  • Nothing is really required. Im not stingy like that, but the more detailed and filled out stuff is, the more we get from your character :). So it is recommended to fully fill it out.
  • The DW has been a roleplay, I created, a long time ago, I rped it for a long time, and it has a LOT of history, regarding it. But, I'm remaking it here, hoping to give it new life with new people! ^^
  • Any rpers want to have their characters cemented in the history of Dark World? Want them to be central to any plots or pasts of our current characters? Feel free to ask, and I'll try to help come up with history involving them!

Name: Vira (Escaflowne)

Abnormal? If so Power: "Danger Close". Vira's abnormality comes in the form of a 'sixth sense'. A heightened sense in the back of her mind that tells her when danger approaches. It grants her reflexes to avoid things that one normally wouldn't be able to avoid. Sometimes it is strong enough to even show Vira the danger in her own mind, even if she can't actually see it. It also has progressed to this point in her life, where it helps her avoid any 'danger' at all. Starvation -it helps her locate food, losing her way that could potentially lead to her injury or worse -it helps map a safe course for her, etc. Anything dangerous at all, Vira's power senses it, but it does often leave Vira to decide for herself what the dangers it senses are like or just how threatening they can be (unless they are very threatening, at which point Vira will be harshly warned). Just how pressing they are, or just how 'dangerous' they are. In this sense, Vira uses her own common sense in tandem with her power.

Personality:
Vira is a tough girl, who takes no crap from anyone. She isn't afraid to lash out and speak her mind. Vira is a very headstrong girl who does what she wants. She has a very tough exterior and very rarely shows any sign of compassion, empathy or love. She considers all of those to be weakness and gets angry when anyone shows any of them. This isn't to say she doesn't feel anything besides anger and fury, she just never shows it. She doesn't -no- can't talk about herself due to her terrible trust issues. However, she does have a strong sense of duty and an interest in justice.

Weaknesses (Must have at least 1): Pretty frail, can't really take more than a few hits. Drinking. She doesn't trust others well.

History:
Vira and her sister, Ellie, 'worked' in a gang called the Devil and His Demons. (They were apart of it from a very young age.) Together they were the leader's right (and left) hands, indicated by the tats on each of their backs. Meaning they were quite close to the leader, standing beside the "Devil" (his name in the gang) at his literal right and left hands. They might've been little girls, but the gang respected them, since he made it apparent they were special to him; he seemed to care for them, but... Ellie seemed to believe he was just manipulating the two young girls. Which he trained hard, to be assassins for him. Vira, in specific, would do various undesirable, dirty jobs for the Devil, where he soon began to favor the dark-haired girl.

However, soon the two sisters began to question his and their own actions. It was Vira's specialty to get in and kill under his orders, earning her the nickname 'The Snake', or 'The Fang', for her ability to strike quick and make it deadly. Shortly thereafter, Ellie perished in a uncontrollable fire on one of their missions. Vira was thoroughly devastated at the loss of the only person she truly loved. After which, she left the gang, recalling some of Ellie's speculations, questioning their leader, and of their own positions within the gang. To respect her sister's wishes to leave, Vira did just that, thinking it was best in the end. Since she was the leader's right hand she wasn't pursued initially. Now Vira is out living a lonesome life, doing freelance work as a mercenary for hire.

Appearance: Hidden's appearance is quite hard to discern, due to the dark cloak she wears that covers 90% of her from head to toe. This cloak seems to shimmer and reflect the surroundings around her, making her sort of hard to focus on; at times, she seems to disappear into her surroundings. What is noticeable, is that she is a slender woman, youthful, of medium height. She has long silver hair that peaks out from her hood down her front. It is so beautiful and so silver, that it often reflects the area around her, glimmering colors that don't necessarily display its silver coloring. She is pale, and most assume she is quite attractive, for she has a pleasing appearance, on the rare occasion she reveals her face.

Seems to have some connections to 'The One' Abnorm gang. (Though apparently has recently cut ties with them.)

Personality:
A young woman with a silver tongue, Hidden acts extremely casually around basically everyone. Don't let that fool you, she is highly intelligent (or appears to be), which allows her her glorious glib, and smooth wit. She talks with a polite lilt that encourages people to trust her. Although, her generally friendly demeanor can lead people to the opposite conclusion. She may act trustworthy, but it is her mystery and intrigue that makes people reluctant to put any sort of faith in her. In addition, her peculiar overconfidence can be quite unnerving for her targets. Most people are 'targets' in her eyes, thus Hidden's true nature -underneath the hood- comes into question by smarter folk. Regardless, Hidden is such a master of 'the deal', that even in the face of people's distrust, she tends to get her way; often convincing people to back down, or accept her 'deals'.

Likes (at least 3): A good deal. Displaying her wit and confidence. ?
Dislikes (at least 3): She doesn't seem to like when people deny her a deal. Or when they seem to show signs of a lack of logic. It can be assumed that she dislikes when people are dishonest with her.
Strengths (Any): Hidden seems to have a silver tongue, making her a prime candidate to make deals, to find out information, and to get people to do what she wants them to do. She seems to be a fair bit more intelligent than those she most often interacts with. She has a very soft presence, allowing her to 'phase' in and out around people. Yet she has a strong, self-assured personality, that makes people struggle to deny her what she says and/or wants. She seems to be highly manipulative.

Abnormal? If so Power: Fist of the Starry Sky. Jackson's Abnormal is a close range power which focuses on brute strength and combat as opposed to another abnormal. His abnormal has stages to it as he uses it continuously. Stage 1 is his normal usage of Fist of the Starry Sky. Stage 2: He gains increased power, his punches hit harder, he takes more hits, and gains increased reflexes. This change is noted when his veins glow crimson red. Stage 3 is his final stage of his abnormal, and it is used when a fight is about to end, his fists and feet become bathed in a white light.

Personality: Jackson's a serious, yet laid back individual who will attempt diplomacy at first to ease an argument. Most of the time he's a outgoing person, but on occasion he is a quiet man. However, if he sees something wrong and can act without any consequence, he will.

History:

Jackson was born to Amanda and Raymond Pyle after WW3 in the confines of a WG city. Growing up Jackson had the perks of being a son of WG citizens, a quality education, security and loving parents. However, this was to change as when Jackson turned 10, his abnormal manifested, luckily at their family's state assigned home. Amanda was a scientist who helped develop the American counter to the Godhand super weapon and Roger was a down and dirty army captain. An argument got heated which caused Jackson to punch a dent in the floor, which was made of solid steel, shocking both his parents. Originally, Jackson was deemed a pure human as nothing had come up to suggest he was an abnormal. This revelation meant that it had been a latent power and the WG had no idea that their son was an abnormal. Despite the routine turning in of Abnormals, they loved their son too much and instead decided to hone and train his abilities, with his mothers' smarts and his father's combat expertise. Hopefully they could build a case to let the WG overlook this allowing him to serve as a fighting force. His mother coined the abnormal's name given the situation that Jackson was in. Jackson trained both his mind and body as well as simple knife fighting when he needed to keep his abnormal power hidden. Eventually, he was able to control and conceal it. When he was 19, during a class break in his state sanctioned upper class break. A classmate began to pick on him and tease him. Jackson simply ignored him, that is until the human tormentor swung at him. Jackson punched the tormentor caving in their chest and silence soon followed. Knowing that he had likely killed someone, he had to run. Jackson ran to his home and explained the situation to his parents. They cried and understood that for in order for him to survive, he had to flee the city. His father gave him his old pre war military uniform and a durasteel knife to defend himself. After saying goodbye, he fled the city and escaped. Currently 24 years old, Jackson did a stint in some guilds to earn supplies as well as gain a base of operations. However, there is still some hope that he has that he might be able to see his parents again, however unlikely.

Abnormal? If so Power: A Taste of Immortality- Ryuji's power is an accelerated healing factor that enables him to heal from major wounds in a matter of seconds. Severe and sometimes even wounds considered fatal to most can heal, though they usually take a great deal of time and rest on Ryuji's part.

Previous affiliations - any present DW affiliations for your character?: Currently an assassin within the Forever Army, but often disappears for "personal reasons".

Personality: Incredibly laid back and lazy are the two most common terms used within the Forever Army to describe Ryuji. He laughs, jokes, and honestly doesn't seem fazed by the fact that the world has ended. So long as he can eat, drink, and sleep around, he's content to live his life. However, those OUTSIDE the Forever Army describe Ryuji as a nightmare. A terrifying fox demon born to kill humans that dare speak out against Jeauyus, Anjika or Elusa. Eyes brimmed with hatred and blood lust, he is an S class abnorm that should be avoided at all costs.

Strengths (Any): A nimble fighter that knows the pressure points on the human body like the back of his hand. And is familiar with a variety of venoms, poisons and toxins.
Weaknesses (Must have at least 1): Is still vulnerable to poisons, is overconfident due to his ability, can still die from instantaneous killing blows, Ryuji still bleeds during the recovery time and can pass out from blood loss. He also doesn't know when to stop flirting.


History: Born an average human in what was formerly known as Tokyo, Ryuji was once an earnest kid trying to make a living helping out everyone in his community. He was most known for his carefree attitude and glowing smile. Despite the life of a scrounger, Ryuji seemed relatively happy to explore the city and rummage through the wastes to find parts and help people survive.

During his early teens, Ryuji came back from a trip deep within the heart of Tokyo. He seemed different to everyone that had known him. His laid back style still remained, but his smile always seemed hollow, afraid even. When the Forever Army came into the village, they soon figured out why. Ryuji tried to protect his home and in the process got a cut on his face that healed nearly instantly. The Forever Army saw his potential while his community looked at him with fear. With nowhere else to turn, Ryuji joined the Forever Army.

While in the army, Ryuji learned that his easy going attitude led to an adaptive mindset, constantly changing his plan to fit the new situation. It was this that had his commanding officers have him relocated to train with the small assassin division of the Army. Ryuji found himself right at home here. The endurance and interrogation survival training were naturally easier for him with his ability. This enabled him to improve his healing to the point that broken bones would heal within a couple of minutes. The other trainings were far more difficult. Fighting was the hardest thing for Ryuji to learn as his lacking weight made it difficult for him to overpower someone. Fortunately one of the older assassins was willing to teach Ryuji the art of pressure point manipulation. It was this that made Ryuji a capable killer and assassin.

All the while, Ryuji learned of the hatred towards Abnorms and how the humans called them devil children. It made him remember the look of fear on his community's face when they saw his ability and instilled his own hatred within him. He had still been himself, so why did they fear him? Ultimately, the anger became a party of Ryuji's tactics. He soon helped to continue the conquest of New-Asia and spread the rumors about an assassin that hunts and kills enemies of the King of All while wearing a mask stained red with the blood of his victims. Or at least, that's what the rumors say.

With the power of the Forever Army growing and King of All's dream of bringing the world under one banner growing closer, Ryuji has been sent to New-America to cause as much of a disruption with the World Government as physically possible. It's his first major assignment and although he's ready to put these heartless monsters to rest, he also wants to observe this world and see what life is like for a land ruled by humans. So he wanders, taking everything in while plotting how to start the inevitable fall of the WG.

