Conner was at his desk doing his usual thing at his work of establishment when he was called into his Boss's office. He left his desk and approached his boss's office. As he turned the knob on the door, he peaked in and said professionally " You needed to see me sure."


Mr. Alvin Marcus at his looking over his journal, replied " Aah, Yeah. Come in." He closed his journal as Conner entered the room.


" What did you need sure."


"Well, It is simple. I would like you to escort my daughter for a few day, all expenses paid."


" Really, Why sir?"


" Well, My daughter is going on a trip, but I don't if she is going keep a good image on her trip."


"So, You need me to keep her in check."


"Exactly" Mr. Marcus stood up and walked up to Conner with his hand held out. " Can I trust you to keep her safe, Mr. Daniels?"


" Uh, Sure. " Conner shook his hand which sealed the deal with his boss.

Neatly folds a sweater and places in in a bag by the foot of her bed. Recieves a text from her friend Alexis


Alexis's Text: Your dads making you go with a chaperon?


Response: Mhmm. But as long as I can give him the slip I might have some fun...


Finishes packing the bag and zips it up. Adelaide promptly checked her makeup in her phone reflection.

" Now, I need you to come to over my house today at 7:00 with all your bags packed. Understood?" Mr. Marcus said as he sat back down.


"Understood." Conner said as he left the room.


~Time Skip~


Conner drove to the address give to him by his boss. His bags were pack and was on time just like his boss said. He pulled up in the gated community then pulled into the driveway of Alvin Marcus. After stopping the car he went to the door of the home and knocked on it. A butler answered it and escorted him to the living room where Alvin was smoking a cigar. " Aah Good. You are on time." said Alvin Marcus.


"Mmhm. Of course." Conner said with a smile.


"Hold on for one moment." Alvin called for his daughter to come down from her room.

Adelaides father call for her and she walks downstairs tucking her phone into her jean pocket. Walks into the living room and sees Conner. "Glad you found someone father, you were having a tough time picking which of your trusted employees to join me" Smiles and takes a seat on the couch=

"Conner this is my loving daughter, Adelaide." Mr. Marcus said. " Sweaty, this Mr. Conner Daniels. "


"Hello Miss" Conner said nicely with a small smile.

Smiles towards him. Might as well get off on the right foot so that he lowers his guard. Then maybe I can sneak off...


"Nice to meet you Mr. Daniels, I hope this excursion isn't disrupting your busy schedule."

"Not at all Miss.It is a honor helping your father." Conner said before checking his watch. "Well, I think it's best we should get going to the airport."


"Hmm?" Mr.Marcus said as he checked his watch as well. " Yeah, you're right. Y'all better get going. "

Nods slightly and sends the butler up to fetch her bags. Stands up and brushes off her blouse. "Lets get this show on the road then shall we!"

Conner shook Mr. Marcus's hand before leaving the house and opening his trunk. He then proceeded to wait outside for Miss Adelaide outside.

Hugs her father briefly and walks outside, followed by the butler holding her bag. The butler places the bag in the trunk. Adelaide smiles at Conner and leans against his car. "So tell me... this isn't how you wanted to spend your time is it..."

Conner closed the trunk and opened the driver side of his car. " No, Not really But, it's a good way to get a raise." He got into the car and opened the passenger side from the inside.

Laughs a little and opens the passenger side door. "It certainly is. I just hope I don't get you fired...."

"Hmm.. Now Why would do that?" Conner pulled out the driveway and headed towards the airport.

Smiles lightly "I have a tendency to get into trouble.."

"Hmm Well then. I might have to fix that if I want to keep my job."

Smirks and clicks her seatbelt into place "Good luck!" she says airily

~Time Skip~


After meeting up with Adelaide friends, they embark on the plane ride to a Caribbean island.

Leans back in my seat ignoring Conners presence. Happily chats with my friends

Conner had headphones on as he was on the flight. After awhile he pulled out his phone to check his messages then, play some app game.

Stares out the window looking at the fluffy clouds, then after ahwhile, pulls out my book.

Three hours later the plane landed on the island.


Conner took off his headphones and took out the luggage from the compartments. He left the the plane, then waited for Adelaide and her friends

Laughs with her friends and walks off the plane holding mher carry on. Smiles at Conner, slinging the bag over her shoulder

Conner looked at her friends then at Adelaide. " Well lets head out to the hotel" He walked outside the airport and noticed they had a limo waiting for them. "Yep this isn't the lifestyle I'm use to."
