit at the beginning of their assault, they have since splintered, and each swarm has it's own queen. It has been revealed by Precursor ruins that if a Swarm's queen is killed, the Swarm loses all cohesion and begins to slaughter itself in mindless fury.

The Sentient races of the galaxy only managed to eliminate one Swarm queen, and that was the Queen of Swarm Eradicate. This action managed to halt the initial assault of the Devor, and since then the sentient races of the Milky Way have been deadlocked with the Devor, no side ever really gaining ground.

The Dragx:

The Dragx hail from Nexrith as the alpha predator. They have evolved to be faster, stronger, and deadlier than that which already live in one of the most hostile and deadly planet in the system (I actually don't know how large this RP's universe is gonna be so expect changes). Social wise, the Dragx are very primitive with most Dragxes living in small tribes and only a few, around 1 out of every 20, Dragxes ever leaving the planet, let alone meeting another sentient (non-edible) species. The Dragx also do not possess any clothing, seeing the pieces of cloth as a hindrance to their movement. Because of this, the Dragxes are rightly viewed as primitive savages by most if not all of the other species.

Dragxes are natural hunters. Their bodies give off almost no scent and they are able to change their body temperature to match their environment. They are also very resistant to most poison and venom. Their reaction speed are unmatched and most of them are trained from a young age to be able to read subtle body movement to predict the actions of their preys.

Dragxes are too busy surviving to worry about laws, religion, or discovering anything new. The tribal leaders are chosen by the strongest in that tribe, regardless of gender. Any time a tribal leader is defeated in combat, the challenger becomes the new leader. That being said, sneakily attacking the tribal leader, or any Dragx for that matter, is seen as cowardly and weak and the attacker will be killed if caught.

Colonians:

A shapeshifter race. Colonians are a siphonophorae species, meaning specimens are made up of thousands of small organisms working together rather than one large individual. Each specimen works as an absolute democracy, where it's members can discuss and vote on decisions just as fast as other sentient species take theirs. The more members a colony has, the more intelligent and versatile it becomes. Naturally they appear like large slimes, but sufficiently old and intelligent ones can change shape into a form at least resembling that of other species. Only a very few are good enough to copy the exact appearance of an individual.

Culture

The total number of Colonians is difficult to estimate, as neither counts by colonies nor organisms properly reflect their society. The gist of the matter is that they only acknowledge colonies that have grown big enough to achieve sentience. And since each Colonian starts life as a single organism, that can take a while.

Colonian government is a strange mix of democracy and hierarchy, colonies love to vote amongs themselves about everything, just as they do internally, but larger colonies tend to get heavier votes to reflect their higher intelligence.

Intergalactic

For those that took up life among the stars, things are somewhat different. Usually only colonies old enough to take another species' shape opts for the life, as a slime is hard-pressed to operate technology and communicate with other species. Intergalactic Colonians tend to be more individualistic, in the sense that they start acting as a person instead of a consensus, mostly in response to interaction with singular organisms. They still love negotiation, and are extremely comfortable in politics and companies alike.

L-Crystals:

GTCS Archive Entry subsection YCL: Yuclite Crystallines (GTCS temporary designation YCL-X-276, commonly called "L-Crystals")

At first glance, the Yuclite Crystallines superficially resemble crystals extremely closely, and have been subsequently misidentified as such by an OIGA geological survey team while performing a mineral content survey on Yuclite. As it was standard procedure to study and class newly discovered minerals, it was not long before a laboratory assistant detected an abnormal weight increase of the sample, far beyond the normal growth expected. Upon further examination, it was discovered that the crystallines seem to be alive, as the sample was observed undergoing metabolism. At one point, the crystal responded to the researchers shining a bright light into it by spontaneously disappearing and reappearing nearby. When a second sample is brought close to the original, interaction in the form of light emission is thought to have occurred.

However, due to the esoteric nature of the organism, researchers are still unable to determine its status as a new species unequivocally. Debates in biology circles are ongoing, and the subject has garnered quite a bit of exposure in the media. As a result of the special status, the L-Crystal has become a very valuable commodity, and despite efforts of the local government to ban the export of L-Crystals, smugglers and black-market traders have managed to find methods to deliver these crystals into the hands of the rich. Owing to the fact that even the sentience or sapience of these crystals cannot be determined with current methods, the issue of illegal L-Crystal trading has been highly controversial.