Previous affiliations - any present DW affiliations for your character?: Daughter of the Leader of "The Devil's Rejects" a gang known for attacking Bounty Hunters and disrupting their operations.

Personality: Rose Valencia runs at two extremes and never goes between them. When she has her glasses on and her power can't be used, Rose is a very energetic and bubbly person. She's all smiles, laughing and acting as if this world were paradise. She's her father's little princess and the respected daughter of the boss for the gang. However, when she removes her glasses and she can use Medusa's Gaze, Rose is just as ruthless as her old man. She is blunt and hates being looked down on because of her small stature. She has a sadistic tendency and often is quick to violence.

Strengths (Any): Skilled in the art of torture and deception, Rose has often blended into normal society perfectly fine to find her target, paralyze them and then proceed to cut them into ribbons to get the information she wants.
Weaknesses (Must have at least 1): Rose's diminutive size also leaves her generally physically weak. If not for her ability she could easily be overpowered by someone larger than her. She is also very sporadic and impulsive, often just doing what she wants without thinking of the consequences.


History: Rose Valencia was born the daughter of Marco "Big Boss" Valenica and Noire "The Madame" Valencia. They were the heads of the mafia style gang known as "The Devil's Rejects." The name was given to the gang for their clean and virtuous way they ran things. Rather than just randomly attacking people they were organized crime and had a sense of honor. Thus why they called themselves rejects.

Rose was the boss' daughter and was expected to have either her mother of father's abnorm ability. When she was young, Rose's power was incredibly weak and many believed she was a human. This caused both of her parents to fear for her life within the gang, but they believed that there was something special about her because of the odd sensation of nausea that everyone had when making eye contact with her. "Big Boss" decided that even is she never developed her ability she would become a respectable leader within the gang and taught her how to run things and worst of all, how to interrogate rats and traitors.

Despite the training though, both Marco and Noire raised their daughter to be a normal girl. They wanted her to be carefree and jovial at most times. Though obviously they had to keep her safe from other gangs. Thus, the young Rose grew up sheltered from the world, but still with enough freedom to build her sense of wonder and adventure.

During a special session with her father, Rose's power started to develop further. It turned out that her father's right hand man was currently being questioned under the belief that he had turned in some of the gang to the WG to make a quick buck. Neither Marco, nor Noire could get him to crack. Rose, at the age of only twelve, decided she'd "take a stab" at Vincent. When she walked in, she felt her frustration towards someone betraying her father and locked eyes with Vincent from the moment he entered. And it seemed that Vincent wasn't comfortable anymore.

Rose pulled out a bowie knife that her father had given her and set it on the table, still locking eye contact with him. "So Vinny, you say that you don't know anything about our missing family huh?" She cooed to him as she spun the blade about on the table. Vinny merely nodded as she took a grip on the handle. "Are you sure that's the case?" Rose grabbed hold of Vinny's wrist and he jerked his arm back. "Oh? Vinny, are you scared? If you didn't do anything wrong, then there's no need to be afraid of me right?" She smiled her usual girlish charm that Vincent normally couldn't resist, but it seemed to upset him.

"Look, if Big Boss or The Madame aren't here, I've got some stuff to take care of within the family." When he pushed himself to his feet, Vincent suddenly collapsed on the floor. Rose looked a bit surprised but was happy to take the opportunity. She quickly ran over and plunged the Bowie knife into his hand, cementing his position on the floor.

"Now Vinny, you seem to be incredibly nervous. Is something the matter?" She giggled a bit as she twisted the blade into his hand, further opening the hole in him while allowing blood to flow across the floor and onto the man's clothing. "Look me in the eyes Vinny. Tell me the truth, did you or did you not turn in your family to the WG? And if you didn't, you know who did so tell me their name." Rose pulled out a switchblade from the boots she wore and ran the flat of the blade against his cheek.

"What did you do to my legs?!" He cried out as he reached for the bowie knife, which Rose stomped on to bury the blade further. "Fuck!" He screeched in pain as he turned back to the little devil before him. "Look, I told you, I don't know nothin." He took a gulp as he saw the gleam in her eyes.

"You don't know nothin." Rose chuckled to herself as she quickly tore into Vinny's cheek with the blade. His smile now just a few inches longer on one side. "Vinny, do you know what a double negative is?" She grinned as he seemed confused. One of the things she'd learned from her mom was how to speak properly, part of the reason the gang called her "The Madame." "It's when you use two negative words like don't and nothing to equal a positive. So what you just admitted was that you know something. So who the fuck betrayed our family?!" She cried out with hatred as she pressed the switchblade against his throat, the small blade causing a trickle of blood to run along his neck. Vinny looked up at Rose with fear. The Young Miss never cussed to the family unless she was stressed, afraid, or in this case absolutely furious.

"It was your cousin." Vinny sighed as he ratted out the kid. "He tipped off the LBH (league of bounty hunters) in exchange for protection and money. I watched him make the deal, but I was caught. In exchange for my own safety I said nothing. I'm sorry for betraying the family's trust." Breaking eye contact with Vinny, Rose stepped to leave. "Wait, Young Miss." Vinny cried out before looking down. "You have a remarkable power Rose. I'm sure that your cousin wouldn't have betrayed us if he'd known that a capable abnorm would be leading us someday." With that Vinny sat there, waiting for his fate.

As she stepped out of the interrogation room, both Marco and Noire looked at their daughter with surprise. She had gotten the information from Vinny and discovered her power in one go. However, it seemed that Rose wasn't as thrilled. She had assumed that she couldn't lead the gang anymore. After all, nobody could make eye contact with her. Luckily, her father had connections and had a pair of glasses made for her. He believed that her power was similar to a myth that he'd found in an old book of a woman with snake hair and the power to petrify people that looked into her eyes.

Marco was right and Rose's power didn't work if she had glasses blocking her line of sight. Now the girl had no obstacles in her path. After all, she had already had her cousin found and "taken care" of. Her unique style of interrogation improving over the year it took to find him. She has since spent her life hunting down the bounty hunters that captured her family and getting as much information on the WG as she could. She wanted answers on who was in charge and what they looked like, because they had foolishly messed with the family, and NOBODY messed with "The Devil's Rejects."

Concrete Affinity: When used, Floyd's body becomes entirely made of high performance concrete (Look it up, its a thing) and can manipulate any concrete or other stones (To a lesser degree) in the vicinity to his will. His body, when changed, will also gain the density, mass, and toughness of high performance concrete. If a piece of him is broken off, the pieces will reform the broken part of his body. The more he uses this, the faster he gets wore out, and the lesser he can use the ability.

Strengths (Any): Floyd's physical toughness and endurance is greater than most others. Due to his size, the man needs to eat a lot as well, so he managed to learn how to cook for himself and others if they so desired.
Weaknesses (Must have at least 1): Water. The man cannot swim while in his concrete form, and he was already a weak swimmer to begin with.

Radar is a relatable term. Ashelynn can set up a domain within a 1.6km radius that allows her to perceive the area, and it's inhabitants continuously for five minutes. This means that her mind itself can serve much like a satellite, keeping track of movements within her domain. This includes tracking through walls, and water. Add to it that she has photographic memory, and you have a permanent map (Though it doesn't get updated until another 'ping' is generated in the area.) *More in Additional Information*


Appearance: Ashelynn is a petite individual, one that proves to be extremely frail and bruises quite easily. Her skin is almost porcelain, thanks to both her Asian decent and the fact that she doesn't get out of the house much. To most, she looks a bit younger than her age, probably due to her short stature. It's also worth noting that her hair is rather thick (As opposed to the picture).

Personality:
A mysterious individual, to say the least. It's obvious that she tries to get along with everyone, it's just, she seems to never hold emotion towards others. *It's like people themselves don't really interest her, just the things that they know. Hell, compliments and insults alike don't even seem to register. It's as if she is simply part of another world. Sure, she freely distributes the information she has gained to those that do the same, and she has even holds the capacity to provide guidance to those that are lost. But there is always this shaky feeling that those around her are simply objects of observation. This is probably thanks to her monotonous nature that only lifts whenever she gets excited by new information.

But at the same time, she enjoys studying every mannerism of each unique individual. New things are exciting, but there is comfort to be had in information that steadily repeats itself. Much like a mild twitch of the finger when one is nervous. In the end, whose to say she isn't just an inquisitive, curious girl.

It might be annoying, that she can't properly analyze how emotions are meant to be. After all, understanding humans is a difficult task when looking from the outside....

And it might be aggravating, that she can't register the gravity of death. She doesn't even know how to protect herself, as she is too focused on learning....

And it might even be a little painful, that she can't stop wanting to learn more about you. As all she wants to find is who she is.

Strengths: A genius by birth, Ashelynn was always gifted with being an abnormally quick learner. She is in fact a tactician.

History:
Daughter of the late Sun Zhao, and Sarah Graves. Ashelynn became an orphan by the age of ten, thanks to a powerful Abnorm that chanced about their family home whilst fleeing from a Hunter. If it were not for her surviving brother, Ryder, she may very well have rotted on the streets. He was a little more than six years older than her, which put him right at the age where working was an option. Those first couple years were a little difficult, as they really didn't have a home. He did odd jobs to keep them going, but it's not until he joined the Bounty Hunters at the age of eighteen that they really settled down. In truth, he was probably driven by some sort of obsession, seeing as the Abnorm was never caught.

Over the following years, Ashelynn was safeguarded at their home. Ryder refused to let her work, and attempted to bribe her by bringing home books every other week. Unfortunately that worked. She enjoyed the thought of learning, but what really kept her within that house is the fact that Ryder 'befriended' the neighbors. They were fellow Bounty Hunters, behaving like guard dogs. No one could approach the home, and she couldn't leave it. This place was a cage, constructed out of fear and desperation. The thing is, Ashelynn did not despise this. She knew that this cage served as an asylum for Ryder. It was something that kept his mind from breaking down..

Perhaps that is why Ashelynn never mentioned her growing weakness. He was so absorbed living in that shard of peace, that he never noticed how frail it was becoming. You see, by the age of fifteen, Ashelynn was already blind. Incapable of even reading the books that were brought to her, not that he would notice. He was never the type to study things within his comfort zone after all, probably because he was afraid of what he would discover. In that regard, he was blind as well.

It was one year ago that things began to change. At first it was an assortment of colors blurred together. But as time passed, Ashelynn did in fact regain a sense of vision. It just wasn't comparable to how a normal human would perceive the world. She, of course knew that she was becoming an Abnorm. One that was resting right in the middle of the Bounty Hunters.




The Idea of Perception

It's an undeniable fact that Ashelynn is blind. There is nothing in this world that her eyes can perceive.

As such, Ashelynn's idea of sight (perception) originates from the concept of mapping an environment within her mind. Much like how a bat is capable of using echolocation in order to learn about it's surroundings. Though, her mapping doesn't simply stop on a wall and bounce back. It might be easier if you start with the outskirts of her 1.6 kilometer range, and picture it as if all of that information in between is forcibly pulled towards her, as a focal point. Almost as if imaginary transmitters were created on that line.

But you see, this also means that if she moves, her previous range will remain unaltered. Which is why it is referred to as a 'domain'. If she were in some type of vehicle, she might very well leave the area she can 'see'.

