Fandom The Dawn Brigade, Equestria's Fall (EF)

Taffy goes quiet as he lets the masseuses finish their work, letting his body relax as he tries to think of a way out. She's an assassin so there's little to no chance I can beat her in hoof to hoof and no way I can get a shot off in here. Think Taff think!

Heaven chuckled again, a soft smile on her face. "Tell me Mr. Taffy." She said, turning to look directly at him. "You spoke of doing what has to be done." She said, the smile slowly fading away. "That was your answer to my inquiry in to the rumor of ponies in your profession going beyond the law, such as into illegal methods." She continued, her tone growing more serious with each passing moment. "I want you to elaborate. You spoke as if you yourself had done so."

"Well I wouldn't want to disturb a lady like yourself." Taffy says as he slides off the table, the pair of masseuses slipping out the door. "And obliviously any missions I would have allegedly breached any laws on would be highly classified."

Heaven shook her head, sighing. "I am a confidant of Celestia herself." she said, getting off her table, the soft smile returning. "I believe I mentioned this before." She continued, chuckling softly. "The very fact that you would imply that your actions would be classified above that, tells me that there is something you do not want me to know." She sighed, watching him. "It wouldn't happen to be mob connections would it? Because that would be a bit to close to treason for my taste."

A chill runs down Taffy's spine as he begins to slip back into his gear. "The mob? That's very specific." He states, rolling the words over his tongue as if he were weighing each. "I'm not overly sure how one would equate that with treason though, corruption certainly but treason is a bit much."

Heaven shook her head, sighing. "They are one and the same in my mind." She said, the smile again fading away. "It was corruption that ended the old kingdom which of course ended with the war between the three races. Corruption ends nations as easily as treason can, if not more so."

"Really? I thought it was racism that ended the old tribes." Taffy says as he makes his way to the door. Pleasepleaseplease

"Racism yes," Heaven said, nodding. "But that racism spread due to the corruption of the so called higher classes. The rampant Corruption of both Unicorns and Pegasus, especially that of the unicorns, caused tension between the races, which in turn turned into the racism we attribute to the start of the war." She said, turning to look at him, blocking the door. "Now then, answer my question."

"If you really are a confidant of the Princess then you know full well who to ask for about classified files. And if you really are in such a position of...influence, then would know I would never speak of such matters in A) An unsecured room, B)To a stranger I just met with no immediate way of verifying her identity, and C)..." He says leaning close.

Heaven sighed, shaking her head. "There is no need for you to lean in as if you were to tell me a deep dark secret Taffy." She said, standing there in front of him. "We both know you recognized my name right away and have been thinking the entire time in a way to get out of the situation you find yourself in." She continued, the soft smile taking a more sadistic and sinister shape. "And we both know that because of this fact, that any attempt to hide information from me could be... disastrous to you." She continued, still smiling. "In fact, I am only showing interest in you because you came into possession of some sensitive information. And my employer tasked me to find out any information on you, to prevent you from using the information you have." She chuckled, shaking her head. "Though yes, subterfuge is the main stay of my family, I quickly grow tired of it. So let us make a deal, you never speak of what you learned, and I don't put in word on you that would make even Fluttershy hate you." (yes, obviously she doesn't know Fluttershy... but that's not the point now is it?)

"Greenwall." Taffy says without blinking. "Huh, didn't take her for the kind to cavort with assassins." He notes, slowly backing away. "Good to know that you're not from the mob then, I'm sure they're going to be pissed at me."

On the other hand now I'm worried just how deep Greenwall's rabbit hole goes, damn you Blue I owe you but this is just starting to get ridiculous.

"Though about that information I'm sorry to say but you're wasting your time."

"Indeed they probably will be." Heaven chuckled, shaking her head. "Though now I am curious." Heaven said, the soft smile returning. "As much as I want to continue to drill you to get what I need for Greenwall, I am more curious into what information you would have to have stumbled upon that would make Greenwall not only trail you herself, but to request my assistance." She continued, sitting down in front of the door. "And on how you came upon this info, tell me and I will leave you be. For now." She said, watching him.

He simply shrugs back at her. "I don't know what you'd do with the information and I made a promise to keep her out of trouble to the best of my ability." He replies. "So short answer, your wasting your time."

"Is that so?" Heaven asked, nodding. "Then in that case, I have no reason to be here don't I." She chuckled, smiling softly still. "Take care Taffy, but be warned, if I get any hint of info that you are up to no good again, I won't be as lenient as this time."

Heaven chuckled, shaking her head. "I am not a brute, as much as you'd like to think so." She said, nodding. "As I said, subterfuge is my family's main modus operandi, not brute strength."

"Right," Taffy says, raising an eyebrow as he goes for the door. "And your just going to let me waltz out of here with out getting what you came for?"

Heaven chuckled, shaking her head. "I got exactly what I came for Mr. Taffy." She said, chuckling as she moved to leave the spa. "Trust me though, I'm the last person you want to cross."

Heaven chuckled, shaking her head. "I am curious as to why you would say that." She said, smiling softly. "But not enough to find out. You haven't intrigued me enough."

(How the hell should I know? You act like I'm the one who makes the story or something)(} :) )

Dim walks into the medical bay "All members of the squad are required for imediate briefing!". After yelling out Dim walks out briskly before once again shouting "Meet in the helmsroom!"

Blue's ears twitch slightly, indicating his acknowledgement as he pats the bedside of the comatose stallion. "See ya kid, duty calls. Best of luck." He says quietly, looking over at Sky.