Known Attributes:

*Higher growth rate than a *normal* crystal

*Metabolizes

*Mobile (Spontaneously Appearance, akin to short range teleportation; exact mechanism unknown)

*Responds to Stimuli

*infraspecies communication?

Sentience: Unable to be Determined

Organism Assessment

Dredge:

Name of Subject Species: Serai’Drahkoul

Scientific Name of Subject Species: Pending. . .

Common Name of Subject Species: The Dredge

Average Height: 9-12 Ft. Imperial / 3-4 M Metric

Average Weight: 650 – 1250 Lbs.

Average Color: Unable to determine, Data insufficient. . .

Average Life Span: Unable to determine, Data insufficient . . .

Average Physical Description (from Toe to head):

Please note that Physical Description differs Depending on Host

The Organism stands mainly on bipedal legs which are entirely animalistic in origin and in their function. Ending in four digit clawed serrated elongated paws which tear great furrows into the earth agitatedly with a single wicked back spur higher up on the foot which itself is peculiar sight. Reminiscent of High heels is the best description that can be given on how the Organism’s feet rest upon the ground with only the toes touching the dirt and the rest of the paw and leg raised off the earth. This gives the Organism the most intriguing way of walking, almost a regal sort of grace as it places one foot before the other such as the Queens, Kings and nobility do, with delicate precision, fluidity and graceif it may be said so.

The Thighs of the Organism are, from the specimens that have been able to be observed, overly large and without a doubt powerful, made for running down and killing fleeing prey.

(See Biological for more Info)

The Organism has a tail which is approximately 1.5X as long as the creatures over all height and entirely prehensile. Covered as well in that biological chitin which the rest of the creature has all over its body though this particular region of chitin seems to be able to lock together to function as a living broad sword or flare up and rotated on the defined Axis which is the tail like a meat grinder. The tail looks to help with the Organism with standing on two legs acting as a counter balance due to the biological form of its hind legs.

The upper torso is sleek and well defined, muscles bulge underneath the biological armor that angles outward and shows almost no visible breaks when the Organism is not moving… or eating.

Jutting out from the chest are four limbs/arms which from observations look entirely capable of being operated independently by the Organism unlike other species which could only use one pair on the same thing at once due to insufficient mental capacity. While these forearms are nowhere the size of the hind legs, there are two pairs of them and sufficiently muscled and easily capable of holding the Dredges weight and then some. These forearms end in six digit clawed hands which all fingers are shaped much like a simians save that two of the digits are on the other side of the palm and act similarly to thumbs yet not thumbs. The claws themselves are delicate enough for precision work but are strong and curved that anything caught in that grip would not be escaping without serious injuries.

The head itself however is the most terrifying, like a dragon out of legend almost, covered in that biological armored chitin, with wicked head spikes that angle backwards coming to a tapered point, combines that with the six burning jeweled faceted eyes that seem to see more than the normal spectrum give a fearsome appearance. The Spinal cord is reminiscent of that of an owls as the Organism is able to rotate its head in a complete almost 360 degrees before having to rotate the other way back to its normal positioning. The bottom jaw seems normal, save when the creature screams at you, it then splits apart down the middle to reveal a gaping maw which if need be to digest large prey that goes all the way down to the upper chest filled with hundreds of lovely thumb sized fangs. The Organism’s tongue can telescope to a distance of about two feet and is frayed with many small slender tentacles that pulsate and glow, reminiscent of a pine branch almost.

The entire Organism is covered in a thick, biological chitin which grows outward from specific points on the Subject Species body and can flare upwards from said points to reveal the soft, supple skin underneath which feels like the finest of leather and is highly sensitive to pressure changes. On this skin are certain patterns of bioluminescent chemicals which can light up and change colors in accordance with the Subjects mood.

It was once observed upon the meeting of two of these creatures that they froze, the biological armor flared up and made a sort of ripple effect which made our watchers and cameras lose sight of them momentarily though the Subjects moved not and began emitting a series of extremely fast light flashes before both dropped back a few feet and left the other alone.