So what does she 'see' exactly?
Imagine if the opacity of everything around you was reduced by 85%, and then remove the texture. You know that favorite cup of yours with something silly written on it? Well, to her it may as well be a glass cup, with a light shining through it. The only benefit of this is that objects change hue depending on their distance from her. Which means at 1 kilometer, congratulations your glass cup now has a gleam of red. And yes, she can register it properly from that distance. Because remember, it's not her eyes that are providing 'sight'.


*Do note that she can not properly register small objects moving faster than 6 mph. So yes, you can probably throw a rock at her and she would have absolutely no idea what happened.*

The Abnorm
Looking back on it, that Abnorm probably had some expertise when it came to Hemomancy. His victims, including both Sun and Sarah, suffered from massive internal bleeding without visible interference from the surface. It also explains why Ashelynn grew so much weaker after that day, even if her brother did want to address it as a symptom of depression. By this point, she is even used to her own body seizing up for a short duration. Though she generally tucks closely to herself when she feels it occurring. This isn't necessarily because her body 'locks' up, but rather she loses control, and wants to keep herself propped up in some way.

Personality:
Ryder is a serious individual, one that is well versed in hiding his true emotions. And this is not out of respect for others, nor to make others think higher of him. But rather, he feared the anger burning within him would hurt his sister. As such, he forcibly numbed his emotions behind a mask. It's thanks to that mask that others say Ryder truly only lives for two things. One, being the sister he loves so dearly. The second, is the desire to cut down all Abnorms, as to prevent them from separating another family.

Otherwise, a human would find him quite passive. After all, when not on the hunt, it's as if life simply can walk past him untouched. Eyes practically dead to the world as if he himself had long given up on his own life. Fortunately, this also means he is quite open to inquiries, as he feels little desire for his own being. If anything, it's like he's a wandering soul trying to find his place within the world. More so, as his sister ages.
That is of course, until the past year.

Abnormal? If so Power: Hydrokinesis, the manipulation of water and it's states, though currently her knowledge of how to use her abnormality is extremely limited.
Able to create water from the air, assuming enough hydrogen and oxygen is present, and then bend it to her will. Although at present her abilities are only reasonably useful in a solid state, or ice. Due to her altered anatomy, Jessica does not actually breath, but rather absorbs water into her body, and then recycles it to give her body oxygen. This comes to be both beneficial and detrimental. Her body is covered in an extremely thin layer of ice which is resistant to physical attacks. This ice causes her exterior to always be below zero in temperature, in turn emitting a sort of cold aura around her.
Her hands, which are covered in a monstrously thick layer of ice, freeze anything they touch, regardless of Jessica's intention, and cause the frozen targets to be difficult to thaw.

Appearance: Jessica is by no means athletic in build, her body is instead thin and pale in appearance. Jessica emits a cold aura, always wearing a thick black winter hoodie, both to take advantage of the inconspicuousness of the hood, and the warmth it provides, however it's never enough to warm her freezing cold exterior.
Notable needle marks line the veins on her arms.

Body Modifications: Her hands are covered with a thick ice layer, making them quite thick and barely recognisable as human hands. This layer of thick ice seems intent to continue to gradually spread down her arm like a cancer, until perhaps her entire body is consumed.


Previous affiliations: Believes to have been held captive by the World Government, but has no actual proof to go by. Family and town overrun by Bounty Hunters as a child.

Personality: Has a somewhat morbid outlook on life, and cares little for other's opinions of her. Cares little for rules, restrictions, and demands. Often seen with her hands in her pockets, and greatly reluctant to touch almost anything, especially others. While not being shy, Jess is a girl of few words. She considers her abnorm powers to be a curse, but will still use them when necessary.
Despite that, she has a great love of nature, and only wishes for peace among the world.

Weaknesses: Due to the nature of Hydrokinesis, she requires Oxygen and Hydrogen to form water from the air, so areas lacking in Oxygen limit her abilities.
Intense heat and energy based attacks can melt the thin layer of ice on her exterior, making her vulnerable to other attacks.
Not experienced in combat, with a weak body, Jess relies on her powers for any form of self-defense. She is also has relatively bad stamina, and cannot run at great speed without assistance from her abilities.
Her greatly reduced metabolism means that she can go for weeks without food, but she requires a great deal of breathable air or water to survive and use her abilities, as she relies on creating water to feed her body oxygen.

Jessica, a girl with medium length brown hair, green eyes, and softly tanned skin was born in a town hidden away far from the large cities. A place which had some abnorms, but no one really thought anything of it. A place of equality and acceptance for all of it's inhabitants. Some believe the Future for Abnorms Society had something to do with it's colonization, but no records of them exist within.
Jessica's parents were greatly respected figures within the town, not for any reason but their accomplishments. Two biologists working toward bringing life back to this desolate world. Lucy worked with them on a daily basis, eager to continue their research for all of her years to come, her love for nature unparalleled. However, it would seem fate disagreed.

A large group of bounty hunters assaulted the town in the night, there was no warning, no understanding of even how they came upon them. Those who tried to fight were incapacitated, or worse... All Jess could remember was the greenhouses lit ablaze, before she was knocked unconscious. A girl of only fifteen years of age lost everything she had ever known in under an hour.

When she awoke she was in a damp stone-walled room, with only a mat to one side, and a bucket to the other. A small hole in the door would sometimes open, a large dark gloved hand reaching in to drop off bread and water.
Sometimes she would hear screams of agony, or the sound of feet dragging along the ground with no voice to compensate. The anticipation of why she was there was a nightmare.

It was days before the door finally swung fully open, Jess cowering in the corner, shivering intensely as two large shadowed individuals pulled her up by her arms, taking her to a room she only knew as the testing facility. The things they did to her, forcing her to consume who knows what, it was putrid. They took no care as the stabbed her with needles, taking and injecting whatever they pleased. She wanted to resist, but she had no energy, no power, her body slowly growing frail to the point of waste, all the while her skin and depleting hair turned a pale white, her eyes a grayish blue, though there was no way for her to see her own face, and she had more to worry about.

As the months went on, and she was brought to and from the testing facility, always thrown back into the dark, damp cell, she could feel something was changing. The puddles on the ground began to grow layers of frost, the walls covered with condensation, was it winter already? She grew colder every day. Meanwhile, the noise from the other inhabitants only decreased, something was happening to them also, they were being removed, in one way or another, she did not know.

Almost half a year after her imprisonment, though it felt like far longer to her, they begun to perform other testing on her. Given a object, she was asked to do numerous things to it, by voices she could not see. "Can you move this... With your mind? Set it ablaze? Try to change your body." But each time she could not do what they asked, and it only worried her further.

"Pfft, useless" A voice rang out from the cell beside her, a familiar noise ending the screaming of the patient, they were getting rid of the failed experiments, and she was next. It had been a year since she was taken against her will, she could hardly remember her own name, 'Subject 198b' was far more appropriate now. She didn't even react to what she believed was an execution, her mind growing numb to the torment. She couldn't do what they asked of her, she didn't want to know why, in some way she just wanted it to be over, and then her door swung open once more.

A tall individual in a white lab-coat entered, stretching a glove onto his hand, a shadowy figure next to them, who walked toward Jess, lifting her up by one arm.
"A shame, I had high hopes for this one." The supposed scientist announced, looking over her husk of a face before walking out of the door. "Subject 198b, failure, it's no wonder with the conditions in this room" They announced, shivering, striking the paper on their clipboard with the pen, before preparing to leave the room, the shadowy figure holding a strange device to Jessica's head.
"Wait, what the!?"

Those were the last words she remembered from that place, alongside that ever familiar noise. Awaking by an estuary near Freefall City, Jessica's fingers were covered by a thick ice-like claws, the grass and trees she dared to touch with them freezing solid.
It was almost a year ago that she left that place, still unsure of what exactly happened, doing what she could to survive in a world that seemed to hate her, doing her best to hide her new-found affliction. A girl who once wished only to help nature grow, could now only destroy it, it drove her into a pit of despair.

Now she roams, unsure of where her life will take her, trying to come to grips with her abilities, dealing with gangs and others who would try to abuse power. One day she hopes to find that place again, not for memory, no, those thoughts still haunt her. No one should suffer that kind of torment, and Jessica now only desired to find a way to make sure no one ever would.

Personality:
From years spent living with his actual parents, Keiji built a wall around himself to prevent getting into a similar relationship. He starts off more blunt and shows little emotion. Slowly, he'll start warming up until the point where he'll actually share his story. Although he does push away people often, he does want them to care. So far Keiji has only opened up to his guardian, Patrick Oglethorpe.

Strengths:
After his abnorm was discovered, most of his learning went into art so now he is adept in his artistic skills.
Weaknesses:
Keiji can only create up to 10 creatures at once. Any more and he starts to grow physically weaker. At 15 he passes out.

History:
Keiji was born the child of Michiko and Jiro Shizu. They were a small family with a good income so they weren't too poorly equipped to handle raising a son. He first showed the signs of his abnorm when he was only 5 years old. Keiji was in school and at the time his class was drawing their favorite animals. Everything was fine until Keiji got frustrated with his drawing of a fox. He thought it wasn't good enough so he crumpled it up and threw it behind him. Of course, from that image came a red fox, which shocked everyone, him, the teacher, and his classmates.

His parents were immediately informed, and he was sent home. At first, they were just as shocked as he was. However, it only took them a short period of time before they realized how more this could do for them. Within days, they pulled him out of school and started homeschoolig him. His father was a scientist so he could help with teaching Keiji science and math. His mother, however, was an illustrator for children's books and would teach him for most of the time in order to improve on his artistic ability. It may seem as an innocent desire to prevent their child from attacks, but it was actually so much more.

After 4 long years of training as perfecting, Keiji could be very confident with his ability to draw. Then, Michiko and Jiro put the second stage of their plan into play. They began asking their son to draw specific creatures and bring them to life. He obeyed their commands, and his parents began selling the creatures, usually farm animals, to butchers to make profit. However, they realized soon that his creatures did not stay as they were when they died, but rather became ripped paper. The butchers, became enraged and started demanding their money back.

However, Keiji's parents blamed him for everything. They began torturing him in order to teach him a lesson. It was then he realized the true nature of his parents. After they decided that he was tortured enough for the time being, they locked him in his room for the night, where he could devise a plan to rid himself from this life. On a page, he detailed a large dangerous looking beast and added a drop of his blood onto it before creating it. He order it to kill his parents, and it tore down the door and took after them. With the deed done, Keiji reverted his companion and laid on his bed, deep in thought. Hours later, his bedroom door was pried open a figure stepped inside and took him away, his parents were never found. Even since, his guardian has been Patrick Oglethorpe.

Appearance: Adelphos has an olive-like skin tone, both from his Greek heritage as well as constant outdoor exposure. His physique is that of a lithe, but muscular one with large amounts of power hidden beneath the seemingly thin frame.

