Realistic or Modern The Dead among us

"Yeah...I'm fine." Phillip said quietly, looking down towards the floor. He didn't bother acknowledging anyone else, not even the two newcomers in the group. Little kids annoyed him and her father or whoever he was was of no interest to Phillip. "What're the plans for today?" He asked Sage, gloom still remaining on his face. Again, he only asked this for the sake of seeming to be interested, but he really wasn't.. he didn't care what happened today, or tomorrow, or the next day. It was always the same.
 
Kandy Walks hearing voices after a while and draws his two handed sword in his right hand that's thin, sharp, but twice as big as him and reaches down for his gun if necessary and yells "Hello, anyone¿?"
 
Sage still looked at Philip with worry. "I think we're just hanging around... unless you wanna go somewhere with me?" she said trying to smile and lighten the mood.
 
He looked up at Sage, and smiled a little. "Yeah, sure, that'd be nice. Where?" Maybe a little fresh air would help him get out of such a depressed state, he'd been locked up in there for quite some time and it wasn't proving to be good on his mind. "Be right back." He told her, returning to his room. He looked behind the door, and grabbed the sweater that he had hanging up on it. He slipped in on and walked back to Sage, "kinda chilly." he mumbled.
 
"We could go check out other houses for supplies." Sage offered. Philip headed upstairs and returned downstairs with his sweater. Sage already had a hoodie on, so she stood from her spot on the couch and walked outside into the cold air, with Philip close behind. "You sure you're fine?" she asked as she opened up the creaky metal gate. She looked around for the walker that had alarmed everyone earlier, it was only a few feet from where she stood, so she knifed it in the forhead as her and Philip continued to walk.
 
Kandy sliced two walkers in half and continued to look around for anyone still alive as he finishes his snickers bar and throws the wrapper in SUV colored red from blood

rain looked at James then chuckled at his blushing when Emi came up to him and asked HAiley how she liked the Barbie."hey MAckenzie do you want to play with Hailey and Emi with the Barbies you guys got."She said looking at her sister then back to Hailey.


"that is if she doesnt mind playing with you.And if her daddy doesn't mind her playing either."She said looking up at James smileing.
 
Caiden was in a hurry, his chest pounding together with the beating of his eyes that blurred so hard he hardly could see a thing. Then a sudden shout put him to a state where in he stopped and gripped his tied hands with the force he was charging in his steady feet. Everything suddenly went black. It was silence with the scorching of fire, but whoever this guy was, he did a good job getting the attention of Caiden.


Caiden gazed at the ends of his eye lids, trying to search for this man. While his head was tilted down, enough to cover his face. If the man ever rushed him, Caiden was ready for the kill even with his hands tied. A strong sweep from the feet was enough. Yet it stayed quiet, the grasses were waving calmly. And Caiden just stood there... waiting.
 
Whesley saw the man stop. He took this opportunity to run to him. As he got closer he noticed the worried expression on the man's face. "What's that?" He said panting heavily as he pointed torwards the smoke where the man had came from.

The man came back for him, Charlie honestly didnt expect that. Just as the man pulled him out of the car, it exploded, separating the two of them. Suddenly Charlie was on the ground, he saw the man running wildly away, then he noticed that the explosion had set alot of the surrounding trees on fire and it was spreading, Charlie pushed himself up and sprinted after the man. After a minute he caught up to the man who had stopped suddenly in a dead sunflower field, he noticed a- a boy? he couldnt be older then 10 standing in front of the man. The fire was roaring behind them, speeding towards them. "WE'VE GOTTA GO!" Charlie yelled pushing the man forward and grabbing the kid, picking him up as he sprinted away. ((figured Charlie could probably run faster then a kid lol))
 
Whesley was frightened by the actions of the new man. He was suddenly picked up and Whesley, unsure of what was happening, began to scream. He was almost positive these were more bandits. Hadn't he just escaped the last one? "NOT AGAIN!" He screamed as he punched the younger boys back hopelessly.
 
Charlie grunted as the boy punched him, he quickly set him down although the fire was right behind them "Im not a bad guy" He said quickly, he could feel the intense heat on his skin "Just run" He said running off, hoping the boy would follow him.
 
Whesley took one look behind him and decided to follow orders. The highway was crumbling and on fire. He also heard the unmistakable sounds of walkers groaning, except he heard this everywhere. Not just behind him. "Walkers!" He screamed as he ran beside the Men
 
Kandy put his sword back into his pouch and shrugged "hmm guess I'm hearing things... Wouldn't surprise me, im probably the last living human alive anyways"
 
James looked at Hailey and said, "You want to play with Mackenzie?"


Hailey nodded her head, and wiggled around. James put her on the floor, and helped her steady herself.
 
Kandy sneaks hearing voices with his desert eagle drawn and jumps out on top of a rock and points it at James "wait y'all aren't ..." Puts his gun away and shifts his sword so it wouldn't drag on the ground

As the three of them ran back onto the highway with the fire blowing up cars behind them, Charlie noticed that Walkers were moving onto the highway from almost every direction, luckily the firestorm behind them did kill some. Charlie pulled out his machete from it's sheath as they continued running up the highway, He hacked at two Zombies, hitting one just before it grabbed onto the young boy.

Kandy took out a candy bar out his pocket and tossed it to James "Here you'll need it more than I will" looks around for any walkers "say you don't have a weapon on you do ya¿?"