(See Biological for more information regarding Subject)

Biological Assessment -

Movement capabilities -

The Organism’s known as the Dredge have perhaps one of the most amazing yet disturbing mobility mechanisms that have ever been documented. The video’s do not do it justice, this fluidity, this seemingly effortless grace. The creatures leg and foot structure force it to walk with a dainty pace, careful steps that even on all sixes like serpents or ghosts they seem to leave no trace of their existence or passing upon the earth that they tread upon. It is a well-oiled machine, there can be no doubt the biological marvel that is the Dredges Mobility system as you watch one of these seemingly large and graceful creatures run after a fleeing target and nearly 40 mph with that same grace. Their muscles flow almost too well together, too perfectly for any words to adequately describe.

The Organisms, though large, have sufficient agility to perform feats of maneuverability that should be impossible.

The Dredge species can fit into almost any hole or crack that they can get their head into. This can be a devastating psychological weapon when combined with the illusion/blur effect that the Organism’s biological chitin can put into effect as during a maze test, the control group armed with heavy weaponry had sealed off every door leading to their command post. Subject had been fired at and wounded early on and then had not been seen after being wounded save for brief moments before seemingly leaping off and vanishing.

Two hours into the test Control group was completely wiped out as Subject #37 entered the room via an air duct directly above the control group. Those that survived the initial shock were then beheaded or eaten.

The effect on those in charge of watching said test was substantial as they seemingly could not understand how Subject #37 was able to fit into such a small space and afterword’s showed substantial fear and even paranoia when around the Subject Organism and near air ducts.

Average Top Speed: 58 Mph

Average Jump Height (all six limbs on ground): Approximately 4X the Organisms full height.

Parasitic or Symbiotic –

Imagine this facilities surprise and horror when Subject #37, our only subject that has lasted more than 4 days in confinement, disappeared from its cell after a standard biological testing of blood, muscle structure etc. The entire complex went up in a uproar that it hasn’t seen since the incident of 15’. Everything was locked down and no one was allowed to leave until Subject Organism was found. #37 was found in one of the last places that was expected… On the skin of Dr. Alexandria Laskin, yes on her skin.

The entire Organism that is Subject #37, all near 750 pounds of it, transformed itself into a 2D creature or life form and had bonded parasitically to the surface of her skin like a full body Tattoo. This launched a full series of studies as Subject #37 refused to be removed from Dr. Alexandria Laskin (From then on to be termed Control #82) skin. Biological scans showed no life form on Control #82 surface area but it was detected that genome synthesis was going underway as well as explosion of growth akin to Mitosis and a transference of Sugars, acids and other basic building components from Control #82 to Subject #37.

Control #82 then began to report feelings of exhaustion and fatigue where upon soon after voicing these concerns quickly fell asleep in the containment chamber.

Approximately Eight hours later Subject #37 left Control #82’s skin and resumed usual activities completely ignoring Control #82 despite all previous life forms entering the room with the Subject Organism had been immediately attacked. In fact when security forces were sent in to fetch Control #82 they were attacked with all almost maniacal and frenzied series of blows by the Subject Organism #37. Seven of the twelve men sent in were either seriously wounded or killed before Subject #37 could be subdued and Control #82 safely removed from the containment chamber.

Control #82 reported feeling refreshed if a bit heavy afterword’s and no serious harm could be found physically or deep X-ray and bio scans. It was determined Control #82 was to be sent back in with Subject #37. When Control #82 was reintroduced to the Organism it showed no signs of interest and paid no mind other than a quick sniff and poke with a forelimb.

Over two more months of observation this sort of Phasing from Tattoo to fully fleshed life form happened many times, almost every day. Subject #37 then began showing alarmingly increasing signs of intelligence, even attempts of communicating as it began screaming harsh cries that seemed to be words at the doors when shut. Scans showed that increased cranial activity in the Organisms brain had almost tripled. The most startling sign of intelligence was another month after when Subject #37 stood when placed in a maze test and it simply stood there for nearly an hour at the entrance of the maze and then abrupt faced and used the passcode to unlock the sealed door and walked all the way back to its containment cell. No casualties or injuries thanks to a quick thinking staff member who sounded the containment breech alarm.

Conclusion: Due to the volatile Nature of Subject Organism’s alleged home world, Magnus 7, which the species were discovered upon, it is entirely possible that the Organisms species evolved this intriguing survival mechanism to adapt to their homewards volatile and unpredictable nature.