Personality:
At first glance Adelphos seems to be both eccentric and flamboyant in many different ways, from him constantly giving everyone pet names, to referencing his actions around him to something as if it were a grand feast. In essence, you can't really tell what 'flavor' the mixture of flamboyance and eccentricity you are going to get with him. Yet no matter what there is always the underlying feeling that everything isn't as it seems with him. This is due to it all being just a mask to hide away the feral beast slumbering within him. This very same beast only shows when his blood starts pumping and the adrenaline starts to skyrocket. When he's like this his true personality shows. Unyielding even in the face of total defeat and unstoppable till past even his last breath, he shows himself to be something akin to a monster amongst men, even in this world of abnormality. It is in this mindset, this state, that he is truly a hunter as well as a being you don't want to confront lightly.

Yet even deeper beneath both of these faces lay a complexity that borders on the oxymoronic. A distaste for wasted talent and neglect, a disregard for societal norms and expectations, a drive to challenge himself against the god-like, a desire to protect what is his beyond even obsession. All facets of the enigma buried underneath the beast hidden within the joker.


History:
Eleven years after the emergence of the first Abnorm, Adelphos was born. From the very start it was seen that Adelphos wasn't a 'normal' child so to speak, as even young there was a fearlessness in him not found often. Breaching into his first two years of life this fact was only solidified as well as enforced by a sense of adventure borderline that of self-harm. Desperate to try and keep their child safe, or at least temper what they already knew would be a lifelong habit, Adelphos' parents sent him to his father's brother, a disciplined man well versed in various forms of combat that happened to desire a heir to pass off his knowledge, in hopes of both reigning him in as well as protecting him from what they percieved as the growing threat of Abnorms.

This course of action was met with partial success. Very soon his uncle discovered that there was more to it than a disregard for personal health and a drive to adventure. No, it went deeper than simply being a thrillseeker, it was a primal need to prove himself better. As his uncle couldn't truly bind down the beast within him, he instead taught Adelphos to bury it beneath the visage of an flamboyant eccentric. Both, as a lesson in self control, as well as an advantage to the boy. Only when he was sure that Adelphos had a resonable amount of control over himself and his primal side did he teach the boy, and what he found was that Adelphos was a sponge in everything combat, quickly soaking, assimilating, and adapting everything taught to him to his own liking.

Soon enough at the age of 15 his uncle told him he had taught him as much as he possibly could and sent the boy out into the world, but not before telling him of an old story of a martial artist that travelled the world and faced the master of every school of combat in hopes of further training himself and proving himself as the best combatant. Understanding what his uncle was trying to tell him, as well as the challenge hidden behind the story that was put forth to him, Adelphos set off into the world to seek worthy challenges.

It is through this desire for a challenge that led Adelphos to quickly become a bounty hunter. Not for any misguided hatred of Abnorms, but a primal instinct to constantly face those who would prove worthy to further himself and his skills.

The Dojo Run
Given the state of the world, proper dedicated dojos were few and far in between. That, however, hasn't stopped Adelphos from challenging, and beating, all that he has come across, and from them various trophies to show his conquest. To this day he still roams in search of masters to face so he may return to his uncle with the title of 'Best Combatant'.

The Hunt For Abnorms
Unlike most bounty hunters who go after Abnorms through a misguided belief of devilry, or a desire for vengeance, or whatever else reason they have, Adelphos hunts for the challenge it poses, as well as a supplement for his dojo run. Whether he goes for the kill or not, he makes sure to also take a trophy from each of his hunts and add it to his collection. Suffice to say, he has a reputation among many as being something of a boogeyman for his complete lack of emotional attachment to his job, instead having what they consider a primal need to hunt and hunt and hunt some more.

And that's just the way he likes it.

Abnormal? If so Power: A mini computer was placed in his head at the top of his spinal cord. It allows him to control his bodies natural functions with extreme accuracy. For example he could over clock his nervous system to increase his reflexes to super human levels. Or he could increase the rate of cell division and heal wounds at an accelerated level. However the energy for all of this doesn't come from nowhere he has to provide the energy through the natural metabolic process.

Personality: A serious and grim man, Patrick never smiles. In fact he has an almost permanent scowl, grumpy old man is an apt description for him.


Likes (at least 3): Black coffee, the kid (though he'd never admit it), boxing.

Dislikes (at least 3): Laziness, people who go back on they're word, and bad influences.

Strengths (Any): Extensive military training, and knowledge of combat tactics. As time goes by he has figured out ways to make certain changes to his bodies make up permanent.

Weaknesses (Must have at least 1): His age, he's no where near as quick as he used to be, and he can sometimes be over protective of the kid. Not to mention the addiction to cigarettes.


History: Patrick was born and raised in prewar America, his family only consisted of his mother as when she got pregnant his father had run off and her family disowned her. So his early was a little difficult, his mom was constantly working in order to make sure they had enough food on the table, and without the guiding hand of any parents young Patrick (who was a rather small for his age) was bullied and picked on. Naturally this kind of situation can be hard on a young kid, especially one without any guidance in how to deal with it. But Patrick's personality was shaped over these early years, he became stubborn and serious, he learned how to box by watching matches on television, and he was completely self sufficient. By the time he was a old enough to graduate everyone in the area new Patrick, and if they didn't like him, they certainly respected him.

After he graduated he went into the military, where he excelled and, eventually joined a special operations unit. During his service in the time before the great war he must have impressed someone with considerable political weight to throw around as he was soon chosen to take part in a experiment to create super soldiers. Months of gene therapy, and countless operations and tests later, he was ready. A soldier that could fight longer harder and with more efficiency than any normal human. Of course Patrick wasn't the only one involved in the experiments, but he was never allowed to meet any of the the other "supers" as the scientists were calling them. Everything about the experiments was as top secret as it could be, even from those conducting them.

January 7th, 2033. The day that changed everything, the hand fired, millions of people died and Patrick's unit of "supers" was cast aside in favor of the development of Americas own hand of god. What was left of the government decided that Patrick and the others were far to dangerous to just let walk around, so the order to terminate the project and everyone involved was handed down. Needless to say Patrick escaped, even to this day he's unsure if any of the others managed to do the same or if there ever was any others to begin with. He spent years on the run, even after the government he knew had collapsed with the rest of the world following soon after. Only stopping after the birth of Zach Merk and the coming of the abnorms. Of course he still kept his own augments a secret.

Patrick found work where he could over the years after the rise of the WG, odd jobs nothing to exciting, that is until he was hired by a group of butchers to retrieve some money that had been stolen from them by a few local con-men. It was supposed to be a simple job, find the thief's threaten them with some good old fashion violence, get the money back. What Patrick found was a blood bath, he guessed there must have been two people judging by the fact that he had found two right feet, but as to what had happened of who had done it he had no idea.

That's when he heard a noise in the back of the house, expecting to find the murderer, who he fully expected to be a very angry abnorm, he smashed through the separating door weapon drawn and ready to fight. Only to find a kid, huddled on the bed. What else could Patrick do? The kid, Keiji, has been with Patrick ever sense.

Name extra: Kore is derived from the Greek "κόρη", meaning maiden, and is another name given to Persephone, Greek goddess of spring and queen of the underworld. "Dair" is oak in Irish - so her name means "Oak Maiden".

Power:
Kore is primarily able to control, grow and manipulate plants with almost frightening speed, power and accuracy. Generally, her imagination is the limit on her power, and the basic manipulation of plants has no effect on her or her energy levels - meaning she can use this ability as much as she wishes.
She is still gaining in strength, however, so take her "imagination" with a pinch of salt. But her powers are becoming that strong - as using them constantly and pushing their boundaries as much as she can makes her power grow at a steady (if somewhat slower now than it used to be) pace.

She is also able to communicate with plants - not in any conventional way, nor in any way that can really be explained, as trees and plants cannot speak and they aren't conscious or sentient in the way the words are generally perceived. But she can communicate with them - and her power is able to translate all they tell her into words, and her own words into their words.

However, her power also gives her another ability - she is able to give energy to and take energy away from plants, which effectively means she can increase her own energy and abilities by taking energy away from plants, and vice versa. Very rarely will she take energy from plants (it makes her very uncomfortable) - unless they offer it, but she will often sap her own energy to help dying plants.

Years living rough have given her a very rugged look - everything she owns is found by her. However, she often bathes in rivers and a bathtub she found when the river is too cold, so she always maintains a very good level of hygiene.
Even if she has finally settled down in a more permanent living space that she made herself, she still needs to scavenge for all she needs - so her physical fitness and strength is good, but she is slightly underweight and skinny due to her diet.
In short, she is skinny and fragile looking - but stronger than she looks, and this fragility is more a false pretence than anything, unless it has been a particularly harsh winter.

Personality:
Kore is kind and gentle, and naturally has a soft demeanour, and has always been wise beyond her years. She isn't naturally paranoid, but being a rank A has made her nervous around people, and she likes to avoid them like the plague, observing from a distance until she knows they are safe and useful to her. She uses the trees and the plants as her eyes and ears, ready to flee with a seconds notice.
She is not a fighter, and she will try to avoid confrontation unless it is absolutely necessary or unavoidable. Oddly, she has a deep rooted rage and hatred towards humans (but also a strong fear), and although she dislikes killing - she is much less bothered about killing people. As much as she denies it, she enjoys watching humans suffer by her hands and powers, which scares her. She does not know why she feels like this, nor why this unnatural paranoia (different to the paranoia she gained from being a rank A, this is deep rooted like her rage), so unlike her, is completely centred around people. She is terrified of these unnatural feelings, but cannot deny them, so she avoids humans as much as she can.

Likes: Nature, fruit, animals, spring, and plants - especially oak trees.

Strengths: She has an acute and very strong hold on her powers, she is physically fit and strong.
Weaknesses: She is very affected by plants and animals being killed or harmed for no reason, and will often put herself in danger to try and heal what she can - whether using her powers on plants or her knowledge of healing on animals. Very rarely will she take energy from plants - which often puts her at a major disadvantage. Especially considering she's anaemic, which is an almost constant sap of her energy. She also eats meat as little as she possibly can - which adds to her problems if she cannot find enough to eat - both physically, as she considers eating meat a last resort, and mentally, as killing and eating animals affects her greatly, she hates doing it and loathes peoples disregard for them.

History:
Kore cannot remember anything of her life before her 6th birthday. She awoke to the gentle hold of an ancient oak, asking her "Child, are you alright?". She was covered from head to toe in blood and tiny flecks of hard, white matter. She did not know how she knew her name when she recited it to the oak, nor how she knew it was her 6th birthday. She remembered nothing of her parents, where she had come from, or how she was covered in blood and, as the oak told her, bone. She was covered in scars, old and new, and fresh wounds - bruises, and a broken wrist. The oak taught her many things in those 2 weeks, how to fix her wrist, how to eat and live. She wished she could stay. But when the thunder started in the clear blue sky, something she instinctively labelled at helicopters. Her fear blossomed, and she ran, the grass below her feet pushing her along, the branches at her side pulling her along faster as she sobbed breathlessly, stumbling along hours after the sound was too faint to hear. The instinctual fear throbbed in her chest, still as strong as it had been when she first heard those people, she did not know who they were, but she knew she had to be afraid, very very afraid.
It was still as strong when she finally collapsed, the ivy holding her already failed legs up, buckled as she lost consciousness.
She lived out her life, moving almost constantly as she went from place to place - scavenging what she couldn't find or forage, stealing as a last resort. Never did she join society, or seek out her own kind (her own kind being people, as she had no differentiation between them and abnorms like herself until much later).
Until they came for her. As she grew, as her power grew faster and faster, they hunted her more vigorously, and she learned from them too. She learnt that she wasn't a "human" like them, and she learnt of her hatred for them, singing in harmony with her terror. The hunters, they called her many things - Rank A, Subject 216, Abnormal, Devil child. Some called her nothing, said nothing - and she learnt that these were the most dangerous, the ones who had done this so many times before that they didn't even bother to call her anything. Granted, she had killed a few, but only once they gave her no choice. At least, that is what she told herself.
Only one group managed to capture her, when she was 14 years of age, it was a beautiful hot summers day, and she had been bathing in the river. There was no wind, she got out too slowly, they were the silent ones.
They didn't last very long. Even though she wanted to ignore it, pretend it wasn't there, but the involuntary smile curling on her face was there as she stood over their bodies. She learnt many things that day.

Now, she lives in a massive, ancient, Giant Sequoia tree - in amongst a large forest of all types of trees and plants, big and small. The location is incredibly remote, so it's very rare that anyone is around, and the forest is bountiful and vast, which gives her a large area to roam, forage and grow food - as she's finally started a farm of sorts to give her some dietary security whilst she stays.
She is also located near 2 great rivers, and is only a very short walk from a bubbling, crystal clear spring. Even though it gets very cold in the winter, she now has a roof over her head and a stone fireplace which keeps the cold out.
Her home is a tree house, located extremely high up in her Sequoia tree, and only easily accessible through her powers, as there is no ladder or staircase. The tree house is made from her powers also, and wraps around her Sequoia mainly, but also branches out to 2 neighbouring trees - giving her lots of room. Compared to how she was living before, she is now in the lap of luxury, and she is worried it won't last.

Abnormal Abilities: Sealing Blood

- A mutation within Sera's blood that modified its molecular structure. Now, her blood is equivalent to that of both an anti-biotic and a strong band-aid. When any form of flesh wound is inflicted, the blood flows only long enough to seal the injury. Note that the blood does not completely heal an injury nor can it regrow a severed limb, it dries into a skin-colored covering that feels like canvas. Once the wound is completely healed, the covering becomes loose.

- Secondly, Sera's blood can also be used to treat flesh wounds inflicted upon another person. It is a painful process for Sera as she must draw her own blood in order to do so, however.

Personality: Sera is a guardian and a mother through and through. Serving as a medic in her younger years, she cared for people of all ages, human and abnormal alike. She is kind, observant, and speaks her mind when she feels appropriate. Her voice is soft, as she always underestimates her inteligence. Her words become more jumbled the more stressed she is.

Likes: Gathering, Walking, Reading, Sleeping. Solving puzzles, fire.

Strengths: Good speed and reflexes, sensible, also being a medic she is skilled with her hands.

History: Sera Lynnx was born to a family of 3. Her parents, Sean and Rachael Lynnx, found a home in a WG city and secured a modest but stable income as military office workers -- a friend of theirs had stacks of paperwork to process and he recommended the Lynnx's work to his co-workers, even to his superiors. The job was tedious, but it was a ray of hope for the family, having lost much in the aftermath of WW III.

Rachael read to Sera often, mainly consisting of stories about the heros in the WG military. Every night, Sera stayed up well past midnight, waiting for Mom's stories. Rachael did her best to clear time for Sera.

During school, Sera read alot, often times hanging out in the school library until the librarian had to close the facility.

When Sera was old enough, she applied to the military (to the minor dismay of Rachael), taking on the role of medic. At the time Sera was a perfectly normal human. She completed her training and education and served in the aftermath of skirmishes, though mainly she helped out a military hospital. Throughout the years, she had befriended many of the soldiers and their families. More than once had some of them requested her hand, much to her great embarassment.

At the age of 25, a large-scale battle broke out near the area she had been treating injured local inhabitants. Through her senior's radio, she overheard a gruff voice demanding all available support and personnel diverted to the current battle. By the sound of it, they were engaging a gang of abnorms who must have acquired dangerous weapons. At once, Sera volunteered. Grabbing as many supplies as she could fit into the vehicle given to her, she motored off to the front lines. As she drove through friendly territory, she tossed medipacks, bandaids, painkillers and cleansing agents to scurrying medics.

Helping as many as she could find, she left her jeep and went deeper into the epicenter of the fight. Doing so nearly costed her life, as she had to stretch her senses to the limit, avoiding enemy soldiers, enduring hazardous zones and maneuvering a destroyed environment.

Ordered to report to the Command Post, Sera stopped outside for a brief moment. She was about to open the flap when she overheard the same gruff, but angrier tone, voice ordering an execution on the Abnormal civilians. Stifling down the urge to scream, she entered the Command Post. The commanding officer interrogated her. He asked who she was, what she did, and why.

The tent was silent as Sera quietly answered the questions. The CO reprimanded her for her recklessness, but patted her on the back and said "Good job." She went home and told her parents, and they agreed that she should never work for the military again.

A few days passed where Sera settled at home and readjusted to civilian life. However it didn't last long. During one late night, Sera felt like making a small meal for Rachael, so she prepared the ingredients and was cutting some vegatables when she accidently placed her finger too close to the blade. It left a deep cut, and it was painful, however it had stopped bleeding before Sera could find First-aid; the cut had vanished although she still felt a bit of pain on her finger. Surprised, she thought she was dreaming, but the pain was real. The next morning, she examined the finger again and massaged it. She didn't feel any more pain, but suddenly she felt something come apart. She peeled it off. Holding the skin up close to her eye, she noticed that it had the exact same color as her finger. Astonished, she mustered up the courage to cut herself again. Sure enough, the bleeding stopped, but this time Sera saw how some of the blood stuck to her finger and some sort of a band aid had been formed. Hardly believing her eyes, she nervously concluded she had become an abnormal. It explained the strange lines that suddenly appeared on her arms. Recalling how she had wrapped cloth around her arms, she assumed that if she didn't have the cloth, she may not have come home.

As loving parents, they looked past her new condition, and allowed her greater freedom from before.

Now Sera wanders around the world, seeing things she hasn't before and writing to her parents about such things. Now an abnormal, she seeks to better understand her new self.

Scarlett's ability for throwing is limited to anything that she can pick up with ease in both her hands, which means at maximum, 4 tons.

Previous affiliations - any present DW affiliations for your character?: Currently acts as an "enforcer" for a moderately sized gang that relies on her to push their agenda.

Personality: Quiet and unsure of herself, Scarlett doesn't understand what it means to be a person. She's been treated like a dog almost all her life and has come to expect it from people. Trusting nobody but herself and her "master" leaves her cold towards others. If that wasn't enough to push people away, the girl often lacks emotions, not feeling anything when someone dies or is pleading for mercy. She knows to follow her orders so that she gets fed and sheltered. However, when she's given her orders, she is ruthless and suddenly seems to come alive as if the rush of battle is all that she knows and lives for.


Likes (at least 3): Sweets, Head Pats, Fighting, Comfy beds and sleeping.
Dislikes (at least 3): Being woken, Thunder/Lightning, Guns, Fire and anyone that isn't her master.
Strengths (Any): Wielding unrestrained power, this girl is the definition of overkill, often damaging large amounts of property during her missions. She is fiercely loyal and dedicated, never stopping until she's completed her mission.
Weaknesses (Must have at least 1): Scarlett consumes a great deal of energy when she uses her abilities and needs large amounts of protein and carbohydrates to keep up her strength. And should she ever be without orders, the girl doesn't know what to do with herself as everyone has cared for her like a pet.


History: Scarlett was born into a large family of six children, four cousins, three uncles, one aunt, her parents and both her grandparents living in the same home. Every last one of them was a natural born abnorm with a tremendous ability. However this garnered the attention of some very unsavory characters, the WG and the entire family had a massive bounty put on their heads. By the time the family would settle into a new location they would have to move once more to hide from the Bounty Hunters that would come for them. But constantly running took its toll.

Eventually the family had to stop running because the grandparents couldn't take it anymore. Rather than abandon them though, the O'Hare family stuck together along with four year old Scarlett to try and defend themselves. But they were overwhelmed by the sheer number of hunters. Unable to do anything, Scarlett was forced to run away at her parents' orders. The girl using her immense strength to leap away and lose her trackers, however she wound up knocking on death's door in the process.

Lucky for her, a "kind soul" found the girl and brought her into his gang. The man fed her and helped her get back on her feet before testing her to see if she was human or not. When she nearly threw one of his men across the camp, he declared Scarlett as "Dog" and kept her close to his side. He trained her rigorously to follow his orders, often starving the poor girl if she didn't do as she was told. Without food, she couldn't use her ability. Without her ability she was useless to the gang and ignored. This treatment trained Scarlett to think of as nothing more than an animal to protect her "master" and hunt her "master's" enemies. She hardened herself and shut down then need to question orders. As long as she obeyed she was clothed, fed and protected from those that began to look at her with less than impure thoughts.

With her strength, Scarlett eventually brought in more members to the gang. Though Scarlett never cared, so long as she was given food and protection, she would fight for her master and be the pillar of strength to keep the gang standing.

Abnormal? If so Power: Ezra's abnormality is centered around one thing, and one thing only - his willpower. With only a single thought, he has the ability to generate flames of varying degrees and amounts, his very own inferno at his beck and call. He doesn't exactly know how it works, down to the specifics, but he does know that, if he overdoes it, his blood eventually begins heating, crimson veins appearing vibrantly over his pale skin. As a side-effect of his power, Ezra possesses extreme immunity to both heat and cold, and doesn't seem to get burned by any type of flames, his own or otherwise. His body-heat is extremely warm to the touch because of this, although not to an uncomfortable degree.

Body Modifications: A beautiful, yet intimidating tattoo of a roaring dragon, black and permanent, wraps along the back of Ezra's shoulder, the head curling over his right collar and ending at his chest. It represents him as the leader of the Draconic Dynasty.
Other: His right arm, from the shoulder to the forearm, is covered in a faded, yet noticeable red burn. He doesn't talk about how he gained it.

Previous affiliations:
The Draconic Dynasty - A guild built completely by Ezra, from the ground up. On the exterior, it may seem like a 'gang', considering the somewhat shady members that are in it, but it is a guild built by trust, fierce loyalty, and the motto of "To Defend with a Vengeance". Like many Guilds, it was created as an 'antithesis' to gangs, fighting against criminal and unjust activity, and defending the freedoms and liberty of both humans and abnorms.

It's an underground guild, not displayed vibrantly in the open, because Ezra enjoys working from the shadows...and, because their methods of 'vengeance' isn't exactly merciful or lawful. For the most part, it's like a 'vigilante' group. They operate from a hidden warehouse, mostly overseen by Ezra's second-in-command, while Ezra himself travels in search of good mercenary work to fund their operations with. They don't see their leader very often, but they trust him inexplicably, and he has came through for them many times.