It seems that the Subject Species is capable of using this survival mechanism to take specific traits from the host species by converting into this 2D form and biologically synthesizing onto the host to commence genome splicing through and or just under the skin. It is still undetermined as to how this is done as Bio scans don’t pick up the Subject Organism when Phased onto the host but oddly enough the weight is still present as when Control #82 was going through examination and a weight reading of almost 900 Lbs. shocked researchers. However continuing on with genome splicing and the like, as case in point in this particular scenario, when Subject #37 Phased onto Control #82, it was able to enlarge its mental capabilities to an alarming rate which even surpassed the hosts. Further testing showed that Subject #37 was entirely capable with the right host to live in aqueous environments by Phasing onto a sea creature and then after 6 days Phased off having adapted a semi-functioning pair of gills. Subject #37 was not able to re-adapt on its own however to land based environments until another suitable Host species was given though it frequently asked for Control #82.

We now believe that the reason all other previous test subjects perished was because due to this very survival factor was the Organisms own damnation. Their genome structure is so unstable that if it is not re worked and grounded through the Phase (the term now used for the transformation from 2D to 3D) that it rapidly destabilizes and self-destructs as it mutates out of control then initializing the Fade (term used for when Subject Organism dies it Phases into 2D form and then Fades into nothing rendering autopsies and other forms of study useless).

The Subject Organism does not loose mass in this form, rather it is condensed and when this extra weight is put upon a host the Organism has adapted as well otherwise its sheer weight would crush most other Species. The Organism acts like an exo suit in the broadest of terms. While the Dredge is on the hosts skin synthesizing, the Host gains notable strength and speed as the Subject organism wishes its host to live and not die while it itself is on the hosts body recuperating.

Female variants-

/Sex is actually a choice more or less for the Subject Species, as they can change their own gender. It is believed that while they have no gender when born, any imbalances upon the local population is filled by conscious decision to fill in said gaps and keep the species overall strong. Female variants do have breasts on the chest, one pair which is half way covered from the bottom up by a series of reverse Chitin plates that form a natural support. However if this is trait is standard or an adaptation it is unknown as not all observed Females of Subject species were observed to have Breasts. Female Variants also as most members of the opposite sex do, larger hips, thighs and are all around more dangerous than their male counter parts as per the norm in Nature though the males are much sleeker and faster, but make no mistake that the average civilian cannot outrun one of the Subject Species.

Adaptability -

This institution now holds strong in the belief that the Subject Organism’s biological trait known as the Phase is responsible for the species large and diverse gene pool as well as the ability to adapt to almost any environment should a suitable host species be found. Due to the volatile nature of Magnus 7, the Subject Species alleged home world, such a thing would have been crucial survival as the constantly shifting landscape and weather patterns would have annihilated anything lesser of constitution.

Given the right host, they could adapt to almost any environment save the vacuum of space and even that some of those housed here at this facility are not even certain of that.

Physical Strength – (numbers still shifty, need to solidify them, find out total crushing force, walking distance, stamina etc. Piston maneuver also extremely important physical feature, to remind self in case of brain fail, Grizzly bear)

The Dredge are capable of lifting into the air above their head approximately 2X their own weight and throw it nearly 3X as far as they are long due to the way the Subject Organisms muscle structure and body works. The easiest way to explain it is that the Organism is more push than pull, more striking power with sheer brute force. For example, Subject #37 was purchased from an asteroid mining company and was at top peak physical condition at the time of his transference. The Company was smart enough to feed the Subject adequate amounts of nourishment in order to limit its other workers from being eaten. Subject #37 was used as a drill to literally punch away at the rock with its armored fists.

Subject #37 has recorded at its highest, a single punch with the force of almost 4,370 PSI. To put this into perspective, a single punch from Subject #37 is akin to being crushed by a 250 pound anvil dropped from 11 feet above you.

They are extremely capable creatures physically though mentally is as of yet unable to be determined due to… conflicting data points.

Intelligence- (note to self: Details, Dredge are able to enlarge their mental capacity by having intelligent hosts and expand and or broaden their horizons. Finish rough finalizations of how it works, put draft in here)

Armor capabilities- The Dredges natural chitin is a wonderous thing! Its hundreds of layers of small graphite chips all interwoven with biological nanotubes to add both stability and lessening the weight of said chitin while remaining its strength. (figure out how graphite layers interwoven with smaller graphite nanotubes in honeycomb shaped structure and their defensive capabilities. Numbers that are available are sketchy at best. If no solid information is found, continue with the whole toenail explanation… thing… I know what I mean)

Regeneration/healing capabilities – Dredge have normal healing factors alone, on their hosts they can regrow entire limbs except the head for obvious reasons much like a starfish can regrow limbs but they do not reproduce the same way as a starfish does by fragmentation.