Personality:
Ezrael is a free-spirit, first and foremost. Independent and seemingly aloof, this young man believes solely in personal freedom and loyalty, and has no respect for those who enslave and hurt innocents. He seems cool and composed on the exterior - eyes sharp and astute, and face stoic other than the occasional, confident smirk or grin. Not much ruffles his feathers, and it's his highly adaptable and open mindset that makes him such a good leader.

He is straightforward and blunt in his words and actions, with a dry, sarcastic, and dark type of humor that can easily slice a man to threads if he pushes his luck. Then again, Ezra prefers allowing his actions to speak for him if the situation calls for it. Despite the ruthless way he treats 'trash' - or, those that inspires his ire and anger, Ezra isn't, in fact, cold-blooded...completely. He has an inwardly kind, loyal, and protective soul, that he only shows only to those that manage to squeeze their way into his heart. Truly anger him, and his cold, passionate fury will leave you breathless, before his flames consumes your very essence.

He has a bit of an inquisitive nature, and never gives up when something - or someone - piques his interest.

Likes: The heat, rain - surprisingly, old school music, his motorcycle, saving innocent lives, making a difference in his own way.
Dislikes: Nosy people, trash, large bodies of water, being told what to do, and unnecessary cruelty - when it's given to the undeserving.
Strengths: Combat, leadership, stressful situations - very adaptable, and giving speeches. He's blunt, but passionate and charismatic when he wants to be.
Weaknesses: Large amounts of water tends to lower his temperature, decreasing the strength of his flames. His ruthlessness in battle can be a weakness. When he's angry...he gets angry.

History:
Ezrael's life started off a bit...odd, all things considered. He grew up in chains, the son of two Abnorm prisoners, enslaved underneath the banner of a human trafficker. His early childhood wasn't fun - not many were, in this day and age. He woke up at the crack of dawn each day, only to notice, each and every time, that his parents were already being worked to the bone.

He would be led towards the big building in the middle of the 'prison' settlement, where they'd test him for diseases and abnormalities that had nothing to do with his true abnorm. After they were satisfied, he was sent with the rest of the young ones to the training building, where they were viciously and ruthlessly crushed time and time again, in an effort to strengthen their bodies, powers, and skills for any potential buyer looking for a weapon or two. For years, it was the same thing, time and time again...and Ezra was tired of it.

Rinse and repeat.

Among the young ones, he was a psuedo...leader, of sorts. When they were accused of stealing an extra loaf of bread during food times, he would take the punishment, knowing that the others weren't as strong-willed as he was. When the instructors yelled for another 'volunteer', he was the one who raised his hand, before they could choose the smallest person their eyes could land on. In the hardships ahead, Ezra took it all with a rebellious glint in his eye, and persevered, much to the admiration and respect of the other children. He grew stronger, both his powers and his skills, and his spirit never broke.

Perhaps that's why, at the age of fourteen, they scheduled for his execution.

It was a decision sent down by the higher ups of the settlement, but the order was looked upon with shock and grim curiosity, regardless. No one cared for him - his parents only saw him in passing, but everyone was curious as to why he would be publicly slain. He would have sold for an incredibly high price...healthy, with powerful abilities. The truth was...they feared him. They were used to weak-willed little soldiers that did what they were told, not rebellious brats that never gave up.

In their fear, they underestimated him.

The public hanging did not work out as planned. When he looked down at the crying forms of his fellow children, and then glanced at the gleeful looks on the human adults, something inside of him snapped. The memory is still a blur, to this day, but Ezra could remember his body feeling hot...oh so hot, hotter than anything he'd ever experienced before. He'd raised his bare right arm towards those cruel adults...and crimson hot flames obscured his vision. That's when the screams began.

When he regained consciousness, he was being carried by one of his closer friends - Stony, a tall, shy brute of a teenager, with brown skin and black hair. When questioned about where they were going, Stony only answered with one word. "Away." They were heading into the forest, and in the back, as blurry as his eyesight was, Ezra could see that damned settlement...surrounded in smoke, as buildings burned, and chaos reigned. A rebellion...he triggered it. As he fell back unconscious, Ezra could see Stony looking at him with pure admiration and loyalty in his dull eyes, and Ezra smiled. "...Let's go, then..." he mumbled, before passing out.

After that? The two friends, now brothers in arms, travelled to a nearby city, and got work as young, but healthy and skilled handymen. Eventually, they moved up into mercenary work, getting a nice amount of money going, and gaining a few friends along the way. A few years later, the Draconic Dynasty was formed, and the rest is history.

Zephyr is explained by many as a small sickly looking guy who most assume is a child of sorts. Scarred all over his body and showing little body mass he looks as if he could be snapped in two if someone lightly tapped him. He has bandages wrapped all over him, his general look being that of a withering man with little left.

Personality:
Think of waking up one day and not remembering anything, your name, why you were in a empty field and why you were wounded. Everything had been wiped for Zephyr, so naturally his personality was gone as well. All the things that made him, him were all blurry. So at the moment Zephyr is an emotionally unstable amnesiac living in constant fear of the unknown. Everything being unknown. He is either changing rapidly from emotion to emotion probably trying to remember which ones are right or is in a state of emptiness where he shows no emotion at all. So his personality is all over the place as is his fragmented mind. And being in this state makes him have a lot of negative personality traits, like being foolish and crushing sadness. Things he cant control well but still show. which some people may understand while others label him weak and useless. But he has good intentions, when you catch him in a normal state of mind he is nice and really cares about people. He is a kind hearted guy who could barely hurt a fly and would rather talk his way out of things then fight.

altogether is a mess when first met, he probably seems insane to most and has varying mood swings throughout the day but somewhere deep down the old him is there. It's just blurry and forgotten. But the real question many wonder is, who did he used to be. The man he is now may be worrying himself to death but at least his heart is in the right place and he has some good in him. Who is to say that before he forgot everything he was not a murderous psychopath with no remorse or emotion. Hence why most prefer him in his current state, because sometimes remembering is deadly. Thankfully his memory is still bad now so it would take a long time to remember anything good or bad.

Likes:
The starry sky- Zephyr feels normal when looking up at the stars on a quiet night. He is not sure why exactly but the feeling lingered.


Nature- Just like how he likes staring up at the night sky, he likes being out in nature and dislikes being in cities, mostly because they just increase his fear levels.

Loneliness- For some odd reason Zephyr does not mind being alone. Some part of him drags him away from conflicts and people and to empty areas. He does not mind talking to people but again, a part of him feels like he should not and that attachment is bad.

Dislikes:
Violence- I mean it's really a no brainer right now, he just woke up and can't remember anything so of course he will be afraid of anything violent and he has no idea how to fight or anything.

The government- He feels an urge to hurt them, and its a strong one.

Cities- Just being around people makes him afraid.

Strengths:
No history- Many would say this is a weakness but technically its a strength. There is no history on this guy, no files, his fingerprints match no known data, he is a stranger to the world. It is unknown what exactly happened or why he is a blank slate but it may be uncovered when he remembers. But at the moment, no one has anything on him.

Agility- Zephyr is fast and nimble given his height and weight. He flows like water when he needs to dodge attacks or run away. This is something that he does
instinctively meaning he probably was very agile and could dodge well before he forgot.

Weaknesses:
Physically weak- The guy has no meat on his bones, is short, and barely weighs anything. His physical capabilities are very lacking to say the least.

No powers- If he did have any they are now long forgotten.

History:

It felt like it was only yesterday when his life began, funny enough it was actually a week ago. Zephyr awoke in an empty field a week ago, badly wounded and surrounded by destruction. He remembered nothing, everything was so blurry and faint. And thinking about it only hurt. Zephyr's history is a short and sad one, and will be filled in as he remembers. When he awoke he was covered in blood and could barely breath, someone had pierced his lung cavity, not the actual lung but the plural space with a blade. Zephyr at least remembered some things about puncture wounds and knew to keep the blade in him. Other then that he was wounded all over and was wearing some weird gas mask esque thing that whenever he took off made in impossible to breathe so he kept it on and began his slow and painful journey to the nearest town. As he walked away from the devastation he realized he could not remember his name or who he was, it was possible the worst feeling in the world, but worrying would just make him breathe faster and kill him so he just pushed the thought away and never looked back. Thankfully he never looked back, because as he trudged away, holding the blade blood falling from his side he slowly moved farther and farther away from the truth. Their was a body back there, maybe more then one. But he never noticed. Maybe he would have remembered if he saw the dead. But he did not.

Getting to town really sucked and no one wanted to help him originally, he sounded mad. But eventually someone did help him. It took a while to recover but he did. He gave the person almost all the stuff he could give him and then went out to remember who he was. The worst part about this story is he never did, because there was nothing left to remember him by. No one he had seen recognized him, he was a stranger to every place he went. One day when going through his bag to find some scraps of food he found a torn up letter, it was addressed to a Zephyr Xenos. It was so old that he could barely read anything it said but he assumed it was for him so he decided his name was probably Zephyr Xenos and stuck with that. He burned that letter later that night, he decided it was of no use to him anymore. From there he has just wandered around like that of a nomad. With no history, dwindling health and no strength to survive he was off to try his hand at this whole living thing.

Zephyr can control/manipulate air and wind. At the moment he has no idea he even has the power and with intense enough emotions he can burst out and cause devastating winds and a fierce tornado that will center around him and hurt anyone near him, it also make the resulting area harder to breathe in due to all the air going to the tornado. But in the future he will be able to use it better.

History: After growing up an uneventful life for a good week it was easy to notice this kid was not a normal person. Things would randomly fall over. People would swear they felt tugging on their shirts when watching the little munchkin alone. And lastly whenever he started to cry. Small things like crumbs or rubbles would fling around slightly. Though that was all Childs play compared to what he noticed he could do when he was finally old enough to start having common sense.

As upon finally entering the real world at the ripe age of 7 he would be walking around and going through his school life with seemingly no hassle...Though one day upon returning back to his house someone had thrown a weight of sorts at him...Which no normal person could move out of the way of or catch, yet he found it stopping midair in front of him as he held his hand out while going to turn and avoid the impact. As a slight laugh was heard soon after...Followed by a few other abnorms who ran the normal tests and found out that he was indeed an abnorm...Like his parents already knew, though they couldn't get him to be terribly strong with their tests...Slightly unreliable results are all that remain of him in the system.

Upon reaching the age of 16. And getting through school seemingly quickly and efficiently he was given one heirloom that managed to survive the many years and wars...Likely due to the fact that it was made of polyester...(Or just people keeping it together.) As it had faded letters of some school and some sort of sports team. The embroidery which was once on the arm being long gone and any sign of what the name of the school and team being far gone as well. Though the jacket itself was a faint red with areas that at one point were white though now grey with age.

As for anything involving the old world. This kid is a genius on knowing many things that they had completed...And having tried to recreate a few. Such as a battery which tends to spark out more times then it worked...While seeming to be a waist of time and resources...He still attempts to perfect the time whenever he possibly can.

The Traveler asked for her hand and the two wed at a small destroyed chapel in the hills... when they returned to the house he had built for her, they were ambushed by Bounty Hunters looking for her. Snow wept and ran as her husband was slaughtered.

As a boy, and even now, he never seem to standout, hardly ever made much of an impression, and sometimes, even his parents forget that he's around, and it's not out of the lack of trying either, he's just so easily forgotten. Or course, it's not as if he's invisible, you could still see him, and you could find him if you have it in your mind to look for him, it's just that his presence never seem to linger in the minds of other for long in the first place. As such, only the most mindful takes notice of him, but even then, he'll fade from their minds soon enough.

Personality:
For one, Lucca is loud, bombastic, even mischievous, eager to make an impression on the people he meets, sadly to little avail due to his abnormality. However, he is eternally optimistic, and one of these days he's sure everyone will know his name, one of these days... He makes it a point to never give up, but has come to know his own limits enough to know not to be too stubborn. Finally, Lucca is one to take life one step at a time, not much in favor of thinking too far ahead and prefers to enjoy the now rather than worrying about what may happen latter.

As a bounty hunter, Lucca prefers the non-lethal methods of capturing the Abnorms, using tranquilizer darts and other traps to bring in his prey. However, he has been in the business long enough to know that sometimes you can't have it all, and is capable of putting a "live one" into someone that may be far too dangerous to deal with non-lethally. As part of the League of Bounty Hunters, and being a regular citizen at one point, Lucca, though not fully bought into the whole "Devil Children" business, thinking it to be mere superstition, does believe that the World Government is indeed there for the good of all and that the Abnorms he brought in are either locked up for being dangerous criminals or are being treated for their abnormality in someways.

With his abnormality, stealth his Lucca's best weapon, for as long as he keeps his mouth shut and his shenanigans to the minimum level, he can get the jump on any unwary target. Another is his wits, honed from his days as a bounty hunter, of which without he would have kicked the bucket a long time ago.

Weaknesses (Must have at least 1):
Lucca is terribly useless in hand-to-hand combat and even his gun-play is mediocre, and should anyone get a jump on him before he jumps them, the fight will be over then and there. He also has a tendency to gamble on his hunches and rely on his instincts, especially when he does not know what he's doing, which happens more often than desired. Had it not been for his occasionally quick wits and some dumb luck, he'd be long dead.


History:
He was a boy unnoticed by anybody, hardly standing out and never garnered attention. However, that fact made him crave the gaze of others more, getting into various mischief and shenanigans to make heads turn his way. That said, he never really kept those attention for long, and soon he'd fade from the minds of those around him all too quickly. Some may have already given up and embraced their lots in life by this point, but not Lucca, he was a stubborn boy back in the day and he kept on going and going and going.

By the time he was of age, his situation had not changed one bit, and in fact, now it's even worse, since being completely inconspicuous makes it hard to get employment, as the employers tend to have already forgotten about him as soon as he walk out of their door. But on one fateful day, just when he was feeling a tad bit down for being on a full year without employment, a flyer, delivered by the winds sent by perhaps destiny itself, came into his hands.

On the flyers, such words followed, "Do you wish for fame? Do you wish for fortune? Do you wish to bring peace back to this world? Join the League of Bounty Hunters now to gain all that and more! No requirements or prior experience needed, just sign up and you can be one of us!"

And Lucca did exactly that, and after putting his name down on their paperwork, he was part of the league, not at all aware that he's not quite human himself.

Personality: Viktor always gets what he wants, at least, that’s what he thinks. Knowing that his size alone strikes fear into a normal person, Viktor can be quite a demanding individual. He surrounds himself with pushovers and takes advantage of them to do his bidding.

That being said, whenever there is a chance to display his physical prowess, Viktor’s pride never stops him from taking any challenger straight on by himself. He hates losing and will throw a temper tantrum and when he does, he would smash anything he could find to relieve his anger.

He also has the utmost hatred for the Abnorms, simply because they are more “talented” than him (the ones that he has met anyway), and being inferior to them kills Viktor from the inside. He has sworn vengeance upon the Abnorms for shaming him and being stronger than him just because they are born with powers.

History: Being only three when the “Godhand” ended the old world as they know it, Viktor’s childhood should have been a hell to live by, but against all odds he survived and lived through the rest of his youth away without a single care in the world. His father was a soldier that never came home and his mother was a slob that couldn’t be bothered to take care of her child, thus Viktor would do whatever the hell he wanted, whenever he wanted, because no one was there to stop him or teach him about basic human decency. His everyday life was akin to a vagabond’s, doing whatever to pass away his days and fulfilling his needs.

A decade had passed since and stealing and dumpster diving for food became dull and uninteresting, this is when Viktor started learning how to hunt for his food by using make shift traps and weapons he could craft, or simply punching smaller animals to death with his bare hands.

Soon his mother had passed along with another decade of his life, the people that he lived with were also getting tired of having Viktor around so inevitably, Viktor was exiled from the town he lived in and went on to be a true nomad.

Eventually Viktor would join up with the League of Bounty Hunters. He was a hunter of animals already so hunting Abnormals wouldn’t be too different, right? Those were his thoughts, and those thoughts would ultimately lead him into a world of trouble.

Present day: Being out on a what seemed to be a regular hunt, Viktor surprisingly came back with a new friend, a docile red fox that Viktor probably would have killed if it had not behaved so friendly and approached him out of the blue. He decided to keep her as his pet, and named her Vixen. (Yeah Viktor’s not creative like that)

When it does Vixen takes on the personality of its target and slowly assimilates the victim’s thought process with her own making her slowly transcend into humanity. If the one she mind jacks gets knocked out, her connection will be severed. Mind jack only works on one target at a time.

Mind jack only works in a 30 feet radius and although assimilation will make her think like a human, it has to be learned through an extended period of time. Concepts such as why humans name things, trust, and vengeance might be easily understood but complex conceptions such as philosophy, politics, quantum physics, etc., will be difficult or even impossible if the assimilated does not grasp these concepts themselves.

Strengths: Heighted hearing and smelling, agile, night vision, basically whatever a fox has.
Weaknesses: Anything that could kill a fox, fox repellent, not allowed in restaurants, easily distracted.

History: Vixen was born along the cliffside, in a world where a fox’s hide is considered luxury and its meat, a delicacy to the locals. Many a times this poor one had to run relentlessly away from its hunters, sometimes even wounded. But even if this young one was to be cornered, the survivor in her would kick in, jacking people’s minds and turning them against each other.

But one time, while witnessing a hunter and his dog, she became curious as to what is going on. She jacked the hunter’s mind and Through assimilation, she understood that a mutual reliance on each other had benefited them in surviving, the concept of “Pets” was grasped that day And seeing that the owner already had a pet she left them be.

Now weeks have passed, and there is no time to lose, it’s time for her to get herself a pet too.

Personality: Stubborn, brutish and impossible to get close to. This girl seems to hate everyone and everything often cussing people out for even looking at her. She's one to punch first and ask questions while punching, leaving broken bones in her wake. Despite all this, she is incredibly fragile on the inside, often questioning and doubting her decisions. And even worse, wanting to have some knight come in and sweep her off her feet so that she could finally be a girl, despite what her parents put her through. She is a complex young lady with a desire to be the son her parents always wanted, while still wanting to be a princess.

Dislikes (at least 3): Being treated like a girl "I-I don't mind it sometimes", Coffee "Well, anything bitter is terrible", Drunks "Oi, watch the hands asshole!", and her powers "I can't even hug my parents anymore."

Strengths (Any): Hand to hand combat is nearly impossible against Morgan as her ability activates with skin contact and sucks energy from her user making the fight that much shorter for her opponent. She has, however, trained in some forms of judo and jujitsu so as to protect herself from people. Draining a living thing of its energy can substitute eating.

Weaknesses (Must have at least 1): She isn't exactly the fastest person out there nor the most durable. She also has a short fuse and will lash out at random times. Feels fairly vulnerable about her gender and will often go to extremes to keep it hidden. Any ability she gains is temporary and will eventually wear off.


History:
Born a human in a town run by one of "The Big Three," Morgan was the first and only child of Larry and Martha Llewellyn. However, Morgan wasn't exactly what they wanted either. They had wanted a boy more than anything so that he could join the gang and make their lives easier. Well, when life gave them a girl, they decided to raise her as a boy. The only problem in this was that Morgan liked to wear skirts. Something about their flowing nature just made her smile and feel free.

By the age of nine, Morgan was very much a tomboy. She'd run through the irradiated wastes of New-America like it was a playground. Often finding new places that had loot to be traded into the gangs for protection money. Her parents had gotten a boy that they could at least use to some degree. However, Morgan being human left them with little to no chance to become a member of The Devil and his Demons. That's what made them the most disheartened by their daughter. Morgan knew of this and wanted nothing more than her parents' love and admiration, so she decided to do something incredibly foolish. She ran away from home.

Now Morgan wasn't running away to stay gone. She just wanted enough exposure to X-radiation that she could become an abnorm. She would do anything for her parents and that included risking her lives. Morgan found one of the original bomb sites. The place, even after 25 years, still shone with the power of what happened. For three days, Morgan camped out by the site. The radiation seeping into her body until it started to make her nauseated being there. She returned home unsure of whether or not she achieved her goal, her heart heavy with the thought of failing her parents.

When she returned, she was surprised that her parents had seemed worried for her. Why did they care suddenly? It didn't matter though. As soon as they hugged her she felt their skin against hers. But she also felt warmth, a lot of warmth, flowing into her like it was being sucked in. She then heard her parents' cries of agony. Pulling away she saw that they looked like they'd been sucked dry. It was terrifying for Morgan to realize SHE'D done that. Her parents, though, applauded her. She was an abnorm now. Now she could be a part of the Devil and his Demons. But Morgan was scared of herself. Her power nearly killed those she loved. What would happen if the gang found out about this? She didn't want to find out and ran.

After five years of running across New-America, doing her best not to touch anyone, not letting anyone get close to her and not letting anyone learn of who her parents were. She wound up in a town where nobody questioned a boy wearing a skirt. It was like paradise for her. The people were tough, even the women, and you learned not to trust anyone. She wound up at a bar where the keep kept his eye on her. He witnessed her power first hand as she caught a rat and drained its life, sustaining her as if she'd eaten. He decided that the kid would be a good successor for his bar because with her ability she could handle any trouble makers. He began her training that day.

Over the next three years, Morgan was trained to be a fighter and a bartender. The two basically went hand in hand. Morgan looked up to him like he was her father, all the while never forgetting her birth parents. She wanted to someday be free of her ability and finally be able to go home, but she figured that would never happen. To make matters worse, a local gang burned down the bar she was at after she kicked its leader's ass for getting too rowdy with one of the female customers. The bar keep blamed Morgan for not just taking out the guy with her ability and told her to leave. Betrayed by her trust, Morgan was forced to relearn life's harshest lesson, you can't trust anyone. After two years, Morgan still hasn't found a place to call home, but she has managed to grow into a strong independent woman that don't need no man.