Reproduction – Subject Organism has a high mortality rate not for the mother, but for the offspring as the female must remain on a host for almost 75% of the time while pregnant so that her children’s unstable genome does not self-destruct. However growing young is an extremely tiring process and exhausts both the Organisms and hosts recourses so the Female must have her mate and herself often hunting to fuel the offsprings development. Every second off the host is precious and dangerous as they might develop of mutating potentially dangerous mutations and die in the womb as is what happens most often to the young unborn Dredge. Gestation is about a full year, so that long period of time also greatly increases the risk of death to the unborn offspring but not much can be done about it.

The Mother herself undergoes basic preparations, hips widen, building up of body fat and the like.

However, some Dredge have mutations/adaptions that change the way they raise and give birth to young. It all depends on the host species and we have only seen one egg laying Dredge on a dessert environment. The Subject Organisms natural talents at stealth and secrecy have made it nigh but impossible to find out more sadly.

LifeSpan -

We have formulated a theory that since the Dredges genetic material is refreshed so to speak whenever it Phases onto a host and its genome code is constantly changing, that the Subject Organism is entirely capable of living forever as its cells can replicate eternally for their countdown timer, so to speak, will never hit zero on how many times they can replicate.

Growth –

There have been recorded sightings of truly monstrous Dredge out there amongst the stars, the largest being recorded the size of a medium sized hill (designated Class E). It is believed that because of the Organisms amazing digestive system, nothing is ever wasted and all is broken down from metal to bones, and meat. The Dredge never ever truly stop growing though the process slows down the Larger the Organism gets as it required more energy and food to supply such a massive creature. Intelligence and dexterity is also believed to be a limiting factor the larger a Dredge gets the more brain power is required to oversee the workings of such a body.

Most Dredge will never reach this size as there are a limited host species which can support a creature of that magnitude unless that those ancient creatures have found a way to live and or adapt to living without said host species… If so, it is in this scientists immediate recommendation they be terminated.

Drakon: (Dray-Kahn)

The Drakon are a reptilian, Saurian race who’s past reflects that of humanity’s in that it is covered in war and bloodshed. Warriors to the core, before reaching space level technology the Saurians had strict codes of honor, lived by the sword, and died by the sword. While societal progression has caused many individuals to lose such a mentality, there are also many who feel the same as their ancient ancestors.

The Drakon are an OIGA race, meaning that they have a place on the high council. Their homeworld, Tyrannus XI, is quite similar to earth aside from being almost three times it’s size. Due to higher levels of gravity, the Drakon are quite fit compared to most other species and in combat will often resort to physical attacks which are quite debilitating, as many Drakons are strong enough to shatter weak personal shields with one blow. The taller among their race generally reach about 8 feet.

Some Drakons are born with vestigial wings, some are born with no wings, and some are born with full functional wings making them capable of low-altitude flight. Many Drakons also possess flame breath, a genetic adaptation involving methane gasses from the stomach and spark pouches, which are incredibly complex glands.

It is believed that the Drakons may have visited earth in the past and spawned our legends of dragons due to their similarities.

The differences between males and females are to be expected: slighter frames, breasts, and reproductive organs.

Discussion:

Really only a couple things to mention here:

I added a lot of factions.

I added a glossary (it felt necessary at the time).

I added a new race, the Drakons.

I added the OIGA's headquarters.

And @Quarantinetimer, I had an idea- what if we make the L-Crystals the Pupal stage of the Precursors? As in, they’re crystallized genetic code and once the L-Crystals reach certain requirements the Precursors reach the adult stage of their life cycle? Just an idea.

@LeviathanL, would you mind if I made the Colonians an OIGA race?

I know there's almost no way I made it through that amount of info without any errors, so if anybody spots one just let me know.

While I'd much prefer to not spoil it for myself, I feel if I'm coming up with any sort of plot I'll need to know. Could you send me a PM with the info?