Abnormal? If so Power: Reskin- her real body consists entirely of a small orb that is pratically indestructible. This orb can absorb X radiation in it´s pure form, or in any form where it contaminates or causes phenomena or materials within a 7 inches radius of any given part of her body, and if directly touching it, it can also consume almost any material, provided they are in direct contact with it, however this process if very slow and opens a gap in the orb, making the body vulnerable during that time. This orb can then covert any absorbed radiation X into a generated purple guey substance capable of manifesting augmented version of the non-radiation X infected things the orb consumed, only living (examples: it can manifest an extra long and more controllable octupus tentacles, or it can manifest stronger metal bars if it consumed metal bars). At first, the orb will attempt to mimic the body inside of it, though at later stages that secondary body can consciously alter what it manifests and even use the gue to manifest itself into inanimate objects, effectively "reskining" them into creatures, and it can detach it´s own body parts. However, anything detached from the secondary body or the orb cannot live for more than a few seconds to a week depending on size and self-sustainance capability.
*The absorption of the X radiation also removes all phenomena and materials based on X radiation, AKA, it nullifies any effect of an abnormality within the range, except it´s own. However, this elimination is not permanent if there is a renewable source for it (abnormalities are restored once out of range) and the range itself is only 1.5 meters in radius from the orb.
*The augmentations in the manifested parts are limited to traits that already existed and were prevalent about the parts. No augmentation will make a molusc manifestation harden, because those weren´t very hard to begin with, but a shell can in fact be made more resistant as it is manifested.
*Modified things like the body parts of other people with abnormalities cannot be manifesteted. Anything else that is absorbed by the orb can be manifested in an augmented way.
*She can give general instructions to an inanimate being she "reskins", but beyond that they are wild an uncontrolled if they are detached.
*Parts can only be manifested provided there is enough stored radiation for it. If the x radiation runs out, the secondary body will quickly decay into a corpse, and be discarded.
*The orb only collects conscious or pratical information into itself and thus damage to the brain of the second body can remove a major part of it´s memories. In addition, the orb has little control over the body´s functions once a brain is established, so if the brain is damaged in such away that it prevents it from realizing the need for it´s own repairs, the body just won´t and will live with whatever damage that was until the brain is damaged enough that the orb can once again control the body

Body Modifications: Technically speaking, her whole secondary body is kind of a modification to begin with, but regardless the orb is too physically resistant to be modified.

Personality: mopy, serious, earnest, wants to survive and experience,stoic, live and let live attitude, low energy, brutally honest but mostly silent, intense interest in conflict- Sphaera is a very pratical soul, focused on her goals of survival and experience. From birth, she was trapped in her sphere, which made her grow an intense desire to know the outside world and understand the experience of being, well, what she wasn´t. In particular, she was very interested in the strange behavior where people would argue or fight with each other over minor things. It seemed so nonsensical to her, so why did so many do it? She couldn´t help but grow curious.
Sphaera is self-centered and self-conscious, leading to a "live and let live" stoic attitude, where she will avoid interfiering with anyone else´s business if they avoid interfiering with hers as well. While out of a desire to live she will put her back into fighting, she is generally a low-energy person who does things more in a form of habit than particular effort at a specific time. Despite all this, she won´t hold back from criticizing things, and as a rule, if she speaks, she is ALWAYS telling the truth. This also applies to compromises she makes, as she is especially earnest with the keeping of promises. Most of the time, however, she just remains a silent observer most of the time.
However, she IS a fast learner, if the opportunity comes. This mainly comes from her outstanding imagination, but also from her pragmatic nature which motivates her to focus on the thing she wants to learn.

Strengths (Any):
-Extremely Hard to Kill: With one exception, the orb is always a perfectly sealed place where her true body resides and it´s nigh-indestrutible. Add to that the immunity to abnormalitiy or radiaton X effects of any kind and the result is that you simply can´t kill her main body. However, the secondary body can be killed, and it can´t simply regenerate critical amounts of damage.
-Protection from Abnormalities: The absorption of radiation X that happens at the surface of her body and the sphere also absorbs radiation x by breaking down phenomena or materials from it. In other words, it causes an extremely high weakening of anything pertaining to an abnormality or the radiation, usually manifesting in the way of there being no effects from said things
-Omni-consumption: For small periods every day, the orb opens itself to consume something which it can convert into something to feed the main body with. Anything that does contains at most little to no radiation traces can be consumed this consumed this way for that period.
-Adaptability: Being able to manifest what she consumes after a certain point, provided they have at best minimal traces of radiation, and slightly augmenting those things, means she has a wide array of choices in terms of fighting style and tools, plus some non-combat functions like disguising herself.
-Detachment: She is capable of manifesting parts that then become detached of her, so long as they had some base to begin with (like, manifesting parts from her body and removing them or manifesting parts on a non-living thing, animating it). These parts can follow simple instructions, but they die in a short period of time.
-Pain Resistance: While her secondary body IS a body and can get hurt like any other, the pain her main body receives is minimal.
-Oustanding Imagination: she is quite adept at imagining things in great deal from very little information, making her a quick learner and often allowing her a degree of prediction as to how a certain endeavor might turn out, potentially helping her pull away from a more dangerous or deadly conflict


Weaknesses (Must have at least 1):
-Secondary Body Destruction After-effects: the orb is unable to fully record the outside world as it does not have a full connection to the secondary body. So long as the secondary body possesses a brain, said brain is the one in charge of the secondary body and it´s manifestations, meaning any harm to it that is not significant enough to signal the brain as compromised but is signifcant enough to impair some of it´s functions could potentially become permanent damage until the brain is damaged enough to alert the orb. In addition, if the brain is damaged in that way, the orb will not make conscious decisions on what to manifest, and will simply automatically attempt to restore it´s base form. Lastly, if the brain is in fact destroyed, the orb will only preserve intentions, skills and manifestation patterns as memories, all others are forgotten.
-Pure Living Organism: It is important to note that as close as the manifested parts are to the consumed ones, they are still modified replicas. Modified replicas that are always alive, in other words, even if they are harder than some metals, these parts still contain various biological traits. Involuntary reflexes, need for sustaining, and flammability are among them.
-Cannot Receive Support: The nullification of the phenomena and materials goes both ways. While she can´t be harmed by an abnormality or it´s consequences, she can´t be helped by one either
-Limited Generation: While her abnormality is very efficient at it, she can only manifest her parts by consuming the converted X radiation she absorbed. In other words, she can run out and be unable to continue to manifest her body until she absorbs enough radiation again.
-Feeding Gap: Even the orb isn´t utterly immune to piercing, however. At regular intervals, it automatically opens up to consume something from the outside. The consumption is in of itself, a slow process, so if something gets through the gap too fast, it could potentially harm or even kill the main body.
-Youth: Sphaera is very young, and lacks knowledge about the world. She can easily fall for traps or tricks.
-Lazy: She is really not one to put much off an effort into what she is doing unless her survival depends on it or she gets a particular new experience out of it.
-Brutal Honesty: While she mostly remains silent, when she does speak she puts everything she can into not lying.



History: Sphaera doesn´t have a lot of history to speak off. She was born fairly recently in this new post-apocalytpic world, a premature birth that left her mother cripled. Instead of a placenta forming around the little girl, a black sphere had, and it was solid as rock, or perhaps more. Sphaera´s mother didn´t even consider giving her a name anymore, she was horrified that maybe she had just laid an egg. Just in case it really was some kind of egg, however, her father managed to convince the mother to keep the sphere. From tthere on out, sometimes random objects or bits of food would disappear from their tiny home, and one day, the black sphere sprouted frog legs. Horrified, her parents threw her away from a small ravine, but accidentally ended up dropping it on top of a certain boy´s head. Needless to say, the boy died, and the orb slowly consumed the boy´s body.
Soon, Sphaera could manifest a human body herself, her base form. Yet, she discovered the place where the boy she consumed used to live. The parents were grieving his disappearance, and so Sphaera manifested the boy´s body over her own and went to greet the parents. The couple was overjoyed at first, but they soon realized the farse and kicked Sphaera away, threatening to kill her if she came back.
Sphaera was left to roam on her own. Fortunately for her, she could already manifest animal parts capable of letting her hunt for whatever prey she manage to find. One habit she never abandoned, however, was using the boy´s form as her standard manifestation over her base manifestation.

    Yes, none (that she is aware of at this time). The only indicators of her abnormality are her oddly colored hair/eyes and her genetic structure.
    Kaia is what you could call a late bloomer. Her DNA contains all the genetic code for an abnorm, but her actual power is still something she has yet to discover. Unbeknownst to her, her ability is a specific type of Atmosphere Manipulation. In other words, she can cool the air around her to the point where the temperature is so low that the moisture in the air freezes. Thus, she can use her ability to freeze people and objects. Along the same line, she can also alter the atmosphere surrounding her body so as to make herself appear invisible to the naked eye.

    At this point in time, she's only unlocked a very small part of her ability. When experiencing intense emotions, like fear or anger, she begins to cool the surrounding air subconsciously, making it almost frigid. She does not consciously realize that she has an ability at this time.

Personality:
Friendly but kind of a ditz, Dr. Museon is always lost in her thoughts. In many ways, she is odd, mumbling various ideas to herself and thinking out loud. She trusts easily and sees the good in others, being strangely optimistic despite all that's happened to the world. A smile always stays on her face.


Likes: Learning. Exploring. Others.
Dislikes: Forgetting. Pessimism. Swimming (has a phobia of this).

Strengths:
Resilient, doesn't give up easily. Surprisingly able to take a few hits. Things that she can remember are remembered very well and she can think out of the box. She also knows hapkido and aikido from learning it at a young age. Can help fix people up with her knowledge of the medical field.

Weaknesses:
Her extremely poor memory and naivety. Unable to store new information in her head except skills, though won't be aware of learning said skills due to her condition. Has to put down everything in her notebook or she'll forget it all later. Museon can't take too much more than an average person can.

History:
Dr. Museon's memory is missing many chunks, though she can remember everything prior to a certain event in her life. She worked as a minor (yet still relatively important) scientist for a small organization that . As a member of ▉▉▉▉▉, Museon had to keep hush hush about all sorts of things. They weren't doing anything with malevolent intentions - on the contrary, this organization had kind ones. Though technically a bit grey, law-wise, since technically people in the organization aren't legally allowed to be making all this medicine or technology for...various reasons. Still, the goal of the organization was to get medical support to those who couldn't afford it, improve current medications, and come up with robotic replacements for missing limbs. She was assigned to work on the ▉▉▉▉▉▉▉ Project - which dealt mainly with cybernetics, the human brain, and reconstructing ▉▉▉▉▉▉▉▉. The goal of the ▉▉▉▉▉▉▉ Project was to aid people with ▉▉▉▉▉▉▉ and had less funding due to being seen as a "lesser" issue compared to other health issues. This project was something Museon wanted to be a part of, as her father is affected by ▉▉▉▉▉▉▉...but the project ended after an attack to the lab. When she woke up from what happened, ▉▉▉▉▉'s building was destroyed and all of the notes there were missing, putting all research back to stage one.

This is where Museon's memory of the past ends. Her memory in scrambles, Museon took an empty notebook and pen with her, not forgetting what happened before but severely unable to recall recent events. It's a mystery that she can't remember certain key words or phrases from her past, as her condition should only affect things she remembers after the event, but it's not unlikely that she had a bit of retrograde amnesia to go with her anterograde amnesia. At least there's the small chance of getting those memories back - current ones are guaranteed gone if she doesn't jot them down fast enough.
